I had a transmission rebuild performed a couple weeks back that was covered under warranty. I ended up having to wait over two weeks to get the vehicle into the shop for the repairs, which was unfortunate. That was compounded by the fact that they had zero loaner vehicles to offer. We therefore had to drive the vehicle almost daily while it waited to be fixed, which was rather unsafe.Once the vehicle was in, the work took two days and was done. No complaints there. The service staff was pleasant.
Comfortable lounge with good wifi. Convenient to be able to work while waiting for a 3-hour recall fix. It was done sooner than expected, no issues. In and out simply and smoothly. Will go back to this dealer for service.

My service visit went very smooth and was a great job by all involved. The only improvement of note would be to replace the waiting room chairs and sofa. These are not comfortable to use while waiting.
I was satisfied with the service except I thought the labor costs of 75% were quite high. The part they replaced was a bracket related to the warning system. It was a small fabricated metal part.
Came in for a quick oil change and check-up, and I was out within an hour with everything done.
I was very impressed with Lithia Ames. I had the 60,000 mile service plus oil change. I was kept posted on progress, and job completed before estimated time.
Bought my first car from Nissan of Ames and it was not an enjoyable experience from the beginning. The salesman was too aggressive from the minute I showed interested calling my personal phone number at all hours and when I said I could not talk he pushed me even more to the point I had to get family members involved because he would not take me seriously and pushed back when I said I was not available. When I finally bought the car my registration paperwork was not filled correctly so I paid over $300 for the plates to expire the month they arrived and no help was offered from the dealership to correct the mistake they made. Was a horrible experience and felt taken advantage of as a young college aged woman since the salesman gave my boyfriend more respect than me as the buyer.
I take my Nissan Rogue to the Nissan of Ames service department because they know their brand and their cars ... Im always pleased with prompt service and mechanics are willing to look at other issues that I may have (in this case, I wanted to make sure my air conditioning was fully functional).
Called for a recall and they got me in the next day. It was convenient for me because I was coming to town. thanks!!!
Had a recall on my Altima. Service department did an excellent job.
I appreciated they were able to get me in when I was able to get to Ames. I also appreciate they were able to quickly detect the problem and make the correction without a cost.
They also took care of a recall issue during my scheduled oil change.

I stopped by on my way home from Kansas today for the air bag light blinking. A service tech noticed right away it was just a wire that was unplugged and promptly fixed the issue. Great service!
