I absolutely love this salon! Everyone is so professional and kind. Mimi is amazingly fast and super creative. She always goes above and beyond to give me the style I want and if she tries anything new, its always amazing. I will always support this business!

It took me a while to find a nail salon I loved and trusted and Mimi’s is just that! Mimi is absolutely wonderful as well. She’s quick, professional and extremely sweet! I can get in and out during an hour lunch break (for SNS!) and have enough time to spare to get back to the office. I’m impressed with the services whether it be sns or pedicures. Love it here and highly recommend!

Update September 2020: Two years and several manicures and pedicures later, this place is still fabulous. I’ve never had an issue with a gel manicure after my initial review, and they always take good care of their customers. Love the staff. 😊 Just as clean as always, and even more so because of the current situation. Definitely recommend.EDIT: changed from 4 stars to 5. I returned two days later to see about getting my gel polish fixed. Mimi did them herself, and they look fantastic now! I’ll ask for her from now on. (Redone mani pictures attached)Original review: Not bad, but not what I would call fantastic. My finished nails were messier than I expected for a $30 gel manicure (see pictures). The deluxe pedicure was very nice; no real issues there. $38 was a hair more than I would have expected for the pedicure with sugar scrub and hot towel wrap service, but it was a good pedi.

The worst nail salon ever, I got pedicure and SNS done, I wasnt happy at all and I have to go to an other nail salon to fix my toe and the lady who did my SNS didnt put any lotion or massaging my hand like other salons do and just left without asking me if I like it or not..When I ask the owner he said the lotion is not included but they charge more than unscaled Salons.. Theyre very cheap and the salon is so old and has old furniture but the prices are so high.. Th owner was so rude and unprofessional.. I will never go back there.

Avoid this place at all costs! I went for a $40 SNS manicure and apparently nail filing has to be requested as it wasnt done. Also requested cuticle trimming and they charged $10 extra ($50 total now). The man (and owner) did my service and he truly did not know what he was doing. Hammond Nails at Chastain or Sandy Springs are 1000% better.

Pink and white nails are my favorite. When I asked for pink and white, I expected pink and white. After the service, my nails looked like a normal full set with white tips, two very crooked nails and five of my nail surfaces were uneven. I won’t be going back after being charged full price, and not being given the courtesy of knowing my nails looked nothing like pink and whites.

My nail tech Summer was amazing. I didn’t like the color I chose after and she added sparkles free of charge!! It looked a lot better. The owner is also the sweetest woman. Massaged me and made me feel welcomed. Definitely will go back!

Mimi and her staff are always on time with their appts. and treat all their customers with respect. There are a lot of nail salons out there to choose from but Mimis Nails is by far one of the best in Northern Georgia.

I think the job they did on my nails was good, however I got acrylics and before I went into the salon I had called up and asked for the price which was 35 dollars. I get in, ask for the acrylic full set and then they charged me extra for having them longer (which I have never heard before in my life) and the shape. I just think all that info should have been relayed over the phone before I drove all the way there. Kinda annoying..

I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to accommodate me right away for a gel manicure. Not only do I love the vibe and decor, but the price is right for the midtown area.# did my gel manicure and she was so meticulous & gentle with my cuticles. My nails are currently recovering from acrylics so I have really deep ridges.. I will definitely be returning!

I can hear my bridal. Party and was able to book a day ahead of time. They were incredibly nice on the phone and so welcome and we walked in everyone with that us. We had incredible excellent service and the nails were actually pretty fast. So happy woman else theyre gorgeous! Will definitely come back

Ive been going to Mimis since I was 14 years old. They always make you feel welcome and asks plenty of questions to make sure youre getting what you want.They are also extremely talented! They do amazing and intricate work! The deluxe pedicure is worth it, even though its not really included, they always give you a mini foot massage, its awesome!I would recommend Lili, she is the best and such a sweetheart!This is hands down my favorite nail salon!

Been coming here for some time now and every time I come the service is excellent. Hardly ever a wait time although they do have an appointment system for those that want the security of being in and out. I also dont have a specific nail tech, Ive been with them all and they are great. Ive done everything from acrylics to regular mani, gel & dip powder. Definitely worth coming!I recommend this location if you are ever needing to look for a trustful and 10 star results.

Got my dip nails done on the Saturday before my first job. It has been over three weeks and they have lasted with no damage. Ill be soaking off and making a new appointment very soon. We were able to make an appointment for a group of 4 on a Saturday with no problem and no wait. Give this place a try and you wont be disappointed!!

I was searching on google for nail places and found Mimis Nails Spa.I am so glad I found this nail salon. I walked right in with no wait. Glad I came early because it gets busy. I really enjoyed my time with my nail tech. He was very nice and listened to what I wanted. I also liked my pedicure tech. She was nice as well and was very good with my feet. They had an informative show on where I got my nails on that I was fascinated by watching and in the back they had regular cable tv. Mimis Nails Spa is very clean and they sanitize!I will be back to Mimis Nails Spa in the future

This was my first visit to Mimis as I continue on my quest to find a good nail salon near my home. Well I think I just may have succeeded in my quest today.I made an appointment over the telephone and asked to have a pedi and fill at the same time. They were able to accommodate me within thirty minutes.When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Mimi, who led me to the vast array of nail colors. I was immediately seated in a comfortable massage chair and greeted by one of the sweetest women I have met -- Lily. Lily said she would be doing my pedicure. She brought me water and made certain my chair was comfortable for me. LT, my nail technician, arrived shortly thereafter, and after specifying my needs, began working diligently.The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The shop is nice and quiet with relaxing music in the background.What I really appreciated was the fact that I was not sitting in the middle of a conversation between two people whose language I do not speak. One of my pet peeves at nail salons is having my techs carry on a loud conversation in another language amongst themselves in my presence. It is rude and disrespectful. Alas, this was not the case today.LT did an EXCELLENT job on my nails. I could not be any happier. He is very knowledgeable, quick at his job, and friendly. Lily is as sweet as can be. She constantly wanted to make certain I was comfortable. She too did a super job.I cannot wait to return. Thank you to everyone :-)

This place was amazing! I have been to many nail places in Alpharetta and this one by far does the best job. All the staff take their time to assure they do quality work. Nothing is rushed but they are efficient - meaning you will not be there all day. The owner is very attentive to her customers as well as her staff. I called and was given an appointment right away. I was surprised how affordable their prices were, I really hope they dont change it. I will be coming back!

Ive been coming here for over a year now and refuse to go anywhere else. Every single one of the workers are great. My gel nails stay on for 4 weeks (would last longer but they are grown out and too long so I come in to have my nails done.) I always get gel nails. Make an appointment because they do get busy, and plan on being here for at least an hour even with appointment as sometimes they have a bit of a wait. Worth it! These are my real nails with shellac on them.

Great service and amazing nails. Came to visit from Seattle and still my favorite place. The store is clean and beautiful, will come back if i go back to georgia.

I came in last week to see if they were able to squeeze me in last minute, and one of the girls there immediately helped me. Unfortunately, I forgot to get the girls name but she was super professional and friendly! Personally Im iffy with acrylic nails, but she made them feel so natural! I highly recommend this place, its so chill and the designs are 10/10! Ive never been more in love with a manicure !!!

Hi! This place is excellent! I come here often, and the service is always great. They do an excellent job of getting to know their customers and ensuring their customers’ satisfaction!

I called one hour before closing, and the gentleman picked up and told it’s fine I should come in they will not rush to do my nails. I was willing to go the next day. I payed $73 for horrible SNS and regular pedicure. I will never return, they rushed it and messed up my nails. Go somewhere, where they will do professional job and not rush it.

Ive been a customer at Mimis Nails for over 20 years and highly recommend them to anyone!! Always clean and comfortable with a very friendly staff that is like family. Mimi always works her magic on my nails, especially when she makes my design ideas come to life!! Im old school....I prefer acrylic nails, but there are so many options to choose from you can easily find the type of your liking. Even if you dont live on Alpharetta, its worth the drive....I live about 20 miles away,. ☺

This is a super cute nail salon tucked in Alpharetta. Loved my pedi/mani polish change! I was in and out, and no skimping on the quality of the polish job. The salon is very nice and clean and the chairs are super comfortable . I enjoyed an amazing massage and was glad my nails were done first so they could dry while my toes were being done . Will definitely be visiting again!

I decided to try them since I was near this shop, but will NOT recommend based on my experience with the male nail tech. I got SNS on my nails and a pedicure. Three of my nails were messy, had lines and debris in them, didnt notice until the next day. The gentleman did not let them dry all the way nor did he make sure to remove the particles. By the third day I had two of the SNS nails to crack and chip cheap product. The two young ladies that did mine and my daughters pedicure were great. My daughter also also got a wax on her eyebrows and they look nice. I spent a lot of money $120 just to have to turn around and pay someone else to fix it.

Less than impressed. The staff was nice but the outcome was not. Went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. Got French tip mani and pride 78 bucks. Parts of the gel is coming off. Will not be returning.

This place is amazing, they care about their customer, and is very patient when it comes to their client . I have been coming to them for a very long time . I totally recommend them .

I got gel pedicure done.paid $43. In 5 days every nail except 2 peeled off. I called asked for a refund, the gentleman refused, suggesting I come back and he would give me a discount. I am on vacations (thats why I got them done), and I really dont feel that a discount is a proper solution to this situation. Very disappointed. Dishonest people. When disputed, the owner claimed that I never called them.

I have been going to Mimis Nails for over 10 years. Fabulous nail technicians and great prices. They are the best in Alpharetta. I have a bad habit of chewing my nails. When I go to Mimis I feel comfortable and right at home. I dont have to feel embarrassed of my anxiety ridden bad habit. My newest favorite nail type is the SNS nails. L.T. takes care of me and he makes my nails look so natural and that makes me feel beautiful. The SNS nails last a long time too! L.T. is a great nail artist. I love Mimis Nails and will be a continued client!

Absolutely horrible. Ive never had a salon charge me more for shaping the nails. She charged more for coffin shape, and couldnt execute coffin shape. It was as round. When I expressed that the shape was wrong she began filing and filing- so now the shape is still incorrect and now much shorter than the length I wanted. I also paid more for white tips and she used a pink powder over the entire nail giving me pink nails. The acrylic is either old or the nail tech is inexperienced because 4 days later and all of the nails are lifting. I will never go here and my suggestion is that you dont either.
