Went in today as a walk-in to get a haircut. Barber was extremely rude when I was explaining how I wanted to be cut. Just got up and left. Got a haircut elsewhere which turned out great. Never coming back!

Sam is great. Front desk needs help from time to time. They don’t actually greet anyone, but ask if you have an appointment. Last time I was there, the front desk person had it sounding like a middle eastern night club which isn’t exactly the vibe a barbershop should want on a Sunday morning. One of the tenured barbers asked to turn it to the normal music and she wanted to argue and pull customers into the argument. The only reason I still go there is Sam. He’s a 5 star rating, but the shop overall is more like a 2.

I found this barber shop which do head shave and near to place i live. They have done the job good, but this place is not suggested for small kids. Kids generally cry, they are asking my kid(1 year old) directly to stop crying and keep silent because other customers are getting disturbed. This is not library or theater. Not so professional to the customers.

Sam is absolutely hands-down the best Barber Ive ever had. Ive been going to him exclusively for the last 8 years since I moved to the area. He is always positive, energetic, asks about you and yours and is a consummate professional. He is precise and fast and gets a busy man in and out of the chair with efficiency and superior quality. On a personal note...Sam cuts the hair of the Dad of one of my favorite College/Pro atheletes and when the son came to the shop one day Sam called me to let me know and I came in and got to meet him, gets pics and a few autographs. Who does that for their customers? Sam does....Go see Sam!

Had to get professional headshots taken for my business. Came here just for Sam and was pleased to say it was the best haircut experience Ive ever had. The guy should be teaching classes!!! Gave me a gentlemans haircut that dealt with my cowlick along with some pro tips on styling it. His experience clearly shows and excellent customer service.

Sam is the man. He is a great barber and a great person. I am currently confined to a wheelchair and he cut my hair without hesitation. His skill plus his personality has made me very loyal to him. I highly recommend Sam if you are looking for someone to provide barber services.

Hair cut was amazingly good. Superb quality, looked great. Not all barbers require that customers wear a mask despite sign posted at the entrance that customers must wear a mask. Several customers were NOT wearing a mask. No temperature checks. That places both barbers and other customers at risk to be infected by Covid-19.

What a bad haircut. Didnt listen to a word I said. I asked to not take any length off and she ended up chopping off 2 inches. I would not go here.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience.The haircut was ok.BUT, I was letting my beard to grow since March/20 to September/20 to get a good looking beard at a barber shop. Even though I had explained what was supposed to be done on my beard, Sounie had simply done everything on her thoughts and now more than half of my beard is gone. She did not seem very experienced with beards like the other barbers around did. You should think twice before setting an appointment with HER, because from the reviews we can see that there are many good barbers there.

Great barber shop. It has a good feel, great staff, and good prices. The cuts are amazing, and totally the best around here. Sam is by far my favorite, he gives great cuts and is enjoyable to go to. I came here again during corona, and wasnt even concerned once I walked in. They immediately check your temperature for a fever, and when you go back the barbers have masks, and some even have face shields on. No need to cut your hair yourself.

I’ve been going here since I was 10 years old, and now I’m almost 22. That should tell you enough! Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Alpharetta Barber Shop for about 8 years now and I’ve never left disappointed. Kia and Sam are the best and the shop has a great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and talkative (if you want to be of course) and they’ve all got their own stations that they keep very clean. I nearly fall asleep every time the hot towel goes on. As long as I live in this area, I’ll never change shops!

Got a haircut from Erik. Nothing special or drastically different than what I had before but he took the time to blend it and was very detailed. He said people would notice and ask about it. They did! at least 10 compliments on it over a 2 week period. definitely my home barber shop now that I live in Alpharetta. Reasonable price too, competitive with the chain places but soooo much better.

Went in for first haircut after quarantine and it was great. Very clean! Cleaned instruments, wore gloves and masks. Very professional.

Been coming here for a while and every other time I come it has been a 5⭐️experience. Had to stop in quickly and got seated with someone I had not seen before so I can only assume she is new. I believe her name is Glada or something similar. First impression definitely not good...super non professional and looked like she just came in from a long night out partying. In addition, she definitely hasn’t been cutting hair very long...my hair is a mess...I’m going to have to go get it fixed some where else. Listen I know everyone has to start somewhere but she should have been trained better before wreaking someone’s hair and please tell her what is and isn’t appropriate to wear to work. Definitely not to the standard I am used to here.

I have been getting my hair cut monthly with either Sam, Choman or Kia for 15 years. They are very professional and excellent barbers. The place is impeccable and the service outstanding.

New to Alpharetta and needed a haircut. Had an issue finding this barber shop and hesitant about price of $22,00 . This is a very large and luxurious shop. Since I was a new customer Sara was not sure at first about what I wanted but she did come through, Did receive an great/excellent cut from Sara. The hot towel was an added nice touch. The best place in North Atlanta. I came to Atlanta about four years ago and have always tended to get "last minute" haircuts, so I would regularly go between the closest place I could find and the cheapest. This is the first place that has consistently had the best haircuts and also, it's amazingly cheap! All haircuts are less than $20, and the wait time has never been long. I have been going there for about a year now and unless something major happens, I won't be going anywhere else. At first, I liked Cindy, and stuck with her, but one day she wasn't there, so I just had the first available person, and they did a great job. From then, I thought I'd try a new person each week and found that every barber there is great! (and very pleasant to talk to). Also, I forgot to mention the shave and hot towel experience; I was surprised when they just started shaving my neck and then put a hot towel around my head, but it is one of the best parts of the haircut. Best place to go to. Yes! Yes! Yes!

Ive been coming to the Alpharetta Barber Shop for years and always get a consistently wonderful experience. Kia and Choman are wonderful owners and all the barbers are experienced professionals. Great barber shop atmospher! Fast cuts for walk-in, but they butchered my beard doing a lineup (overall haircut is acceptable, still going to another Barber to fix everything). Definitely recommend getting appointment, these walk-in barbers should never touch a straight razor again. The guys taking appointments looked like they had much more Barber experience.Edit: Went back with an appointment, Sam helped me with a fast and relaxing cut, even lined up my beard on short notice. Had an amazing experience compared to last time

Great locally owned barbershop. It is always busy so I recommend making an appointment but walk-ins shouldnt expect too much of a wait. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and high quality haircuts. Howie (very detail orientated and precise) and Ahmed (skilled and a great conversation holder) are great and I highly recommend them.

I have been going to Kia at The Alpharetta Barber Shop for many years. A friend recommended the place when I was looking for a traditional barber shop. The location is very convenient on Windward Parkway and you can make an appointment to guarantee your haircut is on time. They have the latest equipment yet manage to keep some of the old school feel with the straight edge razor and hot towel at the end of the haircut. I have been going there for years and have no plans to change. Once you find something good, you stick with it.

Bad barber, not shop…(read all)I have never been to this shop before but I went because of the ratings. To be fair, I blame the barber no the shop, so I may give another barber a chance.The barber who helped me is the Asian lady in the first chair to the left. Sorry I did not catch her name.She asked what I wanted and one thing I asked for was to make it short around the ears and back but just on the edges. I even moved my hand in the areas that was to be cut that way.She proceeded to cut straight across my sideburns (I have a full beard). She then said that my beard no longer matches my hair. I am not sure how long you have to be cutting hair to ask the customer is that what he meant before cutting it?I asked her if she can please blend it and now I have no sideburns.I had a cowlick sticking up in the front when she said she was done and I asked her to wet it so I can see the length. Instead, she wrapped a hot towel around my face.After I pulled down the cowlick to make sure it was even, she asked if I wanted product and I said yes I want gel.She grabbed the pomade and added away.At that point I needed to leave. Obviously the communication was broken and damage was done.I really didn’t know the extent until I got back to work.The cut is not terrible, but I shouldnt be missing side burns. Every barber should know to trim around facial hair. At least stop and verify that is what was asked for.

If you’re new to the area like I was and looking for a good place to get a hair cut, or trying to find a new stylist, I would not recommend this place. There’s really only two or three stylists that actually know how to cut hair (one being the owner) and trying to get on their schedule is nearly impossible. The rest of their stylists are your typical “Great Clips” stylists. Unfortunately, your visit will be similar to all three of mine and you will end up not getting one of the 3 that are good, and walk out of there with a horrible haircut.

I have been coming to Alpharetta Barber Shop since they opened. The best haircut and shave in north metro Atlanta area by far. They will make you leave the shop feeling great and looking your best . Everyone here got the best talent and very professional with what they do with great attention to detail. Im seriously impressed with the entire space how it look, feel and the atmosphere is just amazing. I highly recommend this place to all of they guys that wanted to be pampered . You definitely get what you pay for with no hesitation. I have been lucky seeing CHOMAN in the last several visit here since he is working in the other locations. He is defiantly amazing and knows what to do without explaining. every time he just nailed it. even more, the scheduling system is very convenient.

On Saturday morning I went in for a haircut and hotshave $50 . The haircut looks okay! However, my neck is severely cut and everything burns. I didnt see BARBERS license or any NAME TAGS . I would recommend any of the barbers because I was bleeding at the chair and no one came over to help.

Kia and Shoman are some of the best barbers I know! Very detailed and give a great haircut. They always have great conversations with me and try to get me in even on last minute requests.

Call to set an appointment with the barbershop the lady on the phone told me 5 to 10 minutes you can come in and sit down for your cut I arrived waited about 15 minutes and then I went to go sit down and then was told actually were sorry there was somebody in front of you but the next barber can take you I said OK that’s not what we talked about on the phone and when I walked in the store but that’s fine the next available Barber said I can take you but I can only do a partial haircut I can’t do the lineup part. Waste of my time very frustrating.

I have been a long time customer here for the last 8 years. Tried other barber shops and nobody else can match their skilled barbers. Cindy was my go to person every time before she left the business. I used Pam when Cindy was not avaliable. Now Pam is my go to barber. She gives great haircuts, hair washes, and beard trims.
