We have lived here for 2 years and decided to stay for another year due to the management team and maintenance team being so great. This team has been the most responsive and helpful we have experienced. They are open to helping with anything they can and go above and beyond. Maintenance tickets are answered super quick and if they don have the part for what you need, they do whatever they can to make sure you are comfortable while they hustle to get the piece you need. GREAT TEAM and GREAT TEAM WORK!! Thank you Camden DEERFIELD!
The community is a beautiful place and the apartments are great! They have been maintained so well by the fabulous and friendly maintenance crew. It has been the most comfortable apartment experience I have ever had!
Ive lived here 2 years and counting on the first floor apartment and I love it here. The management team and the maintenance team are friendly, professional, timely. Community is well maintained, neighbors are friendly and look out for one another, and being a 1st floor apartment I have no problem with bugs.
My husband and I have lived at Camden apartments in different areas of Atlanta. Can’t say enough about this amazing community. Deerfield is absolutely top notch! Management is always looking out for residents and truly address our concerns. Maintenance team is speedy and courteous. The apartment itself has a super thoughtful layout with great amenities and spacious everything!! The neighborhood is clean, quiet and beautiful. We also enjoyed the smart controlled gates! Grocery stores, restaurants, emergency care and all kinds of shops within miles (some within walking distance). Sidewalks surrounding the area for a morning run... too long a list to go down! We highly recommend Camden to anyone seeking an apartment. This place has made our life easy with all the perks to offer.
Amazing community! The staff have so far been extremely helpful and responsive to my situation. My lease with my old community ended on July 9th, but Camden Deerfield didnt have an available unit until the 10th. So they managed to get the unit ready a day early, saving me an absolute nightmare of having to hire movers over two days. I am extremely greatful for all of their hard work and am really looking forward to calling this place my home!
Camden Deerfield Apartments is a community I highly recommend. The staff is very polished and professional. Japera Marshall is great! Her attention to detail has been flawless. I have resided in this community for more than a year. During this time, the staff has consistently provided stellar service, respect and attention to all Deerfield residence. Japera Marshall is professional, courtesy, and attentive. Japera and the management staff continue to exceed my expectations and based on my experience; I highly recommend Camden Deerfield Apartments!
Love living here. Everything is always on time and Maintenance is always speedy and the preventative work is done regularly for the appliances in the apartments. Easy access for guests. Friendly Neighbors. Very easy to live here and be happy!
I apply for an apartment back in April online it was denied! I paid a $425 application fee and was told I I will receive a $300 refund because of the denial! It is now June two months later I still have not received my refund! No one notified me when doing the application process that the $300 will be coming in a check not by the credit card I paid with and every time I call they say they sent it but I still haven’t received it I believe they could be scamming people for application fees!
We lived here for 4 months while we were in between houses, and really enjoyed our time at Camden Deerfield. We had the Siena floorplan, which was newly renovated and looked very modern. The new gray and white finishes made it feel like a high-end condo! The kitchen was a good size, and I liked the open floorplan. The shower had really good water pressure. I also liked the vanity pick-up for garbage. The location was great. It was in a quiet area, but still very close to retail (Target), grocery stores, and plenty of restaurants. The area outside the complex is a nice place for walking also. The neighbors were nice and diverse. You dont get a lot of young partiers here. Staff was helpful also.Overall we were very happy with our stay here.
Dear All,Due to some personal unavoidable reason we will be moving out of Camden Deerfield after a short stay of 17 months (I truly wish I could continue at Camden).I wanted to take this moment to share my wonderful experience with my Camden Deerfield staff. The staff had been changing since I was here, all wonderful people. I do not have/remember a single name to point with whom I may have concern. They have always been very caring and extremely helpful, I doubt any other property would have such adorable staff. Honestly I never felt away from HOME while staying here. I had the best neighbors and very good friends in Camden during my stay. Never imagined that my stay would be such comfortable — all kudos to the helpful staff here.Last 17 months I never had to worry about anything related to my accommodation/utilities, any problem (small/big) was promptly taken care without any follow ups and up to the expectations. I could concentrate more on my work due to this and of-course Camden staff support contributes to my success story along with my family.I am really scared and afraid moving out of Camden since I doubt I will find any staff as comfortable as Camden staff.Camden Deerfield staff ----- seriously!!!!! you have spoilt usList of Camden HonorsEdwinaBlakeJaperaAllyIsaacLauraMarioDustinCesarRandyRegards,Nurulla4103 Deer Creek Pl
The schools are good, the service is good, they respond immediately, they have occasions in the office on Christmas and stuff, good stores nearby, they clean the community especially for roaches and bugs. Overall the best I could ask for.
I am honored to have lived at Camden Deerfield for a little over 9 years...my only home in GA. It’s with great sadness that I am leaving but I’m moving out of state. I wish I could move Camden with me!The property is beautifully maintained, nice neighbors, nice amenities, great schools, a great neighborhood but the staff is what has made true living excellence here at Camden!!The sweet reviews about the office staff Japera and Allie, are all true. I’ve had limited dealings with Allie, but the experience I’ve had, she went above and beyond making sure the ONLY power outage I’ve experienced here, was handled swiftly! Most of my experiences have been with Japera and I’d like to express my gratitude to her - she is AMAZING!! She is the sweetest, extremely professional and responsive and always makes sure to go the extra mile with us!! I’m pretty anxious about the new place I’ll be renting from because I don’t see how anyone could fill her shoes!! The maintenance staff are so nice (Mario, Cesar, Dustin)! Most of my experiences have been with Cesar and my most recent experience was with Mario...the same comments about the office staff applies to them as well!!I’m excited to be moving back home, but I’m very sad to be leaving Camden. I hope that whoever reads this considers making Camden their new home...they certainly make you feel welcome!!
Mario Guzman is amazing! Whenever I have an issue in my apartment he comes immediately and helps me! It takes him no more than 3 minutes to come to my apt after I request help. He is very professional and always has a great attitude!!! Im very appreciative of him and his hard work!!!!
My application process was so quick and no issue . Very professional ! I would like to thank Russell for being so professional and caring.
I have been living here for a little over 3 years. I have had nothing but great experiences. The staff overall has been extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help. A few weeks ago I got a flat tire on my way home. I was only a couple of miles from home so I pulled up and parked in front of the leasing office so I can see the damage and try to change the tire myself. While I was checking out the damage, Mario and Dustin (Maintenance Team), passed by and offered to change my tire for me. This company continues to exceed expectations! Thanks again Mario and Dustin!
Japera Marshall is amazing! She knows the community and is a huge help and takes care of you through the whole process. I can’t wait to move into my new home! Thank you! 😊
Five stars is not enough. Dealing with all walks of life is a tightrope most struggle to cross - yet the team at Camden Deerfield always pulls through. They truly listen and care, respond timeously and follow through.Noting is ever perfect (this is the human condition) but the team truly does their best and under promises but over delivers. To Ally, Japera, Mario, Dusty, Cesar, the call centre and all the unknown folk who make this complex so awesome: well done and bravo.
We have been receiving excellent service from maintenance team when ever we had an issue and raised request. Thanks to Dustin Bullard and team for continued support.
We love living at Camden Deerfield! We have been loyal Camden renters since 2014. Camden Deerfield is our second Camden property we have lived in. There are many reasons why we have stayed with Camden; the entire staff, from the leasing office, the incredibly wonderful folks who keep everything working, we have never had any issues in 5+ years! If something needs repair, they are prompt, efficient and very professional. We highly recommend Camden Deerfield!
Be wary of your move out. I paid my FINAL ACCT Statement in January 2020 but apparently it wasnt FINAL because i just got hit w/ a $145 collection for utilities. My credit score tanked due to this BS and I was never notified I owed any money. The icing on the cake is I called to Pay and the collection team said they will remove the collection ... Guess what ? They lied bc its only a satisfied payment letter they sent not a deletion letter.
The entire staff at Camden is excellent and I Especially would like to shout out Dustin. He introduced himself to me on my 1st day of move in and has been nothing but kind and helpful since. He had a regularly scheduled maintenance on the morning that I happened to have to put my dog down. She was my precious angel of 18 years and Dustin went out of his way to be thoughtful and kind and every time I have seen him since he has asked about me to make sure I was OK. Additionally, I work overnight and whatever small maintenance items were needed during the day he is respectful of my space and sleeping arrangements. I appreciate his constant kindness and efficiency. I have lived in multiple Camden communities as I have moved through the years and it is this kind of caring individual that always makes Camden my number one choice of home. Thank you, Dustin and Camden team !
Legit. Camden properties GAVE their residents up to $2,000 in relief to assist them during the Covid19 pandemic. This is so above and beyond what we could have ever imagined and it genuinely helped so much. They even sent reminders to people to apply!! Who does that?!Living at Camden Deerfield was one of the best things we ever did and we have been consistently impressed with the management and maintenance crew.Wow guys, THANK YOU!!!
Japera was awesome and super informative! She answered all our questions and made the process easy :)
I have to said is been a great experience live in here, everybody is very friendly (staff), they respond very quick to your requests, the conditions of the apartments are immaculate and they keep the green areas and common areas always looking stunning. In 8 months living in here never ever have any negative situation and I recommend to friends and family with a 10 score....
We had an amazing experience at Camden Deerfield from day one to the day we moved out. Blake is an amazing manager, he is always there with his positive energy, solution oriented and kind approach. Edwina is assiting you for not only your request but also anything she can do. Edwina coordinated the hard-working team perfectly, never had to ask for what is expected. I cant say enough for the hard-working service/maintenance team. Cesar is a well-known name for all of our family members. All the team members are always friendly, kind, informer and experienced. We love Camden Deerfield, thank you for the amazingly great experience!
Japera was awesome with the move in process, extremely helpful and made it so easy for us!
A well maintained well located apartment community. The best thing about the community is its office and maintenance staff. Very responsive and very helpful. All of our maintenance issues have been attended to within 24 hours. At times, a.c. Issues have cropped up on long weekends/ holidays but someone has always taken the call and the problem has been taken care of. A special shout out to Japera Marshall and her team during these Covid 19 times. They have been available, responsive and empathetic. Resident problems have gotten a sympathetic ear and resolved to satisfaction. Thank you!
Camden Deerfield has been a great place to live while searching for a house. We live in a two bedroom apartment and its really spacious. The apartments have been renovated and they are nicer than the majority of the surrounding communities we previously looked at. Lisa and Katie are very friendly and always make you feel welcomed. They always have fun activities planned for the residents. Service requests by maintenance are fulfilled in a timely manner and they are also very friendly. The apartment is very energy efficient. This summer the power has not been over 100 dollars, which is great! The units come with all appliances and a washer/dryer, which are also not found in all complexes. Unfortunately, the office has stopped accepting packages delivered by postal companies, which they now set them outside your door. Overall, I definitely recommend this complex! We will miss it when we move this October!
We just moved in and the apartment below us is being renovated, the fumes from the epoxy paint that they are using is making us sick. I called the office and the response was open your windows so the fresh air can flow, that is funny outside temperature is 34 . The apartment below is empty and they dont want to open the windows. Very unprofessional! The personal that are renovating that apartment doesnt have any consideration about people living in another apartment. They dont have the skills or proper training. Im not a contractor, but in 10 minutes I learned what is the properly procedure when the epoxy paint is being applied. So there is No excuse for that! What type of professionals Camden are contracting? We had to leave the apartment for the night, the fumes from the epoxy paint were too strong.
For me it all started with Japera Marshall. From the first day we visited the property she was helpful, honest, and had a welcoming personality. Three things that were missing from my previous apertment experience. It was an interesting time to move considering the COVID-19 issues, but everything was still on schedule with our move. Newly renovated our apartment was in pristine condition and one maintenance team is incredibly responsive and helpful. Its been a blessing to be there and I love it. If you need help call, ask for Japera Marshall and shell welcome you home. ❤️
I am a Camden employee, and I love living at Deerfield. It has a lot of natural landscaping with beautiful wooded views. The upgrades in the apartment are modern and updated. You also get cable, door to door trash pick up, and a full size washer and dryer included in the rent. The maintenance team is knowledgeable and very helpful, and they are quick to respond to all service request.
I am a current employee of Camden. Ive always had a weird thing about living where I work not because the community isnt beautiful and amazing but because I feel like I wont know when to separate from work and enjoy. I absolutely love living at Deerfield. For me its the best of both worlds suburban living with city amenities. Everything you would absolutely need is right at your fingertips. I couldnt have made a better choice for my family and I. HAPPY is an understatement!
Edwina Price was Amazing!!!!!! She had us in and out with an hour! The most efficient and friendly sales person I have meet. If you dont like to waste time, and appreciate a person that gets down to business this is your girl!
Camden Deerfield is a great place to live. I have lived here for 9 years and I love it! The staff is courteous and polite. Edwina Price its the best. In customer service she goes above and beyond!
Love Camden Deerfield! Great location to local stores and restaurants. I am a employee of Camden and chose to live at this location for the excellent school district. The team at Camden Deerfield is attentive and cares about each resident by the responsive service they provide. Thank you guys for taking care of the community and providing living excellence!
I am a current resident and have been very pleased with my experience here at Camden Deerfield. Lisa, Katie, and the rest of the staff are always eager to assist in any way they can and, from personal experience, will go over and beyond to resolve an issue or concern. The property is well maintained and the staff are always organizing activities and finding ways to make things interesting and accommodating for the residence. Thank you and keep up the great work!
The apartments windows are 20+ years old, made of Aluminum. The air leaks all around the windows. We have already called for maintenance repeatedly, but they are not replacing the windows. Even though we keep our inside temperature around 70 deg, its extremely cold in the rooms due to leaking windows and the metal frames radiating cold air all over. The air also leaks through the front and back doors too. It is the reverse during summer when the temperature inside is kept at 75 deg, the bedrooms temperature would be very hot. Our electric bill for a small 2-bedroom apartment is running to $130 a month. Its extremely high for a 1100 sq.ft (carpet area) apartment. There are many positive aspects to talk about the apartment, but my main concern has not yet been resolved.
We moved to Camden Deerfield a year ago to look for a house in the area to buy. We are sad to leave, but we finally bought our home. I dont have anything to complain about the community. The apartments are spacious and updated. So far the best I have seen in Alpharetta. They keep the grounds clean, and the maintenance staff is great. We had an issue with the new water heater that was leaking water, and they sent one of the guys from the maintenance staff right away being already late at night. The location is perfect with awesome schools, and easy access to the expressway. Lots of stores and restaurants within minutes. We just love the neighborhood. Overall I think Camden Deerfield is a great place to live.
Camden Deerfield is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever lived in! The grounds are well kept, the leasing/ maintenance staff is great, and the apartments are recently renovated. The surrounding area has plenty of shopping and restaurants, and are all just a mile away. I am a Camden employee, and chose this location out of all others in the Atlanta area. I would recommend this community to everyone!
Im editing my review to remove a star to Its okay. There are increasing problems with the actual infrastructure, and the biggest problem of all is the water/sewage. Ive never lived in a complex where the water is turned off so often - and this most recent time, we had only a 30 *minute* warning that maintenance was going to be done. The same maintenance has been going on since we lived here - I wish they would just repair whatever it is and have done with it, rather than continue on and on with water shutoffs. At $1400 per month for a 2 bedroom unit, I expect to be able to flush the toilet on a regular basis. There are also quarterly safety inspections of each unit. I complained to the manager about the intrusiveness of this, that it seemed less to be about safety than about checking up on residents housekeeping, she basically admitted that was true. Maybe theyre looking for pets that arent registered with the complex, maybe theyre looking for dirty conditions, I dont know what, but if they are that worried about slovenly residents, there is a larger problem that needs to be addressed, and not by intruding on residents privacy.---We have lived here for not quite two years. We have a two bedroom flat and rent a garage. We find the rent reasonable for the area and have had no problems with the office staff at all - in fact, I am quite impressed with Lisa, the property manager, and the other ladies there. They do a great job of accepting packages on our behalf, keeping us up to date on apartment-related concerns and local events (like the fun run thats going to affect traffic on the street on which the complex is located). Ive found them to be relatively responsive to concerns we voiced. Maintenance requests are a little hit or miss as far as quality (there is one gentleman who is great, and one who is... well, not so great). The layout of the apartment is super - Ive lived in houses that were not laid out as well. The buildings are nice, even if aging in areas and the maintenance of them could be stepped up a notch (there are some leaks in the outside corridors, some poor drainage here and there) but nothing that affects our particular apartment.Appliances and carpet are exactly what youd expect - apartment grade. You arent going to get Bosch dishwashers or french-door fridges for this sort of rent, sorry. The usual beige carpet is everywhere outside the bathrooms and kitchen, but they do offer an annual cleaning for free, all you have to do is move your own furniture. We did this a couple of months ago, and they did a fine job. This isnt luxury super-upscale living. It is, however, comfortable, reasonably priced, and I personally find the staff pretty accommodating and really friendly. The grounds are nice and there are lots of trees and flowers, professionally landscaped. Residents who feel the world is their trash can are here, like everywhere, but the crews seem to pick up after them pretty quickly.Ive lived in a few complexes in the Milton area, and I like this one the best. I would recommend it to friends (I actually have, as a matter of fact).
It was our first home in USA and we loved it. We enjoyed the amenities and for our kids was a grate place to live. We are gonna miss the staff, they are very caring and friendly. When I had a problem everything was quickly fixed and they were always available for us.
I lived here for three years with a generally positive experience, and then ran into trouble when I moved out. I left my forwarding address when I moved, both in order to receive my final water bill and to have them forward a package I was expecting to arrive shortly after my departure (having received verbal confirmation on both points). At my new address, I received neither the bill nor the package, nor any other form of communication from Camden Deerfield. Instead they sent my final water bill directly to a debt collection agency, and returned my package to sender without informing me. I contacted the apartment office to remedy the situation, and they were unwilling to simply accept payment for the final water bill and call off the collections agency, as well as completely unapologetic for both the unnecessary escalation to collections and the unfulfilled commitment to forward my package. As a result of their actions, my credit rating has been damaged by the collections agency, I nearly faced career repercussions if the agency were to contact my employer to arrange paycheck garnishment, and a package of sentimental value to me was lost.
Pros: Its a convenient location in a great school district. Spacious and nice layouts and nice details.Cons: Older buildings...windows are extremely drafty and the heating system can not handle abnormally cold temps. Venting needs to be improved so that you dont have to constantly smell your neighbors meals. Noise isnt terrible but bedrooms could stand more buffer. There is a small playground but I think it should be where the dog park is.Overall: Not Great but also not terrible its just nothing to write home about and a bit overpriced in my opinion. The office and maintenance staff I have dealt with have been helpful and friendly.
Does anybody remember Danielle? She worked there 2015? I lived there 4yrs and trying to remember her last name? Anybody help?
My family and I moved to Camden Deerfield in April and we are very happy. We have a two bedroom apartment that is filled with upgrades and feels very homey. We moved here because we are new to the area and are looking for a home to buy when our lease is over. The option of having a short lease is something that really worked for us in our situation. One of the things that stood out the most in our apartment search was the fact that they allowed large dogs (we have two each around 50 pounds). There were only three other communities in Alpharetta that would allow two dogs of this size, but you cant even compare the other ones. This is a very quiet community and the grounds are very well kept. I had to call the office one day because we had a maintenance issue with our A/C unit and in less than 30 minutes we had someone in our apartment resolving the problem! Location is prime as well as convenient. Another plus is that they offer both washer and dryer units in the apartments, which is very convenient. I would recommend Camden Deerfield to everyone!
DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE!!!Office staff - very rude! I had an issue in my apartment where the vent stack cracked in the walls. I filed numerous complaints about smell while this went on for months with no resolution. FINALLY they called in proper technicians to figure out the issue. While fixing the issue my place was left a mess for days. I was told they would clean up when they were complete so I had to live with holes in my walls and drywall dust for the whole weekend because their staff did not work weekends. They treat you nice until after you sign the lease - then you are just another person to them.Hallways were always nasty and messy. Dog crap issues so areas always smelled like urine and poop.ONCE AGAIN DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE.
Wondeful place to live! I give it 5 stars for their excellent service, location, maintenance, amenities, and price. Cant be beat! I hope they dont raise the price when my lease is up. Great community, and love my floor plan as well. Extremely spacious. Keep it up Camden! Only thing I would change is to have the tennis court updated/renovated next to the resident only gate.
I cant believe the review rating when I saw it, so I had to write one of my own. We have been here almost a year and love it! This is our first apartment experience in almost 20 years. We were leary for sure, since we were used to a larger house with space and no neighbors nearby. We have been very happy with everyone here. The office ladies are awesome. (The previous manager that some have complained about is no longer here.) All of our maintenance requests have been done right away, and they do keep up with the grounds nicely. All of the apartments have been renovated within the last year, so I would say that has solved those problems mentioned. We have never had a bug issue, but they do have a contract with a bug company that comes regularly, so if you want your apartment sprayed, all you have to do is ask! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice clean friendly updated quiet complex.
If youre looking to move into Camden Deerfield, please, do not! From the front office to this trash company, the cost isnt worth the service you receive. If the office answers the phone, theyre rude. Ive had issues with my apartment being fixed properly, from being lied to when I renewed on what Camden would be responsible for, to the vendors they use, particularly the Valet Trash company being lazy, issuing fines, although Im within the terms of my contract, this place is made to be as discomforting as possible to the resident. When you raise a concern, they take it personally instead of fixing the issue. Hopefully after posting this, they actually answer the phone when I call and (for optics) post a nice message saying how deeply concerned they are in fixing my problem. You wont see how that plays out (trust me if its fixed appropriately Ill update you) but they wont do a thing. Unfortunately I will be staying until my lease is up but to anyone reading this, living here is not worth the cost and everything youre required to pay, passive customer service and attentiveness to your needs. Trust me.To Camden: feel free to either pick up the phone or call me!
I have been here for 3 years. This was the best. I would have stayed if not for purchasing a home. This is not a huge complex. The property was always well maintained. It is above the normal grade for apartment construction - if you live on the ground floor, as I, you will never hear neighbors above or beside you. There was no change-over in staff - which should also tell you something. You will become familiar with your neighbors which are a diverse community of mostly young professionals and young families. You will feel safe, respected and valued. Getting back to the staff; they are fabulous. You will even get to know who the grounds and maintenance crew are. My kids are grown, but if I had small children, I would feel very good about bringing my family here. It is convenient to everything, Avalon, Movies, Dining, Groceries. Very pet friendly; lots of grass for dogs. I cannot say enough for Camden. Thanks guys for making me feel like family.
We are current residence at Camden Deerfield and are very pleased. The staff does an excellent job at keeping the community beautiful and making us feel at home. The maintenance staff is so efficient and quick to respond to even the littlest things. #camdenhappy!
It has been great experience to live in Camden Deerfield, I lived here for about 5 months and their best is their service. Apartment was renovated, Leasing office staff was courteous and very nice. Overall i would recommend this to everyone who would expect great service, great apartments and great living experience overall.
This isnt my first time in apartment living, so trust me when I say this place is awful! The office manager, Karen, is rude and nasty all of the time, saying snarky comments and generally ignoring complaints. I think one of the office employees, Naydalis, is the only savior to this place as shes the only that seems to really be not only doing her job, but going above and beyond. Maintenance requests take forever to actually be done. I had a pipe burst in my storage closet outside that took them 3 whole weeks to finish 100%. All of my stuff was on my porch for 3 weeks! If it rained, then the things just got wet.If you really insist on living here, then dont get the one bedroom. My kitchen has a total of 2 small drawers and I need a stepping stool to reach the top 2 shelves (Im no short person at 56). The carpet is as cheap as it gets and is never 100% replaced, but only patched with squares that start to come up at the corners as time passes. When maintenance came to fix this, all they did was glue it back down, but the yarn was already coming out, so now theres small holes in my carpet that Im sure Ill get charged for when I finally move out. The apartment overall is built with cheap material that arent properly put in. My heater cover wont close because the screw holes are stripped, the counter top wasnt glued to the bottom part, my carpet sometimes stabs my feet on the edges because the nails/staples are popping up, and it goes on and on and on.On a plus note, dogs are very welcomed, my neighbors are fantastic, and contrary to the other posts, I have never seen a bug or anything else in my home. I guess it gets the job done, but the little headaches that werent such a big deal before are starting to pile up after 5 months of living here.
Sent several email regarding construction noise. No response withing 2 weeks time frame. Called the front office to speak to the Manager Blake. Not one time did he apologized for not returning my emails or for the inconvenience this has caused. We had a pet that is traumatized and barely eats do you the loud bangs 10 hours a day.
I am a current resident at Camden Deerfield. I have been here for two years now, and have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I can say that Lisa and the entire staff have made my stay here wonderful. The maintenance staff changes all of your lights, they pick up your trash for you, and the office even schedules a weekly food truck. I would have to say this is the best apartment complex in Alpharetta, and likely all of North Atlanta.Happy Tenants,David and Laura
Camden Deerfield is an amazing place to live! Hands down, the best in Alpharetta. There are so many awesome amenities and the location is ideal. Loved it so much that I even leased as an employee and highly recommended it!
Edwina is so sweet and helpful. Thank You sweet lady!
So far so gr8 Camden Deerfield...& Katie Brown(assistant Manager) ROCKS!!! She went above over & beyond her duties to create a fabulous before & after leasing experience
Great leasing staff, grounds are well maintained and maintenance issues are dealt with quickly. Everything about leasing here has been easy!! Glad we chose Deerfield!
Great place to live in the Alpharetta area. Friendly staff and quick service. The apartments are newly renovated and much nicer than most in the area. Close to many shops, restaurants, and 400.
One word: Exceptional! Katie Kelley was excellent. Overall great experience thus far!
The gates were often out of order, and even when they worked there was no fence beside the gates. The noise from the apartment above was horrible. I complained many times and nothing was ever done about it.People did not keep their dogs leashed, and they were not good at picking up after them. My dog was attacked in the dog park and nothing was ever done to help track down the owner of the other dog.The main reason for the 1 star review is that if you give them any amount as a deposit - go ahead and write it off. When I turned in the keys, they didnt do a walk thru. I was told the $125 cleaning fee would cover cleaning. When you move out they take up the carpet. They take up the carpet regardless of how the carpet looks. Then they charge you to replace the carpet. There were no visible stains on the carpet in my apartment, but some pet stains were found on the backside of the carpet after it was removed on the living room and one bedroom carpet. Two of the bedrooms were kept closed because they were used for storage. The way the apartment is divided you can replace the carpet in one room without having to replace it all. So I was charged for replacing carpet in the entire apartment.I would advise you to avoid this place, unless you like giving people vast sums of money
Not even considered my out of control situation while moving out. The response from the community manager is super slow after i moved out of the appartments.
This place has lot of cockroaches and dog poops around and worst management. We stayed here almost more then 3 years but when we leaving they charged a lot. I strongly recommend take this as last option in selecting apartments.
Overall a very nice community and excellent location. Close to shopping, groceries, restaurants, and the mall. A minute away from Windward and 400, great commute area. Some issues with the maintenance team; they dont seem to put in the effort to actually fix anything. Had them come out to look at my heater and arrived home with the compartment door hanging off the wall and a note saying Nothing wrong, work completed. All it needed was a screw they forgot to put back in, but it was rather irritating. Management was quick to fix the issue, but Im slight leery about submitting any more maintenance requests.
The leasing office is super crappy about responding back to emails. Im getting no discount even for the fat that Im living in the building where half of it burned down and the fact that the construction workers make noise like never before. The rent policy states that through 9AM-9PM its quiet time but thats false bc Im hearing all this banging and construction going on by 7:30AM. Its pathetic. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
Nice apartment complex. Rent is expensive but really nice
I am living to this great place and recommend to everyone while searching for a apartment. Its my pleasure offer 4 Star just for team (regular, organised, kind and friendly manager and staff), beautiful and nice place.BUTTT the worst things for not a star, you must see smokers every where and every time, so in your apartment can not open windows or its not possible for taking a sit on patio, because all the times you have awful cigarette smell and can not complain for it just because Camdens rules let to people smoke cigarette every places, especially in to the patio unfortunately. Another things is petss excrement on sods that have to see sometimes.IF Camden have some rules for cigarette and smokers, Installing cameras to monitor the area outside apartments, its a wonderful and fabulous place for catch 5 or more stars.
I am confused by the negative reviews as the complex and staff here are amazing. My apartment is gorgeous and maintenance was great the 1 time I needed them. I dont know all the leasing staff because ive never had an issue but when I first signed my lease I dealt with Edwina and Katherine who are the sweetest people on earth. I feel very safe and complex is maintained very well. My only issue is being stuck paying for cable when I dont own a TV or care to watch cable shows online. My lease is up soon and im preparing for a steep rent increase which I heard from my awesome neighbors which will sadly price me out of this community forcing me to move somewhere a little more affordable. As far as apartment living, Camden Deerfield is a dream to live in and I have recommended it to co-workers at Fiserv, my social networks and familes at my daughter’s high school. This is an honest review of a happy resident that i hope helps someone in making a critical decision of where they choose to live. Not all Alpharetta apartments are nice, but this is a safe bet.
I am giving 2 stars to notify that though staying in this apartment complex was good but i didnt like that the management forces you to pay charges for internet and t.v cable..Which should not be mandatory but should be left on the residents...The amount they charge is very high aprox $100 ..
When I moved to Alpharetta three months ago, I visited many apartment communities, and I know I made the right choice. This is one of the best communities in Alpharetta! The property is beautiful, clean, and the renovations give the apartment a nice refined look. The location of the community is wonderful, convenient to everything I need: groceries, entertainment, restaurants, etc.The office staff, Kristine, Asha, Katie, and Lindsay are refreshingly attentive and helpful. Usually, when there are four office staff, it ends up that one of them isnt as nice and helpful as the others. It is absolutely amazing that all four of them are so humble and friendly, that it would be very hard to choose the nicest. The staff here is the best we have ever seen! The maintenance guys are very professional and friendly. Im happy to say that all service requests have been attended to promptly and fixed.Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience here at Camden.
I have been resident here for three months now and I love this place! They have events and gathering going on. And the community is right around the corner of Kohls, Walmart, Kroger and very near to Windward Pky which is the heart of so many different restaurants, banks, gas stations and most of my favorite- we have three Starbucks near by and has great commute to near by companies. Great location and great maintenance. Walkways available for people who love to walk, jog or run and a 24/7 fitness center for people who love to workout. And its gated community :)
My family and I recently relocated to Camden Deerfield in Alpharetta. We previously resided in Camden Phipps in Buckhead prior to our 2 year stint in Miami. Its an affluent and diverse community which which is exactly what we were expecting. The amenities here are good and the grounds are well kept. The staff here is quite friendly and have a thorough understanding of hospitality. We are in a townhome with an attached garage and a great floorplan. Premium finishes and a good amount of natural light make coming home a delightful experience.Theres a variety of restaurants and local shopping all well within reach. We are also few exits from the city when we feel like stretching out, and if we head north on 400 were minutes from the premium outlets. Im a native New Yorker who expects everything now, and living here, I want for nothing. The high school (Cambridge) is only a few years old. Our teenaged daughter loves it and you know how difficult they can be to please. If you appreciate in town accessibility and desire suburban quality of life, I strongly suggest you put Camden Deerfield at the top of your list.
Deerfield Apts. are by far the worst apts. I have ever lived in. After signing the lease be prepared for a rude awakening. The staff in the office is as phony as phony gets and they try to undermine you, especially the property manager Karen. She couldnt care less about the property! There is a new younger girl in the office who was the only one who did her job well, pleasant and was rude/attitude free. If you email the manager about an issue or concern you will be ignored. The staff doesnt like children at all. They will complain if your child is seen riding a bike or playing outside and they actually get confrontational with kids. The apts. are centipede, termite, spider and bug infested. Their pest control Co. was useless. Once, I called the office @ 9:00 am because there were SNAKES living under the cracks by my front door! The lady in the office Lisa actually said “are you sure they’re not worms?” It took till about 5:30pm for the manager to actually send the maintenance supervisor to see if it was true. He came and looked under got on his radio and told the manager Karen that there were snakes under the cracks. She actually came 10 minutes later to see for herself. Would a resident make something like that up??? So, at almost 6pm is when they attempted to do something about it. The apts. are poorly constructed. The landscaping around certain apts. like mine was awful! There are many dogs on this property and many residents that do not pick up after them so you would have to be extremely careful when walking though the grass. The manager Karen once told a little boy in the breezeway next to me not to play outside go home and play in your house! I actually heard her one day tell the same little boy with a nasty attitude “you’re not running after that cat, are you?” The dumpster is always disgusting with furniture and mattresses that block its’ entrance. My breezeway lights were always without covers and the lights the majority of the time were out. When coming to my apt. at night it was pitch black. I found that to be a huge safety hazard in which the office could not care less! The fitness center is so tiny and the pool was always filthy! They never supervised the pool area. I witnessed kids throwing up in the water and finding poop in it on multiple occasions and would have to leave the pool!!! Many times groups of guys would come into the pool area and dive in with their work clothes and jeans on. The maintenance staff has horrendous dispositions. They “try” to intimidate the residents. When they came to do any little work order, they entered your apt. without greeting you and with a huge attitude like you were bothering them when in reality they were doing their job and poorly at that. If you put in a request to the office to be present when maintenance does a work order in your home the staff does not comply and maintenance will enter when you are not home. When placing a work order it takes days to get any little thing done! At times, it would take a 3rd call to the office to finally have a work order done. It is rare when calling the office that someone actually picks up. Don’t bother to leave a message because they don’t check their messages. If you mention you left a message they will claim they never got it! It was the typical MO. Plus their answering system many times would kick you out and say this service is not available at this time, please try again later! Though it is a gated community, the gates are always left open throughout the whole day, every day except on Saturdays and Sundays. In advance, at the end of your lease to be prepared for a $200+ increase! Living here was far from the LIVNG EXCELLENCE they stand behind. Welcome to Camden Deerfield!
So far everything is good.
My original review was accidental. My apologies.
