They accommodated 3 mani and pedi at the last minute and were great about it. Very grateful!

DO NOT RECOMMEND.Not a great experience. They’re lumpy, not uniform and just plain awful. I repeatedly tried to tell the woman what I wanted (stiletto) and this is what I got. She also cut me (in a few places) and laughed it off. She also started filing AFTER they were all polished and top coat on??? She made them way too thin and completely filed off my natural nail on some fingers and I’m in so much pain honestly. I didn’t want gel and they gave me gel anyway. I went with my sister and she just got a gel manicure, half of her nails aren’t even completely covered. Half of her one nail isn’t even painted! Awful, horrible, PAINFUL, and no one listens or cares what you want or if there’s an issue. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Pedicure felt amazing! But paint job was sloppy and rushed. I had more polish on my skin than my toe nails. She didnt even do a 2nd coat. I had to come home and paint my own toes. I pretty much paid for a foot massage instead of a pedicure

Horrible! Simple manicure came with infection, bad nail polish all over cuticles and uneven shape. We were staying in a hotel near by and I didnt get a usual manicure in NYC before travel, so decided to go to this place while kids were in science center. Salon looked wonderful. Great environment so I was excited to try it. First red flag was small selection of Esse and Opi colors (in NYC even small salon has selection 4 times as big). Colors were also kind of thick... but I didnt have much choice. I had short nails and needed a simple square shape (hard to screw up - I thought). I had to correct nail tech few times as she was filing my nails as she couldnt get shape right. She also kept filing into my skin (ouch). Cuticles were not cut properly or fully. Nail polish was applied on top of cuticles and in very thick coats. And the next day I got an infection on middle finger cuticle :( Never had one in so many years in NYC salons (even small shady salons). Maybe PA standards are different for Nail Services, but this was completely horrible work based on my standards (see pictures)

Years ago when I returned from a training exercise in the Denali my Wife convinced me to go to a spa. My first experience was great. I have been going to different places hoping for that same sensation. Oddly it wasnt until I returned home that I received it again. Susan is the best conversationalist and a great masseur I always leave my experiences with her revitalized and ready for my day. The place is soothing and serene and the staff is very accommodating. Love, love, love this place.

I think most places strive to do things right, however errors are made. What stands out most is what a place does to make things right. I called to let them know that the dip manicure I had done didnt last a week. They asked me to come in and redid my entire dip manicure for free and I feel confident that this will last the 3-4 weeks it should. I will be back as a steady customer!

I had been going to this place, and not going to lie they give a nice manicure. But yesterday my pedicurist asked me if I was pregnant and pointed at my belly. Which obviously Im not. I may not be as thin as Id like, but I cant believe she made that assumption and said something no less. Im obviously burning the dress I wore yesterday and I will never go back there again. So be careful if you weigh more than 115 pounds and go there unless you want a rude awakening by the staff!

Love this salon. Best in the valley! Great pedicures and manicures. Staff is professional and accommodating. They hold conversations and try their best to satisfy the customer. ESPECIALLY Linda! Whoever commented about her at the bottom has to be a miserable and difficult customer! Linda is always friendly and always helps me choose my colors and when it gets busy she always gets me back to soak my feet, which I love to do, she always greets customers as they walk in and she always makes sure they get exactly what they want and need. Try being friendly once in a while ANNA. Youll be surprised how people treat you in return! Big deal. You had to wait. Have you ever been to a doctors office? Lighten up! The fact that you took time out of your day to put such a sweet person on blast in Google reviews, using her name and all, makes you a really pathetic human being. Being in the customer service field myself, I can understand how difficult and nutty customers can be! As far as the woman that staff asked if she was pregnant, burn your dress get over it! Some of these reviews are probably so exaggerated and some of you are such negative miserable people. I love this salon and will enjoy it for years to come! Despite all the idiotic reviews, I will stand up for these ladies and this salon. My friends and family love them as well! Im sure we are not the only ones who love these wonderful ladies! Unique Nails, dont pay attention to the negativity and complaints from the miserable. Thank you for all the wonderful experiences through the years!

I really dont write reviews, but I had a very annoying experience here and wanted to share. I scheduled an appointment for a gel manicure, and looking back, I could have done a better job myself. The woman doing my nails shaped them poorly -- each nail was a different length and shape and she created jagged edges and hangnails as a result. She tried to file them off, which just made it worse. The gel itself peeled in layers a few days later. My appointment felt extremely rushed -- in and out in 15-20 minutes -- and during the appointment, the nail tech kept asking if I brought cash for a tip and that I needed to go to an ATM to get cash. I ended up leaving a tip on the card I paid with, but the nail tech kept pressuring me into getting cash. It was so weird. I had heard great reviews about this place, but it was such a waste of time.

Went for the first time today for dip gel, I had Lisa. Lisa was super professional, friendly & made sure I was happy with the shape and color every step of the way. She kept asking me if there was anything she needed to fix, which I really appreciated. The place is really clean & other staff seemed friendly. I called ahead to put my name in & when I got there they got me right in.

I called before they opened to make an appointment and they called me back exactly at 9:30 (when they opened). I was able to be seen for a pedicure right away. The woman working on me was just as quiet as I am (I really am not a talker so this was PERFECT) and she did a great job. She took her time with the massage, and the hot oil she used made my feet soooo soft!! I am super ticklish so she tried her best to be gentle. The massage chair was an added plus - I loved it. The place is also very clean and well-kept. At 10am on a Saturday morning it was filled but still quiet and not too hectic. I am definitely coming back. 10/10 I definitely recommend. Thank you so much ladies!!

Took me back quickly, had Ty- she was kind and attentive, asked me for feedback, made sure I was getting exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be back! My nails will look great for my brothers wedding!

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE THERE. It is $10 for waxing and she did a very very poor job. I am a student from Muhlenberg College so I thought it would be a good idea to find a place around town to do my eyebrows and I was extremely disappointed. Worst experience. Their facilities are nice and clean but the skill is not there.

I had a gel manicure done last Thursday it cost $30 I have a natural light paint color done. Five days after two of the nails chipped. Now Thursday seven days after the manicure two of the nails have completely peeled off and look awful. I wear gloves when I wash dishes I am definitely not hard on my nails or hands I don’t wash my hands more than your average person. When I called to Complain I was told I could make an appointment to come in and get those two nails fixed. Unfortunately I paid to have a babysitter come to do something special for myself just to get my nails done in the first place and this is not an option to get to nails fixed. I would not recommend this place for a gel manicure. So annoyed that I spent the money!

Unique Nails is my favorite place to get a pedicure. I have been a customer since 2008. The staff is courteous, professional, and very welcoming.

I will say that the salon was clean and most of the staff friendly. Im traveling in the area for work. I didnt have an appointment and was told the wait was 10 minutes. 20 minutes go by and someone said it will be another 20 minutes. Why not just be honest about the wait in the first place?Got the dip powder which they charged me $45 for. 2 days after I got it done the gel coat is peeling off. I dont think gel coating is that great on the powder dip. I would not recommend this place for powder dip. They need to use better products like Kiara Sky or OPI systems if they are going to charge $45. Plus, they charged me for soaking off the powder I had on. Never heard of this before at a salon.

This is the ONLY nail salon I will ever go to. They remember me and are always very nice each time I go there no matter what service I get. I have never witnessed them overlook customers in their salon. As soon as you walk in there is a book that you sign in. There is no way they can miss you or skip you. No need to make an appointment but you can if you want to be in and out. The wait is not long, they usually have more than 8 girls there at any given time. They give an excellent pedi & mani, and I get waxed there too. The prices are decent and it doesnt have a strong odor of acrylic as most do. I highly recommend Unique Nails. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great place for a mani or pedi. I really love that it doesnt smell overwhelmingly like chemicals as some salons do. Sometimes those smells give me a headache, it is really minimized here in comparison to other places. I think there prices are reasonable, they have different levels of pedicures. You can get the basic one (I think for $25 or $30) or splurge for a $40 one with hot wax and all the trimmings. Highly recommend.

Not very happy at all. i went in exactly 7 days ago and my acrylic nails already look horrible. past acrylics i have had, lasted me about three weeks... i dont even think this one will last me till the end of this week. you can already see it significantly lifting in the corner. also, i asked for her to make them shorter and she just laughed at me and brushed it off. i looked like i had claws on my fingers. thank god i have a dremel i was able to file them down myself. not happy with my nails and i probably wont go back there to get them done.

I love Unique nails!... It is a little more pricey than your average nail salon but its no average salon. The women do the best pedicure/foot massage/perefin wax dip for only $35.00.... I dont understand why everyone is complaining about having to wait either. Make an appointment and you wont have that problem. Duh!

I went here for the first time a week and 1 day ago (6-11-16) to get a gel pedicure and a full set in gel. I will not be going back. The service was okay they were accommodating and took me right away without having to make an appt that was the only plus as for the QUALITY of the nails not so good. My pedicure started lifting after 3 days and two toes the polish came completely off 5 days later and I get many gel pedicures I know thats not supposed to happen and my nails started lifting on the side friday after a week and one popped off Saturday and another one broke today (Sunday). I definitely know thats not supposed to happen there product is definitely not a good quality I will not be going back.They lady that did my eyebrows did them well but the chair could use some cleanliness.

So professional, staff wears uniforms and are very polite. Facility is extremely clean.

Not impressed at all! I had the fastest pedicure of my life 25 mins tops...my feet were hardly in the water for more then 5 or so mins. The women was rude, but I wrote off her abruptness and as the language barrier. I tipped her 20 percent, she didnt even say thank you. Never going back again.

No one was at the front desk to greet me. I sat for over 20 minutes and no one came to the front. The ladies doing nails just stared at me and no one said anything.

Horrible place to go. They did a horrible job on my daughters nails.

My friend and I went and both were displeased. They cut my finger and my friends finger (we both had different ladies so the fact that 2 of the manicurists cut a client is unacceptable). The ladies also did terrible jobs. Both of us got acrylic nails and my friend had TWO of her ACRYLIC nails break. Both of ours have started lifting. And my nails started chipping.

Ive used Unique as my go to when I want a pedi or my nails done since they first opened and I will tell you the quality has slipped significantly. While the pedicure service is still good (only reason I gave them 2 stars) the $60 pink and white set hasnt even lasted 5 full days. Two nails have popped off...without me even feeling it. Products are sub par and Im beyond disappointed. First one happened on the 4th day of having them and I got it fixed without issue now, just day later, the second one popped off. I have no idea when it happened bc I didnt feel it! These things should be like concrete on my nails. What a waste of money...

My fiancée got her nails done here and the service was fast and the manicure came out very nice. The staff were friendly to my young son and me in the waiting area.
