It doesnt make sense why i cant use my debit card at the Airport location. I had more than enough money on my debit card to cover my rental and only had about $400 dollars on my credit card. I cant begin to tell you the trouble I went through before I could rent a vehicle. Lets just say I had a scheduled pick up of 9am and didnt leave the airport until about 10:45am!Enterprise needs to change their policy on not accepting debit card usage at the Airport location.
Renter beware: make sure you read the fine print (that isnt available until you get to the counter of course). They will charge you a 300 dollar deposit on top of 20 percent of your total rental costs and the only form of payment is a credit card that has to accommodate the whole amount you thought was just the daily rental, taxes, and fees.
Best experience ever! We received a great vehicle, better than expected. Check in was super quick and easy. Will be renting again from here next year.
It was disappointing. I payed online after reservation, which yes I was approved for. I then payed a Lyft to the airport. Upon presenting my information I was told I could not rent the vehicle though I payed for, reason I needed to pay for with a credit card! And NOT a debit card. To then having to pay an other $50!!!!!!!!! for Lyft back.

Where do I even begin? The front counter people are rude, the multiple cars I checked smell like an ashtray, they are beat-up with high mileage. When I suggested that I wanted something that didnt have a chain smoker smell, here came the rude staff who seemed angry to even be there. News flash - theres alot of jobs out there that probably are paying more, why are you working customer service with such a bad attitude? Stay far far away from this enterprise and I rent alot of cars even though covid I still was renting cars for my job and this was the absolutely the worst experience and fleet out of the whole franchise.
Paid for a rental reservation online and paid. Then I was called from the actual rental location a few minutes later saying that the vehicle was actually not available and nothing else was available but they would give me a call as soon as anything came in. I paid for a Lyft there anyways and they had numerous rentals available when I got there, the price seemed a significant amount more in person but I needed the rental so I said okay. Then they say they cant verify my address and wont rent me the vehicle. I had the money, a license, numerous debit/credit cards for further ID verification. Trash.

To start off, I am a fan of Enterprise and would call them a five star company. But, my last rental experience ended good but started terrible. The first car I was given was a brand new Kia X5 with less than 600 miles. It has a dent in the rear fender, three low tires as an automatic alarm upon starting the car, a strange smell which seemed to be someone covering up smoking pot in the car and used napkins along with other personal belongings from the previous driver in the glove box I found when looking for an ice scraper which wasnt in the car. I can tolerate the tires because its an easy fix at a gas station, the dent was existing so it wasnt my fault but I had to notify them because the paperwork said no dents, the smell was annoying but again as long as they dont blame me I can deal with it, but the unclean glove box was a bit too much with the used napkins. The lady who helped me when I returned the car the next day was more than great and she took care of me so that is the three stars, but I would have dropped the Stars to zero based on the first car if not for her.

As a long standing customer I usually do not have any problems with enterprise, but this go around I have to say was the worst experience I ever had . After traveling 18 hrs the customer service rep tells me my real ID is fake and made me jump through many hoops to get my rental. She refused to take my real ID to then take an expired Florida Dr license then to tell me that my rate will go up this was after I was forced to purchase a flight leaving the airport because of some ridiculous rule that you need a flight to rent a car as a military member who travels often this was the biggest headache I’ve ever had with enterprise

So when I showed up to the LVI Airport service center I noticed there were 3 sections of service. One for one car rental business another section for another rental business and then at the end...one for enterprise. So another person and I got into what we believed to be the line for Enterprise...or so we thought. There was another long line but it was set infront of one of the other neighboring rental businesses. We must have stood there for about 10min all the while these other customers were being waited on, some of which had entered their line after we got in ours. The other person in my same line spoke up and asked if anyone was here working for Enterprise? He was given a response of there is only one line for all three rental businesses. We both looked at each other and thought, are we invisible to you? So now I moved over to the one line as the other person got so upset that he went outside to cool off a bit. Now I finally got my car, it was a large SUV. I did the walk around and looked inside, everything seemed to be on the up and up. I proceeded to head to my best friends bday dinner, then we all were going to go about n hour and a half away to do a haunt for his bday. This was the reason for the rental. As we were driving he noticed how bad the brakes were because you could hear them. Plus at high speeds (highway) as I was breaking there was a big shimmy. At this point I couldnt do anything because we were already halfway there not to mention it was already past their closing time. So we had to complete out trip. Once I got back I decided to call the 1800 customer service number. The person I spoke to was really accomdating and gave me 1/2 back on my rental. So then about a week later the initial deposit was still on my credit card as a pending charge, reducing my avail balance. I actually even received the reimbursement for half my rental by this point already, I called the 1800 customer service number again to ask questions. I was told the the LVI Airport service center where I initially rented the vehicle had to release the funds and close my rental out......it was already almost 7days after my initial rental. Plus the 800 customer service rep said there was nothing she could do. So I called the LVI Airport center and asked them to release the funds and close out my rental. They said my rental was closed out and they only show what I actually paid. They did not see my deposit. They blamed it on my CC company. Ugh....needless to say it came off 3days later. This was not the first nor second time an experience with the quality of their vehicles in my area as well as the local representatives incompetence played a factor in my rental. Problem is, they are the largest rental place near me that provides locations close to where I live. Sucks, but good luck to you all if you live in the Lehigh Valley Area in PA.

Normally we dont have a problem with the cars. But when we got our car this trip and got to a stop we noticed that inside of the car under the seats where empty bottles and tissues. Was highly disappointed in seeing this with all going on right now. We didnt touch it by anymeans but did let them know when we returned the car about it. At Allentown Pa airport..
Minus the absence of my first rental reservation thereafter everything was a nightmare. Luckily I was able to drive 100 miles in the opposite direction to Lehigh Valley airport to secure a one way rental so that I could catch 6:30 am flight out of New Jersey. Thank God I supposedly made my initial reservation a day ahead.

Extremely easy process to rent a vehicle from this company. Took about 3 minutes at the airport to receive the keys for the truck I rented(2020 Silverado). The online pre-form is what made this process so expedited. Returning the vehicle was very simple. Fill the tank (or prepay for a full tank before you rent the vehicle) and pull into the return line, employee approached as soon as I pulled in and asked how my experience was. Allowed me plenty of time to ensure I left nothing in the truck and I was on my way. Didnt have to return to the desk or anything, just straight to my flight. 5 out of 5 would recommend. Plus they gave me a military discount.Cheers

The Pickup was clean but I got Ripped off on the Fuel. The gauge was in the middle of the Full Line. However when I Filled up the tank when the pump handle clicked off the gauge was nearly 2 needle widths past Full!!!I always observe things. I noted that when I got the vehicle the average mpg was 13.8 with a range of 324 miles. So that means there was approximately 23.47 Gallons in a gallon tank. I got Ripped Off for about 2.25 gallons. I hate being Nickled and Dimed. Next time I rent from Enterprise I’m going to the closest Gas Station and fill it Myself! So I have Proof!
The Enterprise representatives were very polite and efficient, however the interior of the car was disgusting. Something had been spilled down the interior of the door. There were food pieces and crumbs on the seats. Sticky residue on the dash from somebody eating and touching. Normally I would have pointed this out and requested a clean vehicle, however my flight was delayed and I needed to get to my appointment.
I absolutely love renting from this location! Pick up & drop off of rental car is super easy & all of the staff is exceptionally friendly as well as helpful! I especially want to thank Michael & all of the lovely ladies who assisted me, (sorry I’m not great at remembering names). I was boarding my plane back to Pensacola last week & immediately felt sick when I realized I left a gift my husband had gotten for me in the rental car. Thank god this amazing team helped locate as well as return my husbands’ gift to me! I am so grateful for their amazing service & look forward to renting from them on my future travels up North! Thanks again for a job well done!
Have rented from Enterprise for years, the customer service has always been top notch, however recently rented an SUV in Pennsylvania for the week to find the vehicle was brand new but had a filthy interior from the previous renters. Looks as if the vehicle was immediately returned to service before being thoroughly cleaned. Hope this was just an isolated incident and still plan to rent from Enterprise in the future.
Love Enterprise in general. Their cars are always excellent. However in my last experience renting, it appears that local management did a terrible job in planning for an inrush of arrivals at the airport in Allentown PA. There were 8 people lined up to rent cars and only one poor clerk to assist them. He was capable, but one shouild not have to wait 40 minutes in line to get a car

I was given the keys for a Chevy Impala. It was to be parked in slot 80 but was not. After walking the lot and setting off the alarm, I located it in slot 57??? Had it not been raining it may not have been so bad. Not one person was around the lot to assist or even question what vehicle I was taking.It just gets better. The car was marked as new (only 6300 miles) with a full tank of gas and no marks, dents or other issues. The car was not clean, had about 7/8 tank of gas. There were minor dents on the right front fender and the rear fender as well as scratches on both doors of the car. And the interior was not clean with one cup holder in the back seat having fluid in the bottom. I think you can get the picture.Upon returning the vehicle, there were two guys who were parking vehicles but neither would acknowledge me or offer any assistance. I double parked the car, left the keys on the seat and headed for the counter. Josh was the counter person who I also worked with on the Friday pickup. He was not happy with the lack of support of the cleaning guys and that they could not even park the car where it was supposed to be.Thank you Josh for allowing me to vent over a very disappointing rental experience.
We have always had good service and rates with Enterprise in the past but not this time. To be transparent, we did get a $50 credit as wrong car type which wasnt accurate. It was a terrible car. When we approached it we immediately noticed the 2 x 5 or so residues on the doors on both sides where the doors had been taped shut (maybe in transit) and the passenger side back hubcap was missing, as well as several visible dents in the car. We took pictures and my husband went back inside to talk to attendant who told him that Enterprise bought a bunch of those in bulk. So, my thought was fix them up before you send them out. She offered no change but gave us a paper with her initials showing the missing hubcap.We were on the road about 30 minutes when we discovered that when you attempted to set the cruise control that the horn would blow. That was certainly a nuisance and continuedthroughout trip. When we got to our resort about an hour away, when my husband opened his door, he noticed the rubber lining around the car window was not in place where it should be.Every time I got in that car for 8 days I had to see that tape residue, hear that horn blow when trying to use cruise, see the missing hubcap, and think how disappointed I was in Ennterprise. Because of the credit and their offer of sorry we will try them again. I hope it is better next time around.

The whole process was very easy. The upgrade was nice. My only beef is that the vehicle smelled a bit like someone had smoked in it and the inside of the windshield was somewhat dirty.
We needed a rental car for a last minute trip to attend a funeral and the process of renting, pick up and return was quick and easy from the airport! The car itself was excellent and our overall experience very positive!
I had a great experience with the rental car staff here. When I was unable to return a rental on time because of a snowstorm the staff worked with me to make sure that I was not charged for an extra day! This was a great costumer service experience.

Because of airline changes, I was very late picking up my rental car from Allentown, PA and was concerned my reservation might have been canceled. However, I was pleased to learn my reservation was still in tact 7 hours later and I was given an upgrade! Perfect after a terrible day of flying! The whole process was pleasant. My only complaint it seems like a prior customer had smoke in car. They did good by us. Besides that I would of given it a 5 🌟 rating.
We reserved our vehicle on line over a month in advance. When we arrived, the vehicle was not available. We were given a lesser quality vehicle for a more expensive price. It was dirty both inside and out, with tissues and water bottles under the seats. I went back to the desk to let the person know, and was told she would talk to the manager and see what they could do. When we returned the vehicle, I again told the person my issues and was told someone would contact me. I have received no communication from anyone or discount for my ental and the problems. We have consistently rented from Hertz for years but they did not have a vehicle available so we tried Enterprise. It has now been a month with no contact from anyone, or refund of any kind. I am very disappointed in the customer service from this organization.
Waited 45 minutes to be helped as only one agent on the counter on a busy Labor Day. Agent was apologetic but I told him it wasnt his fault, where was the manager that scheduled the work force? And if some one called off where was the manager to step in or get more help? As I waited I took notice of the other counters processing customers in a timely fashion. My company uses Enterprise exclusively but if this continues we can easily change.
Horrible business practice. I’ll try to keep this as brief as possible. My car needed warranty repairs so I rented a vehicle for one day, then the days following, the car dealer was to pick up the tab for the rental. I took out the insurance on my one day rental at my expense. Then I went in the following day to have the billing switched over to the car dealer. Well two weeks later I get a call saying they won’t cover the insurance and I’m responsible for over $325 to cover the insurance. Shouldn’t this have been explained to me when the billing got switched? Shouldn’t I have to authorize something like this? When I called enterprise to have it explained to me, I was basically told “too bad. You can come in and cancel the insurance but you have to pay for it up to this date”. Really? Even though I was NEVER told about it? Terrible communication and customer service. Borderline scam.

I called Enterprise to confirm that there would be a representative available to meet my flight which was arriving late. I was assured that there would be someone there. When I arrived, the desk was deserted and there was no sign or indication of what to do. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I have used Enterprise for years and I also reserved a sedan. When I was finally able to get my rental at the other rental desk (I think it was National), I wound up getting an SUV. The other time I arrived in Allentown, there were no cars available even though I had reserved a car.Poor Customer Service and a very poor experience. I am giving serious thought to reserving in the future with National or Alamo.
I have an allergy to cigarette smoke. I had a total of 3 Enterprise vehicles in 4 days due to each vehicle having visible ash throughout the vehicle. When I used the heater, cigarette smell was extremely strong. I asked the representative at Enterprise to swap vehicles due to the strong odor of cigarette smoke. He assured me each time that the issue wont occur again. Unfortunately the last vehicle I was given was the worst. I just sucked it up and kept the vehicle because I was tired of dealing with representatives at the office. I did contact corporate and was assured that I would be switched out a fourth time with a clean vehicle. I didnt hear from corporate for over a week. I finally heard from corporate the day after I returned my vehicle. The regional manager gave me is personal phone number and told me to call him next time Im renting a vehicle in the area...
Unprofessional and a terrible rental agency. I walked up to the counter and the associate was sitting on his phone. I reserved a rental car online and gave them my debit card information. I tried calling them 4 times in the past 2 days, and left a voicemail each time. They never answered or called me back. I wanted to verify that I had everything I needed to get a rental.So instead of getting to ask them if my reservation was good-to-go, I just had to show up in person for my reservation. I was trying to take a vacation in Myrtle Beach this week. When I went to pay, they informed me that I needed a credit card and they wouldnt accept my debit card.Thanks for wasting my time, Enterprise. Ill make sure none of my friends or family ever uses your service. I am highly disappointed in the misinformation and unprofessional approach to car rentals.
The person was not especially friendly, wanted to upgrade the car for increased cost. I had to walk in back of the airport, and around a building to find my car and inspected it my self and learn how to figure out the lights were not on automatic, the transmission moved too easily and I had to check on the dash board what gear I was in on the display. Otherwise the mileage was good, and there was some one at the parking area when I returned the car. Signage was poor for me to find out where to take the car to turn it in.
Enterprise is always my go to Car Rental agency. They always treat you very well and give you free upgrades from time to time. I ended up getting upgraded from a compact to a premium Nissan Maxima. Super fun to drive and had all the tech goodies that you would expect. Enterprise is top notch in my book.

So I rented from them in January and again in February. Both times I used my debit card. All they asked for was my debit card and drivers license. Great! 350.00 deposit because it is a dedit card. No problem! Wonderful service! I go today with my teen daughter in tow looking forward to a great day at the beach and NO! They tell me I need a utility bill and a pay stub. When asked when this policy went into effect she tells me that has always been the policy. I asked for the manager who was standing right there and asked him how this could happen on 2 separate occasions and he says new employees well there were 3 to 4 employees there each and every time right next to each other. You mean to tell me not 1 of them caught this. Needless to say i did not drive back home 45 minutes to get the documentation I needed. My advice to you mr manager. Train your damn employees better so they do not disappoint and misinform customers in the future
Horrible horrible horrible we rent a car from 3311 airport road the person that help us was great and eventhough the price was expensive we didnt have no problem paying but the next day we change to budget because it was 70 cheaper well let me tell u the nightmare start. We drop our car at enterprise at this location and spoke to several people who told us that eventhough we drop the car at their location we have to go to the airport and let them know that we drop the car. My question is why you guys didnt tell us that yesterday when we drop the truck we came here for a burn surgery not to be going around enterprise so you guys can inform each other that people drop vehicles I hope nobody rents from enterprise ever again.

We rent from Enterprise all the time. Their customer service is usually outstanding! This review would have been 5 stars if the folks running the ABE Enterprise counter had answered the phone. I was having an emergency and needed their help.
I called today and made a reservation to pick a car up from the Airport Rd location. I spoke with Jordan. I drive for Werner Enterprises and I was coming in off of the road to go home for home time. I needed to leave my truck at the terminal to have work done on it. I asked Jordan can I use my debit card, he assured me I could. He just said Ill be charged an extra twenty percent until I dropped the car off and theyll refund me the twenty percent back. I took a cab to the airport a little after nine, just to get there to be told none of the airport locations take debit card unless youre coming off of a flight. I spent altogether one hundred and thirteen dollars round trip in the taxi. Im still wondering why Mr. Jordan does not know the policy of using debit cards where he works. I use enterprise every month when I come home off of the road. I will be making a formal complaint tomorrow morning with the powers that be, if Im not compensated I will never use enterprise again and I will be letting the company I work for know what happened. They use enterprise very often for the drivers that need rentals.
Rented F150 for a trip to Virgina. The truck was a little dirty on the inside some mud on the doorsteps otherwise the truck was great and the personal at the ABE enterprise desk were very helpful.

We recently flew into Allentown/Bethlehem Airport and we rented a car from Enterprise. Joseph helped us that day and I can only describe him as professional, interested in our needs, and very helpful in answering our questions. My only negative comment has nothing to do with Enterprise. It is a long walk from the car drop off place to the rental counter...OK in nice weather but lousy when the weather turns bad. It is because of our experience with Joseph that we will use Enterprise for our future rental needs.

I was not happy with this rental. The inside of the windshield and front windows looked like a dog had been licking the windows and the kids were finger painting in the mess.Additionally, this Nissan had sticky tape residue (about 2 by 6) on every door and the trunk. Disgusting !!!!I stopped at an Enterprise store to get the sticky residue off and they refused. They said all Nissan cars are like that and that they are not allowed to clean the mess off.Im not sure if I will use Enterprise again after this experience - I definitely will never accept a Nissan again.Not a happy camper!

The sales assistant did not attend to me as he should have. I went in to rent a car, and he told me there was none available. So I left and as I was leaving a friend of mine was coming in to rent a car, and she said to me that the same sale man told her that there was one available. I had a reservation, and she did not. Not sure what that was about but I was disappointed in him. Leaves a bad taste.

The rental experience did not start out as smoothly as we were expecting but the branch manager went above and beyond to make sure we were able to have everything we needed.
