No wait time, very strict with their scheduling. You are in and out. This was my 1st appt. ever getting waxed because I usually do my own at home but for this vacation I wanted to see the difference. I was scheduling with LaLa and she was very nice, professional, and fast. So I will definitely be back to see her. They also offer 50% off your 1st visit depending on the service if your a 1st time client.

Wow. First time at this location and I’m amazed at my experience! Getting a brazilian from a new shop can be nerve-wracking, but Kacy was an angel. Gentle, informative, and so kind to me. Kacy was professional, and even a little goofy to keep my spirits up. Will definitely be coming back for her!

I’m not usually one to leave but my experience at EWC was amazing. The front counter staff was super nice and helped calm my nerves. This was my very first time getting waxed. I got waxed by Kacy and she was absolutely amazing and truly loves what she does. She was nice and super informative and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her talking to me helped not focus on the slight pain from the wax. I’d definitely would recommend going here !

This location is not my home location nor is it my preferred due to it being a bit further from my house. This location does have amazing waxers I use when I can not get in at my preferred location. Unfortunately the manager, who also works the front desk, Rachel Scribner, has terrible energy and a very bad attitude. There were literally no discrepancies until my check out when I encountered Rachel. She was very discriminatory in her approach I guess she thought I wasn’t going to pay for my service just because I asked about my wax passes? Not sure the problem with her but my experience was very hostile with her and for that I will never visit this location again!

I went to the European Wax Center for the first time and everyone was helpful and nice! I got my eyebrows waxed by Savannah and she was the sweetest most humble person! She was very quick and efficient with my service but also personable and very pleasant! I would recommend this wax center and Savannah specifically to do your services! I will be back!

I always have a wonderful experience here. My favorite specialist is Savannah, but the other specialists are great as well. She holds amazing conversations that make you forget you are even getting waxed! 10/10 would recommend!

I was on time to my appointment and everybody was cheerful so I was anticipating a good clean eyebrow wax but that was not the case ....... the wax worker was definitely not a specialist. She dropped wax in two of my locs and my eyebrows were uneven. There were hairless patches left in my eyebrow. Overall I am extremely disappointed in this place and I will not be going back. Be warned

Waxer was late and was texting on her phone the entire time! I usually go to Pentagon City which I love but my waxing specialist was unavailable. I took my friend for her first wax and it was such an awful experience! Her specialist was over 30 mins late with no acknowledgement from the front desk staff. My friend explained this was her first wax and she was nervous and the waxing “specialist” (a term I use loosely) was very judgmental and stand-off ish. She accidentally got wax in areas that were not meant to have wax and did not once acknowledge it. To make matters worse she was TEXTING the entire time while doing my wax which is so unsanitary and rude! This location truly needs to work on professionalism and hygienic precautions. I will NEVER come back which is a shame because these centers are supposed to be known for their outstanding service.

My wax specialist Savannah was sooooo amazing and very quick! One of the best experiences Ive had with EWC. The front desk staff is also very nice.

I love EWC so I was pretty surprised when I went all the way there for my appointment, and my esthetician was out with an injury (apparently I was supposed to have gotten a text or call to reschedule—and the woman at the front desk, Vanessa, noticed I hadn’t been sent any messages.) Helpfully, Vanessa tried to find a time that day with another esthetician, even going above and beyond by calling all the upcoming appointments to see if anyone wanted to reschedule—but they were booked solid. She told me to call her manager, Rachel, the next day. Vanessa was really nice about it, and since I used to work on the front desk at a spa in NYC, I totally get it—these things happen! But then when I spoke with Rachel, I was pretty taken aback because she didn’t even reschedule my appointment, only offering to place another “complimentary” service on my account, which wasn’t even the service I had booked. Yikes. Maybe try the Arlington location instead.

This was my first wax after several years and Teyah put me at ease. I was also greeted very warmly by Alicia. The staff and location are both amazing! Clean and professional as well. Thank you!

For about a year now, I’ve been getting my waxes done at this location. I don’t have a specific esthetician that I see regularly, but every time the experience has been pleasant and comfortable. My last appointment was with Lala and she was very detail oriented and quick! I also appreciate the front office making it super easy to schedule or reschedule appointments over the phone. I highly recommend just calling when you want to book.

Third time at this location. Today my appointment was 15 minutes late but the front desk staff apologized. The other two times my appointment started a few minutes late as well. Staff is professional and the space feels safe/clean. First wax was free!

My original center was in Pentagon City. I’ve tried Duke Street after I moved 3 separate times and I will never go back. I’ve never waited less than 20 min (in my car due to the pandemic, which is fine) to be seen. Every time I’m 5 - 10 min early and don’t get called in until 20min+ late for my appointment. I have never received acknowledgment from the staff who are very unfriendly for the extended wait. My last visit was the last straw. After my typical waiting of approximately 15 min after my scheduled time I get a phone call that they have to cancel me because my waxer is too far behind?! Like I’m not sitting in my car waiting to be seen. Not one apology or acknowledgment from the management team. Absolutely nothing. And their policy is 5 minutes late or they cancel your appointment which is the biggest double standard. I’ve tried different waxers and it has never made a difference. I hate feeling like I’m inconveniencing the staff there and the services certainly are not cheap. I’ll be making the extra 15 min drive and going back to the Pentagon City location. I highly recommend it over the Duke Street, unless you don’t value your time.

Stopped in for general information. Upon arrival front desk rep immediately asked if i had an appointment not Hello or May I help you? I felt like I was trespassing .Anyway. I walked in just to gather general information- I am pregnant and just wanted to make sure they were servicing pregnant women. She gave a short answer “yes” and nothing further. I then asked if they had a conditions - cleaning, appointment making, preparation before service etc. She laughed and said “conditions?... umm ” As if i asked something barbaric. She seemed annoyed but responded with covid restrictions & safety measures. I then asked how to prepare for my service ... she briefly explained... again nothing further.The whole exchange was awkward and I felt like I was bothering her with my questions. My questions were general and could have been answered in one breath or she could have just given me a brochure with all the information but I had to ask for that too.I understand we are not clear of the pandemic and want to make sure that you’re keeping staff/ clients safe - i also understand the paranoia and frustration that comes with making sure you adhere to guidelines but basic customer service shouldn’t be compromised.

The staff are amazing. Professional and very friendly I had the pleasure of getting multiple wax services from Teyah. It was my 1st time, she was very patient walked me through the process and informed me on any details I needed to know. She’s such an warm hearted person, she made my experience beyond exceptional! I will defiantly be back to book with her again.

I just left EWC as a first time customer and let me tell you....I was scared since I was getting a Brazilian wax for the first time but Autumn and Rachel made it such a memorable first time experience. Both ladies were extremely professional and put my mind at ease. Autumn is the bomb.com. This was a first time and definitely not the last. I’m big on customer service and these two ladies know the true meaning of good customer service.

I have went to this location for body waxing and it was great. The wax specialist Tia was awesome and I am definitely going to recommend to everyone I know.

I recently came in for a Brow and Brazilian wax. Its hard to find someone thats good at brow waxing but Teyah did a great job. I was impressed. My brows look exactly how I wanted them to look. Shes quick and thorough. I barely felt any pain !!!!!!!

I should have read the reviews before coming here. They did a Brazilian with NO pre or post wax aftercare. I had to ask for alcohol wipes and lotion. Like that is so unsanitary. Do not go here. I already complained to the manager,but I mean Im not the only one apparantly that issues with cleanliness per the reviews.They obviously dont train their staff well.Edit: btw got really bad folliclitis and had to see a dermatologist. Do not come here.

So my appointment is for 930 I received a text at 9:15 saying that they’re having trouble opening the doors and this happened August 8, 2021. So I respond to the text and ask the lady was I still scheduled for today and she said yes they’ll come I was already halfway down the road so once I arrive at the center there’s about seven people waiting outside I asked for how long would it take before the staff member comes to unlock the door the woman said oh she should be here within two minutes she lied no one came I sat outside and waited for 35 minutes before leaving I contacted Rachel still have not received any word from her I emailed I called now I need to contact corporate. Very unprofessional. I’ve been going to Duke Street for about seven months I see the reviews on here which is true that they are very unprofessional but one particular tech that I go to I really enjoy her.

It was my first time getting a Brazilian done and Victoria made it extremely easy. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain but surprisingly it didn’t hurt that bad!! Victoria explained everything she was doing and what you should do to take care of it after. She was very nice and sweet also made some small talk which I enjoyed cause I felt comfortable. You should definitely go to European wax center, I highly recommend!!!

My 5 star goes to Lala. Shes definitely detailed oriented, makes sure she gets most if not all the hairs, some of mine can be stubborn. She is gentle with your skin and cleans you up well so when you take your clothes off theres not left over particles of wax leftover. I highly recommend requesting her as your waxer to get a good job done! Thank you Lala, you have a great work ethic that shines amongst others :D

I went to savannah . She was taking open appointment the same day. This is my 3rd wax and by far the painful wax ever. She put big patches of wax on a area so she can get it all at one time instead of caring and taking her time.: maybe she was just rushing but I should of listen to the other reviews. I will not return here .

I’ve been to this location only a handful of times since it’s not my normal wax center, but every time I’ve been there I’ve had a good experience. Clean, professional and friendly. The waxers I’ve seen have also done a great job!

I was invited by a friend to check out EWC for their complimentary wax service for healthcare workers. I booked online and the process was very easy. The confirmation email said to check in online at the door and that masks are required. A staff member came out with a questionnaire and took my temperature. I was told to wait for a text when they were ready. Savannah was great! She walked me through each step and made me feel comfortable and was very gentle. A great experience, would definitely come back and recommend to a friend!

Listen Ainya is the best! Had my first Brazilian with her and it was almost painless.. She’s the only one I go to! She’s very knowledgeable with tips and tricks for skin care down there! And she’s very informative about the process. Love her! I do wish the front desk staff were amiable.

I come here all of the time. My last visit was the worst wax I have ever received. My wax took 45 mins that usually takes 15-20 minutes. I’m not sure if this girl was new but she lacked professionalism and I have never had so many ingrowns before. I will have to find a better person since Khadijah left.

Update: After posting this review the manager contacted me and apologized for my experience. She also offered to refund the full amount i paid and credit to cover another face wax. They made things right so Im changing my review.*** Terrible first time experience! I went in for a full face wax and bikini line wax which took over 1 hour. The waxing assistant got wax in my hair! She had to use oil to work it out of my hair. I was told one of my services would be 1/2 price. Face wax is $51 and bikini is $43. The girl checking me out argued with me that $38 was 1/2 off the face wax! My bill was $81. Once I got outside I could still see fine blonde hairs on my chin and neck. Ill NEVER go back!!

I had a outstanding experience with Bri. She is the best. She is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products. She recommended the bump serum for my legs..I love it. The waiting area and bathroom were extremely clean. The desk clerk that checked me is he was friendly and on point. He told me about referral point towards my next visit because I referred my sister.

The staff is very professional and nice, and they use good quality products. The waxing process was also less painful than what I have experienced at other places.
