I had a very negative experience at this Mr. Tire.I ordered new front tires online from Tire Rack. The quoted price per tire for my series (35s) was $16 a tire. When I arrived, the manager quoted me $35 per tire. I showed him the Tire Rack quote and he said they would honor it.I waited over two hours for the techs to take my car. After they did, I got a call another hour later saying they had difficulty with the first tire, that it had taken the entire hour, and would I want them to complete the work on the second tire. I said yes. They were unable to complete the work before they closed nearly five hours after I arrived.When I picked up my car the next day, both front wheels had significant damage done to them. I asked the manager about the damage, and he told me I was responsible, since I had authorized them to complete the work on the second wheel. He refused to accept responsibility, offer compensation, or provide any recourse. He did ultimately agree to not charge me for the work, though he rang the invoice up at the initial $35 per tire price that we discussed the day before.I ultimately called Monro, the corporate parent company of Mr. Tire, which was able to process my claim for damages and compensate me for repairing the tires. Five stars for the corporate claims team.EDIT: The location called me and is apparently under new management. The new manager was generous about trying to make things better.

Took my car to the shop to have my tire fixed (nail puncture) on Wednesday 8/11/21. Attached photo showing the nail was nowhere near the sidewall of the tire. The representative at Mr Tire said I had to replace the tire because it was too close to the sidewall. The total cost was $200 to get a new tire. As you can see from the picture, this was bogus. I felt they were trying to make a sale regardless that it was unnecessary, and was taken advantage of because I’m a female. Prior to bringing it into the shop, I spoke with multiple friends who work in this industry and was assured this should have been a cheap and easy patch job. Instead, the representative balked and refused to consider patching it. I’m a local who lives down the street, and this could have been an opportunity for repeat business should I have any other issues down the line, but instead I am left feeling taken advantage of and very upset that I paid so much money for an easy fix. Absolutely cannot fathom coming here again and strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your simple fixes.

My daughter and I went to Mr. Tire, without an appointment, to take care of both of our cars, one with a screw in the tire and one needing an oil change. The staff was friendly, efficient, and took care of only what we needed as quickly as possible. I was very happy with the service, and plan to take my car there again.

Fantastic service! Came here to get a new set of brakes, rotors, and tires with alignment. They were extraordinarily professional and helpful and completed the job thoroughly and quickly (1.5 hours faster than expected). When I asked about another type of service, the owner let me know I had some time before I needed to get that job done, he could have tried to sell me on doing it that day. Love working with someone with such integrity! They also charged less than another estimate I had received and completed the state inspection at no charge! My vehicle now handles like a brand new car. Im very happy about the service and highly recommend going here!

Courteous and professional. I showed up early on Saturday and there was no wait. Mr K was polite and helpful. The price was about what I expected for brakes.

Came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and wheel balancing. During my tire rotation and balancing my wheels were scratched along with my center caps. Also found a slight dent in my left passenger door as well after the visit. The tech also did not clean his has so I left with oil on my steering wheel, door handle, hood, and window. Minor careless things like this just drive business to other shops. Will not come back there are plenty of other shops in the area. Wiygul is right around the corner and will go there next time.

Nope, go somewhere else. This location is not really knowledgeable in tires like they should be. My tires were put on a new set of rims, but the rims were balanced completely wrong and for some odd reason, my lower control arm was loosened. I returned to see why my car would violently vibrate when driving over 50, they told me it was an issue that did not occur with them, they took another 2 hours rebalancing my wheels for the same thing to occur. Took my car to Goodyear the next day, spent another $180 for them to take an hour to fix the issues caused by this location. Never again- I spent over $500 at this location for my rims to be scraped and not even placed on like they should have been smh.

So I got 2 tiers and fixed headlights and windshield wipers like 2 months ago at this location. The job was really good and the service was great. One of my windshield wipers was not performing today so I had to walk in and ask them to look at it. Lemme just tell you that the person behind the desk was not helpful. He said we are busy today and that I should come tomorrow. Totally understandable. However, his attitude was rather interesting. I agreed and asked him to take my info and give me a time. He was about to take my info but suddenly decided otherwise. He suddenly said I am too busy to take your info just come tomorrow. I gave them 3 stars for their first job an service which was good. Thanks for not being helpful; I am not coming tomorrow or ever:)

I purchased my set of tires from TireRack and had them shipped to Mr Tire overnight. They were installed the next morning. The manager and installers were first rate and honored all the installation cost agreements required for TireRack official installation shops. I had the necessary front end alignment done at the same and also requested an oil change. Everything was completed in 90 minutes. This is the way to buy tires!

Stay alert.I had to get 4 new tires for my SUV. The price quoted on the phone was less than the one I got in person for the same tires even after accounting for installation, alignment, balancing, etc. I went over the itemized bill with the manager/?owner in detail and he said he couldnt figure out what the difference was from, but that he would get back to me. The exchange was friendly. I went with it and also added on an oil change and safety inspection while I was there. I was told the mechanic is very fast and everything would be done quickly. When the vehicle was ready, I saw the new bill - the cost came down a few dollars (maybe $20 or so) with no explanation. When I started driving away, I noticed the oil indicator was still at 50%, so I went back. The manager came out and began adjusting the dials on the dash to reset it to 100%. After a couple minutes, the mechanic who worked on the car thankfully noticed us and walked over. He said he never changed the oil. He said the ticket never included an oil change. So my overall price had been reduced by a few bucks (but not by the cost of an oil change) and my oil was not changed. The mechanic took back the vehicle and changed the oil (I think) and I drove away. The manager said he was sorry - no further explanation of why the ticket didnt include an oil change that was paid for, no offer for a discount, no offer for a complementary oil change.

30 min oil change is a lie. I just spent 2 hours there, they didnt rotate my tire AND they didnt replace my windshield wipers. 2 hours for an oil change?!

Requested an appointment online, called to confirm the day before and was greeted with a warm welcome. I needed new tires (all four) and had no idea where to start, but was kindly shown different tires running from basic to top of the line all season tires. Upon picking tires, I was provided with an estimate and was guided through the charges. What I really like is that I was ASKED what I wanted for my vehicle rather than just saying what I needed and doing it... All in all, it was an easy, fast and wonderful experience. HIGHLY recommend!!

I was looking to get my brakes service and ran across Mr. Tires at S. Pickett Street. I read what other people were saying about how good their service is. I was impress the customer service, Amanda Cabral was very professional and kept me inform of everything they were doing to my car. Would recommend this location to anyone. It was the worst store in Virginia. the service was bad and it was take a long time to wait. I can not come again in MR tire store. I bought just one tire it took three hours!!!.

I lived in the area for awhile and have been bouncing around garages for awhile because I could not find a garage I had confidence in. However, when I went to Mr.Tire I ended up feeling confident in them and their staff in less then ten minutes of being there. I first went into the shop for new tires and was greeting by Tamer working the counter. Tamer helped me break down the prices of two brand tires and explained the benefits and negatives of both brands. I could tell he was very educated in his profession.The next day I came into the shop to actually get the tires on my car. I was greeted by Moe the shop manager. He informed me that the tires I order were not in yet however he immediately called his counter parts and was able to get them less then 30 min and apologized on the behalf of the shop. While the mechanics were changing the tires he informed Moe that I needed new rear breaks. Moe even showed me the breaks to prove they were an honest garage. That in itself was refreshing to witness. He then took me to my car and showed me what they were doing.Overall I am really impressed with this garage and it’s staff members. I can tell they pride themselves in customer service and it show immediately when you walk in. I recommend this shop to anyone, also they don’t just specialize in tires they do everything you can image when it comes to automotive. Great work Mr. Tire!!!

The guys at this location were patient and honest. I knew all my tires were on the brink or replacement but really only came in for one that was flat. They did not try to push replacing all 4. Gave me the option for replacing the 1 and for replacing all 4. They were happy to do either. I appreciated the experience.

It is often hard to find a service station that you can trust. Well at Mr. Tire of Alexandria the manager Mohan and his team are the best. They are honest, reliable and a pleasure to deal with. My family happened by chance to have work done at the Mr. Tire fairfax location and were so impressed by the way we were treated we made them our go to auto shop. When Mohan the manager was moved to the Alexandria location we followed him there because he and his team are the best! Just ask for Mo!

Dropped off and picked up my car within 5 hours for a leaking tire. Raphael was very helpful setting it up, only took 5 minutes to check in and even let me keep the nail that was in my tire after they got it out. Less than $40 for fast and friendly service.

Wonderful! I got a flat in the AM and gave them a call during work to ask for prices super reasonable even checked the tire first for free. I made an appointment so when I showed up they instantly got to work. I ended up having a nail in my tire and it only cost me $36 to fix. Great customer service, my 4 year old even got to watch some spongebob while we waited. Got there at 4pm and was out before 4:30pm. Thank you!

Warm friendly staff. Great service from my phone call to see how if they had a tire I stock to pulling up to door there was someone to greet me and take the vehicle information. Mr Tire Auto Service Center service was quite impeccable upon walk-in! Amanda (Front Desk) was very welcoming and honored my appointment time as soon as I walked in with no wait. Moe (The Store Manager) made himself known and introduced himself and ensured my car got the best service in a short time frame! I had over several maintenance jobs conducted on my vehicle and the turn around time was expected to be 3 to 4 hours but Moe and his team got it done within 2.5 hours. Impressive! Good and inexpensive maintenance, punctuality, and customer friendliness was this location TOP 3 pillars.I am highly impressed and look forward to coming back in the near future. Also, they had a nice waiting area with WiFi so I was able to work from home while getting my car handled. 5 stars in my book!

I went to Mr Tire with the intention of replacing all of my tires and to have an alignment. I don’t know how often tires are supposed to be changed and I’m about to have to drive from here to texas, so i wanted to make sure i was safe. When i got there i was greeted by a really nice man. i’m not sure what his name is but the name on my receipt is Fida Mohammad. I told him what I was looking to do and he went out to check my tires. He came in and told me new tires weren’t necessary and showed me how much tread i still have on them. He also said since my car is so new I shouldn’t need an alignment either. I was excited that I didn’t need to spend the amount of money I was originally anticipating and super grateful that he was honest with me about it instead of just taking my money. I ended up getting the alignment just to be safe. My car was ready within an hour or two and it only cost me $27 total. I would recommend this place to my grandma haha.

The only place in the area I trust to service my vehicles. Mo and the rest of the staff always take care of me. On my most recent visit I dropped my car off for a tire replacement, they didn’t have my non standard tire in stock, not a big deal as I didn’t need it until the next day. To my surprise they called an hour later to tell me my car was ready! Friendly, honest and top notch service!

Id rate this place a 4.8 out of 5.0.My car is getting old and it was time to change the tires. One had a screw where it was not possible to plug and they needed to be changed out regardless. However, the bad screw tire needed to be constantly filled so I needed a quick change which is rough to find on a busy schedule.Everything was handled smoothly and quickly. I was in and out and still made it in time for my school tests later that afternoon.. and I didnt need to be worried about driving on a wonky tire. Setting a time up over the phone went well and it was easy to get itemized quotes. Customer service was great.They only lost a few points because it would have been nice to have the option of water or a vending machine. There was some coffee, but it looked subpar. Overall, no effect on the important transaction, but some places have much nicer reception areas.Thanks guys!

Wonderful and efficient staff. I met Tamer and mechanic ( a bit tall guy don’t know his name). Both are doing excellent jobs and are very friendly and professional. I had a leaking tire with my car for over a month and took it to GoodYear and even to Toyota, but they could not find the leakage. I took it to Mr. Tire, they first tried to fix it without any charges, which was still leaking, but later they did a thorough checking of the tire, found the problem and fixed it, which is working perfectly.

I had an amazing experience with Mr. Tire at South Pickett St, Alexandria, Virginia. Amanda was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She made me feel as if I was the only customer. Their service is unmatched and I will be referring all of my friends and relatives to this location. I will be back soon for my synthetic oil change.

My car had a flat tire after work. I called and asked if they could put on a new tire about an hour and a half to close. Thankfully Tamer said to bring the car on over and they could do it. Quick service and they showed me how dirty my air filters were so I will replace those too. Quick and efficient I will return.

Good experience overall. I had gotten four new tires here a few years ago on my car, and my husband just got a nail in his tire the other day, so we took it to Mr. Tire. We were hoping it could just get patched, but unfortunately it couldnt be patched, so we got two new tires. Both times, service at Mr. Tire has been quick and efficient. We had had a bad experience at a different tire place in Springfield about five or six years ago, so thats when we started to go to Mr. Tire for our (albeit infrequent) tire needs.One thing to keep in mind (this is not the fault of Mr. Tire though), is that this place is somewhat hard to find, even with GPS. Id recommend mapping it out through Google Street View to make sure you know the best way to approach it. Its hard to explain, but its right along a road fork, and its easy to pass it by accident.

Cool guy. Excellent service. And not only do I have 4 brand new tires at half the price of the cheapest competitor, I have a few ideas on future landscaping plans. I highly recommend this spot for a nice chat and/or tire service.

The service at the Pickett Street location was very prompt. The waiting room was clean and organized. The mechanic, who performed the service, showed me what the issues were, installed the tires, performed the alignment and was done in no time. I was advised of recommended repairs without feeling pressure to perform them at this time. Dean, the manager was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with my experience there and will highly consider returning for future repairs. I recommend Dean and his staff of automotive professionals for your automotive needs.

Mr. Tire has been super helpful. I’ve been going to their shop and they always display an exemplary degree of professionalism and take great care of their customers. I have a 21 year old SUV that I purchased and prefer to work on myself. That being said, the two control arm bushings which press into the Dana 30 axle brackets are a pain the rear end to remove. Knowing this, I brought the vehicle into Mr. Tire and spoke to the GM Moe. We agreed on a reasonable price to do the work (even though he knew it could turn into more hours than anticipated). In the end it took twice as long as he quoted. I was happy with the work and thought the price was fair. He charged me what was quoted and nothing more. Very happy with Mr. Tire and will come back again for sure.

Went in for 4 tires with complete package, alignment, balance, etc. Mr. Wally called to confirm if I was going to make the appointment because another customer wanted the tires I had on stand by. At first I was thinking this guy is going to sell my tires lol. He was actually making sure he wasnt holding on to a product that wasnt going to sell. Some people make appointments and never show up. Long story short, great experience and professional. I would highly recommend if you are in the northern Virginia area.

They are very fast in tending to customers. (2) they do superbly good job for example, when they change the oil in the car, the level of the gage never drops below the upper level. (3) they are censures of the fact that time is money they will get you in and out fast (4)the work that will take PEP BOYS 5 hours, Mr. TIRE will do it in 45 minutes. (5) that is the reason I drive all the way from Hyattsville MD to come and fix the car here.

Customer service was great. I was visiting family from out of town and lost a tire on the way to Va. I needed that tire replaced. After the initial inspection. It was discovered that another tire needed replacing along with an exotic alignment. They were helpful and knowledgeable concerning the product choices of tires, and the specialized alignment required for my car. Found this place by accident. I was going to BJ’s Wholesale to have my tire replaced (it was out of convenience) but when I got there, they didn’t have the tire I needed. I googled “best tires near me” and Mr. Tires came up. I can say without a doubt, it has top billing for a reason! Great customer service, half the price I would have paid before and FAST turnaround. If their other services are as good as their tire replacements, I’ve found my “go to” service center. Now, stop reading reviews and head over there!

Ive gone to many shops and I can confidently say that Rafael is the most honest mechanic. He did not try to up-sell and his recommendations (and the timing of his recommended services) were spot on. He was also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions (I had many). All of these traits are hard to find these days. Im really glad I live close by Mr. Tire otherwise, I would probably drive all the way here to get my service done.I just hope that they maintain their integrity and awesomeness as I plan to come here for all my future car service needs. If management is reading this, please do whatever it takes to keep Rafael there! Hes just a great guy!

Manager Deymar and his staff are absolutely fantastic. They go above and beyond to take care of my cars needs. I can always expect fantastic customer service and honest assessment of issues. Pricing is generally fair and equitable. Attention to detail and listening of customer needs is the most important aspect of their service. Junior was the technician to work on my car, highly recommend if you can land his services.

These guys are the best car service professionals I have ever dealt with. They offered the best price I could find in mounting/balancing a new set of tires. On top of that, they were able to fix an alignment problem I knew I had for way less than I was expecting. Overall their customer service and promptness blew me away. Have been a customer for a while of this location. Today was the last day as a customer. I took my vehicle in for an oil change which included a tire rotation. I chose to mark my tires before I took my vehicle in. I dropped off my car and upon my return I noticed my tires had not been rotated. I brought to their attention and they then performed the rotation.I asked, how can I be sure I had an oil change. It was the same assurance I had that my tires had been rotated.While in the shop, I shared my experience with another customer who stated that she returned after her car didnt have the proper amount of oil in it. I then checked my oil as well.Id like to think I am not over reacting, but trust is important!

I highly recommend Mr. Tire Auto Service Center! Superb customer service. I came in two hours before closing with a nail in my tire. Dean and his crew were able to fix it and get me on my way. You won’t find a better tire center in Northern Virginia.

I had such a great experience here! Scott and Baha were fantastic. I walked up to the front door, and Scott even held the door open for me! As soon as I walked in the customer service was wonderful, and quick! I felt like I had just sat down and they were already finished with my vehicle. It turns out I only needed air in two of my tires, and there was no charge! I will definitely be returning!
