This place is awesome!! They have such great prices, the owners so friendly. Their work is awesome and all hand painted with tons of colors to choose from!! Weve been looking for someplace like this! You can take any picture in and they know how do it. I love my girl Katie, she already knows my taste and what I like!! They always remember me, my mom, and my friend who go in!!

I went to get my nails done Thursday. My pedicure was fine but the lady that did my full set was horrible. My nails were bulky and uneven and they looked like they had already grown out... I went back Friday to have them redone and was there for an entire 10 minutes. She told me she couldnt fix them and instead tried to convince me that they were pretty. She repainted them for me.. and they were just as bad if not worse the second time. They offered to fix them again.. but I will not ever go back there.... just dont do it.

I have been to just about EVERY nail place in ABQ and I always return to T&Y. The staff are all very kind and always give exactly what I ask for. Yen is extremely personable and so fun to talk to. Keep up the great work!

I went to other salons that said they couldnt do this look for some reason and i walked in and the owner was able to accommodate me and my mother in law. Omg we are beyond happy. We look like gazillion dollars thank you guys

This place is amazing! I came here yesterday with my sister on our girls day for some pampering. The staff is so friendly and provide such great service. Best pedicures we have ever had, they take their time, not rush you out the door like most places. The foot massage was incredible, I honestly could have taken a nap I was so relaxed. Cleanest salon I have been in. I felt like a queen.

Had to wait a while even after we were told to come back at a set time. However, the salon is relaxing and nicely decorated. My pedicure was really well done, better than most other places Ive tried in the midtown area. My pedicurist was very detailed and didnt rush through it. Today was my first time coming to T&Y Nails and Im very impressed with their selection of nail color options, and their quality of work. I came in to get a powder gel fill over my poly gel nails that I had done by a different nail salon, and I wasnt sure how it was going to turn out. My nails turned out fabulous. T&Y Nails will now be my regular nail salon. Thanks again!

Thy is the sweetest and nicest nail tech you could ever have! I walked in, showed her a picture, and she got right to work. Shes able to do any design and even adds her own flair to it. Ill definitely be going back on a regular basis.I will definitely keep coming back.

I have fragile nails and I play guitar so I was very pleased with the combination of a thin acrylic nail layer with gel polish that Katie provided for a reasonable cost. She did a beautiful job and I will definitely be back on a regular basis.

The man was cutting my finger. I pulled back because it hurt.He got mad. Didnt care I said youre cutting me. He said I cant do this if you pull. I said you cut me, there is blood. He said its fine dont move! My nails ended up wavey and not a smooth look.

They always do great work on my toes. Lots of color options and its very clean and the nail techs are friendly.

Me and my family have been coming to T&Y nails for years for pedicures and nails, the place is always clean and they even put a liner for the tub for every customer that gets their toes done, so the customers don’t get other germs. The owner make sure that the staff takes care of the customers and gives the customer what they want. If anything goes wrong the owner will go out of her way to fix it and we are very appreciative the way T&Y provides good service

Great job by the technician who is very skilled at what she does; she took care not to damage my nail when removing my previous gel since I have a thin nail bed. Will be back when I am in town.

I had a terrible experience today with “Hanna”. She cut my feet till they were bleeding then used superglue to make it stop, she used the cheese grader tool until I insisted she stopped, and she hurt me. I asked for softer tools and asked for a new person and was denied. I told her she had to stop and she argued with me that she was doing a good job and making it better. The owner would not come over when I asked for a new person and I made her stop the middle of the pedicure because it was so painful. I finally spoke to the owner who said I wouldn’t get Hanna next time. The owner didn’t apologize, didn’t try to make it right, and charged me. Several hours later and it hurts to walk and I have open cuts on my feet. My blood was on the foot basin and didn’t look to be cleaned very well. I do not recommend this poorly run establishment!!!

So I got straight in, no wait. The receptionist was super nice. Once the guy got started on my nails he was told he had an appointment. I felt like he was rushing. My nail polish is not smooth, I have residue of something on my skin, the nails weren’t filed on the sides, plus there is glitter stuck to my cuticles. I could understand because it’s glitter but it will not come off. I feel slightly cheated out for it to be over $50 and not look good. The color itself is great though.

I have always gone in to get my nails done there and they always do a good job. I had my eyebrows, lip, and chin waxed the other day and the lady was so rough and was in a hurry it was so uncomfortable and I have never had a unpleasant waxing in my life. My face has been hurting so bad the last two days since my waxing I can not even wear makeup, I have had to use Aloe Vera because the lady tore my skin off, which has never happened in my life and I have been waxing for over 18 years, I won’t ever go there for my waxing. Unfortunately Rose nails was closed and that’s where I usually go.

Came to get a full set had a bit of a wait but that was no biggie. My set looked amazing for about a week, and then one of my nails just came right off. When I spoke of setting up an appointment the guy just kind of shook it off like hes got interest in appointments! Decent salon atmosphere not sure Ill go back to get my nails done.

They gave me foot fungus!!!!!I have been here 2 times the first visit wasnt bad so I decided to go again. The second time was June 5th. The nail tech was so aggressive with buffing my fingernails that I still have scabs! I tried to tell her and pull away but language barrier and her inability to read body language caused weeks of scabs. Also I chose a pretty glitter red dipping powder, the end result was blush pink, she clearly grabbed the wrong color. I tried to tell her and she said after the top coat the color changes, it at least thats what I think she was telling me. I do know the powder in the jar and the end result do differ so I didnt really think to much of it.She was also in such a rush, which is probably why she was so brutal with my hands. I also got a pedicure, and wanted a design but she was too busy for that. I am now realizing I have a fungus on my foot!!!!!! This is the only nail salon I have been to in months and I dont participate in activities that would commonly give fungus. I am so disgusted and disappointed. I highly recommend staying away from this place!!!!!

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written in my life, but it WAS THAT BAD.. roach crawling on my chair next to my arm to start off my “relaxing” pedicure, then a second one up the wall.... yeah okay whatever!My daughters entire set of dip nails are hideous, that’s the only word I can Come up with. Truly looks like they were done by a 5th grader.. they did not say one word about it being this mans first day...? Did he just start doing nails? Possibly... I do Not see anywhere I can Post a picture.. but I do Have some. If you want a pedicure with possible roach buddies, this here is your place, for nails, NOOOOOOOWE DID CALL (to speak with owner/management),,, she said we could come back and she would make them “beautiful”No thank you— we are good, we will NEVER RETURN. T & Y is the only nail salon I will go too! They are super friendly, and will do any design you want on your nails. The staff real shows customer appreciation, and always give out discounts. I definitely recommend them!

The place smells like cigarette smoke as if employees are smoking in the nail shop. Also- make sure you confirm what they’re charging you as they’re doing services. Otherwise, they do all the “extra” things and end up charging you once it’s time to pay. Ridiculously priced and quality is mediocre. Won’t be going back.

They have to be ashamed for themselves. My coworker and I went to get our nails done together two weeks ago on a Sunday . (Ive never been there but she goes every two weeks and has Natalie does her nails) my nails were very thick and my coworkers nails looked half completed. That Tuesday my coworker came in and half her nails chipped or broke (mind you she comes basically every two weeks and knows how to work with her Acrylic nails) called and was able to have them fixed the upcoming Sunday. That Monday two more of her nails broke and split her natural nails! She called that day and left a message and called Friday. The owner of the store was not in but she received a callback from Riley stating she has to pay for her nails to have them fixed. This is the second time that her nails have made her bleed, second time that her nails need to be fixed by a professional (she tried to remove the acrylic herself but its taking off the meat from her finger), and third time trying to get her nails just to look half way decent! they just are showing that they dont care about the customers!!!! Never again will I take my business there

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had.I got the second level pedicure. All he did as far as my nails go is cut them with a cuticle clipper. Once he started painting I asked if he could file and shape them. He ran the file over the top so they look like stubs now. My nails looked better before. When I was leaving I told him and the manager I didn’t like them because they weren’t shaped and he told the manager it’s because my toenails were too short. He cut them! She completely ignored me and turned around.Save your money. Go somewhere else. Customer service and work here is far below what it should be.

This was my place for pedicures for more than 5 years until today. I brought my mom here as well and “her” pedicurist made her so very happy. She died in February and had Alzheimer’s and I am so grateful to the woman who tended her and was so gentle and kind to her. Last week I got a pedicure. I used to be able to go a month between pedicures because they did such a great job. This time the aesthetician didnt even bother to removed the all polish and it started flaking off in days. Plus she left the outer sides of my feet untouched and she turned on the timer for the “massage” and kept getting up and running around barely touching my legs and feet. I called and spoke to the owner who told me to come in and she would have someone give me another pedicure. Well, I got there and she wanted me to physically point out the person who had done my pedicure. I said I felt uncomfortable doing so. But I said she was in a gray shirt. I was led over to the seat and told I was getting a polish change, not a pedicure. The aesthetician was someone I didn’t know and he was rude and surly. I decided they weren’t worth my time and was going to leave. I tried to explain to the owner she’d embarrassed me by making a big commotion after I’d told her who had done the pedicure. She interrupted me and talked over me and then accused me of lying about who did the pedicure and tried to tell me the one who had taken care of my mom was the one. She said I lied because “Nancy” was her very best and it couldn’t have been her. Good things come to an end, and this place has gone downhill. No Customer service skills, Diminishing actual service skills, embarrassing customers, no keeping promises. I wouldn’t waste your time with these people.

If I could it would get no stars they made my nails crooked and thick. Went to get them fixed and they just repainted and it started peeling the nail tech was rough and gave me a cut. My experience was terrible when asked to fixed something they messed up they get an attitude. Highly unrecommend poor experience as well as poor quality

The lady giving me a pedi cut my toe with the cuticle trimmer and within 24 hours it was infected, despite me cleaning it and keeping it covered in Neosporin. Definitely will never go back, and really hoping this infection doesnt get any worse. Im going to the Dr for oral antibiotics. Id give it zero stars if that were an option....

T&Y nails is one of the best nail salons in ABQ. I have been going here for 2 years now after going to many different places and leaving unsatisfied. The staff is very friendly and Yen, the owner is great at nail designs and customer service.

Very unsatisfied with the service t and y nails give . I got coffin shaped nails one side was coffin shape and the other side of the nail was straight. I asked the nail tech to fix it and he handed the the nail file to me and said do it yourself . I asked to speak to management and manager said the nail looks like that because the shape of my finger . They do not make you feel welcomed at all or leave you satisfied with your nails you want done .

Price is excellent, but you do get what you pay for. Staff is kinda rude, or the owner is. Also one of the last times I was here there where dead water bugs all over the place. Including a live one in the TP roll...

Worst nail experience ever. I had a set of old nails on and wanted to get a new set for my vacation. Long story short she pulled the middle of my nail off all the way to my skin underneath. I showed the owner and she didnt even seem to care kept working on the person she was doing and said that i pulled my hand which is not true. They didnt try to apologize or make it better but rather just blame me for them ripping my nail. I cant even put a nail or fix it until it grows. Dont bother going to this place ever. On another note i went to another salon to fix my other nails and the guy said he use to work there and all they do is rush which explains why they didnt soak the old acrylic off first.

Experience was great-lots of choices for colors. I came at a busy time and my acrylic nails were not done properly, but they redid them for free! Great customer service

Worst Nail place in Albuquerque...was told a set of dip in was 28.00 and sent my 3 girls to get a set. Only one of my girls was charged correct. The other two where charged 38.00 not 28.00. Also. Two of them where cut in the process . And the nail tech didnt listen they asked for xl coffin they got short square. And my one girl didnt didnt get nail tips they just dipped them so they where super super short. And my second girl her nails are bumpy and just bad over all and the they look like they where done by a kid.my daughter asked for a design on one nail. And the tech couldnt do it. So they ask three other tech and no one could do it, she wanted a tree.never again. Over charged cut with tools. Poor quality work .

I can honestly say that this is the absolute worst nail salon Ive ever been to. I have NEVER received good service from them they are ALWAYS RUDE! They also hang their towels to dry on the rail behind the shop which is a dirty alley like area, this is also where they take smoke breaks blowing smoke all over those clean towels.

I used to go to this place all the time- it seemed friendly and clean. The last time I went for a pedicure, I got not one but two different kinds of rash on my feet. One looks like Athletes Foot, which I have never had before and the other is something completely different, I am going to the doctor tomorrow. To top it all off, the pedicurist also cut my toes when she trimmed my nails so that night my toes were bleeding.I called to tell them about my experience and the receptionist did not even pretend to care. She didnt ask for details of who did my pedicure or when I was there, she clearly had NO interest in making sure that the same thing would not happen to you. She didnt even apologize to me for the poor experience or offer my money back.DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON, THEY ARE NOT CLEAN!

Will not go back. Took my daughter there to get her eyebrows done. There was a language barrier because the woman could not understand English when my daughter was asking a question. The lady got frustrated and had to get someone else. When was was applied it was even close to her eyebrows. Salon looked worn.

She CUT her toe then she rushed through the rest of her pedicure....heels were still rough... the worst part was she didnt even apologize!And beware...they only take credit card over a certain amount! Please, don’t ever go there. I went yesterday to got my pedicure, the guy cut my toe nail completely un-even. I told him I was not happy in the way he cut my nail, he could not even understand English, and started to laugh. I call the manager, and told him what it had happen, and he went ahead and translate to the guy, and they told me my nail broke, and it was not their faul. The tools were not desinfectes, the nail filer was completely used, and dirty. This has been one of the worst experience on having a manicure. I don’t understand how a place like this can be still open?

I always receive excellent service. I have had stretches of time where I didnt go for whatever reason and each time Ive returned its an amazing experience.
