Bathroom and exam rooms are not clean. Especially the bathroom where they ask u to go leave specimens. 😕

Mateo Seifert is probably the best general practitioner I’ve ever been to. He is knowledgeable, thorough and listens to you and is never dismissive, which is much different than what I’ve experienced with a lot of other medical professionals. I can’t say much about the clinic itself but I’ve always been seen really quickly and never really had to wait very long.

Front desk secretaries will keep you on hold for 30 minutes and hang up, multiple times.If you can get past the wall of extremely under educated and uncouth desk help the actual staff do an amazing job.

I enjoy the first choice, going in,but they need to work on when you call in for appointment or the nurse s station,they say theres so many calls that to try back later,its so frustrating

I had a ultrasound appointment and they took someone ahead of me with no disregard of me having to go to work or not even seeing if I was ok with the time frame

Love this place everyone is always very nice and attentive. Ive read all of the reviews and some of them I find shocking. Ive never been denied a same day appointment for my daughter if it warrant an appointment. Mateo is awesome with my kiddo. Thanks everyone who works there and pay no attention to negative reviewers!

Friendly staff and great doctors! Sometimes it can be a bit busy so it takes a little while to get in but it’s worth it. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

If you had a bad experience then you’re not a very nice person to them.I’ve been a patient of this clinic for about 4 years and I’ve never EVER experienced anything other than professional and genuine honest & caring personnel at this clinic. They’ve been so nice to me every single time I’ve gone in. I understand some folks are just grumpy and have no basis for saying horrible things about any medical facilities so I would just say go in and see for yourselves that I am correctly stating they are nice folks.

The lab techs here are horrible and unprofessional.. First they had a hard time drawing blood doesnt seem like they know what they are doing and the older lady took out her frustration out loud in front of the patient after being poked like a pin cushion I had to go to another TriCore lab!!!

Dr. Ogas is a good physician its his office staff that is unacceptable. Ive never heard of a Drs office that has an answering machine that doesnt let you leave a message but instead tells you to call back at a better time for them. I have called 4 times in a week and have gotten this message and never spoken with anyone. Not like I am eager to talk to them because they are rude and give the impression that they are bored. If they are so bored maybe they should answer the phone. I feel bad for Dr. Ogas having such an incompetent support staff if anything they probably make his job harder.

If you’re running late, don’t even bother going to your appointment.I was 3 minutes late, and they canceled my appointment because of 3 MINUTES! This is ludicrous. I was working, and I left work early and drove as fast as I could to make it there on time.Their excuse was that my check in time was for 11:15 AM and my appointment was at 11:30 AM and I got there at 11:33 AM.I admit, I was 3 minutes late, but if you can’t be empathetic with others, and forgiving of 3 minutes, maybe you shouldn’t be working with human beings.Countless times I arrived exactly on time, and they the nurse took 15 to 20 minutes to get me, and I’ve never complained about it.What upset me the most was that, I left work early, on very busy day, they really needed me. I wasted my time and gas driving all the way from Rio Rancho to Albuquerque.I’m very disappointed with this place. They wanted to reschedule my appointment, but I refused to. They’re not getting my money anymore.They don’t deserve our business if they penalize us for being 3 minutes late and face no repercussions when they are late. Talk about a double standard!

Great staff! Very helpful most of them are bilingual which helped a lot for my mom. Always given an appointment when I call early. Better and faster than the other first choices I have gone.

I love it here. My insurance likes them. They are efficient. Be kind . They are and they try!!

My son went in for physical and they did not draw his blood. They did zero. I will make sure they dont pay themselves for doing nothing

The whole place is a disaster, staring from the front desk, to records and the doctors. This clinic never has time for the patients because the employees are to busy talking about their personal lives. the front desk and records employees are very rude, Ive seen OLDER folks being mistreated and made fun of, specially if they are not English speakers. I would not recommend this place at all.I wish I could give no stars at all.

Brought my poor Mother suffering from cancer over to this clinic after being referred to them by UNM Hospitals to set up a primary visit with Dr Steven Ogas. The ladies at the front desk were friendly but medical assistant was rude and completely non accommodating to my poor mother who had a hard time walking. The medical assistant skipped my mother for not getting to the door quickly enough and made her wait a good 30 mins before calling her in. Ill deffinetly be looking for another clinic and primary for mother.

Made an appt for mom who has Alzheimers for anti anxiety meds, they said she didnt have an appt and never checked with her Dr. It was an emergency because of her disease. All they did was talk among themselves. After the big meltdown the Dr saw her, but the staff never called in her meds. I called the pharmacy for several days and nothing. I found a new Dr and got meds the same day. Shame on this clinic for treating my 85 year old mother so poorly

Currently sitting in an exam room. I checked in at 10:15 am, because my appointment was at 10:30 am. Then the lady at the front desk told me that I was incorrect, that my appointment is actually at 10:45am. It is now 11:30 am, I am still sitting here waiting to be seen. Pretty disappointed to say the least.

If I could give this place NO stars I would. Dr. Ogas completely mismanaged my husbands anti anxiety medication. Several times I made him aware of the fact that my husband was not himself, that he was withdrawn and had lost interest in his regular hobbies. Dr.Ogas blew me off and told me not to worry, that he knew what he was doing. My husband committed suicide. Please do not use this place. Dr. Ogas should not be allowed to practice medicine.

First Choice Rocks!! I waited less than 10min for my dental appointment. The dentist was funny and super professional. She answered all my questions and got me scheduled early for a my procedure.

Lost my insurance information. They want you to drive all the way out there to take your proof (again). You are not allowed to have an appointment the same day.

I have nothing but good things to say about First Choice and Dr. Seifert. Very clean facility and friendly staff 👍

Dr Mateo is a dumb prick who insults you and asks my girl if she wanted a pap smear 👎👎👎👎

I can expect to spend half a day, once a month to pick up my prescription because they are so slow and disorganized

I have been seen late foe most of my prenatal appointments. Last time I was here I waited 20 minutes after my appointment to be seen, even though I arrived 30 minutes early to check in. The following time my doctor called in and I had to reschedule for today. Then today the same, I arrived 20 minutes early to sign in and an hour after my appointment was scheduled I still havent been seen by my doctor.
