Every washing machine is very dirty and no one serves. I will not come again And Steal my time

Its in the ghetto, so its not your average normal laundromat lol I mean Ive been going here since high school Im now turning 24... 😅 I love this place, I grew up here.

If I could give zero stars I would if I could give negative stars I would this place has gone so far downhill since Rita left it is not even funny the so-called free dry yeah if you can find a machine that works and that I don’t know maybe has the glass still inside of it I paid for dryers that didn’t work for dollars down the drain because the attendant was on her phone and doing everything else besides her job I will never do my laundry add another spin cycle this was the worst experience I have ever had in my life for the money that I spent here the $60 it took me to do my laundry here I could’ve gone to a very nice laundromat and gotten all my laundry done the right way and actually dried the first time WORST LAUNDRY EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! Not only that but the attendant locked my 12 year old daughter out of the laundry mat at 8:30 according to the posted hours they’re open til 10....nice real nice!!!!!!!

Dirty, Roaches Everywhere! No One Working There, Washing Machines Dirty! City Needs to Do Close Place Down!

Very very disappointed in myself for even being at this laundromat it is disgusting its dirty tore down this place shouldnt even be open its very sad that the owners think people should wash in this condition whoever owns this place they need to be shut down

This place is so disgusting and hardly any of the washers/dryers work. Walking in, there are towels and puddles all over the floor because of how many washers are leaking. Only 1/4 of the change machines work. None of the soap dispensers to buy laundry soap work. 4/5 of the washers we tried didn’t work. Even the crack heads were telling me how terrible it is and that they started one of the washers AND ROACHES CRAWLED OUT. they said management won’t answer or even go to the business during business hours.This place is truly awful.🤢🤢🤢

There is no attendant so there’s nobody to regulate the people coming and out so people smoke inside the building and no regulation on the laundry that people just leave in the washer and dryers. It is messy and they have free dry after wash but more than 50% of the dryers are broken!

Washing is $5.00 and $3.00 and drying is free. However this place is crawling with roaches, half of the dryers are out of order, and there was no attendant on duty at 3:00 in the afternoon and it was so hot it was miserable. No air on at all. I dont think Ill be back to this location.

Pretty large facility with pricy washers. 20 quarters for a med sized front loader warm wash. Free dry. Pretty clean. Nice machines. Has games for kiddos. High traffick.

Hi I Am Leaving 3 Stars Because One Of Your Washer Doesnt Have Enough Electricity In It And It Was Dexter Double Load Washer But My Clothing Was Fine its Just That Theres Not Enough Electricity In It And It Was Washing Very Slow And Your Double Load Dexter Washer Was Not Normal. There Is A Lot Of Dryers That Are Broken As Well.

Most of the dryers are broken or the door to it is missing. A man was or probably still is fast asleep on the ground and the place was kinda gross and run down. I used to go there all the time and its just a mess now but at least its free dry.

We just recently had our washer fail and this is the only laundry we take our clothes too free dryers get me everytime

Disgusting place machines never wash very well. Also one of the machines said 38 coins, or something close to that amount. When I explain to the lady working there, who almost only speaks Spanish almost no english and is extremely rude to non Spanish speaking customers, she called me a liar and then just walked away. I have my own washing machine at home! It just happened to be broken at the moment and I was waiting to replace it on my next check. Im not some slum person trying to make an extra five dollars. She refused to help me or file a complaint form of any sort whatsoever, as well as refused to give me her name. If I ever need to use a laundromat again, I will never choose this place and I do not recommend it to anyone! Theres hundreds of other places to do your laundry.

Well Ive been to this spin cycle laundromat several times. Every time Ive been in there theres more washers broken down and dryers. Whoever is managing this spin cycle laundromat needs to start paying attention to business. I need to start getting their washers and dryers fixed right away. But overall its a good place to do your laundry plus its free drying. I might go back or I might not.

Someone took my clothes and they were in the dryer someone took them my mom and dad and my baby Nephew and mine clothes was in the dryer. The clothes was in the dryer wet and the workers was not here

Roaches crawling around, over 1/2 of the machines are broken, and there was water and trash all over the floors. The restroom is locked with a sign that says please see attendant for key, yet there was no attendant in sight the entire 5 hours I was there. It toil 4 hours for me to finish 3 loads of laundry because the dryers dont work properly. I do not recommend coming to this location.....

If you need to save money, this is a good place to go because the dryers are free and the lady that works there, I give her a thumbs up. That concludes my positive reviews on this place. This place is run down: old, dingy with too many broken machine; the seats outside should accommodate six customers but instead only three- the last time I checked; and whats with those out-dated arcade games that no one uses. Dont even think about using that seedy restroom it makes you want to take a shower. Roaches everywhere even in the washing machine so be careful not to take any home with you. I heard roaches can give birth to new ones even in death. If youre looking for good clean, well maintained, brightly lit places to wash that I have used and continue to use, here are my suggestion: On San Mateo near Walmart called, Laundromat Wash and Fold, its open 24hrs, they have a nice guy that works there all night keeping the place clean. The door is locked at night. So when you go you have to ring a button to be let in or the custodian will see you drive up from your headlight and let you in with a device he carries with him. This place doesnt have the small white machine. Only the round silver machines. I use the smallest ones which cost $3.00. The dryers .25. it takes me three quarters to get my clothes completely dry. This place has glass walls most of the way around. An area with about six small table and junk machines to relax and get fat while you wait. About three wall mounted TVs. They also provide free☕, If none is prepared just ask, the employees seems accommodating. They have about four different change machine. One will change your large bills into small bills and so forth. Congrats to the owner (s), they definitely had customers service in mind. Another place l like is called, The Laundry Mat, this one is on Gibson next to family Dollar. It well maintained, bright, TVs, snack machine, restrooms. Bus number 157 will drop you off just about in front. what I dont like about this place is you have to buy a card to use the machine and I think it opens at 8:00 am. That too late for me, I like the get that chore out the way early. The last place on my short list is on Central called, Wash Tub Laundromat, I use this place to do my laundry my first week in Albuquerque and if I lived closer I would continue to use it. Well thats it. Although Im sure there are plenty more good or better Laundromat around - these are the only ones Im familiar with.

Ever since I moved to ABQ I got to say this is my favorite laundry. Its a laundry its understandable when things dont get done but Alicia always tends to have her things always together. Always working, helpful kinda and gets along with everyone. Shes funny and honestly knows her job well. The laundry mat is always great when I come and shes there 🤗🤗🤗

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I washed a bunch of clothes and blankets. When they finished, everything was cold washed when I put hot. The dryers shrank all my clothes! The laundry mat is dirty and there is roaches everywhere even where you fold clothes. Which makes sense because the attendant was locked away on her phone the whole time. Half my clothes had chocolate on them because someone put chocolate in the wash machine. ALSO it says free dryers WITH WASH! There was a couple who came straight in, pretended to put clothes in the washers next to me, and then proceeded to take up 6+ dryers and only have maybe 3 or 4 items in each! When I got home the next day, my boyfriend and I magically woke up with bites on our faces and arms? What is this place?!

Alicia is the one reason I come to this place! She’s friendly and she is always cleaning and asking if anyone needs any assistance! I only come on days she is working. It is not easy being in this area however there is armed security which does help a lot!!! Don’t forget the positive side of this place.. anywhere you go in Albuquerque there is going to be problems. How you handle it is up to you! There is only so much people can do. This place is kind enough to have free dry in a bad area! Wonder how many people try to take it for granted!? Before putting a place down see what good is going on..

I’ve been coming to this laundromat for a few years now && I love the free dry but alycia is also one of the only reasons I continue to come back! She’s extremely helpful. She does her job and knows her job very well. She treats all her customers with respect and goes out of her way to help them..

The lady that works is always helpful and is in a great mood everytime i go in. Ive been going there for my laundry needs for almost 3 1/2 years. I wont go anywhere else. You have,a great employee, keep up hiring people like her.

I would give a higher rating except the atmosphere here is one that suggests a sinister plot going on with lots of deception occuring. The machines that are in disrepair are marked crudely and inappropriately. This place has housed and knows evil. Beware. A great value though with the free dry and all. $2 for a standard size washer.

I dont know where to start describing how terrible this place is. About half of the machine are out of order. Its filthy. There is no attandent availeble in the middle of the day, so when the machine are a full $5 worth of quarters there was nothing to be done. There is a sign on the wall that saws fill out this form for a refund, but there are no forms in the box. I want to say bad service, but there is no service. There is a sign the says for complaints and..... and just stops there.

The place is disgustingly dirty. The washers have soap from years of not being cleaned. About half of the washers are out of order. They say free dryer but charge more for washing so drying really is not free. There are people outside begging for change. The owner of this place should be ashamed of himself, he does not deserve to own a business and make money. I suggest going to The Laundry Mat on Gibson much cleaner and more friendly employees. Unfortunately i heard the owner of the spin cycle bought it so it will not be that way much longer.

Bad area not for u to bring ur kids make sure you go during the day becuz u never know what could happen to u at night.. Very scary! Homeless, addicts, dangerous area etc.. If ur a female alone make sure u know how to protect urself, carry some pepper spray, knife, etc etc.

About a month ago, I wrote a complaint to the management for the complaints box. Yesterday, I noticed that there were only a couple washers and dryers that were out of order. One of the reasons I chose to write a complaint, it gets so busy on sundays, and the customers had to fight over dryers, because there were like 15-20 dryers out of order. But I’m happy to see that has been fixed, minus a handful of dryers. My husband and I enjoy going to this laundromat when a particular employee is working, she asked not to name her, but she knows who she is. This employee try’s her hardest to help customers and to keep the laundromat clean, which as a customer I appreciate that! I gave four stars because I have been a regular for 6 six years and have seen this place in the ups and downs. Yes, it’s in a bad area, but they provide free dry with your wash, and everyone who has used a laundromat, knows how expensive drying can become.

Last wash at 11. Open till midnight, but if you get there 5 minutes after 11, and beg the worker at the door to let you in, that you only want to wash your clothes, not even dry them, she will turn you away, and say no way. Probably orders from higher ups, but seriously, this place is not open until midnight, this place is open till 11. And there is no room for exceptions. Im just a tired college student trying to get my clothes washed.

Of course this is ABQ so I understand the homeless people to an extent and the environment but in saying this not everywhere on Central is ghetto or trashy but this place is well kept for the size and one employee taking care of it at the time . There is one worker here on the weekends who is always cleaning and keeps the place looking great, cant help on the area there will always be those people but overall the place is as clean as it possibly could be. Honestly

Ive been using this place for a while, and just today, the attendant told me i couldnt take my bike inside. Nevermind that spin cycle makes no reasonable accommodation for bike parking. Nevermind that the place was nearly empty and I was not interfering with other customers. Time to find a new laudromat.

This review is mostly for Alycia, who works on Sunday mornings and most holidays. Weve been going to Spincycle for years and Alycia makes me feel appreciated for my business. She is always very friendly and accommodating, an excellent asset to Spincycle and the community. She is very aware of her surroundings and the neighborhood.My wife and I could go to any laundromat in the area. However, with Alycia at Spincycle, this is our choice. I have been going to SpinCycle on San Pedro for 3 months. On Friday Septembet 30th, 2016, 6:10pm, I put in 2 loads separate loads using the small white washers. Both loads were medium, not filling to the top, with tshirts, 2 pairs of pants, and nothing bulky. I sat out side to wait. At 6:45, I came in, and one washer was finished, but the other was filled with water but not working. This load was half full with one pair of jeans, a bath towel, one pair of mens dickies pants, and the rest was 6 pairs of womens under ware, and 2 bras. Nothing bulky or heavy. I asked the attendant Esperanza Perez why it stopped if it wasnt full and had a small load. She opened it and took out my husbands one pair of jeans, and said that one jean is too heavy so you over loaded it. I said, no its not even full, or heavy. Esperanza, said well its your fault. I thought maybe she didnt speak English well, so I explained to her in Spanish. She said again that its my fault. I asked her to reimburse me for another wash in the next machine, since its the machine that stopped working. I had the same amount in the other identical machine- and it washed fine. Esperanza, said, no, we wont reimburse you! I asked her to call her manager. She called her manager Rita, and I explained. Rita asked me to try and rearrange the clothes and hit start- but it didnt work. Rita had Esperanza allow me a free wash in the machine next to it. I thanked Rita over the phone. Esperanza was very reluctant and pulled the phone out of my hand, and walked off very aggravated. She started the new machine for me, and told me to move my clothes into it. I began to lift my wet clothes that were sitting in water in the anointing machine, but she got angry that water was dripping on the floor. I told her sorry. I turned to get more clothes out, but she blocked me with her body and would not allow me to get my clothes. She just kept saying in English Please! With her hand in my face, and would not let me get my own clothes. I said in Spanish, I can get my own clothes and again she blocked the washer and began taking my clothes out to put them in the other washer. She was really mad - but water was dripping regardless. I said to her, excuse me but I dont like people handling my personal underware, can you please allow me to get my own clothes.! She said no, and blocked me from the machine and was in my personal space in my face. There were 2 men at the next washer and she lifted my bra and underware up in plain view. It was so embarrassing!!! I felt bullied, and wasnt going to get into a physical altercation over clothes. She was so rude. I called the emergency number on the wall, and spoke to security, and he said he would call Rita. I waited for another 20 minutes, but Rita never called me back. I called the security number again, and the same man said he was working there at the laundry, and was busy, and there was nothing else he could do for me, and hung up. Ive never received a call back from Rita. Ill be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and writting a letter to the owner.

Its has free dryers but they allow ppl to use 12 dryers for 3 washers and ppl end up waiting for them to finish. Then ppl leave cloths in dryer in attended for too long while others wait.

Came at 9:48pm oct 24th, 2016 .. on google the manager replied to a review stating they close doors at 11 but doors were locked before that even tho it says they close at 11 on atrisco

This place always has some machines broken.

26 dryer not working and it looks like they have not for a long time. It is very frustrating with that many and you have to wait for one to open up. There are not that many people there but because there are so many out you still have to wait

The attendant worker was extremely nasty rude. I tried to ask her for change for smaller bills and she came back at me with a snarky remark and walked away. And I tried to ask her another question and she glanced at me, smacked her gum, and continued to walk right past me and walk to the other side of the building to play on her phone.I’m not from Albuquerque, So I was not familiar with how the machines worked.
