Sunset Dental is the best. Dr. Ngo and his team of highly skilled dental technicians and hygienists are well equipped to handle anything. From getting x-rays, a cleaning, 3 cavities filled and two chips redone, I can recommend you to give them a try. And yes, they accept Medicaid. That itself deserves a 6th star. But for now, I give them 5 out of 5.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, quick to help to have a great experience. It is the dentist after all! The dentist and his assistants were very patient in explaining procedures and constantly asked if I was ok. All in all I would recommend Sunset Dental to anyone.

Highly recommended Dr.Ngo and Sunset Dental!!! He is very knowledgeable and courteous. He helped my dad extracted 2 wisdom teeth this morning and it went quickly with little to no pain. The entire staff working at this office are very professional and friendly so you can feel more calm and at ease even if you have dental fears. They would take their time explaining to you about the procedure in details and what they going to do to help with your dental problems. The office is very spacious and clean. My dad still has to come back for more works done and he actually said hes looking forward to his next appointment with Dr. Ngo and his team!

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I was seen by Barbara and she did a great job on being kind and careful. I loved that she checks in with me to see how I am doing through the process and that she provides education for prevention skills. I would highly reccomed this location. I needed to get a root canal done. I live in Santa Fe and the soonest I could get one done would have been August 3rd. Dr. Ngo and Sunset Dental was referred to me by my cousin who also had to get a root canal done. I do have a cousin that works there also. This was just an initial appointment to talk about a root canal. Turns out there was a cancellation and I got my root canal done the same day! Dr. Ngo and his whole staff are awesome. They’re all professional, considerate, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

The staff here are so much kinder than I imagined. The dentist and assistants are so nice and patient with my 2 small boys. I highly recommend coming here for kids dentistry.

Its always a bit nerve-racking switching dentists. My previous dentist and I were forced apart due to insurance reasons, but luckily she referred me to Dr. Ngo at Sunset Dental. Dr. Ngo and his entire staff were so friendly that I felt at ease right away. They got me into a chair really quickly and even squeezed me in to have some work done that I thought I was going to have to have done later this year. They were gentle and efficient and got me out of the chair just as fast. I dont have kids, but it looks like a great place if you do. They have really cool Marvel decorations everywhere and even have small TVs on the ceiling to distract your little ones during their dental work. So cool! Anyway, if you cant tell, I absolutely recommend Dr. Ngo and Sunset Dental. Thank you doctor and staff!

Great job on my teeth nice and clean the bathroom is clean but. Sure could use. a antibacterial hand soap and a automatic soapDispenser and a automatic papper towel dispenser.

They did a great job with my cleaning and I thought they were knowledgeable.... I have bad teeth from a bad relationship in the past and meds I take. I was on board with them and really happy until they destroyed my front teeth by drilling too much and then insisted I needed 4 crowns to cover their mistakes. My insurance company would not cover it because they drilled down past the gum line. The insurance company told me that dentists do this to make more money from the customer. Because after drilling that far the tooth is going to fall out within a few years. Thanks....

I had a really good experience at sunset dental they seen me really fast I seen several different employees cleaning and sanitizing there equipment/office every chance they got!!! It was super clean in there!! Everyone was really nice and professional the doctor his self was really gentle on my mouth took out two teeth kept asking me if I was OK every few minutes and really cared about how I felt and if I was comfortable his work was great his personality was great you can tell he took pride in what he did his assistance or nurses for a really nice they answered every single question I had and they took their time with me I will be going back over there for future work Honestly I have to say this was one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to I literally had absolutely nothing bad to say about this place everything was positive

Office was in OSHA standards ! Everything properly sterilized, sanitized and disinfected! Neat and organized ! Front desk is friendly ! The new Hygienist was very gentle, kind and knowledgeable! You can tell this is something she loves to do and has an amazing attitude! I started coming to Dr Ngo 6 mos ago for a second opinion after having a unprofessional and rude Dr diagnose “cavities” that weren’t there. Which is something Dr Ngo would never do ! Ive been going to Family Choice Dental for a few years and the office has recently been spruced up. Although the curtains in the treatment area were probably installed to hinder viru s transmission, they also offer greater patient privacy. The service has always been good and professional.

I came in as an emergency walk in, felt very comfortable.i had to lose a tooth and was pretty upset, hit me outve nowhere but the gals AND dentist were so extremely comforting... Its close to home so kids n I will be switching over to this location! Great job guys!Update: They had me write that review before I was seen (for some sort of incentive I dont remember). The dentist absolutely BUTCHERED me. He pulled out a bottom molar and in the process, he ripped apart the inside of my cheek and lower gums as far down as he could. Then I noticed he wasnt just putting stitches. He was like, nope just hand me the whole roll of thread, because he was SEWING the inside of my mouth! Sewing not stitching, ripped gums all the way up the side of my cheek! It was awful and painful. And now 2 yrs (or more) later, my cheek and lower bottom lip is numb, STILL. It hurts and tingles occasionally and simple tasks like brushing my teeth or putting on lipstick absolutely kills me. Avoid this place if you can and absolutely do not send your kids here!

Very great dentist office! Prices for uninsured patients is what caught my attention. Because of that I honestly wasn’t expecting very great service. However, I have not been disappointed one time! The office is definitely set up to make kids feel more comfortable but I’m not opposed to watching a movie while having my teeth cleaned either!! My kids enjoy the office and the staff very much!

The hygienists have done a great job cleaning my teeth and checking for oral health. I saw the dentist on my first visit and appreciated the time he spent answering my questions and suggesting treatment options. I’ve found my dental practice!

Our oldest child had braces put on like a year or so and Dr. John has done a magnificent job. Shes at the last stage where they are almost off and her teeth look fabulous. Every time my family and I have had an appointment, Dr. John and his staff have been very polite, friendly and professional. We love coming here. I recommend it. Its a very friendly environment. I recently moved from Beverly Hills, CA and needed to find a new dentist. That needed to meet my high expectations of cosmetic dentistry. Im a very nervous patient because I had some horrible experiences with other dentists. Dr. Green turned out to be exquisite. He answered every question I had and has been very accommodating and easy to work with. I felt welcomed at the Family Choice Dental office by the entire team. The results of my treatment has been splendid! I finally feel like I can smile without being embarrassed. If anyone needs a dentist, I wouldnt hesitate to call Dr. Green!

Hands down the best dental experience(s) I’ve ever had. They really take care of you here making sure you’re comfortable and pain free! The girls both up front and in the back are super nice and knowledgeable! So far I’ve had a cleaning, 6 fillings and re-bonding of a permanent retainer that had come loose. Dr. John has made sure all of my treatments have been painless!! Dr. John is awesome! I’m getting my wisdom teeth out next week! They do it ALL here! I have more work still to be done to my mouth and I have 100% confidence that those appointments will go just as great! My two boys (2&5) also come here and they’ve had great experiences too! The people here are very nice and kind. They do a wonderful job with kids and they always take such goo care of them while they are there. Although my little brother dislikes the dentist they always take good care of him and they are always welcoming. When he is crying they still manage to calm him down en6to got the job done. I also have been a patient for several years now and although Im older they still treat me so kindly. The environment here is directed towards kids and is extremely welcoming with the beloved Disney and Pixar characters from my childhood.

(My oldest is 18 now) A few years ago I started going here when they opened to adult patients and have been treated so great by the staff both up front and in back. Trang is my hygienist and shes very thorough with her work. I am not exactly the best at keeping up with my cleaning schedule regularly but the scheduling staff always made it easy for me to schedule, reschedule with reminder calls which I greatly appreciate every time. This has been my go to dental needs for the past 5 years

I came here last many different times from April to July of 2019. The dentist diagnosed me and said I had 10 teeth that needed to be worked on. They did really deep fillings on 3 teeth on my right side that completely destroyed my bite and now I have pain on my left side because of how the teeth are hitting. I then ended up with a cracked tooth on my left side and the dentists wouldnt do anything. I kept going in and telling them that it hurt multiple times to the point that I was in absolute pain. They just kept shaving them down but just made it worse and worse. I ended up going to another dentist and finally here at the end of the road, that tooth with a crack needed a root canal and a crown because it had developed a abscess that was causing severe pain. If I hadnt left, I probably would have to be pulled at this point. The xray equipment is very outdated. Probably like 1990s machines if not older. The hygienist were ok. Like they kind of cleaned my teeth. I felt like the only nice lady I met was the one processing my payments for the shoddy dental work they did to me. The rest were kind of fake and didnt have very warm, friendly personalities.Every time I went in, I saw a different dentist every time. No one knew what was going on. When they did the deep fillings, I was shocked after because they didnt tell me they were going to go that deep and now I pretty much have a shell for one of the teeth. It looks horrible since you can see the grey from the front of my smile. In my experience, if you have to go that deep, it most likely needs a crown, which I find it surprising that they were not able to deduce that when they did it. Im glad they didnt do a crown so that a dentist who does know what he is doing can do it for me instead, and maybe I wont have to do a root canal on that tooth any time soon. The other teeth that these dentists worked on also need work just so I can get my correct bite back.One of the dentist told me that a crowned tooth I had (previously crowned before I came to family choice) was done correctly, even though I explicitly told him I feel pain in that tooth. He told me that it was probably the teeth around it that were causing it pain, and he said it in a smug, you dont know what youre talking about, tone. I remembered when he said it because I was shocked and that shouldve been my first warning to NOT go forward with his horrible treatment advice. Well you know what really was going on? It was infected and had bone loss because of the infection. Yet the dentist at family choice couldnt see that because his x-ray machine was outdated. Honestly he probably didnt care. Like I felt like the dentists at this place didnt actually care enough to actually treat my teeth and instead made up nonsense and had me pay into their company so they can continue to ruin other peoples teeth. Like you only get adult teeth once. I just dont understand why they wouldnt just tell me they cant help me and turn me away instead of causing me more pain than I had to begin with. I get they need money, but why not focus on your advertising instead of making up dental advice to help you cash in on insurance claims. Worse dental care ever. Like why be a dentist if youre only good at being a dental hygienist.

I understand that this place is affordable. But if you pay cheap you get cheap. Parents are not aloud in the back with their children, my daughter stated that one of the techs told her to be quiet and deal with it while they were pulling her tooth. My boyfriend took my child to her appointment and they pulled a tooth with out my consent. He was not on the list to make any decision. They pressured my boyfriend to get his tooth pulled-at that moment in time it sounds very important, but please get a second opinion before you make any decision. You never get to speak with the actual dentist only the techs. They use mercury fillings even though it’s a low amount do your research. Comfort dental is amazing and more personal, caring, you have direct contact with the dentist. They TAKE MEDICADE!!! Please people do your research. They were super accommodating!! My appointments were originally at 1 and 2 for a cleaning a feeling but they were able to move me to a soon filling appointment due to other commitments I had. They worked quickly and it was super painless. I love coming here.

Dr. Eric Myers is simply the BEST dentist I have ever experienced in my entire life. The staff are all incredible! They have nitrous oxide and other sedation that will make your visit as comfortable as possible. Plus they even have movies you can watch while getting your work done!

This is where I go and personally it’s very good! Everyone is very nice and kind and it’s clean . I would refer going here, because they are fast easy and they explain everything to you about your teeth and it’s great !

Family choice formally known as kids choice dental is amazing. Dr. ERIC Myers is the most amazing dentist. They always treat me with respect and now a night guard on the house because I cant afford it for my lil sister who keeps getting lock jaw. Thank you Dr. Myers that is truly kind and really appreciated. I have been been bringing myself and my family for all visits and treatment for over 8 years. They are the best in New Mexico. This place is excellent! My two children had work done here today and the service was great. The staff was kind and made my children feel comfortable and happy. They were able to watch a movie while the work was being done and we got to stay in the room. Definitely recommend this place to anyone with children who want a friendly and professional place.

Dr. Myers is great! The staff is nice and made me feel comfortable! I had a wisdom tooth pulled and I was terrified but they made me feel less nervous and everything happened so quickly I couldn’t believe I was done. I am definitely recommending to my family and friends and going back.

I had an amazing experience last week at Family Choice Dental! I have never had a better experience with a dental office before. Very friendly staff. I showed up a few minutes early to my appointment, and I was called back almost immediately. Mary, Leslie and Lauren did a great job of prepping me and telling me what I could expect from this visit! No sooner than they could finish, Dr Kelly came in to numb me. A few minutes after getting numb, she came back and finished the work on my tooth. Dr. Kelly is an amazing dentist! She was very friendly and informative. She finished quickly but I never once felt like I was rushed! I would definitely recommend this office for anyone needing a dentist!!

Took my 3 year old daughter here. Lauryn the assistant did really well with making sure my daughter felt comfortable and made everything not so scary. Dr. John also made her feel less scared and kept me informed on everything they were doing, he also answered all my questions. I will be returning myself, highly recommended for families and kids.

My daughter has been a patient here for a couple of years, and theyve always done a fabulous job with her. So, when I started having some tooth pain I called them up and was able to make an appointment for the very next day! Every associate I spoke with from the initial phone call to the end of the appointment was professional, kind, warm, and understanding. I was pretty anxious, but Andrea G, Jamie, and Dr. Noyes were so wonderful. I opted for Nitrous throughout the extraction procedure (do it!) and chose to watch the movie they had playing. Dr. Noyes was able to address a separate issue not directly related to the tooth that really helped me out. I highly recommend this office and I will definitely be back! Thank yall!
