I had no problem with the haircut of the stylist. My problem is the fact that the owner does not allow tips via credit cards for the stylist, the online system of booking an appointment will not let you pick a stylist and when calling they do not answer the phone nor return a call to set up an appointment with a specific stylist.Nothing like trying to use a business that is stuck in the 90’s.I’ll continue to go to use the stylist I like, but having to go back after a cut because I forgot to bring some extra cash in this day and age is unforgivable.

I used to see Jamie here and she did a wonderful job. I called a couple months ago and said I needed to make an appointment for a haircut and color for me and a cut for my daughter. I gave the person who answered the phone my name and contact information and she said ok yep, I have you here, I can get you in with her on Tuesday. Which to me implied getting me in with Jamie. I showed up to the appointment and checked in and was told Genna would be helping me. I asked what happened to Jamie because I knew she had been there forever and was an instructor at the academy and was told she just quit, I dont know.Ok. I was there, I figured Id go ahead with the appointment. I bleached my hair during covid and got it cut at great clips for 25 bucks so it was in rough shape. I explained I wanted the bleached section colored close to my natural color (I had 4 inch roots) and to cut layers so it wasnt so puffy. Genna colored the bleached section one color and my roots another color and everything faded completely in 2 washes. She didnt add layers and cut my hair all one length so it looks like a helmet or a mushroom.They stopped taking credit card tips at some point and we had to venmo the stylist so I went through my venmo, found Jamie and sent her a message.I made an appointment with her at her new studio Wicked Hair ABQ. I told her what Toni & Guy said and she told me she gave 6 weeks notice and they wouldnt allow her to contact her clients. She told me Genna wasnt even allowed to color hair when she left and she was so sorry about my experience.I hate being lied to and the fact that the person making my appointment was sneaky and made it seem like my appointment would be with Jamie and then it wasnt, bothered me. The fact that Genna lied and said Jamie just up and quit, bothered me. And then Genna didnt listen to me and didnt cut my hair correctly and probably used semi permanent color so that Id have to come back in 6 weeks for a touch up at an appointment she was adamant about me scheduling then and there ie. spend more money at the salon, well that also bothered me.If you were a client of Jamies Google wicked hair ABQ. Shes still working in Albuquerque and she would love to see you again.

Disappointing for a $50 haircut. I was expecting someone with more vision🤔 an assertive professional if you will. I went in with my hair washed and unstyled and felt immediately judged. I chose T&G for an EXPERIENCE, as we are new to Albuquerque and instead got my ear talked off of how I shd wash my hair only once a week and how uneducated I am to be applying my own color 🤦🏻‍♀️ i was given Shirley temple curls and asked if I liked my cut by the salon director..well, I can’t see it?? She then asked if I was not used to my hair being curled 🤔 b@$&?😄🤦🏻‍♀️

First time going to Toni&Guy and had a good experience. I got my hair done by Sheena L. and really like that she listened to me on how I wanted my hair. She is really nice and accommodating. I decided to bring my boyfriend because he was in really need of a haircut but was reluctant to see just anyone because he was not getting the cut he wanted. I made an appointment online, completely hassle free. I showed up on time and Sheena did a wonderful job on his hair. She cut his hair in the exact style he wanted and made good decisions in making the cut personable to him. She is good at what she does and gives helpful hair care advice. The place is nice, welcoming and clean.

Alyssa Nieto did and wonderful, fabulous, outstanding job with my daughters hair. My daughter absolutely loves it.

Crystal at Toni & Guy saved me today! I had an appointment with another salon who bailed on me right before a big event that I have to attend tonight. I walked into Toni & Guys and Crystal immediately said she could help me. She was genuine, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! She did a fantastic job on my hair and her prices were very reasonable. They have a new loyal customer!

Eryn was great. I have thick and curly hair so its hard to find someone to cut it correctly. She did an amazing job!! The salon is friendly, and clean. I will be going back again!!

My experience with this salon was very disappointing. They literally botched my highlights. I asked for natural medium blonde highlights, no gold or red hues. After 5 hours of them trying to fix their color mistakes, I left with medium to dark red highlights. I’ve had highlights in my hair for many years so I’m familiar with the process. In retrospect this experience felt less like an established salon and more like a training center. I do agree with other reviews, the stylists are nice.

Kourtney is amazing. She found my curl with the right cut and always makes me feel like a star!

Jinhee Lim at Toni & Guy was amazing! She was so sweet, listened to my requests and concerns, looked at my Pinterest hair photos (more than once), gave styling advice about the new hair cut she gave me, and gave me a head massage during the hair wash!! Amazing, relaxing, beautiful studio, and very reasonably priced! Ill definitely return.

Unprofessional and rude. My daughter goes here and you usually have to wait 10-15 minutes before anyone even acknowleges your presence. No one to greet you and the front room is empty.

Horrible manager. Blonde hair. Fake nails. Fake everything. They cant keep an employee. Someone different every week. Stylists are amazing but they only get 40% of their sales. Most salons start at 50%. Owner needs to sell. Stylists hate the owner. And the manager. They openly talk about them. NEGATIVITY. DONT PATRONIZE.

Better than Marck Pardo with better prices and the stylists are nice and seem happy to see their clients. Hair cuts could be a little cleaner but over all fair.
