Drove across town because their hours listed here were that they were open until 6 on Sunday. Got there and the door a locked and their sign said 10 yo 2 on Sunday.

Vicks gives my grandson his haircut cut, my grandson is special needs and mostly cries when he gets his haircut, but vick is very patient with my grandson and gives him a fresh cut everytime 😀

Im new to the area, googled barbershop near me.. brought me here. This place is hands down the best in town! I got a razor fade and face shave with hot steam towels! Theres 3 barbers Jaime Sr, Jaime Jr, and Rocky. From what Ive seen, they all do a great job. Experienced barbers who know what theyre doing. Ive been to the other barber shops on 98th and they all seem to be fresh out of barber school. If youre looking for a great cut at a reasonable price, this is the place!

I got to say that this is one of the top worst barbershops in Albuquerque. I am shocked that it has almost five stars and I do know that most of these are probably forced ratings. I went here and I felt the presence of an unsafe environment upon arrival. Not even a smile or a welcome.The person that cut my hair was mean and not nice at all. I felt depressed and scared for my life after leaving this barbershop. It’s not a pleasant feeling at all. I would advice to stay away from this place. If it’s a professional family owned business act by it and do not make customers feel unsafe and threatened.

I went when they were supposed to be open they were closed. I called, left messages and no response. So the one star is based on the wrong hours on their sign and online and that they dont call customers back. They could have the greatest cuts for all I know.

I got there at 2:35pm I saw the sign that said “out to lunch be back at 3:00” so I said that’s fine I’ll just wait the 25 min for them to get back, so I waited the 25 min then I waited another 30 min and still no one showed up.

This is the spot for that razor fade with a straight razor! Great service and great customer service! Keep up the great work! This is my barbershop of choice!

I have been to barbershops all over the country and all over Abq and these guys are some of the most professional, hardworking and humble barbers out there. They welcome you like family and always do a great job. I dont know why you would waste your time and money going anywhere else. These guys are the best. Ill never go to another shop as long as I live here.

Im picky as hell when it comes to my hair. Ive had two barbers in my entire life. I dont let just anybody fade me up I would rather be bald. But I took a chance on these vatos and now Ive got 3 barbers who have been worthy of giving me a fresh one! Amor brothers

Like the other person, new to the area googled what was around and gave them a shot. Very experienced individuals and they take pride in their job. Waiting times can be a little lengthy but, its worth it as they take care of all their customers equally.

DO NOT let the dad cut you hair i have to wear a hoodie everywhere until what he messed up grows back .

The owner is a homie and his son can really cut hair if you tip him. And be respecful and dont ask for cigarettes if you do he will say no.

He did 4 haircuts on my fam in less than the time it took to do one at other places, he left my fam looking clean n nice, he has very good prices aswell. Good music, good personality and he is good with kids. My little guy jojo moves alot but this barber really knows that kids are kids and he was calm n got the job done. This is our new fav place. Its very welcoming, maybe if he had a few chairs out front for the crowd, because I dont think he is gunna lose customers. Also one of my kids has a speech issue n cant speak up n he didnt get loud or imbarress her like other places, he also didnt ask her if she was a boy or girl like other places, instead he lowered his own voice n got the hair cut done.
