My family has been taking our cars to Ricks Auto Repair for longer than Ive been alive. We appreciate how friendly they always are, plus we can always count on them to be honest, reasonable, and fair. Its a small shop so certain things may take a little longer than at some other places, but I never have to worry that Im being duped or paying more than I should for the services Im requesting. We had a check engine light on which prevented us from getting an emissions test done. Rick suggested we clear the light and drive for a bit before spending money to fix what it was saying was wrong (which was not something that was damaging to our car). Our light never came back on and we passed our test. I’m very thankful for his honesty, he could have easily taken advantage of us in that situation. We will be back should we need a mechanic in the future!

Great service. Had to have both front wheel bearings replaced while I was in from out of town. Dropped off my truck at 9:30 on a Friday morning they diagnosed it and had it repaired by 5 pm.

Before coming here I took my car to another mechanic where they were charging me $600, but here they charged me less $60, and my car came out working perfectly. I definitely recommend them, theyre honest and hardworking. You wont regret coming to them.

Beware of this mechanic. Rick installed a part incorrectly which almost ruined my transmission. When I told him about it he denied any error on his part. I am having to fight to get my money back. Plus the shop is a dump.Reply to response: The part was not defective, it is on the car now. The problem was Rick dropped the seal for the solenoid on the splash guard so it had no seal. When I found the seal I installed it CORRECTLY and it has been working fine ever since. The labor is the true issue here.BTW-Rick fought the refund so basically I paid him $60 for nothing. So again, beware of this mechanic.

Absolutely awesome and a life saver.... My family and I were on our way from Missouri to California and blew the oil cooler hose... Rick said he will for it in and had it done and oil change in just a couple hours and see a more than reasonable price..... Thank you guys!

I grew up here at this shop my father Rick has been a mechanic at this location for over 30+ years. Ive seen him do so many great things for customers and create lasting relationships. I work here now alongside him and so far its been an experience that I cant quite put into words, but one word might do. Priceless! If anyone is looking for an honest mechanic, with a lot of experience in Japanese cars (Honda, Acura and Toyota to name a few) do not let me sway your decision, come down and see for yourself.

Rick is the best mechanic in town!!! He is honest and has integrity! He is educated in his craft and has always pinpointed the direct problem with no excuses or up-sales, just truth and solutions! You would be ridiculous if you did not consult with Rick!!

It was my first car couple of things were wrong with it took it here since I saw many great reviews. I didnt think I was going to get charged a lot since it was a locally owned shop. After he fixed it the first time and charged me $362 but I noticed it still was not running great. I called him and he said for me to bring it back. It turns out that some part was broken and needed replacement in the car that he and his son hadnt seen the first time they checked out the car. He ended charging me around $250 more. It was insane and rip off. Please make sure your not being scammed if you decide to go here.

I couldnt ask for better. They were fast, courteous, and fixed the problem. They didnt fix other things unasked for like other mechanics in the past. They didnt over charge me, like other mechanics in the past. They didnt take a week to do a few hour job, like other mechanics in the past. They fixed just the problem, did a great job, charged a fair price and were kind and professional. I wish they were in charge of our medical care system.

I know I am biased since Rick is my father-in-law, but I have been taking my cars to him for the past 15 years. He not only kept my Honda Civic going like it was new, but he is now doing the same with my Chevy Cobalt. He is honest and fair to his customers. He is able to diagnose problems that many shops cannot fix. Rick has many years experience especially with Hondas but he works on just about anything. If you want to be treated like a customer, not a number, take your car to Ricks Auto Repair!
