We ended up with a blow out on the freeway. Our Honda dealer never gave us the special lock nut tool so we couldn’t put on a spare, nor could any roadside service provider. We were then towed to Christian’s automotive, and they were closed, but it was our luck that the owner Ron was there and a few others. He was so kind and was able to get our spare tire on. We were originally on a road trip, he even rearranged all our luggage in our trunk to safely and cleanly place the blown out tire in. He then wouldn’t except any payment from us and just told us to pay it forward in life. He was truly a blessing and a great service in our time of need.

This place is it, will not take my vehicles in ABQ anywhere else. Absolutely the most honest experience Ive had dealing with car issues here. Ask them and they will tell you. Ive not been oversold ever here in fact maybe undersold Ive and been multiple times. I would highly recommend you give them a shot. Not even mentioning the kind woman handling the customer service. Dont go anywhere else Im telling you. They could of charged me for an irrelevant part we noticed was gone and many other places would have.Saved me at least a grand.

I came in with a clutch issue, the quoted me $1100 to fix. Overall it was good service, I just had to bring it back because of a loose bolt. If you are flexible with your time, and willing to give second chances (for human error), this place could be a good fit for you. Brian was friendly and more helpful than the other technicians. The shuttle service was a very nice option. The driver is very friendly!

I broke down in the middle of the road in front of the shop the team grabbed their equipment rushed to get my vehicle out of the road, on top of going above and beyond to get the alternator and get me back on the road safely in literally hours on a Friday late afternoon they did it all with no notice no appt only their kindness to a single mom new to town with no other vehicle... Thank you all for your kindness and you will definitely be my new auto shop

My appointment was at 1 o’clock was to be given a ride home never let me know I was not going to get a ride home sat there for two hours while people coming in and out and working on their cars for omissions and work that had not been done properly was charged $175.00 for sitting there and just went in to top off my air conditioner they were working on my car but did not tell me what it was going to cost until after the fact did not appreciate that two hours for no work done and told me that it was blowing A little cold air but was not took it to another mechanic and had no Freon called them back and told me that It must’ve had a leak but wouldn’t that have been checked out in the diagnostic test which I should’ve been given In the first place before charging me $175.00 even if Bobby knew I had changed out the compressor I should’ve been told about the charge going up when he knew about the Compressor instead I stayed thinking I was going to owe $80.00 or a little over not $175.00

Any place that allows their employees to laugh at potential customers doesnt deserve time or business.

Ive been dealing with Christian automotive and Brian in particular for a couple of years now and believe that a more honest and capable mechanic would not be found. I recently had a clutch assembly and magna flow muffler installed on a 92 bmw 325i. The work was outstanding and actually exceeded my expectations. This is a first rate repair shop, in my view probably the best in albuquerque.

I took my Tacoma to Christians Automotive and Tire for a wheel bearing replacement, and I couldnt have been happier. Christians was recommended by a friend for their honesty and integrity which I found as well. Bobby was upfront regarding timelines and pricing; they even replaced a couple of marker bulbs at no charge. I also asked for an oil change which was done with the same professional level of care as my repair. I will be taking all of vehicles to Christians for future repairs.

When the check engine and battery lights came on, I figured the alternator Id bought 10k miles ago died. They were able to get my car in right away. Confirmed it was the alternator but also checked for other issues to ensure there wasnt an issue that caused it to fail. I had the receipt and they contacted the retail auto shop to use the warranty to save me the cost of the part!They were recommended by a friend and now Ill recommend them to my friends. Fast, honest, fair and it was a pleasure to do business with them.

We have been going to Christians Automotive for over 20 years and are extremely pleased with his work. He stands behind his work completely and always makes things right. We have taken him new and used vehicles that we have bought throughout the years and his shop is competent with both. He kept our 1977 Chevy that we were the original owners of, running beautifully continuously to the day we decided to sell it because it wasnt practicle for our needs. We have shopped around and entertained other mechanics and have found his prices to be very fair and that he does honest work.

They are reasonably priced, will give you an accurate assessment of your vehicle, and will not try to cram unnecessary extras down your throat.The first time we went to him, it was for a comprehensive damage claim on a vehicle, and he even helped us work with the insurance company by providing a statement that in his opinion, the damage looked to be caused by the pot-hole in question.Anytime Im in Albuquerque, Christians is my first stop for anything automotive related.

They repaired the Front Differential in my 2004 expedition in no time. We were moving from Las Vegas to Ohio when the truck broke down just outside Albuquerque. They had us back on the road in one day. I can’t say enough about how friendly and courteous the bunch of people here were. Brian and Bobby were easy to work with and made sure things went smoothly.

Brought our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country in based on the recommendation of a friend. It was failing to start intermittently and it was not part of the ignition system. They diagnosed it initially as a faulty fuel-pump and replaced it. However, the problem persisted two days later and, of course, it happened to my wife while I was not in a position to be able to help. Christians made sure she got to where she needed to be when I could not. They then found that there was a fault in the electrical system which had damaged the fuel pump and was the underlying issue. They corrected that issue at no charge to us because they felt they should have caught it the first time. I cannot speak highly enough of their communication and professionalism throughout. I will be returning even if I have to wait to get in. Very impressed.

Christians Automotive is the best experience ive ever had with a mechanic.I was driving from Flagstaff to Colorado on a bit of a time crunch and along the way my engine started acting funny. I pulled over at a mechanic shop somewhere in Arizona and they told me my engine was fine, so I got back on the road. The problem only worsened and become more frequent.I decided to stop in Albuquerque for the night. Every mechanic I called in the city said they would not be able to get to my car within a week - everyone except Christians. They got me in the very next morning, diagnosed the problem, waited patiently with me while we waited for the part to come in, bought me lunch, and made sure that they got me on the road the very next night meaning I could make it to my sisters high school graduation. I was a stranded traveler and they went out of their way to take care of me and make me welcome.My engine breaking down turned out to be a huge blessing because of the people I met and service I received from Christians Automotive. If I lived in New Mexico, my car would know no other mechanic. I highly recommend going to Christians.

I would rate them Zero if I could but one star was required. I took my car in to Christians because it was down the street and wanted to support the local business. I knew the problem and told them specific instructions on what was wrong. The next day they call me and say its fixed due to a sensor they replaced. I spent 700 and took it for a drive. Within a mile the check engine light went on and I drove it back in. They kept it overnight and then called me saying they could not fix it but went on to quote me $1800 to fix a different part that I knew worked well. They are just a scamming and saying parts are needed to make money. My neighbor also had the same experience. I am just disappointed in their intelligence. If the check oil light comes on, they would quote you for the light bulb.

I have been extremely pleased with this shop for a very long time. I have always been treated fairly and appreciate their kind and professional staff. I refer them often and always get excellent feedback.

I had a 1986 4Runner that the staff at Christians worked on for many years. They were always fair and the work was excellent, the prices realistic. One time I was sure I needed a new alternator. They just had to tighten a belt, alternator was fine. Many places would have just not cared and sold me a new one.Now I have a 2011 Honda Crv and it hasnt needed any real work since I bought it but yesterday it went into limp-home mode for about a mile before I reached home and I immediately called Christians, no hesitation. I find their staff professional and patient because I always have a lot of questions.I had the car towed to their yard yesterday. I am worried why my car went into that mode, it has never run any way but smoothly but I am confident Christians will fix it for me, and at a good price!Patrick P03/05/2016I just had to take my 2011 Honda Crv into Christians Automotive to remove a foreign object (paper towel wad) from the oil fill. I got a quote to replace ball joints and tie rod ends on a 2006 F250 4x4 in early February. Truck still had a small amount of play in steering wheel. Talked with Brian ( service advisor ) they looked at truck and found drag link had a small amount of play. They put in high quality Moog drag link and realigned ( no charge ). Truck is driving straight and has tight steering. I believe they missed the small amount of play in drag link during diagnoses due to other steering parts being in such bad condition. Brian and Christian made things right and I appreciate it. Thanks guys.

This is the last time I take my car to Christians. It was fine when Id go for a simple oil and lube but when I need more serious repairs they come up short. Most recently I took a used car in that needed some service and they accomplished 5 out of 9 tasks. They made one of them worse.I have a mechanic that I absolutely love in Florida. Its obvious he actually cares about the vehicle and the customers and always finds intuitive solutions to car problems. Not Christians. They just do everything by the book, and when its not found in the book, they do a shoddy job.My uncle wasnt happy with them either.

We have been taking our fleet vehicles to Christians Automotive for the last 16 years. Their work is a little more expensive but they provide thorough work and stand behind their repairs. We have several newer and older trucks in our fleet and they do an EXCELLENT JOB on all our vehicles. I also take my personal vehicle to Christians for a great job. My sons truck was overheating and was a recurring issue. A couple of months ago, we took it to another repair shop and they couldn’t find anything wrong. Christians was able to get us in right away due to a cancellation and was able to find root cause and repair problem.

If I could I rate them with no star.Worst place ever. I dont know why I even took my vehicle back. Claimed my truck needed a special part that took forever to come in. Staff is rude especially the owner. Instead of being an honest shop I was almost scammed into spending more than I should. Took my truck to a more honest shop who had my truck all fixed up with a less of a price than Christians and had more repairs as well.Such a shady, untrustworthy shop with a rude staff!!!!

Keep anything other than basic matinence away from these crooks. I told them specifically what I wanted fixed and still charged me for an hour of diagnostics. The best part is I only made it a block down the road.
