These folks got my vehicle in and out of the shop in a single day. It was just a bused radiator hose, but it makes no difference to me, as I do not work on my Volvo C30 T5 turbo. I am a shade-tree mechanic and I do 95% of all the work on my 20 year old Sonoma because I dont need a shop to do it.. I was super happy with the turnaround time, cost, and quality of their work.

I took my vehicle to pep boys to get a new clutch pep boys charge me $1,787.00 and less than a year and a half my clutch was leaking oil. I took my vehicle back to pep boys told me my warranty was up and they cant do anything to fix it... so I took my vehicle to THE Master touch automotive they fix the problem with half the price...... $$$$ and theyre the best in Albuquerque with price customer satisfaction great quality work and very friendly and the best part is family-owned business.....!!P.s never take your vehicle to pep boys they will overcharge you and your vehicle would be broken again less than a year and a half.!!!!!!!!

I pass this place daily on my way to work and noticed they specialized in Volvos, so I kept them in mind. I had a sudden antifreeze/coolant leak and they got me in same day, doing the repair while I worked. They were thorough and also took care of my struts while my car was there. I was very impressed with their knowledge and work and definitely plan to go back again. Ive been looking for a mechanic who specializes in Volvos for years.

Found the owner to be down to Earth, knowledgeable, and honest. He had quoted to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor as part of the other work but took it off the bill because he discovered it wasnt needed.Office is a little messy, dont let that throw you Its a Family business and they take pride in their work. These guys are great. I had them replace an engine in my Chrysler. It’s been six months an not even a hiccup. It was done when they said and was reasonably priced. I went to Thomas with my Volvo and he was quite experienced with the ins and outs of my vehicle. He had know problem telling me what was wrong with my vehicle and what needed to be fixed. Ive taken my Volvo to other places and I never felt as comfortable as I did here. The whole experience of the entire staff there is exceptional. Definitely recommend any Volvo owner go there first.

Thomas is s top flight specialist with Volvo maintenance. He is an agreeable dude, as are his staff and family. Although his shop may need an overhaul, he obviously knows his tools and how to navigate through the maze. I trust him completely and recommend him to all Volvo folks. I leave the shop knowing that he loves his trade, especially working with the Swedish inventory.

I was out in ABQ from Boston and was getting ready to drive the 2,200 miles back when I heard some troubling sounds coming from various places in my Jeep wheels. Master’s Touch diagnosed and fixed my problems quickly, and at a really reasonable cost. Wish they were based in Boston! Highly recommended.

They are always thorough and fair with their assessment of your cars need. They are very easy going and accommodating, which helps when you have a random schedule. I’ve taken both my Honda and Volvo to them, and I will continue to do so.

I am so happy that I found The Master’s Touch Automotive repair shop and I cannot say enough positive things about Nina and Tom. I called Tom in desperation this summer when another repair shop in town suggested I needed a new engine on my Volvo XC90 after I had transmission and oil mixing. Tom took the time to go though the system and clean and flush it thoroughly and it has been running great ever since - no new engine needed. They later quickly diagnosed and fixed an oil leak in the car. They are also great at prioritizing work to make sure the vehicle is safe to drive while spreading out additional repairs/costs that can wait. Their repair rates are very reasonable for high-quality work. I can’t promise that they will deliver such great news to all of their customers, but you will be hard-pressed to find a more honest, thorough, and technically competent shop in the area. I plan to take all of my vehicles there and recommend them to everyone.

Outstanding! Our xc90 broke down 150 miles south in Truth or Consequences. Looked up best Volvo Mechanics in Albuquerque and they were at the top of the list - for good reason! They stayed a little late until we arrived with the tow truck, immediately understood the repairs needed, began ordering parts and had us back on the road by noon the next day. Experienced, honest, fair, and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

From my personal experience, it is a bit pricey. However you get what you pay for. I have taken my Durango to them on two different occasions and when I leave, I couldnt be any happier with with a job well done. Getting some more stuff done on both my trucks, and this is where they are going

I am so grateful for Thomas and his outstanding work/business ethic. Before finding The Masters Touch, I have had ridiculously bad luck with auto shops. A few years back, I purchased a used 1999 V70. I immediately had issues with the car and turned to Internet for guidance on trustworthy auto repair shops. Unfortunately, the Internet can be misleading. I first took my car to IVS and they drained my pockets, while never truly fixing the car. I looked into a different shop and thankfully, found The Masters Touch! I was excited because, not only did they have great reviews, but they also give a 10% discount to college students! I had a very positive experience at The Masters Touch Automotive recently. I took my car to Thomas the mechanic who sat with me and let me know exactly what would be done for my car. I felt assured that my car was in good hands after talking to Thomas. It was diagnosed and repaired in one day. When I picked my car up the mechanics had gone through my whole motor and advised of other repairs that need to be done. The diagnostic fee was very reasonable. I have a new mechanic!

I took my old truck to the masters touch for a diagnostic. Im okay with cars but this truck has issues beyond my knowledge. The guys at the masters touch did a thorough inspection for a very reasonable price in my opinion. They explained what needs to be done and answered all of my questions in detail. Turns out most of it is stuff I can do myself, I just didnt know where to start. I now have a mechanic I can trust who is very reasonable and professional.

Had my first experience with the Masters Touch Automotive today and was extremely impressed. Great people working there, great service by the master technician Thomas, and a very reasonable bill. They probably couldve convinced me my issue was something that wouldve netted them a lot more in revenue (which mechanics have done to me before), but they were straight forward and charged me far less than expected. Car is running superbly now.They give discounts for students, military and teachers. Really a classy operation all around.

This is my new go-to shop for internal repairs. They’re very quick and communicative about exactly what’s being done and how long it will take. I really appreciate this auto shop because it’s taken me two years to find one I like and trust, that will get my car back to me in a reasonable time frame. Repairs that would take a week elsewhere in abq have taken half a day here.

An honest, knowledgeable, reliable and affordable mechanic shop! My 98 Honda Accord named Stacey needs a ton of work, but Tommy helps me prioritize since Im on a tight budget and he takes into consideration the value of the car. My family has been bringing their cars for years and this last time I went in because all Staceys brake lights were out and just replacing the bulbs didnt work. They got me in and out and back on the road SAFE within a few hours and I didnt need to beg and borrow to cover the unexpected cost. Everyone there is kind including Tommy. So yea, this is the place!

I had a P300 code on my Pontiac Grand Prix, which is an invitation for 98% of mechanics to rip you off, especially if youre a woman. My dad is a mechanic, and hes old school. Im NOT a mechanic, but Im not completely naive when it comes to cars either so I shopped around. I went into 7 different shops in ABQ both private, and publicly owned, and asked politely that each and every one of them please shoot straight with me, because mechanics are notorious for ripping women off. They were rude, and vague, and all they would say is, just drop it off, and well take a look. NOT OK WITH ME!! Then I went to Thomas, what a breath of fresh air. He took the time to tell me that he has the diagnostic equipment to tell me which cylinders are misfiring (this I didnt know, and the other shops didnt tell me), he told me that he understood that its hard to be a woman, and be taken seriously when you take your car in. He said that he has 5 daughters, and that he would hate for someone to rip them off. He fixed my car for a very reasonable price. He showed me the diagnostic report, and explained in detail why he did what he did, and he will not do anything without contacting you first. He takes his time to find out exactly what is going on with your car, so dont rush him. Its better to let him do his thing, and get it fixed right the first time. Hes old school. Hes not some young kid just coming out of tech school. Hes been doing this for years, and knows all the tricks of the trade. He will start with the most inexpensive fix first, and work his way up! He knows Volvo inside, and out, and if he can work on those bastards, he can do anything! These qualities are what you need in a mechanic trust me!!! I have found the mechanical needle in the haystack, diamond in the rough, whatever rare analogy you want to use. THIS IS THE GUY!!!!

A friend and I were road tripping back to the midwest from Los Angeles and got into a collision in Albuquerque setting us back a few days. We were originally towed to another place in town that gave us a pretty grim prognosis. Hoping to get back on the road relatively quickly, we called Masters Touch and spoke with Thomas who said he would be in on Saturday (when he usually isnt) and agreed to look at our car.Long story short, he took what the other place was ready to call a lost cause and put in a lot of overtime and energy because he was sympathetic to our cause. He even was able to bump the price of repairs down from $1,100 to $800 and gave us a student discount. He turned what could have been a multi week setback and got us back on the road in a couple days. He didnt try to do anything more than we asked of him which was to simply get the car in a safe enough state to drive back home and he delivered. We made it back safely and are now working on getting the other necessary repairs needed.

Im sure they do good work otherwise, but I had a weird experience getting an oil change here and will not be going back...

My favorite mechanic shop in ABQ. Owner operated and the owner takes the time to explain all of the vehicle issues with you. Has a personal commitment to do the job right and doesnt rush you or the work he does.

This kid was very sleepy with a lot of work in his hands, but still took me. I would have been stranded in New Mexico for quite a bit had he not serviced our car, thank you for the military discount too young man. I made it to California.
