I have nothing bad to say about this place it was a great experience overall. The women at the front desk were nice and helpful. The locker rooms were really clean and well kept. The steam shower was pretty big and the sauna had enough space for one or two people. I enjoyed laying on the comfortable chairs they had in the Relaxation room. The hot tub was spacious so it didnt feel like you were sitting on top of other people. They also have a restaurant and bar that I didnt get a chance to check out

Love this spa! It is definitely pricey though. Im disappointed that they are taking so many lounge chairs from the pool area and replacing them with couches. It was nice to be able to lay back and bask in the sun with a drink. The services are phenomenal, and Im definitely partial to the facials over the massages but thats my personal preference. I wish the robes came in different sizes as well.

This was my first full spa day. My day started with a 50 min massage followed by a 50 min facial. Both services were great! The Quiet Room was the perfect retreat between and after services. The perfect place to get in a refreshing nap. The tranquility of the room was perfect as the waterfall and spa sounds filled the room. The fireplace added just the right touch. Lets not forget the sauna & whirlpool. Oh and lunch was included. The shrimp po boy w/truffle fries was delish!!

I tried twice today to call and add services to an upcoming appointment. Both times I sat in their automated queue for more than 10 minutes before giving up.I don’t understand how you can charge 145 dollars for a 50 minute massage but can’t find enough staff to work your inbound phone lines.

The second you walk in youre taken out of the surrounding area and transported to a relaxing and welcoming environment. The staff was friendly and professional, and I will definitely be going time and time again.

This place is amazing. Not just the vibe of elegance when you walk in from the aesthetics... but also from the staff. Today (7/17/21) I had one of the best experiences from any “service” business I’ve ever had. I had a bit of a personal problem occur and the staff her was INCREDIBLE. I don’t want to go into much detail but i have never been treated with such GENUINE support from people. I don’t have many words because I’m still in shock by how incredible these people are. Everything about this place is amazing. It’s more than a spa. It’s a safe haven.

This is my second time going to Mirbeau Spa and I highly recommend it.Everyone is so professional, so talented and very careful with everydetail, making sure everything is perfect.However, Kiely, the nail technician, stood out the most. . She is meticulous, competent and takes pride in her craft; making the ordinary, extraordinary. (A wise man once said...what ever you do be the best at it, and she is--The Best!

I enjoyed everything about my experience at Spa Mirbeau. Devon did my massage and he was extremely professional yet personable. He has a great vibe. The seafood chowder was excellent. Everything was clean, the towels stayed stocked and I was able to enjoy the steam room, sauna and whirlpool solo.

I was really impressed I went for my first time and I had the 50 minute facial and massage. I really liked how they had separate saunas and steam room for men’s and females locker room and I liked how it was only one person allowed in at a time. It was very clean. The staff was very nice. Amazing Place! I know its hard to find things to do in this area, but Spa Mirbeau goes above and beyond. Nicer than some of the spas in New York City! You dont have to worry about carrying cash or a wallet with you. You can take care of that all at the end.Kind and professional staff, high quality food, clean conditions. I was hesitant at first, but the packages they offer is so worthwhile. A diverse array of people (all races, young, old, men, women, LGBTQ+) come to the spa, so dont be afraid youll be sticking out.

I got a deep tissue massage from Nate, and let me tell ya!!! It was amazing!!! With little information Nate was able to pin point the locations where I was hurting the most and take care of it accordingly, I will never go anywhere else!!!

Terrible experience. I was really excited to go here for a facial with a dermaplane added to it...and because I arrived 3 mins late they in my opinion, took time out of my treatment so I didnt get the full time I booked and they made sure to announce it to the staff that she came late and her appointment was at 2pm. On top of that please see the pictures of my dermaplane treatment.. when she was doing it I could feel it burn and I asked her about it she goes yea Id you have any bumps on your face it will feel irrated its totally normal and I told her my wedding was in 4 days so youd think she would be extra careful not to slice up my face but nope. As you can see from my pics I have slice scars all over from the razor. Definitely never going back for that. Cant speak of the rest of their services.

My husband and I went today to Spa Mirbeau in Crossgates Mall. It was not our first time there. The spa itself is beautiful inside and has wonderful amenities. My husbands says his massage therapist was rushed and missed his problem areas in his back and shoulders which he pointed out to her at the beginning. If he had it to do over again, he would have booked a deep tissue massage, since his therapist stated she can only do light to medium pressure for a signature massage. He also was not happy that a female brought him into the locker room to show him around, and then shortly thereafter brought another male in and placed him right next to my husband in the locker room. Keep in mind, they were the only two males in the spa the entire day. During times of Covid, my husband would have liked a little more distance from the other male to access his locker. She also didnt knock when she came back in and he was just getting out of the shower after using the steam room. The proximity of the lockers between him and the other male meant that the other male could see his password on his locker which again made the whole experience awkward. We have been here several times and have always had a great experience, it just seemed that this time some attention to detail was missing. Overall we both had a great day, lunch was excellent as always. We would highly recommend this spa as well as their other properties. We just hope that some of our constructive criticism will be considered with their future services.

I have personally never been to the spa before, but I really liked the experience I had. Although I can’t compare it to another spa, I think the most unique part of my visit was forgetting that this place existed inside of the mall. I didn’t eat at Le Bistro but did have lunch from the small section inside near the jet tub, which was very large and clean. The spa does offer amenities such as a steam room, a sauna, endless towels, combs, razors, soap, you name it, it’s there!The resting room is where you lounge and wait for your esthetician and it’s very easy to take a nap in there between the relaxing music and fountain. I had a facial and body scrub. I really wanted that Himalayan salt massage but it was not available. I do recommend booking these visits ahead of time. Another important factor is there are individualized lockers available to put your belongings. They offer you a robe and sandals and you are allowed to wear your under garments if you would like to but I advise to not wear it during a body scrub or a clay massage or anything like that because they will get ruined.Overall my experience was very extraordinary and I cannot wait to go back again! I felt like a new woman after my two treatments!

WAY OVERPRICED. I won’t be returning. There are several other spas in the capital region that offer more for less. My 50 minute massage was just ok, and I feel more uncomfortable now than I did before my massage. The quiet room was the highlight, which I can accomplish in my own bedroom with a sound machine. I’ve actually booked a massage elsewhere this week - a 90 minute massage that cost less than what this spa charges for 50 minutes. I am shocked at all the positive reviews.

Staff asks me if its first time to the spa Sunday morning 6/27/21 I say yes, woman proceeds to leave me in the locker room for 20minutes with zero instruction or option. I get a faceless your appointment is ready shouted from seemingly nowhere in a room with 10 doors. When I finally see this person its is for my massage which wasent to notable. I mean Why ask what I want you to focus on durring the massage if your not going to focus on it? ​When the massage ended what felt prematurely I was again left to my own devices with no instruction and a cup of water.After paying** $400** litteraly, what felt like a 35min couples massage. We just left The gratuity felt forced at the register. Yeah they go 20% PER person. NOT A FAN.

Very good very nice but if you take the last appointment as theyre closing you dont get to use the spa. Drop expensive.

Came here from a best friends day pass. The day pass was dated 2019 but went at end of March, 2021, Mirbeau accepted it! Not many Men (saw 4 total including myself lol). Sauna was hot was for 15 mins. Spent most of the time in relaxing room. The water & environment is relaxing. Ate lunch, had French Dip (amazing) then whirlpool for a bit before back to relaxing room. Got busiest around 11-3.

It is a beautiful place with a very calming ambience. However the pricing is ridiculous. I didn’t attend the bistro so I am just speaking on my experience just using the spa and getting a massage. I am originally from the city and I can promise you I have had better for less. My masseuse was very kind and patient with me. My massage was okay. What really ticked me off is the two ladies at the front who asked me why I didn’t want to add 20% gratuity and I explained that it was already included in the price, she said she didn’t know that and proceeded to still question why I didn’t want to give a tip. When I first booked my massage it was pay half now pay the other half when you get there, which I also had to inform her, and if there was no gratuity included how did my other half of the price increase by 30$. They made me feel as though I was being cheap when that was not the case and they were very misinformed. Won’t be going back, it was an experience and I’m okay with that. If your okay with just being in a calming setting just get the day pass I don’t suggest booking any special treatments especially if you don’t want to spend an arm and leg and 20% gratuity on each treatment.

I was there right before the pandemic hit...I can tell you I cannot wait to make time and go back for the whole day spa experience. Theyre facilities were clean, the massage therapist amazing, I enjoyed my lunch and they made it extra special for the two brides to be that I took with me.

Bistro - Love the atmosphere and welcoming staff! The mini French Dip was delicious (Im ordering a full sized one next time) and the clam chowder was so good I felt as if I was in Maine! The burgers were ok, they were juicy and great portions, but they were bland and should have been better seasoned or marinated. On the whole I highly recommend this place to others and I look forward to my next visit here!!

Gorgeous spa. Every detail. I had a very relaxing massage. The staff are so kind and make you feel very comfortable throughout the entire experience!!! Covid safety is a definite priority but theyve managed to do it without disrupting the spa experience.

Great spa but a bit pricey.

This was my second time there. My first visit was over a year ago, pre covid and it was rather enjoyable. My most recent visit was just the opposite. I had bought a spa day for my sister and I to reconnect after my year long deployment and since she is a nurse I wanted her to really be able to relax. We did the tour and were please to see that covid measures were in place but the amenities still open. We expected that due to limited capacity for covid requirements the spa would not be overly busy. We were wrong. The jacuzzi had a four party limit and when we walked into the Aqua terrace it felt like a full blown pool party. There were so many people in the jacuzzi and sitting around it loudly talking and yelling we quickly left the area. We went to lay in the relaxation area where again we found people talking as staff walked through and didn’t try to quiet them. There had been a group in there of over 6 people that piled multiple people on the chairs and were taking pictures with the flash on that greatly took away from the relaxation attempt. While the massage therapist and room was very nice it did not feel like a massage. I explained my massage preferences since I am a regular massage therapy customer but it felt like she was just rubbing oil on my body. There was no massage. Furthermore, at the end of the day the front desk asked if I was okay with the 20% gratuity added and since the price of the massage was advertised as gratuity included and I paid in advance as requested by the spa to minimize transactions I assumed that she was ensuring I did not want to increase the tip. I later checked the receipt only to find out I was charged an additional $26 on top of the $130 that stated the gratuity was included. And based on the massage and over all experience of the spa I had already felt like the $130 was more than I should have spent. I will not be returning or referring others here.

What a place to relax. The staff was so accommodating. The amenities were great. The hostess in the restaurant is knowledgeable and so friendly. The food was prefect. I wish they would have some specials because my budget is not big enough to become a member. Hopefully Ill be able to go again. Thanks everyone and thanks to my friend who treated me to it.

Who would have thought a full spa in a mall?!? But let me tell you this place was awesome and definitely the best spa that I have been in the Capital region. The facility is beautiful, the staff is helpful and it’s very clean. My husband and I got an it takes two couples massage. It was awesome, Zack was a great masseuse. He really got my troubled area and made my back feel better. After our massages, we came out of our room and they had champagne waiting for us. We rinsed off in the showers and headed to the hot tub. In this area there was a fully loaded bar and food that could be ordered. I have never been to a spa that has had food, and it was a definite plus. The relaxation room had the most comfortable lounge chairs with a wood burning fireplace and waterfalls. After all was said and done they were nice showers that we’re loaded with everything you needed. I would highly recommend this spa.

Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Theres no shortage of amenities to indulge in. I spent the entire day here for my birthday and it was the best way to celebrate. The staff were all young, helpful, and friendly. Most of all there are no pushy sales people at the end of your visit to get you to buy something or purchase a membership package. I do plan to return soon. 😊

This was my boyfriend and I’s first time coming here for a massage. We got the basic Swedish massage (we couldn’t do the couple’s due to COVID reasons). Ashley did my massage and it was so relaxing. Zach did my boyfriend’s and he had a great experience as well. All the employees were really great overall. We got cocktails afterwards and they were delicious! Would definitely recommend coming here for a massage.

This spa is DIRTY, came in four a 9am massage appt, was done at 10 so i decided to sit by the hot tub and wait for an hour so i could order a snack. All of the tables were sticky and had leftover crumbs of food on them. Presumably from the day before (hopefully) but it was nasty and i decided to leave and eat elsewhere. My massage was great but they really need to concentrate on housekeeping if they want my returned business.

Great concept spa in the heart of a shopping suburb! Had a wonderful visit, beautiful and comfortable spa (love the eucalyptus steam room!) with a delicious fresh lunch. Massage therapist was skilled and took the time to address the areas of concern I mentioned. Will definitely be back for another spa day soon!

I came in to get a gift card and the computer system shut down and needed to be re-booted, it would take an additional 10-15 mins which I didn’t have. They suggested they would call me when it was working again and at that time charge my credit card and send me the gift card, I went ahead and did that. To my pleasant surprise I received it the very next pay priority mail!!! Awesome customer service!! I can’t wait to try the spa treatments!

The design of the spa is spacious and luxurious. It offers plenty of services including yoga classes. The attached restaurant, Le Bistro, has a relaxing and up-scale environment with a great menu for both food and beverage.Ive come back to this venue a couple of times and Ive consistently enjoyed every experience. Great staff, great location, and delicious food.

Spa Mirbeau is such an amazing place. The amenities are superb and once you book an appointment of any type you have access to the facility all day. That is a wonderful deal.I got a pedicure and over a week later my nails still look good. I definitely will be going back.

I posted my lengthy review on the Facebook page because it was obviously to long to post here. I would love to be contacted by an actual manager. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody, only because of the lack of class, disgusting behaviors & attitudes by Asia. I would also love to speak to a manager how I was lied to, and told by Asia she was the manager and I wasn’t allowed to speak to anybody else. I was informed by another employee later on that she lied and has had several complaints about her & how she even gives the massage therapist attitude all the time. This place is suppose to be of high class, & her attitude brings it down tremendously.

When you experience good customer service you smile. When you experience GREAT customer service you want to share it. I needed to make some changes half way through my treatment. The manager, Kadrian was so amazing. Talking to her changed my ok experience into an exceptional experience. She is a let’s make it work, let’s get it done person. I left feeling uplifted and happy.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Being in a mall I assumed this would be overpriced and lacking in amenities. I was very wrong. While not someone who pampers himself often, I will say this is the nicest spa Ive visited. Inside the relaxation room is beautiful. I spent half the day there. Very comfy chairs, dimmly lit and the sounds of water falling from the ceiling to a pond make for a very enjoyable environment. The massage rooms all have fireplaces. Our masseuses gave great deep tissue massages. Overall very nice experience, would highly recommend.

This is for the bistro.Went for a quick bite on Saturday PM, cool little place, less than 5 customer.The order arrival took a long time, I had to send it back, fries were could..I had to wait again for the plate to be back with new fries (i hope).My wife had to wait for the plate to be back...not a nice experienceIf it was a true bistro or restaurant not a hole in the mall, I wouldve received a complementary glass of wine, beer etc.

For the cost of a tank of gas you can hot tub in a mall all day with some pretty nice bonus amenities. Pretty surreal.

My husband & I celebrated our 11 yr. wedding anniversary at Spa Mirbeau and can honestly say that it far exceeded our expectations. Each staff member greeted us with a warm, benevolent smile and made us feel welcome. We received a tour of the facility and were given plush robes as well as comfy footwear to enhance our relaxation experience. The locker rooms are super immaculate with complimentary lotion, mouthwash, towels, shower products, sauna, etc. You then exit from there into the resting area with lounge chairs, dimmed lights, and the soothing sounds of water & relaxing instrumental music in the background. We enjoyed a wonderful couples massage by Melissa and Ashley who did a phenomenal job, and the ladies even surprised us with complimentary champagne in celebration of our anniversary. How sweet! We then had a delicious lunch (french onion soup, oven roasted turkey sandwich, spicy shrimp on a bed of lettuce, etc.), which they said would just be charged to the name on the account so there was never a need to have to carry cash or a credit card. Afterwards, we fit in a quick workout in the fitness center then showered just prior to slipping into the awesome whirl pool. By the way, the fresh lemon & cucumber water is truly great. Overall, we loved our experience at Spa Mirbeau today and highly recommend it! We totally look forward to our next visit in the near future!

I was excited to see that there was a Mirbeau in Albany during my recent trip. I have been to the other two properties and this is equally as impressive. Granted it does not include the Inn, but it would be weird to have overnight accommodations in a mall.Due to my training schedule I was unable to receive a treatment, but the menu looks like the one in Skaneateles (Ive been getting regular services there for over 12 years). I did have time for two dinners and a lunch. All the food was amazing and I got to experience a local IPA that Ive never had before (Druthers maybe?). Kudos to the chef and whomever stocks the bar.I wish I had time for a treatment, the facility looked incredibly relaxing; even more when you consider the location. Sauna, steam room, hot tub patio space, and a great water feature in the quiet room. I was told that you get to use the gym/fitness classes just like at the other properties when youre there for a service. I look forward to returning... to relax next time.

Very well maintained and equipped. A bit expensive but the price of the treatment gives you full access to the entire space facility which includes Sauna, Steam room and whirlpool plus a quiet and relaxing area and a bistro and bar.

I experienced the Monet’s Palette package on my birthday and could not have been happier with the results. From reception to Le Bistro & Wine Bar, the staff outdid themselves to be accommodating, friendly and professional. To say I was thoroughly pampered would be an understatement. I was wished happy birthday by everyone, served champagne and overall made to feel very special. The spa facilities are lovely and provide a calming and luxurious atmosphere. Skilled hands delivered an amazing massage and facial, and Le Bistro served excellent wine and beautifully prepared and delicious food. I can not wait to return with friends to enjoy another “spa day”!

Came for my first time today for a facial and massage. Both were fantastic. The woman’s changing area is clean and well maintained and has showers, sauna and steam room. The relaxation room is dark and cozy with a warm fireplace and water element. Attached is a little bistro wher you can get food and drinks (inc cocktails! Although i did not partake today i will most definitely on a future trip here!) i ordered one of their new bowls (grilled shrimp) and it was amazing.I like that they just add the food right to your bill and tips are all calculated and a part of your bill at the end.WILL be back.... with friends!

Outstanding service and massage!

Would of givin it 5 stars if it wasnt for the girl at the front check in desk. She had a nasty attitude right from the start like she doesnt want to be bothered. It was unfortunate because the rest of the staff was great.

The spa itself is beautiful - the hot tub/lounge area is very nice as is the resting area. I suppose that is what you are really paying for because the massage itself left a lot to be desired.The massages there are quite a bit more expensive than any other spa I’ve been to in the area and its only for 50 mins. Which really doesn’t end up being 50 mins when all is said and done. For example:My appt was 1 o’clock. The masseuse came and got me from the resting area right at 1. We walked to the room and spent 5 or so mins asking me questions and explaining what was going to happen. Then they leave so you can get undressed and on the table. Now we’re at 1:10 or so and the massage hasn’t started. Then once the massage got started there were several breaks to get more oil, spray incense or whatever he was doing. But we stopped at 1:50 on the dot. In the end $140 for a 50 min massage ended up being $140 for a 35 min massage and don’t forget the 20% til they add. While I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and cocktail waiting I would prefer to spend my money on the actual service i paid for. Will most likely get my massages elsewhere.
