Ive never ever been treated this way and I need to discuss this. I made an appointment at 3:30 for a regular mani pedi and I walk in on time. They have 3 girls there and do not seat me for 20 minutes. They did a great job at my pedicure and while I am getting a pedicure I see them deny two groups of colored women who came in wanting to get pedicures. They let them know theyre booked and full...shortly after a group of 4 elder while women come to sit down and get pedicures....they dropped EVERYTHING and left me with acetone soaking on my nails....FOR 45 WHOLE minutes while they worked on these women who had appointments wayyyyy after me. Guess what time I got out for a regular mani pedi??? ALMOST 3 hours later!!! The acetone was on me for so long it dried on my skin, they also had absolutely no fans or dryers for my nails so they were ruined and had to be readjusted after I was already told they were dry. Please Never ever judge your customers status by the way we look. How come you didnt drop everything for me or any of these other customers when they walked in but you did for those ladies???? A shame. Ive never been treated this way and plan to share my experience everywhere I possibly can.

I enjoy coming here. All the ladies are very friendly. And always do a awesome job. Shake the covid depression off. Scrub and exfoliate*Edit so within 2 days of getting my nails done I had gone in to replace one broken nail that same day 3 more fell off. Within a week, 7 days only 4 nails have stayed. For 50bux plus tip thats ridiculous.

I wouldnt come back. They did a pretty bad job on my nails. The pics are flattering at best. Im sorry but if youre in search for a place that does great work do not come here. Ill be going to my girl an hour away on Monday to take these ugly things off. Im sad I cant find a good place in Oakland. Its really hard out here.

Leann has such a warm personality and excellent staff. She’s run her business for close to two decades and it shows in your customer loyalty. I’ve gotten a manicure and pedicure each time and it feels like a mini spa trip. Thanks for the great treatment every time.

Not impressed with their acrylic nails. Sloppy at the cuticles. She cut my finger. I usually don’t mind cuts, it happens. But this time it was bad enough that it’s swollen and throbbing several days later. Finally they are over priced, I was charged 50 for a service I can get at other better nail salons for 35.

The owner Leann is very courteous and LOVES HER CUSTOMERS! I will definitely come back for a pedicure. She took off my tips and very gentle!

This is my favorite place on the island for pedicures. Leanne and her team offer top notch service!The shop is clean and takes extra measures to ensure health and safety. What I love most is that she is always on time and your appointment will be honored at the time you scheduled it.Everyone here is so unbelievably kind. I truly feel special and pampered when I’m here. If you’re looking to relax a bit, more, I suggest doing a CBD pedicure. It is $60 and worth EVERY PENNY.

Leanne just really cares about the quality and not about getting nails done quickly. The whole thing is relaxing and there are messages that go along with manicures and pedicures. The designs she does are amazing and the environment is clean and welcoming.

Leann did an awesome job on my nails and all of the staff members were very attentive and helpful. I was asked throughout the process if I liked the look of my nails and they didnt try to oversell me on a bunch of random add ons which I appreciated. She took her time doing my pedicure and manicure but it didnt feel like I was just wasting time in the shop - I was able to get in and out relatively quickly. The prices were really fair - $45 for a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. And the spa was very clean with the staff disinfecting and cleaning the entire shop as they went. Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend the Leanns salon to anyone.

Really friendly and good service. They are taking all Covid precautions. Call to make appointments and they can accommodate quick and they only take 2 people at a time at max. Great local business.

Nice detailed oriented staff...I got a pedicure and my eyebrow done, both of which have NOT BEEN DONE since Covid shut everything down in March. I look human again! Very good service .....I found a new spot and its closer to the house...lol.

The women forgot to tell me that it was cash only so I had to walk to a ATM and leave my phone she charged me $50 for nails that I could have did myself theyre not shaped the same theyre lumpy she used as less of acrylic and gel that she could have they really look like I did it myself

Leanns nails is a gem of Alameda!! It is one of the only nail spas under the “ Healthy nail salon program” so it is incredibly clean and sterile. I am so particular about nail salons bc of all of the fungal horror stories from unclean pedicure tubs (there is no real way to thoroughly sterilize these). Leanne uses a tub covered in a plastic bag where the contents are discarded so no one can use the same bath twice. Obviously, these best practices have adapted for covid standards with dividers between stations, hand sanitizer upon entry, and services appointment only (she does brows too!).Additionally, Leanne has the sweetest, calm, and beautiful personality. She is so attentive to the customer needs and preferences -truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied before you leave. Finally, she has been at her location for 25 years so she is dedicated to the craft and you are supporting a small and local East bay lady!

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Went in for a full set & a pedicure. I should have known by how empty they were that service wasn’t going to be that great. I was literally the only person in the shop at 3:30pm. The owner of the shop did my nails. They were very thick & I kept asking her to file my nails down and shape them them square. She promised it get better but it didn’t so I asked her to stop that I’d go somewhere else. I did pay her for the work she did do. I ended up going to KD nails on park street & getting great service.Moral of the story is they can’t do nails they don’t know how to shape nails.

Leanne is extremely kind! The workers here are amazing! First time here and I brought my little sister so we can both get pedicures, great experience! I would definitely come back!

MY EXPERIENCE WAS SO MUCH FUN!! The service was amazing and my acrylics set was beautiful. I came with a group of friends and Leann was so much fun! We all talked about school, family and boys (ew yuck!) I will for she come here again! Total 5 star salon!!

The ladies did a great job, my nails are beautiful and so are my toes. They are super friendly and nice. Very good service I would highly recommend over other places. I have found my nail place :)

Friendly they are, however horrible work and they keep on telling everyone we need to remove calluses and is $7 more, if don’t agree they say the won’t remove dead skin, then what is the reason on doing a pedicure?, I just can’t even believe someone go be a regular customer here. And I’m top of that they don’t even give you the disponible flip flops, won’t accept credit cards because is too expensive, I really don’t know what she meant.

Best pedicure in Alameda. Takes great care on removing in grown nails...like pain free surgery. Lets me get back to Zumba in no time.

Ive been living in the Bay Area for a few years now and have finally found my favorite salon! I went to the ones on Park st but I did not enjoy the service. Coming to Leanns is the best of both worlds; I get quality service and I always leave looking amazing!! Leann really understands how to take care of her customers. I come all the way from the South Bay just to see her monthly. 6/5 stars

This is the best nail salon I have ever visited. Leann was wonderful, kind and very friendly! We moved to Alameda yesterday, and I know I have found my forever nail salon! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

The owner saw to it that i was waited on by herself and two others at one time. This was marvelous by itself however accompanied by a great pedicure massage, manicure and eyebrows all the while my massage chair was relaxing my back. Talk about relaxation!

The lady who did my nails was great. Her boss or manager that spoke over her every time I asked a question was extremely rude. She chastised me for getting a color change instead of a pedicure, then charged me $12 when the sign said $10. She argued with me when I pointed it out. Glad there are 10,000 nail places around. Would not ever return.

This nail shop is clean and super professional! Their workers make sure that you are comfortable. The staff is friendly and my nails are the way I want them to be.

The shop is nice. Leann is nice. I was put at ease. The hot stone massage of my legs felt good, but not professional. I was happy to get it. My legs hurt. I am very disappointed that a person who is obviously capable can do such a bad job. I thought at the time that the mani medi was quick. Later, at home, my nails looked like they did before I went to this shop. I feel sorry for the young lady working there, but she must know that she is not really giving a pedicure and manicure. Im old and disabled. They charged me $45 and I tipped them $10. I hate being a chump, but I like to give everyone a chance. I just dont get the mindset. Cut my damn nails and Id be happy.

Its the only place I go to get my nails done. The ladies are very attentive and nice, and the place is very clean . I was asked throughout the entire time if I like my nails . They make sure you feel comfortable and relax . I recommend it to whoever is looking to get their nails done in Alameda ..

Horrible. This should be a -5 stars because I have to now go spend my money and time to fix the mess LeAnn did to my nails. She is a thief. She knew the nail was not going to look good, so she asked for the money before putting on the gel polish. My old nail polish was not completely removed, she didnt file the nail good, the acrylic powder is not even glue all the way on the nail bed, the polish is bulky, the polish is all over my skin. It was like she didnt even care. I tried to get a refund, but she said no refund and wanted to fix it. The nails look like she didnt even put an effort in to doing it and i can do a way better job. I didnt want her touching my nails again. Save your money and stay away from this place.

Great hot stone massage with the pedi and friendly owner! And they are an Alameda county healthy nail salon.

I went to go and get my nails done and I know I have seen much better. I got acrylics and gel and a pedicure, but the only thing that I thought was okay was the pedicure. When I got my acrylics done I asked her if she can make the left thumb more identical to the right thumb and all she did was 3 little swipes of the file and went on with it. She didnt make sure that the nail polish went up to my cuticle in a u form but more like half u and half square. She left the acrylic on the bottom of my thumb and did a terrible job of paint. The left over picture was bumpy and had wrinkles all over the nail and didnt have paint in the places it should have and now I have paid too much money on something that is gonna cause my OCD to blow through the roof and I have to live with it.

Terrible! I came here for an acrylic full set and she did terrible. She did a poor job cutting my real nails she wasnt clean with cutting it leaving the uneven. She cut me twice and was very rude I asked her to not cut the acrylic nails to short and she raised her voice and said What what! How long you want it? with so much attitude. My right nails are shorter than my left nails, she made my nails look chunky and they do not look smooth but instead they look chunky and vainy, she did a bad job at smoothing out the surface. I showed her a picture of the shape and what I got was nothing close to what I showed her, never coming here ever again. The place or her appliances did not look sanitized. I paid $35 now I have to go to The Angel Nails on Park St. to get my nails fixed because I am very unhappy with the results. I expected better.

Its a calm, quiet environment, and everyone there is very friendly. As a Vietnamese-American, I feel right at home with the ladies that work there! Will be back, maybe for a mani-pedi next time!

The staff is friendly and very professional. This is my 2nd time here and I cant wait to come back. Both mani and pedi are great! The pedicure of course is 10x more relaxing. I cant recommend them enough.The salon itself is a decent facility with a fair amount of color options and services. They even have available parking in the back.Try them out, you wont regret it! :)

The staff was very friendly and professional but my gel French manicure was badly done. There was still old nail polish left on my nails, the French was not done well, and the gel started chipping the next day.
