I had an appointment at 10, I was about 15 minute late but the shop wasn’t crowded. I had called the day before and said I wanted the works guess I should have said the Special. Anyway the young lady was doing my pedicure it was going well until the women she had just did asked if she was done, the young lady told her just a moment then she got up and attended to the women, she had dried my feet but actually wasn’t finished she did not scrub my foot that had dead skin) if you could see in the pic) She came back and proceeded to polish my feet. It seemed that they were short handed because other people came in and this young lady had plenty to do. I felt that she rushed through my pedicure and this is the second time this has happened. I have been coming here for over 3 years and never felt rushed. I like the place because they are quite clean, but the service has toned down and the quality seems to be slipping. How it doesn’t happen again. Maybe they need more workers. I always tip but not sure if I will this time. A bit disappointed with my visit.

I have been a customer of Alameda Nails for over 7 years. Recently they changed ownership but the quality of service is still the same. Booking an appointment is advised since they’re availability is slim due to the foot traffic they receive. They have all of the cute colors bright and shiny and stay on top of the latest trends. They’re so good I hate to tell others about them for fear of me not receiving an appointment when I need a squeeze in. Alameda Nails gets the job done effortlessly.

Manicurist was rushing and filed through my skin while shaping my nail. Their online appointment system doesn’t work because they don’t transfer the online appointments to their physical appointment book. I was asked to reschedule upon arrival for an online appointment I’d made a week prior.

Such a clean and soothing environment. Always kind people and great service. Im so glad theyre back open.

Very clean and covid safe they have clear wall separators for when they do your pedicure and nails . Better to call make appointment at the time of my appointment I was the only person .

The nail salon in the neighbourhood located on Encinal Ave in Alameda. Clean and well maintained, staffs are friendly but hardly can speak English. Parking is hard to find. They offer Manicure -Pedicure and Waxing services. The massage chair while you’re having manicure or pedicure is very relaxing. Try their foot spa, it is great! But be sure to leave tips after services, they really demand for it!

It was my first Mani/Pedi in a year since Covid. I had been doing my own at home. I took a chance on this place based on other reviews. They were so nice, professional, and clean! They also give you a nice shoulder/neck massage with your manicure. Highly recommend!!

Awful experience. Anywhere else would be better. Over priced took five days for all the nails to fall off. A great way to waste money. I posted previously and they responded that I had two weeks to come back. Nobody told me that and on the phone they said I would have to pay to get anything fixed. Not a good way to run a business.

Literally worst experience I’ve ever had. Nobody’s lulu pay me more than I paid go there. After a day of getting my nails done, that took over three hours, I had three nails break. After ONE day. Besides that I asked for a single custom design done on ONE nail, it took her 30 minutes and three co workers to fail at it and then she fired to compensate with another awful design. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. after all this I asked to get it off and they had the audacity to charge me to fix THEIR mistakes. I’ve never been so disappointed in a company before.

I got a set of acrylics short pink French tip gel but 65 bucks for that??? They are a nice clean shop but their prices were a little crazy and my nails where left really thick so they weren’t worth the price...

A salon whose manicurists listen to what you want and have good attention to the details to be sure youre nails look great. I get gel manicures ands they last. They give a nice hand massage after. Prices are moderate. A full service salon.

My husband and I had a great time getting mannie-peddies together. Definitely coming back.

Alameda Nails, youre such a quaint little shop with such talented Manicurists. Since youre under new ownership, youre clean, friendly, polite.. all the makings of a perfect nail salon.Unfortunately for them, I happen to understand Vietnamese. I understood Ann (the owner) when she said that my BIG BUTT prevented me from sitting still and that it barely fit in the chair.Naturally, I politely confronted her and she apologized. However, there are far too many nail salons to support one that has absolutely no respect for their customers. If youre paranoid that theyre talking about you, they may very well be at this place.
