Unethical marketing and unprofessional.I recently moved across the country, most of my family doesn’t even have my new address. Yet I received one of their bull**** “Final Notice” you are losing your coverage letters. I called the number to be taken off of their mailing list and asked where they got my information from. The only places which have my current address would be a bank, utilities, insurance, and the state where I just registered my vehicle. The CSR refused to give me any information, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. The man who came on the phone was standoffish and rude, claiming that all of their marketing is done through public information. This is not true. If it were, they wouldn’t have the year and make of my vehicles but they would have my address. I told the man that their marketing was dishonest with their “final notice” BS. He became aggressive and asked how was it dishonest. I said first and foremost for this to be a final notice I would have had to have received a previous notice, and that their phishing techniques were unethical and prey on less informed people such as the elderly. He refused to inform me where they get their mailing lists from, because, “I’m not going to tell you that, we pay for that information.”Not only is their “insurance” bull**** but their professionalism is nonexistent. Scam company with scam marketing tactics. 0/10.
FAKE BUSINESS. They attempt to scam individuals into purchasing a coverage plan and contacted me under the implication of being the third party warranty company Nissan uses. It was difficult to find until at the bottom in very, very, fine print they stated they are independent from all automotive companies.
Just writing to thank Chris for all the help with setting up my policy. You put up with a lot of questions and back and forth and you were so gracious and charming throughout. You are an excellent representative and you made my experience choosing a policy delightful. I hope they give you a raise, you definitely sold me on AASS!
SCAM COMPANY. These guys send intimidating mail and phone calls to pressure unsuspecting people into purchasing their car warranty products. In my case they sent a letter saying I have to pay a penalty for private use of my vehicle warranty (which is nonsense). This business also operates under Fenix Protect, LTD and has a separate website. Avoid both AASS and Fenix Protect at all costs. SCAM COMPANY!
Im on a pretty tight budget, so I cant really afford extended warranty, but I DEFINITELY cant afford a huge repair bill, and with a car thats a couple years past dealer warranty I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. A while back I got a letter from American Automotive Service Solutions and I figured Id just call to see what they had to offer. Incredibly, they had options to cover a lot of major components at a pretty low monthly price. I was able to stay in my budget and now if I have a problem I know it will be covered.
Scam company. They send fake mail to get you to subscribe to their service. Clearly an abundant amount of fake positive reviews on this page.
Phony Letters attempting to scare people into calling. Despicable. Reported to TX Attorney General. Company laughed and said “you’re wasting your time, honey” when I called to complain about their misleading letter. Absolute scum.
Very rude customer service employee named Rob. Cancelled subscription. He tried to make me feel bad which I feel one should never do - thats why its called customer service. He was rude, overbearing and horrible to deal with.
I found American Automotive Service Solutions when my dealership warranty expired. Really, I was just looking at all my options, but they offered the best coverage at the best price. End of story. My dealership was going to charge me an arm and a leg for virtually the same coverage.
Scam..Waste of time and money. Dont bother with this company all they do is take your money. Trying to cancel is also a pain to do. They keep trying to convince you to stay on your account by repeating the same thing over and over as youre trying to cancel your account.. rude service as well.
Shady company that sends predatory letters in the mail to try and trick you into getting their crappy warranty. The glowing reviews they paid for are obviously fake too. At least buy from a firm that will write more convincing reviews.
Was surprised about the money I was able to save with an extended warranty contract. Definitely a must buy for those looking to save money on their future car repairs.
Fantastic company! They take care of you very well.
Shady company sending me letters telling me my warranty (I never had one) has expired and is trying to trick/scare me into enrolling in their coverage. Gave me bogus letters and “final notices” and all their fake reviews online are complete jokes
Extremely corrupt company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!! Unsolicited and threatening letters mailed to intimidate people into calling?? What a hideous company. Look up the BBB recommendation for this worthless company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these crooks!!!!
SCAM!!!! THEY STEAL INFO FROM DMV. CALL AND HARASS PEOPLE, SEND LETTERS AND STEAL PEOPLES TIME AND MONEY. DONT FALL FOR THIS PEOPLE. I WOULD GIVE THEM NO STARS IF I COULD!!
Customer services was rude, smart mouth and very disrespectful when my mother called to cancel service due to the warranty not covering emission. Why should she pay for a warranty and when you try to use it, you get I’m sorry that’s not covered but I’m still suppose to pay you 143.00 a month?!? Thanks but NO THANKS! We have wasted enough money!
I discovered this company steal money from people bank accounts.
DAMN COMPANY ****STUPID******* FAKE****SCAM BUSINESS *****WHICH HARASSES PEOPLE BY SENDING THREATENING LETTER ****SHAME ON YOUFAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS
Tired of these tools sending me final notices, about every two weeks.
Yes, a scam. I dont even have a warranty and these pirates sent me mail about extending my warranty so I would call them and start giving them $200 every month. Hilariously bad.
Thank you
