Very professional full-service mechanic shop for import cars. Five stars!!
For a number of years, Ive been going to Eurobahn Imports. They provide outstanding service, and the ONLY place I trust my cars be serviced at. I took my BMW M3 to Juan (shop owner) and detailed the modifications I wanted. He recommended the best parts, offered up his advice on whats best for my car, installed and reprogrammed the car, and provided a warrantee on all of his work. Ever since hes been working on the car, I havent had any problems at all.. He is by far the best guy for the job. He is fair, honest and passionate about his work. You wont find a better shop to service your car.
Juan is the man!! I took my Bimmer there after my car had gone into a limp mode and was barely drivable. Juan was able to figure out this very uncommon issue and got me back on the road. Juan will be working on my car from here on out. Appreciate it, keep up the good work!!
Great customer service! Been taking my BMW & Mercedes to Juan for years now. Finding Independent auto repair shops that specializes in European cars in the Western Suburbs is difficult, but with Eurobahn, you can worry no more. He know all his Euro cars inside and out and his prices are reasonable. No more having to get ripped off by Stealership prices!
I took my 2012 Lotus Evora S to Eurobahn after a recommendation. Although my service experience was not perfect, I will share that the workmanship and facility was above average and the price was fair. I would give Eurobahn a 2 for follow up/client communication, 4.5 for workmanship, 5 for fair pricing, 5 for shop quality/equipment/cleanliness: Overall: 4 out of 5 stars and a Good Recommendation Rating
I brought in my 1983 BMW 320i E21 for a startup and idle issue. The mechanic Juan took notes of what I told him was wrong and what I wanted to get done. After one long frustrating and irritating month yes, a month! Nothing was fixed. I would call Juan 4 to 5 times a week to check on the car because he does not call back his customers. Terrible customer service. I remember I got a hold of him and he told me he was on his lunch break he said hell call me back in 10 minutes. Never called back. I explained to Juan that my friend (a BMW importer) who knows a mechanic that fixes old BMWs in Europe, said the issue was the warm-up regulator. Juan refused to listen because the warm-up regulator in the car looked new so he assumed it worked. He then insisted on buying a $250 part that he believed would fix the issue. I said okay and asked if he was certain and he said yes. Now comes the best part after about a month I called him and surprisingly he said the car will be ready that day. My dad and I come to his shop and waited 2 hours for him to get the car ready to leave the shop. You would think that when you call a customer to pick his car up it would be ready and parked outside so that all the customer has to do is pay. Not at Eurobahn Imports. After he started the car it instantly died it idled worse than when I brought it in. Every encounter at a stop sign would bog the car down and it would stall. Juan also mentioned he did a valve and throttle adjustment. Which who knows if he did or not (I dont think he did). Moral of the story he kept my car for a month! Did not fix anything. Charged me $500 for repairs. What repairs? When I brought in a broken car and left with one. I would have been much happier if Juan just said he doesnt want to work on the car since it is an antique. I had to personally drive to his shop because you cant get a hold of this guy. I literally replaced the warm-up regulator at home with an OEM one in better condition and fixed both of the issues. Save yourselves the money and headaches avoid this shop! Car runs great and holds idle something that should have taken 3 days max (2 days to ship the part and 1 day to put it on) took a month.
Horrible customer service. My service reminder light came up so I went and did the service at my local mechanic(oil change and general inspection). Unfortunately, he does not have the tool to clear the light up. So I asked around and told Eurobahn specialize in Euro cars and can do that. Gave them a call and was shocked, the technician was so rude and he told me he wont clear the service reminder light because he did not do the service. What the hell? The service has already been done! Also its not like he is doing it for free, I will be paying! He kept arguing that in order to reset a service reminder I should have done the service at their shop.Well maybe if you had good customer service and just agreed to reset the service light I would do my next service at their shop. BUT THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN ANYMORE!
I took my Benz S430 to the LOCAL Benz Dealer to have the suspension repaired. The front end was sitting on the ground due to an issue with the air suspension. The dealer wanted to replace the entire front suspension system at a cost of over $5,000!!!It turned out to be only the strut tower caps were bad. Eurobahn fixed it fast and right with one visit and they saved me a BOATLOAD of CASH!
Do great things on Porsche product. Thank you Juan
My BMW is like brand new again! This auto repair shop is incredible!
This shop was able to fix a problem I had that - 2 FORD DEALERSHIPS - could not figure out. I have a 2010 transit connect... so its not like I have a jet engine here thats hard to diagnose.Eurobahn Imports fixed my issue that I thought I would just have to deal with. 3 years out of the 4 years ive owned my car I was NOT able to drive in traffic longer than 10 minutes. Living in Chicago make this problem rather annoying. I took it to Mr. Juan Perez at Eurobahn and he found the problem without delay and now Im happily in traffic.... er well you get it.I would recommend Eurobahn Imports to anyone owning a Transit Connet to a Mercedes CLS500 Eurobahn can fix them all, and I will stand by this review 100%.Eurobahn just earned a life-time customer in me.--UPDATE: after reading the other review id like to add that the customer service was not horrible in my opinion. They are a family business and the owner doesnt sit in the office and chit chat he actually works in the shop. So customer service is more important that the ACTUAL Service then i am at a loss of words, but if you want your car fixed right and for a good price, then Eurobahn is a good place for that.
