These guys are fantastic, do great work, and are honest mechanics that did not charge me for or do services for my car that were not needed, or try to talk me into more work. Fantastic, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I do hope I dont need to get more work done on my car, but if I do, they would be a definite go to.

Had a transmission problem and I had to get a whole new transmission which originally they were going to charge me 1600 (way over priced), for an 03 Honda. I decided not to go through with it and I bought my own transmission else where for 250! I go back and they quote me 350 to take out the old one and put the new one in, they tell me its finished and when I get to the checkout its 750, on top of that I had to provide the transmission oil which was about another 70 bucks. They didnt honor their original price so for that reason they get 2 stars, theyre nice people, but thats doesnt make it a good business. Id be less upset if they told me 750 before I took it to them.

These guys are Professionals! My Nissan Xterra was a crank no start and after they ran various tests they found out the problem was that my distributor cap was loose. T&K staffs are accommodating as well as professional. We were checking transmission shops and was about to take our Ford explorer over to a dealership. This company is the best.. The inspections are timely and thorough, AND ALL THEIR WORK IS HARD, HONEST & TRUE. I have been to many mechanics & shops that were seemingly unfriendly or downright unhelpful, but this shop is the total opposite!They are prompt to update you on diagnostics and all. They always let you know the pricing and ask ahead for permission before doing anything or making any decisions, so you dont get any surprises!The staff is extremely patient, helpful, honest and is truly just OUTSTANDING!! T&K are trustworthy guys from my experience with them. I brought my Explorer to them for what I thought was transmission troubles. They told me it was actually a couple other overlooked things that were keeping the engine from getting enough power. Plenty of other shops wouldve found something wrong with my transmission as well as those auxillary issues. I will be back for all future work on my car.

Went in to get rear end fixed. Wasnt able to leave parking lot because rear end still had problems... They completed $2,600. (Motor mounts, trans mounts, oil pan seal, rear main seal) 2nd time I left shop - oil pan leaking, missing mount plates- they replaced oil pan to NEW (awesome). Put random plates on that didnt match my truck and cross threaded bolts into transmission. Added SILICONE GASKET (not the correct gasket to use) to the rear end cap.... Now its leaking. Sent me out of shop with 1/2 full of oil. Busted bolts on exhaust manifold... Didnt replace... Now have exhaust leak.TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO ANOTHER MECHANIC FOR AN EVALUATION AFTER YOU LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was having trouble with the e4OD transmission on my truck. I thought it would need replacement or rebuilding. After calling T&K transmission they gave a fair quote and talk about the problem. I dropped off the truck, and the very next day I was contacted because T&K found other possible causes of my transmission troubles. There was an opportunity for them to rebuild transmission and made over ten times the money. Instead they took time and looked for a solution and found one. Theyve earned my future business and recommendation.

I brought my 2008 Ford Explorer to Eagle and after speaking to Scott the manager because I had already been to another transmission shop T&K Transmission who was rude and ripped me off. Scott and his guys did a good job and although this was a used transmission I had them install they got me back on the road and the price was fair!

There is no excuse for the “customer service” experienced at this business. As the “expert” they have no willingness to explain options or the $800 evaluation charge they attempted to charge prior to beginning any work. After agreeing not do work on the car prior to further customer authorization, it was found lifted and taken apart this morning. If you have a card stating “free tow” or “free evaluation” throw it away. It will not be honored. Go elsewhere for consistent and honest communication.

I recently had my second major set of repairs done by T&K of Addison. The work was done on time, quality parts were used, the interaction was professional and by car drives better than the day it left the show room. The price was fair, actually a bit less than a competitor, but most importantly, their work fixed the problem. I will not hesitate to recommend this T&K to my friends and associates.

Transfer case on my Equinox blew to shreds on the road, luckily I was right next to T&K when it happened. They diagnosed it right in front of me, showed me the price of each part, and even showed me how they’d put it back together. The manager, Chris, is clearly very experienced in the industry and just a good guy - he even offered to drive me to work during the day they’d be working on it. Overall it was the best experience at an auto shop I’ve ever had. Five stars.

T&K auto shop in Addison is a very nice and professional auto shop. I have been going to them for about 2 years and each time I go to their shop, I know they will be able to get the job done. They are very thorough in their diagnostic and repairs and are very knowledgeable about what they do.They are also very good at getting your repairs done in a timely manner. Just about every time I take my car there for repairs, I usually will see it the same day or next business day. Their prices are very reasonable and they make sure you get good quality parts for your car as well. That I really respect in a company, quality over quantity. Any repairs they dont do they refer you to another repair shop that does, who are also very professional. This is a very honest and trustworthy auto shop and I highly recommend them.

They thoroughly diagnosis your vehicle, explain the problems and present your options politely. Their prices are reasonable compared to other shops that I have experience with. Then they repair your vehicle using high quality parts and skilled mechanics, and stand behind their work. I own six cars and have done business with them for 6 years. They have never let me down. I have used T&K Automotive twice and can say that I will not go anywhere else for auto repairs if I can help it.They do not prey on females with limited car knowledge (me), try to sell you stuff you do not need, or take forever to complete repairs. Each time I have used them to service my car, they have been honest - yup, car guys who are honest - and very up front about repairs and pricing.If they cannot complete a repair (they do not sell/replace tires), they told me where to go to replace my tires and which person to contact for the best deal. And, they were right about the tires, too!They are not open on the weekends because they want their employees to have family time. I respect that in a business. They are all around good people and do quality work with honesty on cars. I highly recommend them.

I went to T&K after I noticed I had a leak in my transmission. I knew that it was unlikely that they were going to be able to have a look at my car at 5PM because I got there so late. I ended up having to leave my car at their shop and they offered to give me a ride over to Enterprise before it closed, which I am very grateful for. Chris called me the next day and explained what the problems were with my car in great detail. Unfortunately, I had to go against the proposed solution only because I couldnt afford it. Chris and his team patched up my car as a temp fix and it is serving its purpose. This team is very polite before and after payment, I would highly recommend that you visit these guys if you are having issues.

We were very pleased by the quality of T&K Automotives staff and the work they did for us recently on both of my sons cars. When you go into the office in Addison, it is very clean and Chris was very professional as he explained the needed work to us. These are guys that we felt were honest and that we could trust what they were telling us. We also had a car that was in an accident and towed to T&K Automotive for the initial inspection. Even though the car was getting there as the shop was closing, Chris was very patient and waited as we got everything together. The work they did for us was excellent, and done very timely. This is my second trip here. Sadly I had taken my vehicle to Pep Boys for a Check Engine light. It was getting a transmission code as well as a small evap leak. I should have taken it here first. Then maybe 5 months later I wouldnt have had to bring it back! Phil was a great guy. Sorry he is gone. But Chris has been a great help in getting my car back and running. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

They tell you one price first and the next day is a totally different price and more expensive just to tell you something that you already know.

Just called to ask a quick question in regards to having a diagnosis done for my car, and spoke to a guy named Chris who was VERY RUDE! He did not give me time to ask anything before cutting me off with each question, and acted as if my service was not needed. I suggest you guys to get someone else to answer your phones, because customer services is the FIRST thing a person is looking for when theyre talking about something so serious as far as a car or their home, and if I have to speak to someone like this when calling in, you can bet that you will NEVER get my service. And I will be in sometime today in hoping to speak with the owner or manager!

I have brought my audi to this shop twice now and never again. The first time my car went out, it cost me $3500 to fix various things. What they told me needed to be fixed didnt seem correct but honestly, I dont know much about cars so I trusted them. The problem was not fixed, it was just masked for 3 months. 100 days later, my car went out exactly like before and wouldnt run. I brought it back here because they obviously didnt do their jobs the first time (warranty was 90 days of course). This time, they fixed 3 other parts... $2200 later. About 7 months later, the car did the same thing and went out on me. I took it to Pep Boys, they replaced the coil and spark plugs for $500 and havent had a problem out of my car in the year since. This place either doesnt know about cars or they took advantage of me. Either way, Ill never take my car here!

I came to T&K, by recommendation from a master foreign car technician. I had a dead, ten year old CVT that I did not want to put $10k into, and was not yet ready to buy a new car. They rebuilt what was necessary for about $5k, and it runs better than when it was new! Professional warm staff, and they didnt mind reiterating everything to my husband, and translating to me.

Phillipe at T & K Automotive is a Peach. Hes a man of his word, and he helped me save money and even helped me get my glove box open (It was stuck). His work was superb, under budget, and on time, and I highly recommend T & K. This was my first experience at their facility, but I will certainly be a repeat customer.

Went in for an oil change. They did that and did the full inspection as recommended by the maintenance manual. The only reason this isnt 5 stars is because over the phone I was told Id have it done in less than an hour, while in reality it took 2 hours. So be sure you have the time set aside. Also something to keep in mind, they dont sell or replace tires. I view this as a good thing because in my mind that takes away some bias when they recommend tire replacement.

Chris was a big help and a major deciding factor in determining where I should spend my money. My vehicle had multiple issues that needed attention. He put things in perspective and came up with a workable solution. So far, it seems that everything is working well and there are no more problems. Thanks Chris Coomer!

I was referred to T&K by another shop to fix my leaking power steering fluid. After running all kinds of diagnostics and taking a further look, I was told that I would need to replace my entire rack & pinion, costing around $2,000, for what I was told was a very small leak, most likely in a connecting hose. I let them know I wasnt going to be able to pay for that at the moment and that I would be by later in the day to pick my car up. I was charged $70 for everything that they did while my car was there to cover their labor costs.I took my car to another repair shop to get a second opinion, and after running the same diagnostics and further tests, it was confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and I wasnt charged a dime. I will not be back to T&K for any other repairs that may come up.

I am very pleased with the service I received at T &K. I was worried that my SUV transmission would need to be replaced. The guys here did repair work instead which really saved me alot of money. Convenient location and friendly staff, Ive brought my car there several times. Only thing Im a little iffy about is that it was suggested I replace a part that Id had replace -- at the same location -- a year ago. I pointed that out and they looked it up in their system and it lopped $100 off my repair bill. Still, Id like to think they would have noticed that before quoting me a price.

Got me in and out in a timely manner, fixed my sisters cars radiator right up. Even let me pick my car up the day after when I was stuck in McKinney on business and couldnt pick it up right away. Also super conveniently located near me.

Although I live just up the block from T&K and get gas at the adjacent Race Track, Id never had dealings with them. I usually used the auto dealership for any problems. I left my office building one evening affer work.. came to a stop at the sign and so did the car... no coughing.. choking, smoking or any noise. In the blazing heat I called AAA who was there in a flash. Considering the time of the evening I was concerned about getting someplace before closing and since T&K was recommended to me I asked AAA to to take me there. As a senior, single woman, I must say I was treated respectfully, first by ***** and later by ******** as well. ***** let me know what they would need to do to find what seemed to be an electrical problem. I know from previous auto problems several years ago that finding electrical problems were no fun and not an easy task. This was a stressful time for me, but by keeping me abreast of what they found, they made it as easy as possible. Given the the age of my wonderful car, it is now running better than I would have thought possible. I will be going to T&K Automotive Specialists for oil changes, etc. and any further problems (that I hope not to have) and would most definitely recommend T&K Automotive Specialists to anyone needing auto repairs / assistance. I should have done my research before bringing my car to this place. I spent almost $800 for spark plugs and ended up leaving with more damage to my car then before I came. I spoke with several other auto shops and they all said they have heard bad things about this place.

T&K Automotive was great when my cars alternator pulley was broken. His team was helpful in fixing my air conditioning and other details I hadnt mentioned. They are an awesome crew and id refer anyone in the dfw area to acquire theyre services.

I have been in this establishment three times, of which two were to replace break pads, in my Mercedes and Volvo- now my breaks squeak in both. The manager Chris basically told me he doesnt guarantee breaks, my Mercedes is new. I was given a quote on removing an after market handsfree system for my cell phone and when I returned to have them merely clip the Audio connection I was met with rudeness and disregard. Unprofessional! They dont stand behind there work and apparently can and will quote work they dont intend on following through on...

Not trustworthy. They overcharged for a diagnosis and lied about how many codes were showing up. The initial diagnostic check revealed one code, they later claimed there were more and wanted close to $1000 in repairs. A second auto shop revealed there was only 1 code showing up on the car, not several like this place claimed.
