Brought an RV several times over the past few years, Gellings is always on point with estimates, problem analysis, and repairs. Customer service is the best Ive experienced. This place is a good value for cars, RVs and trucks.

I brought my vehicle into Gellings to have my brakes looked at. I was pleasantly surprised when they informed me that my brakes were perfectly fine and were not in need of replacing. Since they were squeaking, Gellings fixed the issue at hand and I had them do an alignment and put new tires on. The pricing was fair. They are very professional and personable. I was able to use a loaner vehicle they provided which made everything much easier. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Fred was very helpful, their inspection was thorough, and I like that they text you with a link to the inspection results, as well as give you a printed copy for your records.

I was in Aberdeen for work and on my last 3 days my truck went down quick. Called a Monday morning and they got me in right away so I was able to leave SD for home Tuesday. Great service, they called me to update me on what else came up and how they’re progress was. I would highly recommend!

I had a good experience with this place. I worked with Fred and he was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything. The price was high but it’s a you get what you pay for deal. I had multiple things wrong some of which I wasn’t aware of. I felt comfortable with the price at the time. They got me in last minute for an oil change before driving 10 hours the next day. Thoroughly checked my entire car and told me what needed to be serviced, even including pictures.

I called the day before and they took me right in and went through my RV front to back. Also serviced my generator. Clean waiting area and very good service.

Needed a battery jump on 7 Feb. They were at my hotel in 5 minutes. I live in South Texas and was driving back Friday. Thursday afternoon I brought my car to your shop to get the battery tested. They told.me.it was running low. They offered to keep the car warm and cozy in their shop overnight. Friday morning it was -20°F. They brought my warm car back to my hotel, we made it back home Saturday night.Great service - over the top, and very fair charges.

These guys know what theyre doing. We use LPG vehicles and when we have issues these guys always get it figured out. They are very thorough and professional. Highly recommended.

My car had a tire pressure issue but when I went to fill it, it wouldn’t take any air in and was dangerously low. I called Gellings (as I had got a uhaul there days before) and they said bring it right over. They got me in and out with quality care. They also made sure to keep me informed of costs before going forward with any repairs until I okayed it.

I have been using Gellings Auto Service for a little over a year now. I first came to them due to another mechanics screw up who cost me a lot of damage to my vehicle. Gellings helped me right away with everything I needed to get my vehicle running right again.I have used Gellings for oil changes, breaks, a total motor drop and reroute from the previous owners screw up, thermostat, new radiator, multiple free vehicle inspections on prospected vehicles for myself and fiance, wheel alignment, boot axle, tires mounted, wheel bearing, squeaky and bad belts, you name it weve been there.Every time weve been at Gellings weve gotten great service and have always been offered a loaner vehicle to get us around while they worked on our vehicles. I have three kids so this is extremely beneficial when Ive needed to get the kids to where they needed to be. Most mechanics do not have this service.If we werent sure what was wrong with our vehicles Gellings has always been really great about calling us before making any major decisions. They call us when they find out what is wrong with our vehicles, tell us what it is, explain it in laymans terms for me, since Im not a car person at all, give us a price, and ask for permission to fix the issue or ask what wed like to do. If we needed time to think on whether or not we could afford the fix they were very patient and waited for us to call them back, or would call us back the next day to follow up.After any major work at Gellings they generally follow up with a text message to ask how things are running or if weve noticed anything else since the initial fix. I bought a Lemon from Automaxx so when Gellings messages me to ask how the vehicle is running it makes me feel that they really care. They remind me of my small town mechanic I had in Oakes, ND before I moved to Aberdeen.I have been to Automaxxs Shop, Kurks Auto body, and Hovens and I would 10/10 recommend taking your vehicle to Gellings to get any repairs done that you need.When I first started going to Gellings I called and compared prices only to find out Gellings was the cheaper of the places Id called to compare with. From time to time they will send out discount coupons for different services which is awesome! Who doesnt love a discount!Gellings also gets the job done right the first time! Which is what any mechanic should do, but I havent found at any other place but Gellings! Its true what they say, you get what you pay for! So, I dont mind having to spend the money to get it done right.Gellings will always provide a detailed summary sheet of the work that they have done, along with the prices and total listed on it every single time we have our vehicles in their shop. Gellings will also do an inspection every time our vehicles are in their shop as well and then provide a list of the inspection and where attention needs to be drawn to. Their work is warranted on labor for 90 days and parts have a 1 year warranty or 12,000 miles whichever one comes first, unless they state otherwise.Huge shout out to Fred and Dennis who have been super helpful and knowledgable and get my sense of humor!Also huge shout out to the mechanic(s) there that have worked on our vehicles! Way to go above and beyond to get the jobs done right the first time and taking care of me and my family with fixing our vehicles to be safe as possible and running great!Appreciate all your hard work guys!

Took my vehicle in for poor running issues. Wouldnt quite idle right. Was told was running rich because choke wasnt opening. No power to electric choke. Added a jumper wire. Was told plugs were BLACK. #5 Plug was loose. Thightened it. Timing was way off. Set that. Needed new valve cover gaskets. Did that. Was also told front brake reservoir was low (would think they would top it off...) alternator was overcharging, new voltage regulator. and a few other minor issues. They power washed engine to look for oil leaks. 900 dollars later i got truck home. Didnt quite idle right... checked plugs...FIRST PLUG HAD THE ELECTRODE MELTED!!! That was cyl#5. The rest were NOT black but instead were a bit white (which is on the leaner side) but were in great shape. Which one did he check?!?! Next checked the front brake reservoir....nearly empty with some gunk on the bottom!!! Is this how they send vehicles out? I gotta tell them what to do? Im wondering what i paid the 900 dollars for...engine still seeps oil from rear of head gaskets...overall very disappointed. Originally took it in to replace cam...that didnt happen. Im not a very good mechanic and there are thing i miss, and there are things i just cant do, but... I wouldnt recommend anybody i know to them.

I took my vehicle in for an alignment. Evidently it was more of a challenge to work on because of rust. The mechanic took the extra time and care to make sure my vehicle was done right. They were extremely professional. I would highly recommend them based on my experience.

My boyfriend Cole took in his 1999 dodge to Harr motors and they told him he had a ton of issues on the truck told us it would cost couple thousand dollars to fix. We knew that wasn’t right so I told him to take it to Gellings, since I have heard good things about them turns out we need to do some things that will only cost 200-300 bucks. So happy we decided to take it in go Gellings. They fixed our oil leak problem as well they do a great job highly recommend!!!!!!

Their service manager, Fred is great! I had low tires, they aired them up and told me to keep an eye on them. If my low tire light comes on again, let them know and get right over there! This is TERRIFIC as my tires are from there and still under warranty!

Repair work is done quickly. Staff is very professional. A typed estimate is presented before the work is started. You have a courtesy car to drive while your vehicle is being fixed. Everything is top notch.
