Jency will jump through hoops for you unless you get on their bad side. They tried to serve me an eviction notice while it was federally illegal to do so due to COVID-19 AND tried to charge me an extra 2100 on what i owe for the last month i was there. They dont address tenant complaints, undermine the landlords they work with, and, when i tried to go through them for another property, they said theyd call me when it was ready to view. They never did, and they rented it out from under me the day after it was able to be viewed.I will never go through Jency again.

Melanie bobby is the best realtor in SD speaking from experience. When no one else would pick up their phones just because it was a sunday, Melanie Definately answered the call! I had been looking for property for awhile now and i’m from out of state. While looking for property i ran across one and started my conversation with Melanie, Im a very cautious person and so is my family its hard to trust people over the internet because you just don’t know where a scammer is trying to tap into your account. Anyways melanie helped me feel confident when buying a property and when far and beyond To accommodate me. We spent the whole afternoon looking for good potential property and she was even able to help out her other customers as well. This Realtor wont let you down and she is always there to help regardless. If shes busy she will definitely get back to you ASAP. And i love how friendly she is. If you need a realtor in SD she is who you need to speak to!

They are one of the worst agencies to rent from. When my boyfriend moved in to his apartment it was disgusting and reeked of marijuana from the maintenance men, it had to be cleaned before it was even living standards. The worst part was he still hasnt received his deposit back after 5 months of moving out. We waited till 4 months to even say anything. First they said it hadnt been cleaned yet but we learned someone already put a deposit down for utilities. Then they promised it would be sent to us within seven days and it wasnt. After that they said its not their fault because they couldnt get ahold of the owner Brian Beotcher and told us to get ahold of him..he doesnt answer or return any calls. 3 weeks later and still no deposit back. Definitely the worst agency I have ever worked with

I rented a apartment from them and I had kinda a poor experience with the proptey manager, she was very rude on the phone, keep in mind were all going though stuff dont take it on clients or youll lose them, Im glad Im moving to MI

I rented from Jency Agency with Melonie Bobby for over 2 years. They are terrible at communication, and will try to get any extra money out of you that they can (for maintenance, broken appliances, plumbing issues, etc.) I will never again rent or even buy from them in the future, and have urged friends who are looking to rent to look elsewhere. I wish it was possible to rate 0 stars....
