Leobigilda had amazing customer service she answered all my questions. She is VERY knowledgeable. She is like a doctor of pools!Being new to the pool world I was worried that I was going to be pushed to buy things that weren’t a necessity at the time, she was very helpful recommending products that didn’t break the bank. I was able to get a sand filter and all the necessary items to go with it. She was the only worker at the time and she handled it so well. There were multiple customers coming in and out and she was able to attend to everyone. You don’t see many workers like her nowadays and it made my day seeing someone so passionate about their job and working well while being understaffed. Thanks for a great experience I will be back soon! The day I came in was on 07/22/2021.
I went in last week in need of desperate help. My moms pool got away from her and turned a shade of green I’ve never seen. The staff was very patient and helpful and 2 days later we’re on the path of recovery. Lately all I see is Negative posts and we have forgotten to be kind to one another, especially in retail for some reason. So thank you for your kindness and knowledge for someone that needed a little direction.
Very unprofessional service here today.Came in for a part, found it marked 8.99. Check out its 11.99, show clerk price on rack, he says they must have increased since sign printed. Could not honor the price without going to manager for approval. Any other business would honor the stated price. Will not be back to this location. Since the are a private owner franchise, maybe a different one would have handled it better.

We recently got our pool redone but before we had a new pool. We always had the best service from pinch a penny. As I said before we just got a new pool that is alot more advance that our older pool. We go in to get our water tested and the girls are always so friendly. Just today we couldnt get our pool vacuum to work. Jaramillo, Hilda gave some suggestions to maybe try. Which worked! I feel like the spa ph up brand that they sell is watered down if not its just a very week solution. I feel like Im being ripped off. Not happy. The owner is rude but I havent seen him. ADDENDUM to the above. The store is under new management I spoke to him and feel encouraged that his supply will be more fitting to my needs.
Gosh, I have never read so many negative comments. I moved here from WNY, never had a pool, I have always been treated with kindness from all employees here. They are very helpful and carry my chlorine containers for me. Job well done. Ty.
Older gentleman that tested my pool water proceeded to tell at me telling me that I didnt do what was recommended from my water test 4 days ago. The instruction sheet from the previous test said to return with another water sample if there problem had not been resolved. He stated he could see what had been purchased from his store and because he didnt see liquid chlorine in my purchase history I must not be using it. I happen to buy my chlorine at Smith pools which is much closer to my home. I was so frustrated by the time I left I was in tears.NO ONE SHOULD BE TESTED THAT WAY!!! I will never return to that store!
Im paying for $145 a month and they only come to clean my pool two weeks out of the month then my pool sits with no cleaning for 2 weeks why should I pay for a month when im only receiving 2 weeks of service very disappointing 😡😡

Great workers here. The service was great as well. Some customers come in with attitudes and expect people to bow. I loved how they calmly defused the situation. Wish the products was a little but more cheaper though.
Well we are newbie pool owners so we can only rate our first experience at this store. We went in with our very 1st water test - not knowing what to expect, but Hilda was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with! Shes very knowledgeable and a true professional; wish all store associates were like her!
TERRIBLE customer service from the owner of this franchise !!! Drove 1/2 hour to get to this store to purchase a filter motor. Approx $300 sale !! There were 3 employees and the owner in the store with ZERO customers except for me. Owner told me I needed to leave the motor because he was too busy to take the 4 bolts off the back of motor that attach it to the housing. Said I should just do it myself. Claimed that he was too busy !!!! I then looked around the store - saw only me and 4 employees and shrugged my shoulders. I told him that it is his money that he is walking away from and will take my business elsewhere. I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone that actually wants to be treated like a customer. I do however see a beautiful new sign coming for the front window - UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

The service has been up and down depending on who I get and what Im in there for. I do like the fact that after you purchase 10 containers, (2 1/2 gallons each, I believe) of chlorine you get your 11th FREE! Going in today to purchase chlorine, lets see how it goes!! I will keep you posted! KAB68
Never owned a pool before. Ended up needing a few things and not knowing what because google give advise in a million different things the older gentleman that everyone speaks so rudely about gave me so much advise and knowledge I couldnt be happier. Also had him come out to check out the pool to give me pointers couldnt not say a bad thing about the experience. People saying bad things and rating on there experience seems a little harsh from what I delt with. 2 thumbs up from me
Bought Hayward Navi 50 flex pool vacuum. It didnt work and I went to return it. Cashier with Attitude Leobigilda said it would be 20% restocking fee because I used it, I just bought yesterday and it is not working properly. Then she goes to say I have an attitude since yesterday because I decided to buy a different vaccum with the bigger rebate and she had to do her job and cancel original transactions. These vacccum are NOT Cheap at $429, of course I want the bigger rebate. So she goes to tell me I cant sell this item and I said it Not working properly. I just want the same vaccum replaced and she goes I still have to charge you 20% restocking. Is this CRAZY??? Never again will we buy from them, they lossed a customer of 7 years.

I went into this store to return a pool float that I bought on Saturday it was losing air before I even got it to the pool so I went into the store and ask for a return of the item and the ignorant owner told me that there would be a 20% restocking fee I told him I do not understand why would there be a 20% restocking fee if it has a hole in it he told me because you opened it and that I needed to look at the back of the receipt and it states on there that there is a 20% restocking fee I told him well sir that blows my mind why would you restock it if it has a hole in it he proceeded to get very rude with me I told him that I do not need this kind of Flack when trying to return a defective item I spend a lot of money to the tune of $100 per month in your store why would you treat me this way again very rude I told him I would be taking my business to Leslies he told me get out of his store he is one of the most rudest store owners I have ever met if I could have given it zero Stars I would have I just really wish I would have never come across this ignorant person Ive shopped at Pinch A Penny many many times in the past never had to deal with the owner and now that I have dealt with the owner I will never ever go back very ignorant very rude and I recommend taking your business to Leslies pool supplies you will be much happier and not have to deal with an ignorant dirtbag I hope the wording of this was not too harsh it is just the truth I cannot believe that he is going to give up over $100 a month of my money just to be rude and want a 20% restocking fee on a $12.99 item wow
Terrible customer service. The owner called me a liar when I told him that the person who rang me up a couple of days prior did not take my phone number and that was why the purchase was not under my account. When I was able to locate the receipt, he told me that it was not his receipt even though it badly says the name of the store at the top. Pinch a Penny has lost a customer forever.
Horrible!! The owner is extremely rude. He raised his voice at me. I was told that I was taking advantage of him because I brought back a part that didnt work. Remind you it was a $2 part. Ive spent thousands of dollars in that store. Never ever would I recommend this place to anyone. I dont see how anyone could even go there. Use Smiths pool supply in town at least they wont give you grief for bringing back a $2 part.

These people posting bad comments are inadequate haters that cant do their own work. I have been coming here on off for 14 years. Dinesh has always gone out of his way to help me, and Im that customer who has the most complicated issues. Dinesh even came to my residence when he was sick to help me with my pump motor that another local pool co. Couldnt fix in 3 service calls. He just doesnt smile or talk excessively,but is knowledgeable.He lets his very attractive assistant Hilda flash all the smiles. The only negative - theres never any popcorn in that popper.
I found the products I needed but really wasnt offered much direction about how to use.
Excellent service, they check your pool water,sell the chemical u need.They also have Pool School, they come to your house and go step by step on the care & feeding of your pool.

I went in Pinch a Penny to get water tested for my pool. The owner was upset & spoke rudely to me asking where I get my chemicals from. I informed him I had chemicals left over at home. He rudely told me to get my water tested elsewhere. He repeated this several times as I walked out the door. I will get my water tested elsewhere & make all my purchases for my pool anywhre but Pinch a Penny.
I would never recommend this business to anyone. The owner is very rude and disrespectful. I asked to return some unopened chemicals and he told me very rudely that he would do it this time, but he would never do it again and he didnt care if I took my business elsewhere. He then proceeded to refund me and threw the receipt at me and started mumbling under his breath. I will take his advice and take my business elsewhere. Terrible business!
Prices are good, service is terrible. There are a couple people that work here that are really nice but one of the guys working here is very very rude. I wont do business here again.

Its really one star which I will get to. The second star is for convience, some what on prices. Other than that the owner is rude and another worker there is rude as well. So if you go there for convience reasons you better know your stuff. Questions you may have will either not be answered or they will make it so you walk out of there paying a ton of money for things you dont need. (This did not happen to me) but the jerk asssumed I didnt know anything and tried to get me to buy supplies I didnt need. I havent gone back and its been over a year. Im not looking for someone to kiss my butt but some good customer service would be nice. Plus they would have business from my family here in Zhylls, we both own pools.

Extremely rude It was an older man. He was not nice. Told me to not come there if I was not going to buy something. A lot of the stock is Old Stock yellow cracking plastic. Im calling corporate.
