Noah at Cals towing was the most pleasant and professional person I have felt with in a very long time. Having been in retail for 30 years myself I was happy to have someone else who has ethics and customer service skills. Everyone there went above and beyond to help me with a very difficult situation. I would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance. I cant say enough about how helpful they were. Hopefully I wont be in a situation to need them but if I did I wouldnt hesitate to call them .

These guys are very professional and they charge reasonable prices. Today i got my car towed to a local tireshop and the towing guy arrived on time and not only that but i accidentally gave him $60 extra and before he left,he noticed that extra cash,so he came back and returned my money! Now i dont know many towing companys that would do that,so from now on,if i ever need a tow,i will definitely call cals towing again!. I highly recommend them.

Drivers are completely unprofessional! At a drive thru and he’s honking at me to move! Yelling at us telling us that his family is more important more important then our food. What a jerk! We are stuck and between two cars! What do you expect? You can’t wait two minutes for the cars to move?

Very courteous, efficient, and professional!

I’ve never had a service at this shop but I feel I need to address a concern of mine. Well driving home tonight I was tailgated on the freeway for most of my drive by a tow truck with their fog lights on. I was going well above the speed limit and yet this driver kept going faster as they kept close to me. They’d switch lanes and get behind a car going much slower, and jump right back into the fast lane and back behind me. When this driver was finally able to make a move to cut off many other cars to get “ahead”. They were now going a speed that could definitely be observed as reckless driving especially in a tow truck going maybe 100 MPH or more.

I was almost clipped by one of their drivers on the 10 freeway yesterday. He went from the fast lane all the way across all 4 lanes of traffic nearly clipping/side swiping multiple cars and speeding excessively. He exited the freeway and continued to drive recklessly through Yucaipa city streets. No lights on and no regard for the safety of others. Apparently this is a trend.

Tom was prompt, polite, patient and extremely professional. He was able to put my non-running car on his flatbed quickly, and drop it off at my chosen repair shop. He even commented that he approved of the repair shop Id chosen! If I need them again, I will call Cals in the future!

The drivers are reckless. They will speed up when people are switching lanes. Also the driver nearly crashed into me and almost forced me off the road because he was road raging. This is an unprofessional company. Be careful around the tow truck drivers.

Crystal is awesome and so kind. Matt fixed my rod, and was super funny. Despite knowing my car was toast the experience was fun. Thank you guys for the awesome customer service.

We have used Cals Towing multiple times over the years, mostly through Auto Club. The service has been consistently quick and courteous, regardless of the situation at the time. I am very confident working with Cals Towing and expect to see them later today since I have a vehicle dead in the water in our carport. They have helped out with actual tows and other services at different times and weve been well pleased with the service. (added later that morning) As expected, received wonderful customer service again! Thank you Cals Towing.

1st negative experience I had using my AAA membership because of this tow company.Driver showed up like he didnt want to be there and made the excuse my van was to heavy for his 17,000 pound flatbed tow truck I showed him my GVWR and payload sticker on driver side door jam but he wasnt aware of how to read those numbers. My van weighs 5200 lb. and it was completely empty. Ive had the same van towed three other times all using AAA with different tow companies with no excuses because weight is not an issue on this vehicle. I have a full-size Ram 1500 that weighs 5900 lb so weighs more than this van although he said he tows full size pick ups all the time! Long story short called AAA back they sent E&C Towing showed up towed me 10 miles back home and all is good.!P.S. funny thing is Cals Towing has a 7000 pound Ford Excursion image on their review page so they towed a vehicle 2000 pounds heavier than my van! must have been a different driver that knew what he was doing.

Breaking down on the freeway can be frightening. Breaking down on the freeway in the far left (fast) lane can be REALLY frightening. Breaking down in the fast lane on the 10 Freeway with cars whizzing by at 90 can be absolutely terrifying.Gary at Cals Towing to the rescue!This great guy got me safely into his truck, loaded up my truck, somehow managed to get us back on the freeway and to my mechanic. Gary was practiced, professional and personable. Im not saying I enjoyed the breakdown, but the quick and excellent service took some of the sting out of the situation.Thanks Gary! Thanks Cals!

The best in Yucaipa

Was stuck on the side of the road with my dog with no shade in 110° heat. The tow arrived 10-15 minutes before AAA estimated. The driver graciously allowed my dog in the tow truck to cool down. I was back on the road within an hour. Excellent service.

Tom is the best! Our first experience with a tow truck servies and he went above and beyond! He drove smooth and was very mindful of our 4 month old that was sleeping. Thank you Tom! Your the best! If I could give a zero I would. Bruce McLaughlin is the rudest, most disrespectful person. After taking 2 hrs to reach a tow destination that should of taken 40 minutes he cussed me out because he said he called over 100 times and I didnt answer. Well he was calling the wrong number. But I guess calling me a f***in bi**h is ok according to the tow company!!! He also stated he had other calls to attend to before dropping the car and if I wasnt present he would take the car to impound lot. But according to AAA he isnt suppose to do calls in transport of the car!! So they dont follow rules either!!

A reckless tow truck driver from Cals towing cut me off on the 10 freeway forcing me off the road. This is not the first review Cals towing has for unsafe drivers. I really hope they have a protocol for this because they are going to hurt someone one of these days. Watch out for this tow truck driver (lic. 57940G1) he obviously does not care about the safety of others around him.

Found myself in the worst situation during what was supposed to be a quick weekend camping trip in the San Bernadino mountains near Big Bear. After talking to AAA and three different tow companies later Matt, my tow driver was the only willing to put the effort into making the trek up the mountain to get me home.Despite my location and how late into the night it took to get my dropped off. My car had a blowout on the freeway but I managed to get to the outside lane - scary. AAA said they would put a rush order and within 20 minutes CalTowing came to the rescue and professionally got my car into the tire shop. Very good service,thank you.

Ive been towed by good drivers/companies and bad ones. THIS Driver at Cals Towing is by tfar the best Tow Truck Driver I will EVER come across Im fairly certain...Our Driver, Bruce was quick to arrive, very friendly, accommodating as well as competent and courageous. He was putting his life on the line to help us as big rigs and speeding cars flew by him just 4 or 5 feet away. while he was trying to change our tire...After he does all this work it turned out our spare was totally flat too so he had to tow us after all ... and he did it with NO bad attitude or frustration that I almost have come to expect these days from most people, sadly.. During the tow drive he made sure the shop we were gong to would be expecting us and really kept our spirits high despite the misfortune we had found ourselves in. When it was all over and we were back on the road my wife said That was actually a pretty fun adventure because of that guy. She took the words right out of my mouth. The drivers name was Bruce. Super guy. Cals towing definitely gets 5 stars from us.

Excellent Service here from Calʻs. Stacy took care of us in the office, and our driver took care of towing my personal vehicle from Yucaipa all the way to Cypress in OC. I had a large commercial stake bed a few weeks later, and Stacy helped me out again by referring a large truck service. Iʻll definitely refer them and use them again.

Used to be the go-to tow company in the area, unfortunately they recently sold to a new owner who is less than stellar. The new owner yelled and acted very unprofessional during a recent encounter with a crew working to clear a joyrider out of my neighbors yard.

Called AAA at 6:30 am for a tow and they said Cals would be there in 45 min. They are 2 blocks from my house! I drove my work truck over and they were all in the yard having coffee an a smoke! Real busy now they are sending a tow truck from San Bernardino to the yucaipa area makes no sense to me. 3:45 min.

So my friend brakes blows out in the freeway.Cals wants to take him to a tire shop called Morales Tire instead of the address where his telling them. So he calls me to translate to the Dispatch and the Dispatch was an complete unproffesional Jerk. He tells me that Morales is going to cover the bill and that either He drops the car where its at and I pay the service time or Its going to forceably be taken to Morales since the truck was already on the tow bed. I tell him look you guys are here to provide a service and the cuatomer wants it tow to Banning instead. So he tells me to secure a credit car or he will take it to their inpound yard. These guys are totally dishonest. They are use to easy prey, easy money. Long story short they brought the truck to my tire guy in banning. Way more affordable than the whole bill i would off end up accruding by the end of the journey.

The guys down at Cals were a life saver! Was told by AAA that it would be an hour and they were there in 25 minutes. They were supposed to take my truck to a local shop to be fixed but we were told that they couldnt fix it for a couple days! So the guys at Cals changed thier plans and towed me all the way to Apple Valley!! I couldnt recommend or thank them enough!!

They have new drivers which makes it a pleasure to call them!!!!!!
