Nice gym, however Im noticing Im already almost maxing out on a lot of the leg machines and its not like I can add more weight to those like I can the leg press.

Affordable gym with good service. Plenty of equipment, and hardly any problems getting the machines I need for my workouts. The staff can be seen constantly cleaning all parts of the gym.

Love how clean it is. Everything looks pretty new. The staff of courteous and try to help you resolve any issues the showers were clean although I wish they had a better curtain system because the curtains suck and should go to the floor and hang up some hooks in the shower area so I dont have to lay my towel on that dirty shower curtain by draping it over the bar. But I definitely think you need to rethink the shower curtains the bar and the curtain and why not be using some sort of interchangeable or recyclable floor mats in the shower stalls? Theres nowhere to set your stuff while you shower. Hate that part

Been a member @ Yuba PF since day 1 - this place rocks the gym world, like no other Ive seen in my life! Ive been a member of various gyms since I was 17, had to have my mom sign a form to OK me to join my first time. Im now 54 - shhh - ha! ;) I only wish this concept was around in my teens/20s, yet Im ever-so-grateful its here now! The staff @ Yuba City PF rocks, always so friendly and everyone keeps the place so nice & clean! THANKS! I truly appreciate Sammy, the current Personal Trainer, as well. She really listens, helps you design a plan specifically for each individual, incorporates the entire PF space, and helps you reach your personal goals! :) So encouraging! I LOVE the lunk alarm concept, too, as I have a true appreciation for exercise in moderation, as the Bible teaches, after seeing many friends burn out over the years, injure themselves badly, when doing extreme stuff of all sorts. I so appreciate PF Yuba City! Only thing I can say on the flip side is I cant wait until we get our new stretch cage -- experienced it first in San Antonio TX PF when visiting our kids there --- it is AMAZING! :) Keep up the great job everyone @ Yuba City PF!! Its a little overwhelming at first to see all the bright yellow and the Barney-Purple equipment. So much purple. The upgraded Black Card is worth it if you actually have a guest to bring with you EVERY time, because youre basically paying for two of the standard $10 memberships. You must have a bank account for the monthly payments. They do not have a lump sum pay for the year in full option (yet?) Everything is new, so its in good working condition. You need to bring your own towels and toiletries if youre using the showers. Bring a lock if youre placing your belongings in the lockers. The lockers are only day use so they will cut off a lock accidentally left on. This place is great for the price. No, they do not have daycare.

I like to work out while other people work out. I really find its easier to concentrate if everybody in close range is doing the same. Its really difficult to take selfies in my workout. Some people just turn into photographers!!! Professional....??? I left

Cancelled my membership during the pandemic but the staff is incompetent and only froze my account for a few months. Found out they were still charging me and they said they can’t do anything about refunding me. Haven’t been there in a year. Don’t trust these idiots they’ll just take your money. Worst gym.

I worked at this location and I’m sorry but it is the worst working environment I’ve ever been in. I currently quit today because of the way I was being treated. The GM got fired about a week ago because he wasn’t doing his job and the assistant manager is also very terrible to her employees especially me. It was obvious that she didn’t like me and she would talk about the other employees to another employee that is trying to now be the assistant manager. It’s a mess there and I feel bad for my former coworkers. They have to deal with the immaturity, non-professional, and unorganized situation at this location. Planet Fitness I hope you do something about this problem.

I enjoy it a lot there, everyone keeps to themselves, the equipment works well, theres many options, and they keep clean!

1st time back since the covid lock down. They are doing a great job honoring all of the safety precautions. Glad they are back open.

After this whole co-vid thing the staff became very rude. I just stopped my membership after one of the staff was rude to me. Not worth the harassment or the dirty place.

They are back open and it is time to get this Covid weight off. No too bad as far as restrictions. Limited number of max capacity, wear mask when not on a machine and make sure you wipe down equipment (which you should do anyways people).

Im so excited PF is finally open 🙌 I walked in today just to get an overview of the COVID-19 percussions and check out the amenities before making the decision to join. Sam at the front desk did an excellent job explaining everything. She was so friendly and welcoming! (Give her a raise lol) I know its tough because the gym could be shutdown again and social distancing keeps them at 40% capacity but I cant wait to sign up for the PF Black Card and get back to the gym. Im confident this location and fellow gym goers are taking all the necessary measures to make it as safe as possible.

Seems cool and for 15$ a month no commitment I will be using it more often. I forgot to ask if I could go to any planet fitness on the monthly commitment. Still worth it! People really nice too.

Nobody there knows what they are doing they all look around at each other when you ask them anything! They’ve been closed for months now and choose to charge people the day after they opened without letting people cancel while they are closed! Not able to get my money back & when the staff are done looking at each other for answer they are rude. Never going back I wish I could give them negative stars

Much better choices in town with lower rates and planet fitness prices are beatable do your due diligence and shop around other gyms do offer better value. Including no social experiments. One last thing other gyms dont need long legal contracts plus your credit card info plus your atm or checking account info.shop around you will be happy you did other gyms in town do month to month membership .lets be honest most people decide to join a gym to get fit but after a few weeks we stop going. Lots of free weights and machines at no judgment here Planet Fitness. Friendly staff, many bottles of disinfectant and paper towels are spread throughout this exercise warehouse. The water fountains are clean and operable for bottles and mouths. Adults of all ages, shapes and sizes working out, and well over a dozen and 1/2 TVs placed strategically in front of stationary bicycles, rowing machines and ellipticals. Bring your earplugs to listen to the TV(s) or to tune into your cell for a more personal musical experience as you sweat. My spouse reports the womens locker room, bathroom and showers as spacious and clean. The mens side is the same except I would add the wordreasonably in front of clean. Snacks and sports drinks available for purchase, adequate parking also noted. Good WIFI, good reception at Planet Fitness in Yuba City.

The homeless population of Marysville/Yuba City most all know about this place. They use the mens bathroom sinks to basically shower. The bathrooms become disgusting. Other then that the gyms is great.

First time I went into this gym for membership information I was met by a rude attendant at the counter and promptly left. Was thinking about joining for the New Year when I saw a promotion for .20, and after following all prompts online saw that it was click bait. The actual cost of joining is not the .20 they claim, but the .20+prorated rate for the remainder of the month.Not a big deal really, but when I get baited with false or misleading offers, I leave. Sucks cause I was going to get membership finally.

Great place at the mall to work out. Parking is a small problem but a little walk dont hurt no one. Not bad for $20 bucks

Really enjoy going here. Comfortable place to work out. Love the easy to understand machines, Hydro Lounge is my favorite reward after a workout. You get a lot for a very reasonable price you pay for your membership. The only mark against it is, the tanning booths should be cleaned and disinfected by the staff. The members dont wipe them down after use. Overall a great place.

The staff is Pleasant here and I like the environment. It is also kept very clean. Very non-competitive and welcoming atmosphere and the people here are pretty friendly. My only wish is that they had a bigger free workout area. Tons of cardio machines and you cant go wrong for the price

Moved to Yuba City and wanted to transfer my membership. Told them I needed help and got shut down right away. Was told to call my home place to get any account info.Called my home place and the service was way better. He helped me with the transfer and went through each step.He also informed me that the rep at the Yuba City could have helped me.Hopefully that will be last bad experience and will remember who the person was that didnt help me.

I like this gym, and the people that go there, Ive been going regularly for almost a year and I havent had any problems. Staff is good, my only issue is when there are too many people and then u cant use the machine u want lol

For 3 months now we have been getting charged while the gym was closed and we couldnt reach anyone there so we emailed the companies website and they said we have to send a letter to the gym to start the cancel process. Its ridiculous. Terrible customer service. Finally got through and they could cancel it finally but not reimburse me for the times charged on a single gym while they were not even open.

I go here almost every day its nice to see the other people are having the same problem as me and gives me a confidence boost to workout everyday though employees there are nice and positive they always greet you and let you know to have a nice day once you leave. This gym happens to be cheaper than NS Fitness so if youre planning to save a buck join this gym instead. Sure the gym may not be as good as NS but it will get the job done if you actually do the exercise instead of comparing the gyms.

I came in based on the ads for 20 cent startup). I was charged $5.13 on 1/6. When I called they then told me it was .20 off the start up fee. When I asked what the startup fee is they told me ten dollars. First, the math doesnt work, second why would I sign up for less than one dollar off? This is not what they advertised, offering 20 cents off is BS and certainly not worth it. They were snotty when I asked them about the fees. I was told I had until Feb 1 to cancel without a 10 month commitment...this had better be true or I will be writing another review about that. YOUR ADVERTISING IS A LIE....FRAUD COMPANY

Some people complain about the no judgment zone rules, but honestly I think its great. How can you beat $10 a month? If you feel like you need free weights though this place is not for you.

I was cane shamed lol I took in 1 paper with some exercises my physical therapist wants me to do. I asked one of the 4 employees behind the counter where 2 specific machines are. Not how to use them, not help me use them. Just where they are. She points across the room, which is no help at all so I asked her if she could show me. She says Ya, I guess if youre quick Im 43, a bit young for a cane I suppose but she definitely indicated that the cane would slow me down. I left, canceling immediately.

Always clean, never too crowded unless you hit the after work crowd on weekdays but even then you can get a workout in.

Lacks the comforts of other gyms in the area. Biggest issue is the lack of weights. I do not care for Smith machines. Which is your only option for non dumbell exercises.Got charged at reopening even though I sent a cancelation letter. Employees where unhelpful and frankly rude. So bad gym bad people bad practices.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, variety of exercise equipment, classes, parking lot and hydro jet therapy. First time there as a guest.

This place is good if you arent someone who wants to be a body builder. If you are looking for a safe area to lose weight or if you just want to do a quick Express workout then this place is for you. There is also a no grunting policy when working out so yeah. If that bothers you then you dont have to hear that. Lol.

Im really excited about this opening up close to my house but EXTREMELY disappointed in the hours they will be operating. Most people I know, myself included prefer to work out in the mornings before work. This Planet Fitness doesnt open until 10!!!

Staff is friendly. The patrons are what you would expect for a $10 a month gym, but no complaints. Clean facility, no regrets.

Yuba city office

Joined online this morning. My email said someone would give me a tour. When I got there two young girls were at the front desk and one had me sign papers and didnt say anything else. Came back to desk after workout because I wanted to tan. Same girl said do you want the standing or lay down one? I said standing. She gave me a number and I had to ask where it was. When I got in the room the floor was dirty and I had to figure out the machine on my own since Ive never used it. After tanning I left the number on the desk. I hope they have better staff then the ones I encountered today and hopefully they do some cleaning or I will be thinking about cancelling my memebership.

Canceled my membership and they continued to take payments for 5 months. Now no one wants to speak with me in regards to the situation. Beyond frustrated, I would like upper management to do something or at least call me back.

Lunk alarm goes off 2-3x a night consistently when I am there working out. Staff does nothing about it. Sometimes manager uses the bloody alarm to call staff to the front. Very annoying and manager was condescending and unsympathetic and let me know that was “just something they did” at this location.

Clean, welcoming, stress free, great staff, lots of options to work with. Locker room is way better than my previous. Gym

Not bad. Not many free weights. Kind of a girly gym. Too many rules. And they pizza on certain days of the week? Is their goal to keep you fat so you have to keep coming back? Idk. They have everything you need though. 3 stars.

Very clean gym and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. There’s one particular girl at the front desk who always manages to compliment me when I check-in and it’s always a bit of a confidence boost to kick off a workout. Good price for memberships, too. I upgraded to the Black Card; however, I don’t always use all the benefits this level offers (ie hydro massage, bringing +1, etc) so it’s kind of a waste of money for me personally. I’d much rather be a standard card holder but that’s just me. Great gym nonetheless. Just wish they’d put a PF in Oroville so I didn’t have to drive 30 minutes one way to workout.

Planet Fitness is more concerned with their employees personal grievances than taking care of their paying clients.My son got a black card membership with a friend and started working out there about a week ago. Upon his first visit he realized that his girl friends ex that she had dated for a month several months ago was working there. However he holds no ill will against this individual and ignored him. Out of the blue after about 3 - 4 times of working out there, he was told that the office needed to talk to him about his account. When he called the office to find out what the problem was, they informed him that an employee associate had called corporate and complained because he didnt want my son working out there. Instead of telling the associate to buck up, do his job and ignore my son, they stated they have to take care of their associates and that my son was banned from going there any more, even though he had had no contact with this associate.....so much for a Judgement Free Zone. Guess they have more customers than they need, so my son and his friend will be going to another 24 hr gym in our area without all the drama!

I tried to check you on Google Plus to see what equipment you have there and check out the gym but most of what I saw in over 160 pictures was this annoying blonde lady in almost every picture. It was really annoying and made me to change my mind about the whole gym. It is not a personal account to post all these pictures of her in there. People dont really care to see you in almost every picture. People would be more interested in seeing pictures of the gym.
