Called in the morning to see if they could fit me in to change my headlight, Jordan said he would stay late to make sure that it could be done today for me. When I get there he remembered our conversation and was very personable! My headlights are not an easy change and he took the time to make sure it was done right! This was first time using Uncle Eds.. The prices was good compared to other oil places. I called first to check for the prices and business hours.. Jordan answered the phone, he was very pleasant to talk to and was very professional over the phone, so I decided to give Uncle Eds a try. Jordan end up actually helping, he was very professional and helpful, loved his daddy jokes. Him and another coworker were helping a car ahead of me... He let me know he will be with me in a minute, I had no issues with and I was happy to wait. I was truly pleased with my excellent service and I will be back to get my next oil changed again!! I had a good experience here. The staff were curtious, friendly and professional. They actually washed my windshield and filled up my tires unlike other places to claim full service but skip them. However, they were not going to fill up my two back tires because the cap on the tires were in too tightly but this other guy was able to get them off.I cant believe the price of oil changes these days though. $49.99 for an oil change with the basic oil??All the employees were unmasked. I asked one employee if he knew whether all employees are vaccinated and he said that he wasnt sure. I told him I asked because I noticed they were all unmasked. He wasnt rude about me questioning him which I really appreciate. But to make customers more comfortable, especially since were still in a pandemic, I would appreciate if masks were worn.

I had an oil change done this morning. They had much knowledge of my car, did a great job. Actually did more than I asked as a courtesy and to inform me. They were understaffed and I was still in and out in 10 minutes or so. Not only that, their personalities made me laugh a few times. They checked all my fluids gave me options that were honest. $30.00 out the door. Im happy. They even clued me in on things to watch for with my car.

We loved getting our oil changed here. The manager was very personable and even gave us an extra discount after a little trivia game. Definitely will be going here again and highly recommend.

This was my first time getting my oil changed here, and this is probably where I’ll take it as long as I live around here. I got all of my errands done, including an oil change, in an hour and a half. All the staff was incredibly kind and and knowledgeable. One even showed me how to change my cabin air filter step by step, so I can do it myself if I’d like to. I assume all of the people who work here are as good as the team I saw today, but special shout out to Trevor, Liam, Chad, and Tim

This team did an amazing job. They were very friendly and got me in and out in 10 minutes or less. They also let me know my filter wasnt due to be changed yet and let me see my oil levels once they were done. I am officially making them my go to guys for my oil changes.

The serviceman were informative and respectful. They shared details about my car without pushing me to buy more things. I felt comfortable servicing my car, which isnt a normal occurrence.

I can go to many other places for these service but I prefer to go to Uncle Ed’s at the 4140 Ellsworth Rd Ypsilanti, MI 48197 location from Southfield. The entire staff is absolutely the best and they always ensure that my vehicle is serviced properly. I will continue to to drive all the way here because of the impeccable service I receive. They helped me add hose clamps to tighten down my noisy cat converter and topped up my fluids all free of charge. Saved me a lot time

I was really happy with their service. It was quick and I appreciated their transparency. They showed me what was done and the old and new replacements ( engine filter).

Depending on the day, youll have a small wait, but they do a good job.

These guys were friendly, professional and fast. Great discount coupon too. Had to get a specialty oil for my vehicle and it arrived in 5 minutes. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Mostly okay. not sure why a couple of lightbulbs for the license plate were 12 bucks a pop. they only cost about 2 dollars. If I had known I would have been charged so much for them to switch them out I would have done it myself.

I came in for routine oil change and transmission fluid change which was overdue and discolored due to mileage of vehicle (160k+). Everyone I interacted with was very professional and checked everything from tires, to lights and filters. They kept me informed every step of the way and even showed me the fluid levels both before and after service. Highly recommend.

We were down the road at the UPS store and the battery died in our Jeep so I call there because it was close to get a quote on a new battery and said we were trying to get a jump so we could get it there, the store Ian M. ( store manager) quickly said Oh, you are that close? I ll see you in 3 minutes! We didn t have jumper cables and he was there in a flash to give us a jump so we could then come to the shop for a battery replacement! It was so generous and my boyfriend and I were so grateful for his generosity and promptness! Travis W. ( utility technician) did the battery for us and was very efficient and very nice! We also had Steven M. working on our car ( lower technician) and those guys got us in and out in no time so we could continue on to do our Christmas shopping! Will 100% be going back there for all of our auto needs! Best customer service I have experienced in a long long time!!

I would recommend to anyone, a little pricey but the top notch service is more than worth it. If you bring your car here they check absolutely everything. Takes a lot of hassle out of my life. I even saw them get a break light working for the people ahead of me. Also very professional and as quick as possible with all they do for you.

Humble, not pushy, friendly and attentive. This place costs $$$$ but the peace of mind is worth it! I honestly drive out every time wondering why everyone here isn’t doing something more lucrative like selling insurance or something.

I really appreciated the customer service here on this visit. I ask questions about my bill and sometimes people get upset or short with you when you do, which can be uncomfortable when theyre working on your car or I guess just in general. I really appreciated these guys explaining why an oil change on a Malibu can be $80!

The crew seemed energetic and pleasant, and I liked the way they showed you the costs, totalled, up front. But like all of these quick lube places, they pushed for a bunch of upsells.

I like the service..The facility in nice and clean. The staff is professional. I dont like the way they Recommend things you need. If I say no thanks let it go. Dont try to persuade me to see it your way. I know they need to make money, but I need to keep as much of mine as I can.😂😂😍😍

1 hour for a simple drain and fill oil change. I understand the 20 minute wait to get in but another 40 minutes. Very pushy sales people. I knew better than to go but I was in a hurry. Could of went to the dealer saved money and got better service. Would not not recommend.

We love Uncle Ed’s locations! The mechanics communicate with each other thoroughly and they make sure each car is handled with care.We had a bad experience at a different oil shop that left the air hose connected to our tire and told us we were done and could go. Before we got out of the garage we heard a loud POP sound of the hose ripping off the valve stem.At uncle Ed’s they talk to each other in order to prevent this exact type of thing from happening! They are amazing, knowledgeable, and always friendly!!

The whole crew was very personable and helpful, offered a bunch of services to me and explained their importance perfectly. I really just wanted the oil change and the oil system cleaner but Im glad to know all of that was available.

Told me over the phone $10 to replace headlight bulb. When I got there they said $250! Yes, two hundred and fifty dollars. Never using any of their services anywhere. Price gouging at its worst.Update: received a call from a regional manager and was advised that the worker was embarrassed because they didnt know how. Knowledge and training start from the top. I recommended the executive team concentrate on training, not up selling everything. Laziness is a spreading disease in any business.

This is one of those scam companies that up sells you for everything you dont need. You go in for a simple oil change and leave with a dent in your wallet. Would 100% advise not to go here. They offer a friendly sales pitch and really seem nice to people that know little about vehicle maintenance. Take their recommendations to a second opinion somewhere else!
