Showed up after work at 530 was afraid they wouldnt have time to change my oil cuz they close at 6. They were very nice and informational and they changed my oil within 20 mins. I will be goin back once i need another oil change. To bad they dont do transmissions but they did point me to someone that can. Thank you so much :)

I was referred to this place, and it was a great referral. The customer service was awesome. It didnt take them too long to fix my car. And it didnt cost an arm and leg to get my vehicle fixed. The guys at Maynards were willing to fix my hood latch as an immediate walk-in when 2 other places told me that they were too busy. Quick to get you in, repair prompt, prices very reasonable. You need to look past the area/the outside/the lobby. Yes, its a little rough, but its a mechanics shop. I (female) went alone and hung out in the lobby and at a nearby restaurant with no issues.

Were very quick with repairing my vehicle. However, when I approved the estimate to repair it, they forgot to put the diagnostic charge in the quote, so it was $85 more when I came to pick it up. Considering most mechanic shops will include that into the labour cost when you do the work with them, I was a little surprised. Make sure you ask, when they give you the repair quote, if that includes the diagnostic.

This place is awesome. I needed a few things fixed bit I was on a $800 budget. I couldnt afford fixing the hoods cable. But they hooked up a cable that is hooked up and very slightly hangs out from my hood. And it was free of charge. That saved me $150. They get you in and fix your car right. And can get you off and running the same day. My car needed to stay overnight because of what needed to be fixed and I dropped it of two hours before they closed. I had no ride at the time so the guy offered to drop me off. Its a great group of guys. Ill never take my car to a chain again. I will always take it here!

My truck was a hot mess. Not only did they fix it in a timely manner and then when I got it back it drives now like it is brand new. I am so pleased with the results. I am a long time customer and I will be back again next time I need work done on my truck

Great local shop ... was told what the problem was and how much to fix it... the repair was done correctly and VERY fast ... would recommend this shop to friends and family ...

!!!!!WARNING!!!!! !!!!!!ALERT!!!!!!!!They was fast to diagnose my car. They said I needed a rack and pinion, power steering pump, and a high pressure hose. He tells me its going to be $1.159.27 and it will run like a new car.I tell him going ahead and fix everything. The next day he calls and tells me my car is done. I pay him and I notice pulling out of the lot the pump is whining. Could be air bubbles in the lines. Next day I call up there to tell them about it. He tells me its going to be awhile before they can look at it they are busy. Long store short I went up there they told me to take the cap off at night. Next time I went up there the put fluid in it. The last time I went up there the looked at it and told me the guy that fixed it wont be in until Monday and theyll fix it for free.Monday afternoon he calls me and tells me the return line is bad. Its going to be $300 more dollars $60 for the part, and $240 for labor.The guy was hesitant a had a guilty sound to his voice. He tried to explain what might have happened, or couldve happened. Then asked if they could fix it, or if I was coming to get it.Now Im stuck to decide if Im going to pay the $240 more dollars for labor that shouldve been with the diagnosis. They are not professionals up there at all someone made a mistake up there either the guy that diagnosed it, or the guy that fixed it. Whatever it was or whatever happened who knows when your doing that big of a job why would they use the old lines, and orings. Then try to change me labor again. I wouldve gladly paid for the part. I am not paying for the labor when they had me taking the cap off every night, keeping the fluid up, driving around wile the car is whining for a week and a half, and been calling and going up there.

My cars check engine light came on after I tried to use my remote start and my engine sounded as though it was sputtering. I was able to take it to this shop for a diagnostic evaluation ($80 which would go toward any work done on my vehicle) where the friendly guy Dilan greeted me and paid close attention to problem I was describing. After having my car for 2 hours, I was called and told that my car had been checked from head to toe and my check engine light was no longer on. I asked if they could check it again and they did but found no issues still. When I received it that same day, there were no issues. Two days later the check engine light returned as well as the sputtering sound. I took it back that day and was unfortunately told this time around that my electrical issue was one that they were not equipped to handle on a newer vehicle like mine and that I should take it to a dealership. (I have a 2012 Chevy Traverse) All in all, I had a great experience with this shop and the people working there but was disappointed that they could not fix my car maintenance issue.

They have cleaned up the waiting area and office space. I have taken my vehicles to Maynard Auto since the mid 1990s and have gotten great pricing along with great service which is hard to come by nowadays. My family also take their vehicles in for repair when needed.

They are good friendly people and they get you out as quickly as possible, the rates are pretty fair also. The work they do is also very good.

I am usually skeptical with auto repair shops. I took my car to Mr. Muffler on Washtenaw Avenue. The new owner asked fot $400 for a simple job. He also said I needed some sensors. I drove it to Maynard. He charged me only $100 and I disnt need a sensor either. Jeff Maynard s very honest and a simple man. I recommend him highly.

I went there cause I thoight my exauat was leaking. They took a look underneath. No leak but my muffler was loose. So it was missing rubber piece. I paid to have fixed. But I here bumping in my trunk. Took it back they said muffler is still loose and needs rods. I was so upset why they did not tell me that two days when I bring it in the first timeBeware They are Money Hungry. Go Eagles Automotive on Cross streets. Not far. They will hook u up and be honest the first time.

Maynards is a diamond in the rough. The waiting area is beyond dismal, but I could sit in it quite happily knowing my car is in good hands. These guys are friendly and efficient, they know what they are doing, and they can fix just about anything. Their prices are totally reasonable: once I took my car in with a noisy muffler, expecting to have to pay hundreds for a whole new system, but the repair was less than $50. No gouging! I highly recommend Maynards, and I would suggest checking them out first before you take your vehicle anywhere else----- and dont be turned off by the waiting area.

Extremely rude. Overpriced, they started by giving me a price of $85. Then it was $215. Then they topped it off at $350. To repair my exhaust. They had just put it on last fall for $500. A complete exhaust system. It seems like another Whitneys auto situation. I will avoid this place at all costs.

Although Maynard couldnt diagnose the problem with my car, (their diagnostic equipment wasnt up to date with VWs), their guess was right on. Had to take it elsewhere and replace the fuel pump assy.Thank you guys.
