I really like this company! They are honest, hard workers. Weve had so many contractors and work teams in York fail to return calls & emails, or even just show up to jobs theyve been scheduled to do. Moving here from another state where people show up ready to work, it just blew my mind that anyone could stay in business with such sloppy practices around here. I pass their trucks all the time around our neighborhood, so I finally decided to give them a shot. Robinson Family Tree Service LLC is definitely NOT like other companies weve dealt with here. I did my research before hiring them- I checked online reviews, looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website and drove over to look at recent work they did for Wellspan at Apple Hill Medical Center- a huge complex near our place. Everything checked out.The Robinson Family was responsive to facebook messages, emails and phone messages and behaved responsibly when on our property. We hired them to take down a line of 10 enormous (at least 70 tall...) ugly, monster Leyland Cypress trees and grind the trunks. I asked that they be careful with our fences, our young trees that stood nearby, and our great danes that come and go in the backyard. This job was HARD. Our property is on a steep incline and they had to move a lot of brush long distances. Most of the day the trees offered no shade because of their orientation in relation to the sun and fence. No problem for this team, though. They showed up ready to work every single day, exactly when they said they would and worked through the heat. They did exactly what they promised they would do and met every single expectation we had and more. Our fence was left in great shape, the other trees were unharmed, the grass was left in near perfect condition even though I did not expect that to be the case because of the recent wet weather and the incline. Our gates were never carelessly left open for our big silly dogs to escape, and Im pretty sure our dogs think they made some new best friends.My husband and I plan to hire this team for the removal of at least 2 more troublesome trees on our farm this year, so I hope they dont get TOO popular! This is for Landon, the review that was left is a blatant lie. 1st we have not been accepting any new clients for the past 8 months. We have not worked with a Landon. And if we had and there was any kind of an issue we stand behind our work. The appropriate response would have been to contact us and we could have rectified any issues. This is the first time I used Robinsons Tree Service, and I would use them again. Hopefully I wont need to, but if I do, I will call them. Very friendly from the start. The lady who answered the phone was super friendly. Would have given them the work just based off of that conversation. Anyhow, they got the trees down with no damage to anything else as space was cramped. Cleaned up, and ground the stumps, all at a fair price. Great job. Jamie came out right away to do the estimate and beat the competitors pricing. He took out our huge oak tree safely in one day that was above a car and my home the next week. He then came back and trimmed 3 of our other trees which all hang above our house. He was kind, courteous, and fun. We have recommended him to our friends and family and would have him back in a second if we need anymore tree services.

We had two large trees fall during a storm. I left a message to get an estimate and the owners girlfriend was able to call back that evening AND come out THAT NIGHT to do the estimate! (When a tree is laying across your back yard and smashed on top of your kids swingset, timeliness matters!)He came out, was super professional, gave us a great estimate, and was on his way. We got another estimate done and decided to go with Robinson. His guys came out the next day and cut the tree up into ~16 logs then stacked the logs at the back of the property at our request (we figured we would rather sell the walnut than have it chipped).Overall, so far theres a definite A.But what was really important to me was how friendly the owners girlfriend, who seems to do a lot of the scheduling and business-side of thing, was throughout the whole process! I was having surgery the same day as the tree removal so coordinating payment could have been a real headache. But instead, she said shed stop by after the work was done and grab the check so that we didnt have to worry about someone being home.A++

Some didnt even call back or show up to give an estimate. Jamie came out just days later and took down our MASSIVE oak tree. He came when he said he would, and did what he said hed do.

The guys came out and did an awesome job of trimming 3 trees for us! They did what they said they would do and were here very quickly to do it as well as cleaning everything up as if they hadnt even been here! Would recommend them to anyone!

Good afternoon! We pride ourselves in customer service, going above and beyond for our customers. Doing phenomenal work and beating other company estimates. Not from word of mouth, but the actual written estimate. If your are going to leave a bad review please leave all the facts. We were contacted weeks ago to give an estimate and advised your husband, who said he wanted other estimates, to please get them and then call us we would beat any written quote. He said yes, then contacted us to come out because he had gotten other estimates. Our estimator agreed to a time to come out, but had an emergency that came up and we try to deal with everything timely. Your husband called and demanded that we come out within 20 minutes, so the estimator got out of the emergency tree to get to your house and be told by your husband that he didnt want to give the quotes to the estimator, and was waiting for more estimates. This was inconsiderate on your part and a complete waste of our time. Our work is top notch and no one does better. WE WILL BEAT ANY WRITTEN QUOTE. The estimator from this company literally cursed out my husband this morning after finding out we were waiting on another estimate before deciding on a company. This was after he forgot he had an appointment to come out to give us an estimate and my husband had to call to see where he was.
