Grandson has been going here since he was 2. It is clean and they do a great job. The barbers are friendly and fun to talk to. The parking is difficult, but it is downtown.

If youre looking for a tea tree oil shampoo and hot towel this aint the place. If youre looking for a great haircut at a decent price youre gonna want to make an appointment although they take walk-ins if theyre not to busy. Mike did a great job and its a wonderful atmosphere! Not your average corner neighborhood barbershop.

My past experience in this area has been vulgar language, foul movies or music playing during your cut, disrespectful to kids, women and families. But Next Level is completely different. Coming from NY, moving to Bmore and finally settling in Pennsylvania finding a barber that cuts well and doesnt recede your hairline was an arduous task. In fact after many attempts it was so daunting that I decided to be bald. Continually receiving poor recommendations I was finally pointed in the right direction...NEXT LEVEL BARBER SHOP. Unlike other barber shops where you see one or two barbers not cutting hair and you know not to go to them, you wont see that at Next Level. Each barber is top of the line and very capable of starting their own. If you want to play it cool yet really be smiling on inside because you know you never looked better. This is the spot.

Had pictures and the barber STILL didnt do it right! He had to have another barber come over to do the design to the shaved down side. Had to go home and between me and my boyfriend, clip and style more. If youre going to have apprentices, please tutor them until they know what they are doing! $26.50 + tip... I could have gone to the mall or Great Clips and gotten a better haircut. Never going back.

Willy is the BEST BARBER in town! I moved all the way from New Orleans last year. Reviews of Next Level were very good online. When I walked in for the first time, I was welcomed, place was very clean and friendly and everyone in the barbershop seemed to be having a good time. I went to this shop as a first time customer during a busy period on a busy day. I was asked if I had an appointment (which I did not), and was told that the wait may be a very long time. As I stood up to leave, the lady at the first stall told me wait! and asked all the barbers if they had any time to cut my hair. Willie Rosado answered and said he could help me out in about an hour and a half. Im glad I came back. Super nice people, even the clientele. The best haircut I have received since leaving Philadelphia. He spent over 45 minutes on my cut. Made me feel like a new man. Every one who left the place was smiling and felt good about themselves. Just moved to Pa, from Baltimore and I have been in search of a barbershop in my new surroundings. Looked up barbershops in my area and Next Level was the first that popped up. I was excited because it was exactly what I was looking for-- walked in and spoke, some spoke back and some didnt. I just charged it to them all cutting at the time, so I brushed it off. I sat and waited for roughly 35 minutes (not a bad wait time) before one of the barbers got done. He told me he had another appointment coming soon and set me up with another barber that was working on a kid when I got there. I was cool with all this until I looked at my watch and nearly an hour and 10 min had passed and that barber was still working on the kid and the barber with the appointment was sitting in his chair texting. I ran out to handle the meter for more time and just decided not to go back. Since moving to Pa trying to get things done has been unbelievable and very unpleasant. I will continue to get my haircut in Baltimore-- I cant even believe thats a better choice!
