Dont believe all the one star reviews they are angry customers that want something for nothing and dont understand how a business works. This is an honest local small business under new owner ship for the last 7 years. They do quality work at a reasonable price for the work done. Customer communication is good. And on top of it they will go up and above to keep a customer happy and coming back!
I am writing to back up my husbands negative review. Barry had one heck of a time dealing with this garage. Everything he claims is true. They put him through a 3 month nightmare and the car still has problems! To make matters worse, they got smart with me over our last phone call and claimed that they were no longer honoring the $150 warranty that we paid them for...Then Chris the owner hung up the phone on me! This is not the business or hassle that you want to put up with. Seems also that they are posting reviews on their own site. Who gives 5 stars for nicely cut grass? What a joke! We will more than likely be seeing them in court as we will be seeking quite a large refund. So far, no refund on the warranty! Good luck to all.
Phone was either disconnected/not receiving calls at the time or when it did finally go through nobodyy picked up (which is fine) but after leaving my name and number for a call back, I was never called back.
One star is actually more than I would rate this place! I agree that people need warned about this garage!!! I experienced very poor customer service. They tend to charge way too much and to tell you the truth I wouldn’t trust a thing they say. I can’t prove it, but I am sure they charge for things they say they did, but didn’t. PROCEED WITH CAUTION if you go there!!!
Wonderful place wonderful people And super reliable work.
Hello,My feeling is that I was totally ripped off when I had my oil changed at Wilmer Millers in September 2018. They invoiced me over $100, charging me $9.75 per quart for oil that their supplier quotes online to consumers for $3.99, and $12 for a $7.99 filter. I feel that this is outrageous, and I will not be back.It is really disappointing, as I have recently moved into the area and was hoping to build a relationship with a locally owned business. If I could rate zero stars, I would.By the way, the same oil change earlier this year at a local dealership cost $63, but a male relative of mine took it in, so perhaps a different fee structure was in place.
This gargae tried to rip me off saying that i needed $900 worth of repairs to my car, ball joints were bad like they said they were so i replaced them myself but they said i need two new tires when the ones on it are less than 2 years old with under 25k miles on them, i took my car to a higher end inspection station with only replacing the ball joint and it passed no problem, thius garage is horrible and i will never go back, hopefully this saves other people money and gets their license to inspect removed
I am posting to set the media straight and also the disgruntled customer whom we did far more than any other garage would have done. For one it’s hard to believe there are all these people who all of a sudden find fault in our service at the garage and only two of the names are in our customer base. And the two of course are related. We allowed you to furnish your own parts we also did not charge for the diagnosis this last time I personally tore up your bill my husband took off more than half the labor and as far as the toggle and other items they were written on a note when the car was dropped off. How dare you slander our name. We work at least 80 hrs a week because we stay for the customer. Why would we treat our customers so poorly knowing without them we are nothing. My husband has been a tech at this garage for 39 yrs and for you to draw people in that we never even dealt with what’s so ever is wrong. We lost money doing your job but it was our choice. I hope you think about what you are posting.Melissa MarkleMemberWilmer Millers Garage, LLC
Have taken another car I owned here but wont be going back again. Had a scheduled appointment yesterday to have my car looked over thoroughly to replace anything found. Came back a couple hours later to find 1) my car never went into the shop 2) my car parked elsewhere with the driver window completely down while it was raining. To make things even better, the mechanic told me the window fell down and he couldnt get it up so he cut the regulator wire. I never received a call about my window and never gave permission to cut it.I then made an appointment for today at 11 AM, and got there to see no bays were open and yet again couldnt take my scheduled appointment on time. Needless to say I wont be taking my car back here.I will say that the employees are friendly and do try to help, buy two missed appointments and cutting my window regulator was enough for me.
Id Give Zero Stars If It Were Possible!WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! You have been warned!I first took my car to them for rear-end work. The price was $1400. Within two weeks later the rear-end went out again (pinion bearings). I gave them more chances (too many chances) to redeem themselves. Each time they would leave me with high prices and always a new problem. It seemed as though they were purposely trying to sabotage my car for even more money. A few months ago I took my car to them for engine work. It took them over two months to determine that I needed another engine, but they couldnt tell me what was wrong with my original engine! They still dont know to this day! While working on the engine swap they bumped a switch to my line-locks (locks front brakes for racing) and burnt out the system. They refused to fix it! Also during the engine swap they removed my alcohol injection system. They simply cut the power lines, removed it and threw it in the trunk like it was junk! Funny thing, they never reinstalled it. Another time I hired them to install a 3 lift kit to the same car. They initially told me it would cost $275. Halfway through the job they called and told me the price was going to go up over the original price by another $100+. After it was installed it made faint noises. Now the noises are very loud and nerve wracking. The garage owner Chris said he couldnt find anything wrong. At the same time he also couldnt tell me what the noise was coning from! Keep in mind, this man boasts of having 30+ years in the automotive industry and cant even properly diagnosis problems with a car (no clue why an engine needed replacing and no idea where a noise is coming from) So Im out $300 in labor for the line-locks, injector and have a p.i.a. rear-end noise. Once the engine was finally done (well, it was never really done) and $3300+ was charged me I took it home, two and a half months later. Once I got the car back it was a complete dog. They said it had 80,000 miles on the newer engine. It ran like it had 280,000 miles. Within weeks I had to bring the car back. It took them over a week to find the problem and correct it. Early on I found that they were once again overcharging me by over $100+ for a Mass Air Flow Sensor when it should have been paid for by the warranty (as they chose to use my old sensor). Also had a massive oil leak due to them using the old original oil seals. After picking up the car my ABS, Brake and airbag lights were all on! My wife called and spoke with Chris, the owner. She tried to question him...he began to get smart with her and hung up on her abruptly. I called him back and asked why he hung up. We exchanged a few choice words and also he (Chris) cancelled any further warranty on my car. I went from a car that was racetrack ready to an old dog. Even if my line locks still worked, my car cant even turn over the rear tires (no power). My car will never be the same again. It was a car to be proud of. They (owner Chris & Missy) come off very friendly at first and later show their true colors! BEWARE!!! Very unprofessional and not at all talented in what they do...*If you do decide to go here and you get a taste of what I did please report to BBB and definitely write a negative review.*Check out the language they use towards others on their Facebook page which further proves where Im coming from... Thank you .
The grass always looks so nice. :-)
They are no longer in business.
Honest and very knowledgeable
Thanks
