The overall service if this establishment was outstanding. From the moment that I called to inquire about the service, the person who spoke to me, whom Ill assume is the owner, was polite and quite professional. Upon arriving, I was attended to almost from the moment I walked in, and as promised, he put two employees to work on it at once (tinting my windows) so that i would not have to wait the 3 hours that it would have normally taken. True to his word, my vehicle was completed in half the time as he has stated over the phone.Overall I am quite satisfied with the quality of the work and I would venture to say that the money I paid was definitely well spent based on the work and service offered to me.

Had them tent my wife’s rig for Christmas. Immediately had bubbles and scratches and one window started to peel. So called to get it fix took a month to get it in to get fixed. When they fixed it they only did the one window that was peeling didn’t fix the scratch or bubbles. For the money I paid you’d think they would do a good job but turns out nope. If i could give them zero stars I would place is garbage.

No one else in Yakima holds a candle to the amount Professionally and hard work these guys put into all that they do.So most of you might think this is just Your run-of-the-mill tinting shop. Is that they have the ability to do a full wrap on your car for any commercial business or advertising group, they also can make decals for your vehicle as well as big rig and RV decals for your bigger projects. I was very happy with the service at Jakes Tinting. I got the 2 front roll up windows of my crew cab Silverado tinted to match the factory tint on the rear windows. I felt their prices were reasonable and paid exactly what I was quoted. Everyone was friendly and I drove away a satisfied customer. Great customer service! As soon as I walked in i was greeted by Jake himself. I set up the appointment took my truck in and picked it up after work. The quality of the Tint job was great no mess inside my New truck, something i was fearing. They offer a life time warranty on the tint so the price to me was worth it. Sure you can get your windows Tinted for less but if you dont get the the warranty you are just throwing money away in my eyes. Spend ones, cry ones! Even then i was expecting to spend more and was originally only going to do the front 2 windows but when i saw the price I had to do Tint all around the truck, worth it!

Would not do business with them again. Had Jakes install tinting on several windows. When they were done, I spotted several places where there was a slight gap between the edge of the film and the window allowing a sliver of light to show through. I said I didnt like it. Jake showed me, in the fine print, they were in spec. About a month after they were done we still had the fogging that we were told may take up to a month to go away. Jake said he would send someone out. It has been 2 months, and several calls, and no-one has come by. I guess there guarantee lasts until they are out of the driveway.

Great experience! I had my two front windows tinted in my Acura MDX, and am very satisfied. The owner Jake was very good at explaining the tint % as I was unsure what % to get on my windows. He sat down and took time to make sure I was getting what I wanted. The quote was exactly what i paid and I walked out I happy customer!. I think I’m going to have them do film on our front door windows now😊

I had my window tinting done here on 2/16/15 great service, I really like the fact how the lady explain how it works and what were my options I was very satisfy with the service something I do recommend is that u get towels or plastic cover on your trunk before getting your windows tinting cause it does get wet!!! good thing I had clear plastic cover on it. The windows are fine but the wait time was ridiculous. I called and scheduled my appointment a week in advanced for today at 12pm. I was told on the phone it would take around an hour to finish. I showed up at 12 and was then told the wait time would be 2-3 hours. This frustrated me as I live in Ellensburg and would have to wait around but I accepted and they took my car into the shop. I decided to pass the time in a nearby restaurant, but after 3 hours and no call from them I walked back over. And after waiting in the lobby for someone to actually come out of the shop and greet me for several minutes I asked how long it would be till until the car was finished. 40 minutes was their answer. So I sat for another 40 minutes and they still werent done. By the time my car was ready it was 4pm and they still charged me the full amount. I am very dissatisfied with the treatment and would not recommend Jakes to anyone unless they want their time wasted.

Jakes Custom Tinting was a NIGHTMARE to deal with and I would not recommend doing business with this company, and especially the owner Jake. My experience with them was horrific, and customer service is not their strong suit. We called the company to install some tint on commercial windows and if you pick your tint by sight, with them in person, they will say that is what you are getting, but that may not be the case, as what happened to me. They are very tricky in their % and by sight doesnt mean it matches their numbers and what you sign. Be VERY CAREFUL. When it was pointed out the wrong tint was installed, they insisted that it was the right tint and wanted me to pay double to have it done correctly when I asked them to fix it. It ended in small claims and I am a very dissatisfied customer, who has never posted negative about any company. The owner was a complete jerk to deal with and I would advise you to find a different company!! I used his company because of their bid was half of what I received elsewhere, and I wish I would have dealt with anyone besides JAKES CUSTOM GLASS. 2 Thumbs down

I called ahead and set up an advance appointment as I would be driving down from Ellensburg and did not want to be without my car in yakima for an extended period of time. The staff accomodated this completely! The owner Jake is personable and friendly, even though he is running around trying to handle operational items and assist in installs. He had a technician work on my tint and even assisted in the process himself. The tint looks amazing and I am content knowing that Jakes has been around and will be around for a while if I ever need to have the tint fixed under the lifetime warranty! Overall the experience was great and fast for the quality of service provided!

These guys are very professional. The dont work out of a garage hooked up to thier mothers house and they dont sell speakers. They do what they advertise. They even did the job on a holiday. Fantastic quality and service. I watched them do the work and they had no problem aswering the questions I had. I would recommend them to anyone.
