I have been a resident of Alexander Park for more than 15 months and my entire residency has been an outstanding experience! From the Maintenance Staff (Casey and Bee)who have expeditiously and professionally handle any Work Request, the Leasing Office Staff (Meagan, Abby, and Brody) whom have handle my move-in and residency with professionalism, courtesy, and care and finally my great neighbors throughout the complex I have thoroughly enjoyed my residency here at Alexander Park!
I have only been at Alexander Park for a couple weeks now and in such a short amount of time I have been blown away by the kind and accommodating office staff, the sense of community and overall “vibes”. I have been describing it to friends and family as the perfect mix. With the courtyard pool, private clubhouse and high ceilings you get the city feel, with shops and stores so close you get convenience and with updated appliances and flooring you get the modern feel. Would highly recommend!
I dealt specifically with Abby and she was incredible! She answered every question and was super nice and personable during the entire process of deciding to live at Alexander Park. I would recommend anyone in the area looking for a new apartment to highly consider Alexander Park and ask for Abby!
I moved in a couple months ago and the ladies at the front desk immediately made it feel like home. They are so friendly and kind, just good people. The maintenance staff is also awesome. The few issues that occurred were fixed within hours. I absolutely love the apartment, and the people who live here. I’ve never had any issues with any of the other tenants. Everyone is so personable. My dog also absolutely adores living here. We take him to the front office, and he gets to see his besties Megan, Abby, and Yatzary. They love on him and give him so many treats. It’s definitely his favorite part of the day.
I haven’t moved in yet (will check in after a few months of renting), but have been working with Abby regarding paper work... and let me just say, she is GREAT! Emails me back as quickly and professionally as possible, called me within minutes of our application and was extremely welcoming at our property tour appointment. I even got to witness her being super friendly & on a first name basis with another tenant. She was super real during our tour, and especially welcoming. I appreciate your hard work, Abby! Thanks for showing us what you and your company are all about! 5/5 for you! THANK YOU x100 for going above & beyond. ❤️❤️❤️ Couldn’t of asked for a better experience.
Great experience. Simple and to the point process. Even a complete contactless option should you need it. Megan is amazing as well!
I relocated from Maryland three months ago and visited this place, i now call home twice. The first time i got to see the model, which is exact same thing as the apartment, i fell in love and called this place HOME SWEET HOME. I was welcomed by Abbey who is so friendly, quick at responding to emails and professional. The second time, i went to follow up with paperwork, Meghan was quick to help, such an amazing woman who is friendly and makes one feel at home. Meghan and Abbey both went above and beyond to make Alexander Park my home. If i had an option i will be under house arrest, because thats my safe heaven.
Do you like living somewhere where you have no parking near your apartment building or like having to park at the entrance? Well if so this is the place for you. Let me say the area is wonderful close gas stations & food everything is less than 15 minutes which I love! The outside is BEAUTIFUL but the apartments don’t particularly match the outside. They’re beautiful but once you move in you noticed how cheap this apartment truly is.. Messy paint job and cheaply put in carpet you can grab the carpets by the hair and it lifts off the ground that’s not good for a 1000$ apartment. Also the drafts in these apartments are horrible they do not keep heat at all or keep the cool air in so you have to run your AC 24/7 to be comfortable which makes the utilities sky rocket. You can feel the draft/cold air coming from outlets & from the window & doors. My friend lived here prior and dealt the same problems I should of listened but I’m new to the area and loved the 2 min drive to work. My car was broke into and trashed and I asked to see cameras to see who broke into my car I was told there are no cameras and it was practically my fault. Real professional huh? Only upside to this apartment is Megan she’s been here since I moved in(lease is almost up) and she’s AMAZING! She’s fixed every problem I’ve brought to her and is so professional and the sweetest person alive that’s just about the only person who works here who is amazing. I wish I could take her to anywhere I move lol.. alot of better options right up the street so rent at your own risk :) also can hear everything your upstairs neighbors do and when I say everything I mean everything I can hear when they shower open there doors and even when they’re intimate and I’m on the first floor. If you chose to live here get 3rd floor or don’t do it!
Ive only lived in another apartment complex before this and it was referred to as a luxury apartment complex. Alexander Park keeps the humility of not having the tittle while providing you with all the amenities and super friendly staff. The complex is well maintained, friendly and quiet neighbors, pet friendly, recycling, plows and shovels for snow in winter, and lots of perks and neighborhood activities to make you feel truly at home and interact with each other. Ive only lived here for 3 months now but it has been a more enjoyable experience than any of the previous places ive lived at. I will update my post down the line to give further account of the summer days, but so far, it would take a lot to get me to leave this home!
I love living at Alexander Park! My husband and I have lived in both a 1 BR/1 Bath and a 2 BR/2 Bath and have loved both layouts. This is our third year here! The staff is incredible, and everyone is super friendly and accommodating. We absolutely LOVE Megan. She is so sweet and always so fun to see in the office. Brian with maintenance is amazing too! Other awesome people we have met through Champion during our time here include Mackie, Amanda, and Meg!We love the super convenient location, the pool, and definitely the free coffee bar! Our maintenance requests are always addressed super quickly and we never have to worry about anything. The staff puts on events for community members, and even now with COVID there have been lots of fun gift cards and things given out for free like mini Bundt cakes, etc. Alexander Park truly feels like home to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome place to live!
Appeared to be a nice place to move into and seemed like it was the place my girlfriend and I had dreamed of. They don’t keep up on the grounds at all and poop is left everywhere and no one is held accountable. The roof was redone around fall ‘20 and there were nails left everywhere. After we contacted the office about nails everywhere we were told to lift our 130lb dog to another area so she could use the bathroom without stepping on nails. Months later and my girlfriend stepped on one of those nails while walking the dog. Frustrated and tired of promises not kept here and a huge decline in quality of this place we told them we no longer want to renew our lease 45 days before it was up they told us that we need to stay til March 1st since we didn’t give them a 60 day heads up. Which was kept from us until we notified them. It was never included in any reminder email they ever sent us. I tried to talk to them multiple times about this situation and they ignored over 15 calls and never responded to any voicemail and I even went to the office to try to talk in person and they ignored me and walked past the door as well. Highly do not recommend dealing with Champion property group in general. I hear they try to take advantage of you wherever you may move to.
I absolutely love living at Alexander Park! The staff is friendly and quick to respond to any questions or needs you may have. They really care about each resident and are extremely accommodating. The facilities are nice and always clean. They are also very pet friendly, and my dog loves seeing the staff when we stop by the office.
I’ve been at Alexander Park for a while now and must say that the quality of service has been amazing. Megan does a fantastic job! She remembers me by my name every single time I walk into the office and is excellent at answering my questions. The entire staff including maintenance is kind, jolly and courteous. It has been a wonderful experience living here so far and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for an up-to-date & safe place to live.
Was excited to live here as the person who gave us our tour was extremely nice and made it seem like it was the perfect place for me to live. However, after moving in there were many maintenance issues, the grounds of the apartment complex have not been kept/held accountable for, the communication with the employees in the office has been poor as well as very fake/rude/dismissive, etc. Example being that the roof was being repaired in the fall, I went to the office to tell them I was not comfortable walking out of my apartment especially having a dog because there were nails everywhere, I was then told to carry my dog(120lbs) to a different area because the roofing company is “supposed to clean up after”, later after roof repair was officially over I returned to the office informing them that the surrounding areas were still containing nails and roof pieces, they then told me to watch where I stepped because the roofers must’ve missed some while cleaning up, a couple months later I was walking my dog and stepped on a nail(thankfully it wasn’t my dog) and had to go get a tetanus shot. We tried contacting the office about these problems and others leaving voicemails and we do not receive returned calls. Again(and I cannot express enough), the communication here is AWFUL and they do not care. They will put on a fake smile and dismiss any problems or concerns you may have. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Alexander Park is an great place to live. Its always a positive experience speaking with the management staff. Megan is amazing very professional. The maintenance staff here is really good and quick to respond. The fitness center, pool and club area are well kept as well
I am finishing up my 2nd year with Alexander Park apartments and have had a great experience so far. The apartments are very spacious, clean and well maintained. All appliances are included, there are large walk in closets and nice balconies. The kitchen has an island that can also be used as an eating space with stools. The bathtub is very deep and you can lay almost (!!) straight. The office and maintenance staff are amazing. Megan is the office manager and she goes above and beyond to make this a fun, welcoming and comfortable place to live. My favorite part of coming home after work is taking my dog to visit Megan and Abby in the office. Maintenance calls are always completed within 1 business day and the issue is always resolved. There are resident events monthly (sometimes 2x a month) that are great. They will offer gift cards, free Jenis and pizza, doggie bags etc.The pool and gym and clean and very enjoyable. The apartment complex is only 7 min away from Polaris, Krogers, Target and there is a gas station within walking distance.
Alexander Park is a wonderful place to live. The front office staff are super friendly and helpful. They definitely make you feel like family. The apartments are super spacious with a nice open floor plan. I was really surprise how much space you get for what you pay for. I also appreciate having all the necessary amenities including a washer and dryer. They also have a really nice court yard for dogs to walk and play in.
I have had the pleasure of living at AP for almost 2 years, and it has been such an enjoyable experience. The staff is so friendly, knows you by name, is always happy to help and goes above and beyond to take of you, which I am especially grateful for with it being my first apartment and place of my own. Great location, amenities, and community. Would definitely recommend!
Everyone here is incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ve lived here for two years and just resigned my lease for another year. The apartments are beautifully designed and taken care of - the closets are huge, the ceilings are tall and the style is modern and clean! The clubhouse is also fun and welcoming and the coffee is delicious! Maintenance moments have always been swiftly solved and taken care of within a few hours and the staff is so thoughtful! They go out of their way to host special events and activities like free Jeni’s ice cream, free Donatos pizza and they give you a Cheryl’s cookie on your birthday! This is a wonderful place to live!
So far one of my favorite apartments. The utilities are a little high but not too bad! The people that work at Alexander Park are super nice and very understanding. Me and my family like the pool in the summer and we like how clean the place is too! Just over a nice place to live for any age group.
I simply marked my second lease at Alexander Park. I love this spot as a result of how wonderful it is! Extremely uncommon and extensive!! Whats more, it feels like home, not a condo. The property is well-kept up. The staff is astonishing, particularly Megan She generally makes me feel increased in value (Thanks to Amanda also for getting me an offer arrangement at my beginning). The pool and clubhouse are astounding. Also the Starbucks cafe. I profoundly prescribe Alexander Park!!
Megan in the office was phenomenal during my apartment search process. She welcomed me and my mom with open arms and made me feel at ease and very comfortable. The units are modern, spacious, and feel like home.
My wife and I just moved in to Alexander Park a couple months ago, and we have loved our stay so far! The location is amazing, with Polaris and every store you could ever need within 5 minutes! We moved into the 778 sq feet floor plan, and it is laid out very well! This size is perfect for a couple, and doesnt feel cramped at all. The front desk and maintenance are always available if you need anything, are super friendly, and very helpful! Parking can become a little crazy at night, so you may have to park farther away than you would like. Definitely check out Alexander Park iff you are looking for nice apartments, great floor plans, and amazing service!Pros:1.) Floor Plan2.) Front Desk/Maintenance3.) Location4.) Clubhouse/PoolCons:1.) It’s an apartment that you can call home plus great maintenance personnel and helpful management staffs
I relocated from CA, Megan made this move real smooth im happy to call Alexander Park my new home management is very attentive and helpful 👌 its so peaceful I love it.!!!!
We have had such a great experience living at Alexander Park. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure we are taken care of and happy. They know our names and faces and we always love seeing them. Our apartment is well kept and clean, and we always get quick responses on anything we need.
The location is perfect for being close to campus, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and friendly. They have courtyard areas for pets, and even provide bags and waste disposal! The square footage is by far the most for your money compared to other apartments in the area.
I have toured and lived in many apartments over the last several years moving states 3 times and Amanda is hands down the most genuine and helpful apartment staff I have ever encountered. If youre looking for the perfect space for yourself or family, trust that she will guide you in the right direction and be helpful every step of the way. I would recommend this apartment to anyone.
We have lived here over 2 years. Megan and the rest of the team do an amazing job taking care of any issue we have. They added numerous parking spots which makes parking a breeze. For the price the apartments are amazing and really huge. You will definitely live in luxury in these luxury apartments.
I’ve been at Alexander Park for about a month now and I’m very pleased with the property. The location is great, very convenient to Polaris and feels central to almost anywhere in the Columbus area. The room (2 bedroom 2 bath) is spacious and the common area (the clubhouse) is convenient and provides a nice place to relax with complimentary Starbucks coffee. I’ve also rented a garage, which is a little on the small side for my SUV, but now that I’m a little more adjusted to it, is not a problem. Where this apartment really shines, though, is the staff. Mackie and Megan are both incredibly helpful and have really made me feel at home here. Maintenance has also been prompt and efficient at solving the few problems I’ve had (which is a marked difference from other apartments I’ve lived in). Overall, I highly recommend this apartment if you’re looking for a nice place to live in a convenient area.
I wanted to write this review in appreciation for the top-notch service and welcoming feeling I’ve experienced at Alexander Apartments. Any questions have been promptly answered and I was kept informed during the entire process. I moved here during the Covid-19 timeframe and even with the restrictions of face-to-face interaction I have felt so welcome. The apartment is beautiful and exactly like the model I toured. Spotless and a seamless move-in process. Megan and Adrian have been awesome! Couldn’t be happier with my new home choice!
I just moved into Alexander Park and have been blown away by the service and amenities. The staff is extremely kind and helpful! They have been welcoming and thoughtful through the whole process. They even left a birthday cookie for me and I hadnt even been moved in for a week. Maintenance requests have been fast and efficient and the apartment itself is visually pleasing.. my roommate and I have been so satisfied with our choice!
From the moment I walked into the leasing office, the entire staff was so friendly and inviting and still exhibit the same attitude months later. They are quick to attend to any issues that arise and very helpful with questions or needs.I love that the apartments are very spacious and in a convenient location which is about 5 minutes to Polaris Fashion Mall, other shopping centers and restaurants. I love the community that I live in!My only complaint is the parking spaces. Thanks Megan, Mackie, Barry, & Brian D for the great service you provide!Shana - Worthington, OH
We recently moved into Alexander Park. Megan has been such an incredible help with our move. I never felt like I was asking too many questions and she always has a smile on her face. Seriously, she’s awesome! As much as we enjoyed this complex when we first moved in. I cannot recommend renting a apartment near the pool. During the months the pool is open, the noise level is ridiculous. The music can be very loud during the day, that the leasing office is playing themselves. There are grown adults hoping the gate, getting drunk and screaming late at night after the pools closing hours. Making it very hard to sleep, especially if you have to wake up early for work, you can hear everything. This has been consistent while we have lived here. I shouldn’t be dreading that the pool is back open. The whole staff have still been nothing but wonderful and friendly during our time here. However, the other residents make it less enjoyable from being loud, letting their dogs poop in the hallway of our floor, while letting it sit there for weeks and never cleaning it up. I would be cautious with the actual building you move into within the complex. One last thing, the parking sucks, be careful of your car getting hit.
The apartment quality is great. Tall walls and high ceilings really sets it apart from others. The staff is great too, warm and friendly. Maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
Current resident! love Alexander Park Apartments! The staff is amazing, and so helpful! They are always friendly! This is not just a place, its like family! Weve lived all over the world, and this is by far the best yet!
Great place to live. Staff takes very good care of community and maintenance requests. Club house and pool are very nice. Girls in the clubhouse are very helpful and personable!
This community has been wonderful to live in so far! We moved in about 6 months ago and have enjoyed every minute of it. The staff is always so helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to make the complex feel like a community. Neighbors are kind, the pool and gym are awesome and our apartment itself has been extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to make a move to the area!
I have lived here for over a year and absolutely love it! Every staff member is friendly and they go out of their way to help you. I also love the amenities like the pool and Starbucks coffee machine! The staff also coordinates events with great activities, food, and drinks. You’ll love it here too
I just moved into my one bedroom apartment in Alexander Park a week ago and so far my girlfriend and I have had the best experience. All of the neighbors are very friendly as well as the staff including the maintenance. One of the shelves was loose when we moved in and they came within 24 hours to fix it up. There hasnt been much noise which we were worried about living next to the pool. Overall we have been blown away with our experience so far!
Ive lived here for the past 6 months and I plan to NEVER move. Ive lived in a lot of apartment complexes, but this is the best! The employees are great. Im still amazed that from day one of moving in, they all knew my name!I love the family and pet friendly atmosphere and the Club House always has fun stuff happening that all tenants are welcome to participate in. They even have pizza nights!
Alexander Park is the perfect place for young professionals! Im coming up on my one-year rent-aversary and am even considering upgrading to a 2-bedroom. It is quiet, convenient, and friendly. The proximity to both Crosswoods and Polaris makes life easy and more fun. My friends love coming to visit and playing pool in the clubhouse or at the pool in the summer months.
Great staff first & foremost. Good neighborhood. Utilities are a little on the high end but other than that it’s great living. Also the maintenance staff is high quality, very responsive. The clubhouse and pool is A1. Very great. Apartments are spacious for a 2Br/2Bth. Overall a great complex & neighborhood
This place deserves the stars, doubled. First apartment. No hidden fees. They have helped me with every single detail, but not overbearing. If you have any problems at all, Megan and Amanda are your gals!I had a small issue needing assistance that through all the wreckage, seeing Megan for one day a week to work it out, helped undoubtably. This place has amazing customer service. And I can say I am looking forward to renewing my lease when the time comes! The top tier as well is aware of issues residents may have, and respectfully help you out with them when needed.Megan can also make a killer ice coffee! So ASK her if you need any assistance to get the ball rolling! ;)Thank you Alexander Park for everything you have helped me with!
Megan and staff at Alexander park apartments are one of the best staffs I have ever experienced. They were so helpful in locating my future home for me. Thanks again for all you do.
My son lived her for a year and this is a total scam. Please make sure you read the small print before you sign a lease with them, they charge you for anything and everything they can. He lived by himself and in a one bedroom so not sure how his utilities were more than in my 4 bedroom house. One charge was for outside lighting for the whole complex, Ive never heard of that being added to a tenants bill. Plus when he moved out they charged him for new carpet, said it was more than wear and tear, I saw the carpet and it was normal dirt. I also brought up the fact that during his time there on his floor there was a fire from outside light, this caused lots of soot and smoke all over outside his apt and the floor below. He walked through that everyday for the 5 months it took to get fixed. The fireman even walked in his apt to check everything with their dirty boots on but I was told we cant prove the dirt was from them. Stanley Steamer could have cleaned it up...seriously!! Just make sure you pay attention to what you are signing and take pics when you move, lots and lots of pics. You do notice how all the nice reviews are responded to but not the negative ones.Addition after response: My son tried to contact you but you told him to contact the security deposit people which he did with no results. If you are interested in working with him on the ridiculous charges you know his phone number.
I just moved in June 15. The process was facilitated thanks to the AP staff. I moved here from Youngstown to start a new job and they really worked with me to find a unit in the time frame I needed. Communication has been frequent and everyone is easy to get a hold of. The staff is warm and inviting. I’ve never had an easier experience!
The staff at the office are all super helpful and great company to chat with. The amenities are the best Ive ever experienced and Ive lived in several different complexes across the country! The apartment is clean and comfortable and if there are any issues maintenance responds same day or next day and correct it. If you want affordable AND happy living, come to Alexander :)
Moving from Cincinnati was so much easier thanks to the wonderful staff at Alexander Park! Megan and Mackie are both incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I always felt comfortable asking them questions, and they spent so much time with me throughout the move-in process. The apartment itself is beautiful, all of the interior finishes are renovated/recently updated, and I was lucky enough to have brand new carpet upon move-in! Even though I have only lived here for about a month, I can tell that AP is a great community and place to live. The staff truly cares about the happiness of the residents, and I feel lucky to call this my home.
Me and my boyfriend recently moved to Alexander park and we love it, the staff are friendly, the moving experience was easy and stress free, we had an issue with some HVAC stuff shortly after moving and they had it fixed the same day! I love Alexander park and plan to be a resident for a long time :)
I really truly love living here. There are minor complaints, like our dishwasher lid opens a bit further than normal and our sink hose power is weak, but everything else is perfect. The lawn and gardens are kept really well. There are four of us in a two bedroom apartment. We got a special when we signed our lease. We pay $300 per person and about $70 in utilities. The pool is magnificent and usually pretty calm in the weekday mornings. Weekends can be crowded, but mostly adults so its not too bad.Definitely check the place out!
I have loved my time here so far. All of the staff are kind and very helpful. They go above and beyond my expectations and plan fun events for the community. Everything is kept clean and the maintenance staff are very responsive.
We love living here! We definitely had some noisy upstairs neighbors at some point but thats normal living below someone. Since Champion took over, they are definitely hosting a ton of really fun events and wanting to make the complex a real community. The staff is so sweet and always very helpful. The pool and fitness area are always clean and ready to be used. There is a really good mix of young adults, families and older people so you get a little bit of everything here!
Before moving to Columbus, I thought it would take my husband and I a couple of weeks until we would be ready to commit to a place to live. Less than 24 hours after the first visit to Alexander Park. we were signing the papers and moving in within 2 days. Megan and Mackie patiently explained everything we need to know about the process and, literally, walked us through our new home. They are as efficient as AP itself! Great grounds, wonderful apartment, amazing facilities and the best management team who go out of their way to make sure everything runs perfectly and smoothly. I could not have asked for more from the AP complex: great pool, full-equipped 24/7 gym, free Starbucks coffee and popcorn all within a beautiful Clubhouse. Plus, I get to meet and greet the four-legged neighbors who come by to get some free treats every now and then. Perfect place to live!
Amanda showed me around the clubhouse and took me through a few units. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. Alexander park is a very nice complex. I would say the main selling point would be that utilities are metered based on individual use, as opposed to other places I looked at which required you to pay an average of everyones usage. 5 stars would recommend to a friend.
Lived here for a year, it was pretty decent, location was great and everyone at the club house was really nice. I am giving it 4 stars only because the person above me was really noisy from the day we moved in till the day we moved out with several of complaints and nothing ever happened which is pretty frustrating. Overall it was pretty nice neighborhood.
I have lived here since summer of 2016, and have had 3 different companies own this property. The current staff are by far my favorite. They are professional, efficient, and go to bat for you when needed with corporate. The complex is clean, and all work orders are taken care of within 24 hours, if not within a couple hours. We were given a survey to fill out this past December on things we want in the complex, I voted for recycling, and they implemented that a couple months ago. A company comes to your door and grabs all of your recycling for you in the morning once a week.I really couldnt ask for anything more from this complex or the awesome people living here. Its definitely a you get what you pay for kind of place. They are exceptional.
I love this place because of how beautiful it is ! Really special and spacious!!And it feels like home not an apartment. The amenities are amazing five star ! gym and Starbucks coffee Miami style pools and the management is everything here.
My sister and I moved into Alexander Park in August 2018 and we love it so much that we signed a new lease. All the staff is great.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are spacious and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend living here!
Very nice and convenient location.Megan is the most professional, sweet, kind, caring property manager i have ever met.
This is absolutely fantastic apartment to live in. And the staff are very organised and dedicated to their customer service. It’s very clean and very beautiful home. I been living here since June 2018 and I love it. Times up 👍🏼
Great area to live in and the office staff was super helpful upon my move out- no hassles at all (i had to move closer to work). The only thing i would not recommend is renting an apartment right next to the gas station (BP) or next to the garbage disposal- extremely noisy and will wake you up in the middle of the night.
My wife and I recently sold our house to move into an apartment. Part of it had to do with us having an 8 month old and not wanting to worry about all the things that come with owning a house. We found Alexander Park and we honestly could not be happier. From taking care of maintenance requests by the end of the next day to making sure we feel welcome at the public pool, they keep you in mind with everything they do. We had worries about living in a space where you shared walls with other tenants but these places are built thick and sturdy so its as quiet as when we lived in our stand alone house. Its also really awesome moving from a small house into this apartment because it feels like we finally have the space to cook meals together and still keep an eye on our daughter when shes crawling around the living room. I honestly love where we live and am surprised we waited this long to move here.
I will say that my actual apartment is beautiful HOWEVER I felt lied to about this apartment from the very beginning. They try to bribe you with Visa gift cards that you can apply to your rent to make it appear to be a cheaper experience. They gave me $1300 in gift cards which seemed to be a dream come but you have to ask yourself (if its too good to be true, IT USUALLY IS) This place is over priced to have no washer and dryer and HORRIBLE parking. My car has been HIT TWICE. No one is paying for that but ME. After work almost everyday it is nearly impossible for me to find a place to park my car AND I LIVE HERE! My electric bill has been as much as $350 on a month that i was only here two weeks! You pay an average of the entire complex. I have gotten screwed this whole year because I live by myself and have clearly been paying the big families next to me electric bill. And possibly water bill it is usually $60 and I dont even have a washer so that doest add up to me either! I have been very frustrated living here all year and I cannot wait to move out next month! The staff in the office is pretty nice but they change very often so I dont even know anyone by name anymore. I wouldnt recommend living here unless you have 2+ people I guess.. If price doesnt phase you and you want a nice pool view this is a good location... however the pool is too cold to get in all year because it isnt heated :)
Wonderful place to live! Great neighbors, staff, property. Close to everything! We love living here!!
Restaurant week for the apartment is this week! Lots of free food and get togethers. The apartment makes an effort to put on events. I was nervous things would slow down with winter but there have been two events already since the weather has gotten colder. I enjoy living here. Amenities and maintenance make it worth it.
We have lived here just over a month and we are absolutely loving it!!! such a great community to live in. always hosting such great events, you can really tell they care about their residents and the beautiful property!
Amanda is the best leasing agent I have ever had in apartment hunting. She smiled the whole time making us feel so welcomed.
When a king sized mattress that I had ordered came in to the AP office (when it shouldve gone to my front door), the team at AP didnt just turn a blind eye or tell me to figure it out myself. They took it upon themselves to lobby on my behalf to the delivery man, and when he rudely told them that he just didnt want to carry it up there, they wrote down his license number in case I wanted to file a complaint. To help with heavy packages, they normally offer a dolly or would call in a special favor from Brian (the awesome maintenance guy here) but those options werent available at the time and it was almost time for the staff to leave. So what did Amanda and Megan do? They personally helped my carry my heavy mattress to my building and up two flights of stairs all the way to my front door. They didnt ask anything in return. Have you have heard of an apartment staff that nice? Its like having the best neighbors ever!
Finding a new home, especially when youre a foreigner, is always a tricky process. We arrived in the USA on a Sunday, and started our search Monday with previous information available on Internet. Since the beginning, other places seemed to be pretty similar to each other. The size of the apartments were pretty similar, and renting conditions were pretty much the same.On Tuesday, after having my share of disappointment visiting apartments for rent, I almost had given up of visiting the units available at AP. But, boy, how glad I am that I hadnt!Megan and Mackie were extremely helpful with us from the beginning of the process until the end of it. Megan showed us a 2 bd apartment that we fell in love with and made us to reconsider all the previous bad experiences we had had until then. The unit was, per se, gorgeous, with fairly new and modern appliances, lots of space, very well maintained and on the upper floor. Right where we wanted it.Having decided to apply for it, the process could not be more straightforward and we were even lucky enough to be eligible for their special employers program (that offered discount to employees from determined companies) and the Octobers discount. Thanks to AP, now the process of adaptation to a new city has been way easier. Now we know that commuting has a lower time to the city centre than we thought and there are options to that through public transportation. The location is also home to several shopping options. In the AP apartment community we have access to a beautiful club with a gorgeous pool, a waterfall, grilling area, a 24/7 fitness center, a business and study center, and complimentary Starbucks Coffee machine. Theres enough parking space and garages for rent to.However, we can say that, definitely, what made us to apply for a place here and stay was the fact that we immediately felt at home there. Thanks, Megan and Mackie!Best wishes
Apartments are nice and spacious. The community and amenities are a great addition to living here and everyone at the front desk is very nice!
I am a south african and I have had the pleasure being a champion resident at alexander park for the past 5 months.Apart from the free starbucks and gym I just feel very welcome and the people who work on the property and in the leasing office have always been helpful and more than willing to help with anything. This is a safe and very central place to live at.Me and my family can gladly motivate anyone to live here.GO CHAMPIONS
We have lived here for 2 years. We loved preferred living. But when champion bought the property things slowly started declining. Our electric bill went from $95 in a two bed, went to a one bed it went down to $80, and when champion came in our electric bill for a one bed hasn’t dropped below $165 and has been as high as $220, we are hardly home and don’t run much of our heat or air due to being in the middle of a lower and higher level apartment. Water bill went uo as well. We began being charged for the pool and community electric. There are added on fees to our bill that no one can explain and they refuse to take off. This is just one main complaint out of many.
I’ve lived here almost two years now and it still feels great! I’ve lived in almost every neighborhood, in almost every type of dwelling. This is the first time I’ve felt like, “this is my home.” Yes it is conveniently close to everything I need. Yes, the place is kept clean and I’ve never not felt safe. And then there’s Megan and Mackie!!! I love reading the other reviews and seeing Megan and Mackie, Megan and Mackie! We ain’t lyin’ people. They’re angels and they will bend over backwards to make sure their tenants are happy. The entire staff here is awesome but these two are revered and praised by everyone for a reason. Also, if you can get a unit in the back of the place, it’s seriously quiet.
I really enjoy the monthly social activities that the staff at Alexander Park plans for residents!
Best management I have ever had the experience of dealing with. Their move out fees were very fair.
Nice apartment complex and amenities, plus fantastic customer service to residents.
Beautiful apartments, wonderful staff, great amenities!
Tremendous service, spacious apartments, great location!
This was just my visit experienceThere were women arguing about whos baby s daddy was at the pool lolAnd a preg woman being pushed aroundIm dead seriousReal expensive I felt like I was a a BBQ in Compton at the pool .No parkingReal ghetto fabulous 🤷🏻♂️
This place was nice. Very clean, updated, and the kitchen is gorgeous. BUT the parking is outrageous. If you get home after 6pm on a weeknight, you will have to illegally park. And when the sales person tells you, there are firewalls dividing the apartments dont allow this to fool you. You will hear your neighbors above, below, and side by side. Every cabinet that shuts, every bed that squeaks. For the price and what it looks like, I could handle the neighbor noises. but BEWARE, the utility companies and Preferred living owners both have the same last name, want to say brothers. The electricity rate is 3 times higher than that of AEP, and you can only use that one company. I graduated from OSU where my last year was spent in a 5 bedroom 100 year old house that you could see through the brick to the outside. My heating bill was the same there (very high) as it was when i spent a winter living in an updated 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment at alexander square. AEP= 6c/kWh...AS = 16c/kWh. the water company is also high compared to standard. My water bill doesnt even tell me how much water i used, just an arbitrary price. Both utility companies charge monthly administrative fees. The free beer they tempt you with closes at 6pm, so good luck using it if you have a job. And the keg is usually out. But tiffany is easy on the eyes. all in all, i might live there again, but id be more prepared for how much it would actualy cost with the utility prices.
Apartments are spacious and ventilation is good
Worst Experience ! Please beware of these rip off stars. They prey on customers money. By there shady electricity billing system they collect high electricity bills and they charge around 300-400$ per month as electricity bill. At the time of Move out they total rip off the customers in the name of replacement of Carpets, blinds etc. Please beware of these Rip off Monsters.
Such friendly staff!
