TECHS WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY INFORMATIVE. I FELT THEY DID A TERIFIC JOB AND WAS VERY THANKFUL
I have used them for termite coverage for a year and called yesterday to set up Pest, Tick & Mosquito coverage I was going to pay 141 a month! I explicitly asked when I would be charged for the new services and was told not until the services were performed on Thursday. Last night my account was pending the almost $300 down payment that I was going to pay. When I called to ask what was going on I was told that was wrong and it would be escalated to customer service. Meanwhile the technician called and rescheduled to next Monday. I never received a call back from customer service and today the amount is still pending and even caused other transactions to be declined. I called and was told they always hold it and it would be held until I get the services!!!! What!?!? How can you hold the money when you’re not performing the services and they’re weather pending so it can be rescheduled again!? I just don’t understand. The customer service reps were unhelpful. When I said I wanted to cancel my services then including my termite coverage they said fine, and said they would refund it. I get off the phone THEY ONLY REFUNDED HALF!!! Now I’m back on hold.... going on my 8th call in 2 days!! I used to recommend them to everyone but after this — NO WAY!!!!!
Guys that came to do the work were great doing the exclusion. Was told to call that day to be put “on the list “ for follow up. Been over a month and I have called five days in a row,to corporate,to the local Worcester branch and even Carl the original salesman and I can’t get a return phone call. I leave call back number and nothingNot responsive at all

All the Terminix technicians with whom I have dealt have been outstanding, responsible and professional. I only wish that my experience with their back office had been as good. Perhaps matters have improved since the last time I was forced to straighten out the office’s disorganization.
When we first bought our house, we had ants and mice. Terminix solved our mice problem in one visit by finding all possible entry points and closing them up. Our ant problem has also gone away completely with the quarterly treatments we get. Highly recommend!

Appreciate the recent service, although a mouse that apparently has been in the basement of the main house since the beginning of Dec (according to our tenant) was missed and needs to be taken care of.Also surprised that no one has gone into the house since September (until last Fri, 1/22), as we were told you didnt get the key from Catseye. We were there the end of July and that was the last time we know that someone came into the house to inspect as we let them in. Our tenants are not always there, and therefore would not be able to let the technician in without a key. Feel like you dropped the ball by not letting us know you were not coming inside. I know you have the key now and we hope for better service. Thank you, The Gilmores

Terminix was incapable of treating our rodent problem and has been dishonest in their dealings with me after agreeing to cancel my service and refund my money. My service was cancelled but I have yet to get a refund almost two months after being told I would.My wife and I got the exclusion service after hearing scurrying in our family room. We planned to be customers of Terminix for years and wanted a partner to protect our home since we live in a wooden area. In the months after signing our agreement in late June 2019, and paying the year in full, Terminix failed in doing anything to remedy the problem. They never caught a rodent or even officially diagnosed the problem. The scurrying in the family room got worse over time.I was very clear in describing where we were hearing the noises, yet the technician never set traps or showed any interest in the room where we actually had the problem. Traps were set in the basement and attic (which isnt attached to the family room) and they didn’t catch anything over the weeks and months they were set. Instead of changing course and trying something new the plan never changed. It got to the point where Terminix would show up for a follow-up, go into the attic for a couple minutes to check the traps (again nothing was ever caught), and then leave saying that we need to schedule another follow-up in a couple weeks and repeat this mindless and ineffective process. It was clear that the technician was not interested in doing the work to remedy the problem. We also had a couple experiences where the technician never showed up to a scheduled appointment.I lost faith in Terminix and spoke with Allan and Mark from the Worcester branch about the poor service. I was especially concerned about the fact that the problem was seemingly getting worse and the potentially health risks that could be posed to my pregnant wife. Mark agreed to cancel our service and issue us a refund when we spoke on 11/2/20. Allan called me the next day to confirm that our service would be cancelled, and we’d get a full refund, yet he wasn’t clear on the timeline. We got notice that our service was cancelled on 11/12/20. We have yet to receive a refund and multiple attempts to reach Mark and Allan for a status update were unsuccessful both through direct calls and multiple inquiries through customer service. We’re at the point now where we have to file a business complaint through the attorney general’s office.We ended up hiring a local pest removal company shortly after cutting ties with Terminix. There was an area outside in the back corner of the family room where mice could climb up and get into the soffits – Terminix never properly sealed the outside (I have pictures of what they did) or bothered to recheck even though this is where we were hearing the activity. The new company properly sealed the outside and wired traps in the soffit. Multiple mice were caught in the soffit traps over the next few days. Within a week the scurrying in the family room was completely gone. The fact that a new company was able to treat our problem so quickly speaks volumes to the completely ineffective service we got from Terminix – they didn’t live up to their end of the contract and now won’t return my calls regarding the status of my refund.
I am moving into a new house that is riddled with pest issues. Eric was truly fantastic in expertly addressing all the problems. He took the time to properly find all the areas of concern and left no question that all areas had been addressed. Really great job done on a difficult residence! I look forward to his quarterly visits and seeing the progress made.
Had a real wasp and carpenter ant problem last year but after one service from Terminix they took care of the nests and havent seen more than one wasp since.

I had previously hired another company and the problem came back. I called them yesterday and they showed up today. The exterminator Samuel came in first to take a closer look at the problem. He then inspected every single room, every little crack, under all furniture.After finding the problem,he explained the procedure and took care of the issue . Very pleased !
Terminex came out to check for ants/termites. Found both and explained how they would ride them from our home. Very professional and courteous.
I have used Terminex for the past 15 years, and this gentleman that I have now is the nicest and most knowledgeable as well as very professional. My home resides in Central/Western Mass.

Has solved my carpenter ant problem and has kept my house safe from them returning. Has removed wasp nest in past. My tech is friendly and will call before arriving, asking if I have seen any issues he can resolve. I would recommend just negotiate your price.
Larry is a wonderful technician and we are lucky to have him providing services for us. I have had some concerns about the business end of the Terminix, however with on line invoicing and payment these issues have been resolved.

Called for an appointment, person on phone was hard to understand, day of appointment no on showed during the 2 hour window. I called and after being on hold they said they couldnt contact the local office or technician. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule, I told them I would call them back. No call apologizing for wasting my time. I called a competitor instead.
David McDonald was amazingly helpful and his customer service immediately made me put my trust in him and Terminex. I cancelled all of my other inspections/estimates. He also made himself available to me and followed up on after service questions I had. A great representative of the company.
I cannot fathom how these people stay in business. They NEVER answer their phone, they dont return phone calls.It took weeks to book an intial consult. Then we scheduled an appointment, but I had to cancel the appointment a week prior, called repeatedly and left numerous messages telling them I needed to cancel, and they never returned the calls and showed up anyway! Even though I told them in the messages I could not be home. I TRIED to schedule a new appointment, again never returns phone calls. Finally in desperation called the main national number got an appointment booked for 11am on 7/20/19 and they never showed up! I called again and again to find out where are they, and they dont answer the phone. Will not be bothering to call them again. What kind of business is run like this that they dont answer the phone or check their messages or return phone calls? Most horrible customer service EVER!! I would not recommend them to anyone.
The Terminix franchise for Ridgewood, New Jersey has not responded to several requests for service paid for under contract, and when appointments were made they were not kept. Calling the main office produced no better results. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
Should be 0 stars. Called and was explained over the phone what services they would provide. They basically refilled my store bought ant bait station and put down 2 glue boards. The problem starts at the top with branch manager John Mello. If you want to waste your time and money then give Terminix a try. If you want to see about their money back guarantee look them up on the BBB website.

Guys that cover Charlton and Worcester MA are professional, friendly, have a sense of humor, always on time, and explain each step theyre doing. If I ask of them to do something they do it, and explain how it works. Christopher Bates fits the above criteria and goes above and beyond each time he comes out to service my home.
The tech (Kevin) that has been coming to our house for quite some time is personable, pro-active, and conscientious. He communicates exactly what he is doing/has done. He just plugged a spot that had opened up where our mini-split (ductless ac/heat) enters the house.
Try not to use exterminators but sometimes it is necessary in a home. The Termini process is very easy, they are reachable, and service is friendly. Great follow up and they even check back after the treatment.
If I could give a lower review I would. I spoke to Terminix on the phone yesterday and they were wonderful. Explained an issue with carpet beetles and they described my exact expectation for a treatment plan. I couldnt have been more pleased.Today John showed up to my door and led with So what do we have going on here??. Very abruptly. When I explained the issue he replied that no one gets carpet beetles any more. I explained that I absolutely had them and had areas that I believed there may be a food source and would love his help. He had ZERO interest in helping me. Barely looked at my areas of concern and didnt do any exploring on his own where you might normally see issues. I let him know that everything he was saying was contrary to all the research i have done and what other pest managemnt companies had advised. His reply was that his 30 years of experience was more valuable than any of that. He advised there was nothing he could do for me unless I wanted a basic ant treatment. I am disgusted with this experience.

I missed my appt but the specialist checked perimeter and found possible entry points which he blockedI cam home to find he left me traps to set because he obviously couldnt gain accessWith an explanation of his findings. I txted my representative to apologize and discovered she had already read the report and was understanding along with some suggestions for follow up. Impressive!!!
Always on time, always friendly and i can always expect scott. having a technician that stays with the company and comes to my property year after year, keeps him in tune with the insects specific to my home.i have regular visits which has solved my ant and wasp problem and i like the security of being able to call for help anytime in between.
I have contact terminix 3 times waited for someone to come to the house for two hours and no one showed up and no one called to cancel.My family has been a customer for more than 50 years and this is how they treat a loyal customer? Not at all happy with the service I am receiving and I was planning on adding services until now. I dont know if it is poorly trained staff at the call center but I do not feel that this is anyway to run a business. I do not feel that this company deserves one star for the way they have treated me in the quest for additional services.

Terminix was very prompt at getting someone at my home to investigate the situation. They knew right way what the problem was, and had someone treat the area right away. They also had the solution in order to prevent this from occurring again.
Gary has been my Terminix technician for years. He is always on time and does a thorough job. My carpenter ant problem has disappeared.

BEWARE: Billed for Services NOT Rendered!I can no longer recommend Terminix to anyone. Essentially I was billed for services that were not rendered and then refused a refund. In December 2017 someone came knocking around 8:00AM on a Sturday morning. Unfortunately by the time I got to the door a few minutes later they were gone. A few minutes after that I got an email asking me to rate my Teminix service. I thought this was strange because clearly no service had been performed. I called and spoke with customer service who said they would apply the money I was charged to my account as a credit for spring service. I said ok. Fast forward to June 2018... I got an email saying my service was upcoming. I logged into my account and saw that service had been performed yesterday. This is not possible as both my husband and I were home all day that day and know for a fact that no one came knocking or even pulled into our driveway. It had also been pouring buckets outside all day and I was told by Erica the customer service rep that they do not perform service during rain. After much back and forth with Terminix customer service (all very respectful and with much patience I might add) I was told today that the refund had been denied because the serviceman said he was indeed out here that day, even though I know for a fact that he was not.I can no longer recommend Terminix to anyone and based on my experience would recommend looking elsewhere. Very frustrating given the fact that this company seemed pretty reputable.Update: 6/25/2019: Still no resolution from Terminix. I never received a refund for services they said were rendered when I know for certain were not.
