Colonial has successfully solved ant and bee problems for in the past. When I recently called about wasps that had moved into an exterior light fixture and were getting into the house, they were scheduling 10 days out. When they found out I had small kids in the house, they bent over backwards to get someone out there quickly. They always do a great job, but I truly appreciate the recent customer service experience. And the wasps are gone!

The service technician who did the work on my house was excellent, informative, thorough, neat and careful. It has been several weeks since the treatment to rid my house of the carpenter bees which have plagued the property for years. I am very happy with the results and comforted with the guarantee.The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the dismissive attitude of the customer service rep who called to cancel my first appointment due to an employee call-out. I, of course understood and readily accepted the cancellation, but could not understand the logic of rescheduling my appointment at the back of the list a month later or the take it or leave it response to my question. I almost cancelled the service, but following the excellent work of the service tech, am happy that I kept the appointment and would use Colonial again.

Colonial did a great job. They were easy to contact and work with, the service technician, Ariel, was professional and personable. He answered a lot of questions for me which helped me to educate myself on the habits of ants. The service is guaranteed through the end of the year, a nice benefit, though I hope we wont need it!Another great experience! Termites dont stand a chance now that Colonial is on the job.

Colonial Pest was professional, timely, and effective. It has only been 10 days since treatment but I am confident that they addressed our carpenter ant and mouse issues. Colonial Pest sprays for rodent twice a year. Included in the service is the ability to call anytime there is an issue. During the past winter, we had a mouse in our basement ceiling. I called, they came. Great service. Even better, they guarantee their service so they didnt charge to take care of the mouse!

Our tech was super knowledgeable about the icky subject matter(mice). He did a great job sealing up the holes around the house etc.... He was very friendly, and courteous and followed closely all safety protocols. He explained each step of the process before he started anything. highly recommend!

We have used Colonial Pest Control as needed over the years. However, we recently enrolled in their bi-annual pest control service! The gentleman that came to spray for ants and other insects was on time, courteous, and explained the service fully! Great value for money!

Ive used Colonial Pest Control to address rodent issues at both my previous house and my current home. Both times the technicians were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. They also identified potential future problem areas and described how to manage those when the time comes (we were preparing to remove baseboard heating, which would create new openings large enough for rodents to get through.) And of course, importantly, the work that was done was effective! If we ever run into any other pests, Id definitely use Colonial again.

Carpenter ants have been brutal this year! In the past we have been able to tackle it ourselves, but this year nothing we did helped! A neighbor suggested that she had used Colonial and loved them! I called and they scheduled quickly. When Jim arrived, he quickly got down to it - educating my husband and I on what to look for, and what to expect from the treatment. Colonial Pest Control is the best pest service available. We have been customers of theirs for the past 7+ years. They are very experienced, well trained, highly responsive and responsible. We have the outside of our home inspected and treated semi-annually and have never had any rodent or insect issues. We have used other services in the past and none come close to Colonial with respect to quality and value.

Beyond impressed with Colonial Pest! I reached out in November 2020 after I started to find mouse droppings all over my kitchen(so gross!). In general, I am satisfied with your service. But the process of death of carpenter ants after our home being treated takes a very long time. We are worried that now only dead large winged ants appear in the house, and some of them are alive. After our home being treated passed 3 weeks.

Found this company when I first bought my house in 2019. We moved in with a mild wasp problem and they helped fix it right away! They were quick to respond and quick with service as well. The guys are always kind and go above and beyond to spray any problem areas that we notice. We have them on a semi annual contract to help keep the wasps at bay and it’s worked like a charm! No complaints at all. If you need pest control I highly recommend reaching out! They have also taken Covid restrictions very seriously and I appreciate that a lot. They always have a mask and try to limit contact as much as possible.

I have avoided an exterminator out of fear of toxins hurting my pets or wildlife on my property. But when ants where shredding the vinyl of my sunroom like a cheese grater I knew I had to act. I was relieved to see how safe it was. The processed was explained clearly as he proceeded. Amazed to see all the dead ants piling up. Quite impressed, peace of mind restored. Derek was fabulous!!!

Happy with the original service and promise to come back up to 6 months if the problem persists. Very disappointed with the fact a return appointment to address mice sightings in all apartments took a Week to Schedule. In that time the population probably increased 5x of what the problem was!

We had these guys come in two years ago and they were able to treat our kitchen, basement and exterior very quickly. No ants for two years. So this year when we started seeing ants we called them back. They scheduled us quickly and the service was fast, professional, and friendly. This is our second year, second service with Colonial Pest. I wanted to find a small hometown pest control service provider, however the specific things I wanted done werent available. Going through colonial pest was so easy, the phone rep and the gentleman who came to provide home service had amazing customer service skills and made the experience easy and hassle free.

Was very impressed with Justin who completed an initial inspection. After a surprising ant situation we did an initial OTC treatment before Colonial Pest could schedule an appt. Justin found no more evidence of ants and said treatment wouldnt be necessary, but to call again if they seemed to be coming back. When we started seeing them again, along with other critters, we called back and chose a semi-annual plan with CP. The treatment has even discouraged the carpenter bees from making a home of our house. Justin also followed up to help us determine that a big ant was not a termite!Overall, responsive, personable, and great service - weve not had critters in the house since treatment!

We had a Hornet issue. Colonial came out and sprayed the original nest. During the inspection of the site they found another nest we hadnt seen before and removed it as well. Always curtious and professional.

The exterminator came and spent maybe half an hour looking over a 4,500 square foot home. I told him that we have a problem with mice and a major problem with wasps. He told me it was too early in the season to have a problem with. wasps, left a couple of mouse traps outdoors, charged me 395 dollars and left. Four days later the master bedroom, where I sleep, was INFESTED with wasps, totally terrifying, wasps coating the stained glass window on the INSIDE, flying around, darting, diving and threatening to sting. I called Colonial Pest Control but they were closed.All in all a hefty sum for a poor service.

The technician was very professional, showed up within the 2 hours window for both the appraisal and the application. The cost for the service was also very reasonable.

I am extremely pleased to report that Colonial Pest Control Inc. gave my wife and I a stellar customer experience from the moment we called to the moment this review has been authored, and I do not expect any problems to crop up. Even if they do,. we have the assurance (in writing!) from the company that follow-ups are free.We considered going with another major company in the city but in all honesty their phone call interaction was dodgy at best. My wife was quoted for a full year service and was not given a breakdown of what that would include, or any other options, and certainly was never encouraged to know that the work would be backed up with a guarantee.I know our standards are high... Truly I do: we can be tough, because we are constantly on top of our email for work (we work in education), so we expect similar top-notch communication. The other major companies in the city did not deliver, but Colonial DID!Both on the phone and in person during the initial inspection, the representatives were patient, clear, articulate, and did NOT rush. Instead, they answered all questions, went through all treatment options, and made sure wed be happy with the service selected.We opted for a treatment now, with the understanding that (provided the service was quality) wed have another service later on in 6 months. The MS data sheets were IMMEDIATELY passed along upon request, too, which is critical given that we own three cats. We paid $195 for a full service that covered spiders, ants, ear-wigs, and much more. Wed had spider and ear-wig problems, but since last weeks application weve not seen a SINGLE critter!Colonial: thank you for your outstanding service. Its a relief to know that some companies still do business the honorable, old-fashioned way: you were more concerned with our positive experience than your profit.I will recommend you to anyone.

Colonial performed its annual service to avoid ants and other insects. They usually need to return one time to assure continuing protection, which they do cheerfully.

They sprayed outside my house. I haven’t seen any bugs. I’m not sure if they check for bugs you can’t see. I didn’t know I was supposed to make an appointment for indoor pests. I will be doing that now.

Treated house for ants including entire perimeter. They knew specifically what kind of ants as well as informed us of exactly how the treatment works. They also guarantee their work at no charge.

They came out and sprayed my summer home, and two days later, we ran into an issue that required us to call them. They were fantastic, and had someone out that very same day. He was awesome, cordial, easy to talk to and work with. I am sure it was an extra call added to his already long day, however, they made us feel as though we were their only customer. Took care of everything, and left with a smile on his face, and a big one on ours! So glad we have gone with them.

This is my second time using this company to get rid of carpenter ants in various areas of my property. The staff have always been friendly, helpful, and efficient. They tell you exactly what they plan to do, and why, and they give you a comprehensive report. He also sprayed the interior sill of my old basement, which I wasnt expecting, and they will return in the spring to spray the exterior perimeter of the house. Both were included in the original quoted price. I would definitely use them again.

My husband and I were hearing critters in the attic of our new house, so we called Colonial Pest Control. Super patient while they explained all their services to me and were very quick to set up an appointment when we were ready. Seems to have done the trick after the first visit! We have set up an annual maintenance plan with them as well to ensure our home is protected, no matter the season.

Update: This is an updated review for another pest (mice) issue. I first noticed mice activity last September, 2020. I had 2 follow up appointments since the first treatment, but I still see some mice activity. Hopefully Colonial can help get rid of them. One side note: I spoke to a person called Nate just this AM regarding a follow up and he was quite rude in his responses. First of all, he misunderstood my request and jumped to conclusion. Also, at the end, he told me to call them back to cancel the next appointment if the situation improves, so they do not waste their time. Who says that? I have never had issues with customer service with Colonial and all the people that came to treat our house were super nice and professional. However, the person I spoke to needs to learn how to be more understanding.Original review: I was waiting to write this review, as I wanted to be sure it was an accurate one. Since last year, I started to see one or two carpenter ants per day during the summer. I did not think much of it until this year, I started to see them again and got worried it will get worse. I called around and Colonial got right back to me and was able to send someone the next day. The price was very reasonable and affordable. It has been almost a month now since the treatment, and I do not see any ants. I saw a few during the first few weeks, which is normal per the person who came to treat my house. So far I am satisfied, and I am very glad I took care of this issue before it got worse. Thank you!

We have vegetable gardens around our home, so we are particular about the spraying and treatment that happens. Your service technicians have always taken the time to talk with us and adjust the treatment - materials used and spray patterns/pressure to fit our needs. And, they are very pleasant as they do this.

They are very nice. We usually have a bunch of ants coming in for a couple days after spraying as they try to escape but no others after that. Years ago we had a new batch and they came right over and sprayed again.

Very happy with the service. The tech went above and beyond to get areas that were high off the ground, around skylights, etc. Very nice guy. It was late in the season to have the work done so its hard to evaluate results (I was freaking out about stinkbugs and connifer seed bugs and didnt care) but I trust that it will be effective as well.
