I called yesterday as I had package that said it was delivered but I was not seeing it in my mailbox or in any package room. I checked with the office at my apartment complex and they had not seen it either the tracking was from eBay which they use speed pack tracking when it comes from China when I gave the number to the associate Reggie he could not locate it because it was not a USPS number. He asked me to get a better tracking number and re-contact the person who had sent the package. I was getting more and more frustrated even though it wasn’t Reggie‘s fault so I do apologize Reggie. He ultimately was unable to help me but lo and behold the package did show up today after that call. Reggie tried his best to help that is why I gave five stars.
Amazon shipped my package through USPS (and I don’t know why) it made it from Washington state to Woodridge Post Office in a day and they are listing that my package is going to take 4 more days to get to me. I have had packages go to the Downers Grove post office and I have been able to call and have them hold my package to pick up. Well Woodridge won’t answer the phone… and trying to do anything through the main Post Office is a big waste of time.
Our mail carrier works hard. With covid he said not a lot of people are coming to work so when he takes a day off theres no one to cover his shift. We didnt get our mail yesterday because he took a day off so today he delivered our mail at 8:10pm. Hes delivering 2 days worth of mail in one day so hes working insane ours to get it all done. I appreciate his hard work. As more people get vaccinated Im sure it will get better.
My package was coming from Australia and on the day it said it was out for delivery they forwarded it 13 minutes later. Then my package goes all around the east coast and west coast for 2 months only to end back up in Australia. Was contacted and told a month and a half in that it should be redirected to the correct destination at that time it was in North Carolina. It then went all the way to Los Angeles and out to Australia. I am contact the seller to get it shipped back out but this has been the biggest headache Ive had with a local post office

Krystal was very professional, patient and caring. I came in for my passport appointment with photos as well as some questions on international shipping and she was such a pleasure to speak to. I felt like she went the extra mile with her service. Knowledgable, fast, friendly and reliable service. This location is always great!
After 5 Years of visiting this Post Office, decided to give an honest review to help others. I also visit 8 locations on a weekly basis doing pickups and drop-offs.Clerks - Most are excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, and handle packages well. Really just need to avoid the lady by the door, she is loud, impatient, and handles items as if they are on fire any time there is a challenge. There is also a lady with a thick Indian accent, she handles packages with care and no reason to avoid her, just be aware that if you have advanced questions, she might be hard to understand. Pat is the most knowledgeable up front, Krystal is the most hospitable. Agata is well rounded, also will do her best to help. Please be nice to these ladies, as they do put in effort to provide good service. These are the regulars, I dont want to name the one person who seems to give most people trouble, its not personal. But I have yet to go to a Post Office that doesnt have at least one person who treats customers parcels poorly on a regular basis, at least she can be nice in voice and tone, just not to your goods.Employees - This PO does put in more effort than usual to improve the carriers who make mistakes. Our carrier actually cares about what we think of his work, very lucky to have him. The customer service super is always friendly. The PI and PM are very business on the exterior, but that is a good thing. I know others with different letter carriers working out of this PO that have been pleased as well for the most part.Inside Drop-Off. One of the quicker locations I know to clear the drop off from someone stuffing an over sized item through the feed/doors. Everything else is pretty standard.Entrance Lobby - Dusty, near windows and door, so its understandably a lower priority, may be a concern for those with hefty allergies. Many boxes missing and not stocked. You have to ask. Clerks reasoning, people take all of them as soon as they get stocked. Possible design flaw, but if you need to find certain Priority Mail boxes, you will need to ask and hope they have them at the counter.-PO Box area - Kept reasonably clean, not cluttered.-Drive Up Drop-Off - Perfect, without reinventing the wheel, this is as good as it gets. Location does an excellent job of unloading the drop-off boxes so they are rarely full.-Parking - The lot is shared with the Village and Police Station and people take up both sides of the lanes navigating for spots, so as long as youre mindful of busy times, its manageable. Also, for whatever reason, during certain hours a few cops getting off duty that fly through the parking lot, so really watch your blind spots.
The Woodridge Post Office is very busy at times. The staff does an excellent job at attending to each customers needs in a professional and courteous manner and the lobby is always kept clean.
One of the better post offices in the area. Just avoid the curly hair lady that works by the door. Ive come in every other day for the last 8 months, she has yet to place a package down gently. Everything must be tossed and thrown. The rest of the ladies take care and pay careful attention.
The employees are always friendly. The wait time seems to be much shorter than other post offices I’ve used, even when there’s a long line. Five stars.

The postal carrier keeps ruining my photos by bending the 5x7s and has destroyed my postcard. I know that they will safely fit in my mailbox without being bent.

Went into the Post Office on Tuesday, October 6 @ about 2 PM; I never received my package that the mail carrier confirmed that it was delivered. It was an Ebay purchase and the gal at the desk (who was friendly and helpful) paged Mauricio Monroy, manager, he never responded, so she gave me his email address off a business card and surprise the email does not work and I have yet to hear from him as well since I made out a formal report about this missing item. If, Mauricio Monroy has a manager I am hoping you read this about his poor follow-up with your customers. Good customer service is a MUST if you want positive reviews.Thank you,Lynn
I do a lot of business here and they are super friendly and helpful, always! Convenient parking, easy in and out, there is a drive thru dropoff for mail if you have just letters to drop off.
I love the Woodridge post office. Every single employee has been helpful and courteous. Ive never once been treated harshly or with any disrespect. I no longer live in this town but I drive out of my way to do ALL of my shipping through here. I have an Ebay store so I ship often... I hope someone actually reads these and gives all the employees at the Woodridge office a raise They are fantastic! On another note, do something about the horrid man at the Lisle post office.

Postmaster is Horrible - I have lived in the same townhouse for 6 years and the lock to my mailbox broke over a year ago. Out of nowhere I get a notice in my mailbox stating that I need to get a new lock or they will stop delivering my mail. I call and speak to the Postmaster who says the same thing. I tell him that I dont mind that it broke because it was very inconvenient to use the key. He tells me I have to have a lock. I ask him why - I never had to have a lock at a house so why do I have to have one in a townhouse? He says thats the policy to keep my mail safe. And I respond and say thats outrageous - I live in a safe neighborhood and Im choosing to not have a lock and he tells me that it is not my choice and proceeds to tell me that I must pay the post office $32 for a new lock. And I say - the lock must have been faulty because what could I have possibly done to break the lock - you can tell by observing the lock that nothing was done to alter it. He says there is nothing he can do to help me - I need to pay him the money or I will no longer get my mail delivered. I say fine - give me something in writing that explains why its mandatory to have a lock if you live in a townhouse but not a house. Nothing was ever delivered to me with any such writing and my mail continues to get delivered. 5 months go by and my mail stops without any warning. My daughter goes to the post office to get our mail and they tell her everything was Returned to Sender. Outrageous!
I have put so many packages into these collection boxes and somehow they keep “disappearing” and never get scanned in. I have no idea how this is happening unless someone who works there is taking them. I’m so sick of it. They don’t refund you for it either! BEWARE when using collection boxes here
I wish I can give this place 0 star. I honestly don’t even know how they’re in business. They ALWAYS lose my packages & they NEVER answer the phone. This place is beyond frustrating!!! Almost like they don’t care if we receive our things ON TIME OR AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER. this establishment really needs to come up with a new strategy to delivering people their items because THATS WHAT THEY GET PAID FOR!
The post office was extremely busy today but the service was remarkable! I had to ship two very heavy boxes internationally through their GXG service and even though they did not have much experience with this process, they were very helpful, patient, and thorough. Deanna made this process go smoothly and always kept a positive attitude even when there were some difficulties. Well done USPS, I am more appreciative.
I came here to submit my passport application. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and made the process smooth and easy. Im also writing this review after I had a terrible experience with the Lisle Post Office. They just really made me appreciate good and friendly service.
Postman didnt get out of truck to deliver parcel. Left card in mailbox that needed a signature. Taped signed card to door for next day. Never came back though I left it there for a week. Now I have to go pick it up. Whats the point if I have to pick something up? This is the second time this has happened!!!!!!!
0 stars. Waited in line for over an hour just to be told I could not pick up a package addressed to me because of a spelling error.
Had issue with a mislabeled/misdelivered package; post office was incredibly patient with my constant inquiries and resolved the issue for me with kindness, during what is definitely the busiest time of year for them. Greatly appreciated.
Turtle speed is faster than this place....this post office has 2 gals that take their sweet time doing anything...come in here even if you have 3 people ahead of you it will still take you 40 minutes. Never seen such slow service.
Dont go to this Post Office if you want to have your wits about you when you leave. The manager there will not listen to your concerns or help you in any way. I wanted to pay using my Samsung pay, which Ive used at Every Other Post Office Ive been to, but this establishment for some reason refuses to let me pay this way. They also want a signature on the back of your credit card which is Supposed to NOT matter if you present a VALID form of ID (Drivers License). I dont sign it because I dont want people to forge my signature if I happen to misplace my card, but of course they wouldnt listen to that. Please fix your errors and understand technology!!!!!!
Only good at picking up and dropping off mail. Everything else seems to be an impossible challenge to them. Even just asking for a price!
One of the employees noticed I was waiting in line for the self service kiosk and offered to help me separately so I wouldnt have to wait. Refreshingly good service from a post office!
I love this place because since the moment I step at the door they said hi to us!! They treat us like a person, they listened to us, I had a problem with my mail box and Maurice Monroy when all the way to my house to change the lock him self.Great customer service...Thank you for your help..All of you!!
I have an issue with the lady who delivers my packages at least once a month. Have to be on hold for long periods of time just to find out she mis delivered yet AGAIN. The streets arent even close enough to be mixed up every single month. She needs to be fired asap. This is ridiculous. Especially when its birthday presents or something important.
This post office needs a major update. It is old and ugly. Also, more staff is needed. The lines are incredibly slow, even if there are only 1 or 2 people ahead of you.

EVERY time our regular mail carrier( who is amazing.... I think his name is Cliff) goes out of town or is off, his replacement will put our flag down but NOT take our outgoing mail!!!!!!! I am TIRED OF IT!!!!!!!!! They also knocked down our mailbox in the winter and said they’d send someone out to look at it but never did and by the time I remembered to give them another call they said too much time had passed!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? And if you want to try to call to speak to someone be prepared to wait on hold for at least 20-30 mins!!!!!! I wish I could change to the Downers Grove postal office, instead of Woodridge, but I guess bc of WHERE we live in DG, we don’t have a choice. If I have even ONE more issue like this I’ll be contacting someone higher up. I don’t need my outgoing mail to be late bc their back up drivers are either lazy or just DUMB!!!!!! Today they also left my mailbox OPEN after NOT taking my mail!!!!!!!! I’m beyond angry 😡

The carriers are strange in terms of delivery, they act like they can’t deliver certain pkgs to your home and leave a receipt to be signed. Seriously?!? Some pkgs. don’t require a signature but the USPS does?? It can be left @ the residence, then when you sign they still don’t re-deliver in a timely fashion! They’ve been closed for 2 days around Veterans Day 2017, I can see 1 day, but not 2. They should’ve been open and working the day b4 Veterans Day

Staff quite unhelpful. I called to ask if I could come pick up a priority package from the post office rather than having it delivered and was immediately interrupted before I could even finish my question. Other post office locations have done this for me before, but the woman simply said, Thats not a service we offer. I said other locations had been more helpful, and she hung up on me. I was perfectly polite, didnt raise my voice, curse, or get personal, but she made absolutely zero attempt to help or even show empathy. There wasnt even an oh, Im sorry, but...The postmaster of this location has some work to do...
Everyou time I go to this post office they are quick and polite. I had to call for a package that wasnt updating and they solved where it was and what happened in a matter of minutes, I was thrilled because the 800 number I called the day before was completely unhelpful. Thank you Woodridge USPS!
Their manager is either new or has no idea what he is doing. Apparently they will forward your mail to an address that is not yours if the names are similar.
