Had an appointment on my lunch break for 12:41, came in at 12:39 and watched my stylist take another person back to cut hair, and then wait time was 50 minutes. Don’t schedule an appointment here

The quality of this place has gone down since the summer. Seems like it’s all new people who don’t know how to cut hair anymore. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Katrina was AMAZING!! She cut my hair perfectly!! She used a new method of cutting my bangs and they turned out sooo sooo cute!! I put 18 tape in extentions into my shoulder length hair and asked her to give me some blending layers and help with the line lol. Not only was it a great conversation, she did an AMAZING job cutting my natural hair and the extentions and making it look so much more natural. %100 recommend asking for Katrina when you go in! ...also the line was short, in and out in 20min, and easy to get too, right off of 94!

I told the stylist I wanted just an inch off the top and she cut way more then what I told her. Iam very unsatisfied with my hair cut. Most likely the last time cut my hair there not professional at all.

I’ve been to multiple sport clips around the metro area and The Sports Clips in Woodbury is definitely my favorite! Ryan is the stylist I always go to see and he excellent at his job, he makes the experience comfortable, enjoyable, and cuts my hair exactly how I ask. Also his product recommendations are great I buy all my hair products from him and I’m very pleased with the results! I would highly recommend visiting this store and especially Ryan but if he’s not available all the other stylist here are great!

Checked in right at 9am when store opened, said 17 minute wait, got there 15 mins after checking in it pushed my wait time back to 55 minutes, with 4 others ahead of me even though I checked in at 17 min wait time, then was told had to wait in the car because of covid, checked the app and it said I was checked in to Cottage Grove even though I checked in to Woodbury. Not worth the time better to go elsewhere with a precise time frame!

I go here for haircuts quite commonly, they have very cheap prices and very respectful and professional stylists. I am very impressed by the way they can handle everything that occurs in the store and I commonly buy their hair products!Its sad to see negative reviews on such a great place.Overall I would absolutely recommend them to any person who asked me.

Good experience with various team members cutting my hair and listening to what I want. Definitely worth putting your name in advance vs drop in to avoid the wait times.

There are about 3 stylists here who actually do a decent job, otherwise it’s a gamble whenever you go in if you do not select a certain stylist. The check-in app is completely worthless, which they know about. Hopefully that changes in the future, but hasn’t in the last 2 years. Always plan on wait as well, and if your wait time says estimated 60 minutes, plan on 120 minutes. Manager treats the employees terribly. Go to another location

Went to this location after a huge fail at the cottage grove location. Long wait showed on line and arrived when told, the timing was spot on, the stylists were all friendly and the store appeared to be appropriately staffed. Alyssa did a great job.

Great service, best time to get in is before 3pm. They give you exactly what you want with staff that is freindly, the wait area is clean. You can see where you are in the queue on their overhead board. Would recommend.

Im so disappointed, I vouched for this location to be great and I was wrong :/ My husband went in and asked for a basic haircut that would require little to no maintenance.. He specifically asked for something without the need for any hair product and wanted to keep it similar to his previous cut. He comes home looking like he walked out of jock city, tells me the stylist kept referencing nerds and seemed to be patronizing him. This cut was done fast, no time or effort truly went into this cut and Im disappointed, his line-up isnt clean and it seems very choppy all over :/ would not recommend the stylist who cut his hair

My go to place for a haircut in Woodbury. They tend to do a better job than the other places around. They are slightly more expensive but its worth the extra 3 or 4 dollars to walk out with a good cut every time.

Been here once and loved the atmosphere, and Rachael did a good job on my hair. Tired to get in 40 mins before they closed and they said they couldnt cause they had 4 ppl left and they were closing at 8, and I could come in tomorrow. Then I called roseville sports clips and they got me in 10 mins before they closed. I was disappointed with Woodbury sports clips. They should take customer to the minute they close. Idk if Ill go back there.

I have taken my son here three times, and each time his haircut is HORRIBLE!! You always hope you get a good person, but Im done with them. When we checked in, the lady was rude, not believing we had been there before, because she couldnt find his name. Then she spent more time talking to everyone else, than paying attention to what she was doing. I have never seen anyone cut hair like she did. I asked for a scissor cut because I hate clippers, nor does my son like them. So she cut his sides super short, then left the top longer. NOT what I asked for. She kept flipping the top of his hair side to side, instead of cutting it like a normal person. In the end, he looked like Eddie Munster, so I had to cut that stupid point off the front of his head when we got home. And when she took the edgers around his ears, he yelled, because she cut him. She then denied it and blamed it on him, even though you could see the blood spot on him. Im not sure why its so difficult for anyone to cut a childs hair. He sits still for them, moves his head in the direction that they ask. They just figure its a kid, who cares. Never mind I told her I did not want it super short, as he has pictures in two weeks. So once again, I have to postpone pictures because of an incredibly crappy haircut. Youd think a person would take pride in their work, but none of them give a damn. If you still choose to go here, then avoid the lady in her 40s, with dark hair and brassy blonde spots in back with her head shaved on the sides. For a place thats supposed to specialize in mens hair, they certainly arent trained for it. Probably why whenever we drive by, there are never any vehicles out front.

Got cut from Marial. Atmosphere is always fun and comfortable and I got a great cut, so never disappointed. Ryan is a new hired gun from Arkansas and ran his own store there. He is a talented one and has a keen eye for detail. Dont let the one from Wisconsin touch the computers (lmao), the gal that enjoys milk. Ive been coming to this place for years now and always just miss Kelly, but place is laid back, give great, great cuts. Experienced and welcoming staff. I waited 30 min as they were busy, but wouldnt you rather wait and have great hair than be teased by your friends for a month? Went to Target afterwards, got hit on immediately (just kidding). Were located ON Woodbury. LMAO. In son. In... They do beard trims and there is no rush as I feel strongly they care about your experience. Use the Application to check in, dont call them old timers!

Great overall staff and service, they are always very welcoming to all their guests no matter how crouded it may be. I just went in for a normal haircut today, just an overall trim and got blessed with the nicest hair sylist i have ever met. His name was Ryan and he was overall just a great guy. He gave me the best haircut i have ever recieved at (not the the others at sports clips have ever been bad because they haven’t) he was overall incredibly nice during the session and during it we talked about how whenever people are reviewing haircuts online they mostly only give it a review if it’s awful so ryan, this review is for you. I gave him a $15 tip at the end of my haircut but then didn’t know if the money would go directly to him or not so and i didn’t really feel that that was enough so i went back to my car to see if i could find anything and i found a $20 bill which i went back into the store to give him directly. I didn’t manage to get his last name but if you’re ever at sports clips in woodbury and get the chance to, ask for ryan, at the time of writing this he has very short hair and a slight accent (I think somewhat southern, idrk) also give tips to all your sylists people, i am 16 and still always give tips whenever i go somewhere.

Super long waits if you walk in, inconsiderate staff, their chit chat and indifference to folks waiting is rude. Bethany M the Manager doesnt seem to care much about walk ins.If you have 2 walk ins, dont help one right away and make the other wait 40 minutes, gives time to write a review. My boyfriend went in for a haircut today and walked out very frustrated. When he tried explaning to his hairstylist what he wanted, she cut him off and said “I’ll just make it look nice.” Instead of getting a haircut he’s proud of, he’s embarrassed because it’s now too short and nothing like he wanted it due to his stylist’s ignorance. If I could rate this place a 0, I would.

I went to the Woodbury Sport Clips after my barber of 20+ years broke a wheel and could no longer cut my hair. While terrified to get a bad haircut, my mop was out of control and I took a chance. This location can get a bit busy after school gets out (3PM) with some annoying kids, but I found a GREAT stylist there named Brittney. Brittney gets 5 stars all day long and the shop a 3 for wait time/atmosphere… averaged to a 4.

Showed up at 4:20 on a Sunday when they close at 5. Doors were locked but one of the ladies was kind enough to unlock the door to tell us they were closed. Might need to clarify that they quit taking clients at 4.

Very unprofessional. The entire staff was referring a customer that must typically go there as Pauly D, and saying that he is no longer allowed back here. They continued to gossip about that instead of giving the customers in each of their chairs a good experience by talking to them. One of the girls, who was cutting my fiancé’s hair would occasionally stop cutting so she could focus on gossiping about this “Pauly D” customer. It’s very rude and uncomfortable for customer to hear the staff trash talk other customers. Makes people feel unwelcome. I have never had bad experiences at other Sports Clips I have been to, but this is the second time we have come to this location with a bad experience as a result. We will not be back!

Will not be visiting this location any longer. The stylist I had at this location made the experience of Sports Clips very poor. Not only did she have a super rough handle on my head and hair, she seemed as if she was very inexperienced. Do they just hire anyone for this location? On a side note, she was coughing multiple times right on me and said she had a cold.

Horrible...Ive gone here twice before and this was the final straw I got up and left. The women there work incredibly slow, do more second guessing then cutting, and cant talk while cutting so they chose talking. A women cut a guys hair, washed it, then recut it. The after shampoo touch up took twelve mins! Thats as long as the hair cut should. Then with 4 people waiting and only two working...... One takes a break? You have to be kidding me! Easily the most unprofessional place in Woodbury. Ill be taking my business to the barber shop Woodbury, and if I were you I would too unless you have an hour and a half for a hair cut.

To be honest I went in thinking I was going to get another great clips haircut but this was not the case at all. I was absolutely blown away by there service they provided. I got the MVP cut (I recommend whole heartedly) which comes with a shampooing and styling and it was a blast. I couldnt tell you the last time I had a notable haircut experience until now. I know great clips reg. haircut is like 14 and theres is 17 which is completely worth the money. She actually took her time. No one wants ol susy brown cut-and-go-mediocre-i-wish-i-went-somewhere-else cut. Bottom line is there services are worth every penny. Go to Sport Clips, you wont be disappointed.
