The staff is very friendly and professional. They tell you exactly what will be done and give a cost estimate. The quality of their work is excellent! I have already recommended Autoworks to two of my neighbors and will continue to do so. I also appreciate the availability of transportation when needed.

I specifically asked (last week) if they would do an oil change by 11am if I book the 10:30am slot since my wife has to go to work which is about 40 minutes from there. They said yes. Today she reached there before 10:30 and reminded them she has work so she needs to leave no later than 11:15. They said no problem. At 11am they said it should be done soon. 11:20 they say few more seconds. 11:40 she gets the vehicle.If you cant meet your time commitment just say so and we could have come back another day rather than putting my wifes job on the line. Even at 11am you could have just said its going to take a while. She could have gone to work and come back another time.Jeopardizing my wifes job for your $20 business is shameless.

They diagnosed our faulty AC system on our Toyota as a failed blender valve located under the dash. The AC system was blowing both hot and cold out of different vents. It was a complex repair requiring removal of the entire dash and removal of the steering wheel. It took several days to get the parts and complete the installation, but it now works great!I was very impressed with the work they did.-- A very good and trustworthy shop and I like that they are located locally in Woodbury--

I went to Village to get an oil change and an overall tune-up, along with a problem I was having with my brakes. They completed the oil change quickly and for a good price for full synthetic. The last place i had my oul changed was jiffy lube. It was twice the price and they told me my transmission fluid needed to be flushed, so I decided to wait till my next oil change to see their opinion. Village said it looked great and that they wouldnt even recommend i get it flushed at this point. They saved me about $300 on that alone, plus they gave me $107 off my rotor replacements. Im glad a coworker recommended these guys to me. Ill be coming back here for oil changes instead of throwing money away at the jiffy lubes of the world.

When my daughter went to get her oil changed, they tried to convince her that she needed $693 worth of additional services such as $259 to replace 4 spark plugs, $119 to flush brakes, $189 for transmission fluid flush, etc. She is a young, new driver and doesn’t even have that many miles on the vehicle to warrant all this maintenance. After the oil change, started to drive out of parking lot, her engine light came on and the dash said “AC can’t turn on because engine is too hot” she turned around and went in. The guy who did her oil change said “oh, the dash said that the engine was running hot”. I called and asked him why did you not tell us when you handed us the keys and before we left?? No answer. They told us that it would cost $165 just to diagnose the problem?? I said we came here without an engine light on and now I have to pay $165 to diagnose why the engine light came on right after the oil change????? Beware!

I was able to make an appointment for oil/filter change within a couple days of my call, at a time convenient to me. They were very efficient and friendly and got the work done in less time than I anticipated. Kudos to VAW!

It seems like this place mostly saying “…we can’t find you in our database…” with negative reviews. I’ve mostly gone to the dealership for service, but thought I’d give this place a try because of their coupon. I would say you don’t get the whole inspection and service like at the dealership service centers. Lesson learned this time and back to dealership for service since they know the vehicle better.

I love Village Auto Works. I quit going to the Cadillac dealer and started to go to Village Auto Works exclusively. I love John the mechanic, Jeff the front office guy and Calvin the owner. Everybody is really down to earth, absolutely no pressure to replace or buy anything. They let you make the decision. They give you the facts the price and then you can mull it over. They always have specials on synthetic oil changes, and they actually remember to reset the oil percentage back to 100%.

Brakes were making noise on my Honda CRV. Village Auto inspected and said still had 50% life on them. Noise most likely due to high humidity as they noticed there was a little rust on rotors, but rotors still in very good shape. Didnt charge me for the inspection. Thats why they are my go to garage in Woodbury.

Friendly and knowledgeable but wish I knew going into the appointment that the RAV4 filter housing units can cause problems. If it was brought to my attention before the oil change took place, I wouldn’t have been as shocked to pay $50 for a replacement part. Hope this isn’t a reoccurring issue, every time I need an oil change.

Passing thru the cities pulling a camper when my truck started making a rubbing noise. Pulled off so I could google nearest auto shop and Village Auto popped up close to where i was. They said bring it in and we will take a look! They all went above and beyond the call of duty! They got in touch with the people that previously did the repairs and we got that all squared away while another guy was working on my truck and another guy who found me a place to rent a truck! That same person even drove me to pick it up and then they all helped me load my camper back up and I was on my way!! Thank you guys for helping in that very stressful moment for me! You guys are amazing!

I called Village Auto from Illinois where I live after my expecting(pregnant)daughters car slung its serpentine belt due to the A/C bearing going belly up. They went and towed her car back to their shop and assessed the problem and ordered the parts and gave her a loaner car for the night. They had her car ready to go by 10:00 the next morning and came in $600 less than the original quoted estimate. I cannot say enough good about these guys. Quick in and out. They let me bring my puppy in... They didnt come back with a list of nonsense that needs fixing. They just said your car looks great, were just getting your bill ready. So different than the chain stores that try to sell you an air filter for $80. Cheaper than most places for quicker service too!

I just changed the oil for my car. I make an appointment online and everything is on the right time. Jeff is very friendly and the synthetic oil change price is reasonable. When I finished all the work, it was raining outside and I surprised that my wiper blades were fixed. So they did the work beyond your expectation. I will be there again.

I have had Village Autowerks take care of my car issues for a few years. This time they went WAY beyond any normal expectations. My son dropped me off to pick up the car and drove away. That is when I discovered I didn’t have my credit cards and, even worse, they were with the phone at home. One of the guys drove me back to my home (20 minutes away) to get the credit cards and return to retrieve my car. All of this was done cheerfully! That is service that no one would ever expect!

Last week I found and issue with my struts and knew I couldn’t perform these repairs myself.After searching for automotive shops near me, I ran across Village auto in Woodbury. I hadn’t used them previously but the reviews seemed positive so I called them up and they said if I brought it in, they could look at it the same day and give me an idea what the problem could be.Upon entering the shop, I was greeted kindly and treated with respect. This was prior to them even looking at my car. I’m here to tell you this was a huge selling point for me. And it doesn’t stop there. After they told me the the car needed work, I had a decision to make. I would likely be without a vehicle for the remainder of the day if I left it there. They offered to provide me a rental at no additional cost until the repairs were completed or they would gladly give me a ride home.I chose the ride home. The gentleman who drive me home was respectful and our conversation was pleasant. I was told they would contact me the next day once repairs were finished.The following afternoon, I get a knock at my door. It was the gentleman who checked me in the day before. They entered my contact number incorrectly and had no way of getting ahold of me so they brought my car to me! Village Auto is a very convenient place for me to get my car serviced. Not only is it near to my home but they always seem to be able to fit me in even on short notice. I like the way they treat me when I bring my car to them. So many auto service facilities, especially the dealer, are very often brusque and condescending. These other service providers are usually more interested in selling you some expensive procedure and then making you feel guilty if you don’t agree to it. I’ve ever been treated that way at Village. Their work has been both competent and fairly priced. My wife and I plan to continue to do business with Village Auto for the foreseeable future.

These gentleman were professional and courteous as well. I brought my 2008 Cadillac in for an oil change and discovered I was leaking coolant. They gave me options without being pushy or trying to scare me into getting something done. My water pump alone cost 1200 dollars but luckily I purchased an extended warranty which covers this. They contacted the warranty company for me and took care of everything for me. I have found my new garage. Two thumbs up these guys are a class act all the way and straight up honest as well!

Love this place! I was in last minute dspsrate need for a bar replaced before I left town. They got me in first thing in the morning and fixed my jeep up for me before the time I had to leave the twin cities. They were able to provide me a ride home while they repaired repaired my vehicle. I even got a courtesy text a few days after the repair to make sure everything was good.Ill only go here for future needs.

Ive taken several cars to Village Auto, and each experience has been very good. My first was a 2008 Lexus where the Lexus dealer quoted the repair at $800. Village/European Auto discovered the actual issue which was a final charge of around $300. Weve used this shop ever since that experience.

Have stopped here now a couple times for preventative maintenance as well as engine light diagnostics.They’ve been super accommodating, very friendly and most of all, have a tremendous amount of knowledge. They have taken their time in explaining the steps involved in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing my vehicle. They’re also really up front with their costs and do everything they can to make sure they are being fair. Truly top notch!!On top of that, Frederick is an absolute pleasure to work with, and makes the entire process so much smoother. Pleased with the work & value of my alignment last week. At the same time I’m thrown off that in the middle of a pandemic, when the Governor has issued Executive Order 20-81 requiring masks by customers and employees, that you blatantly are disregarding it. You don’t have signs up and no one is wearing them. You should be following the law to keep your employees and customers safe and not ignoring it.

I had another wonderful experience with Village last week. I needed an oil change, and in the process they found one of my tires had a tear on the outside. We were going to be getting new tires before the winter anyway, but this certainly pushed up our timeline. Im so grateful they caught it. They were VERY helpful in recommending new tires and, after our own investigation, their recommendations got top-notch reviews everywhere. They were able to put the tires on the next morning before our trip up to the cabin, which was really, really great of them. Ill never take our cars anywhere else.Also, while I was in there waiting for the oil to be changed, several people stopped in with questions or concerns about their cars and I found them to give very honest advice and opinions to them. Some of them were told, no, this doesnt need to be fixed; heres what to look for if theres really a problem going on. Other people were getting a second opinion from them and were told that their first opinion was the way to go. Ive always found them to be top-notch and full of integrity. Their 5-star reviews are well-deserved!

Damaged my car while it was in the shop.

Have used them several times and been happy with service and results. This week I brought my van in for a heater/climate control problem. The tech was diagnosing and somehow popped the blend door back into place. Working fine now and all they charged me was $40 diagnosis - what a nice, honest surprise!

Great staff. Professional. Quality work. Slightly pricey. In 2 years of service I had 1 bad experience, which they corrected without much hassle. Would recommend.

I only gave it 3 stars because of price. The customer service and work were stellar.I was 95% sure the alternator needed to be replaced but was charged $152 to verify that as a diagnostic charge. Thats when I was given the remaining estimate bumping it up to just under $1k. It was about $140/hr for labor and two hours of labor (not ridiculous but more than I would pay at my local shop). The asinine amount was the $470 for the alternator itself with a 5 yr/50k mile warranty. I found one at Auto Zone with a lifetime warranty for $160. At this point Im already in $152 for them to tell me something I already knew and it would have either been a pain to move it or cost me money to take it somewhere else meaning there wouldnt have been much savings so I let them work on it.Like I said, the work was great and the customer service was awesome. I just am not interested in the price. I know there are a lot of reviews on here saying theyre very affordable but that was not my experience. I wont be using the reward card I received or referring anyone with the referral cards.

Called 6 Auto repair stores around Woodbury for an oil change (6 quarts conventional oil) and tire rotation estimate. Village Auto Works was half the price of the closest runner up. $34 after tax. Took all of 15 minutes. Nice waiting area with coffee, cable tv, comfortable sofa and recliner, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Process was a breeze from start to finish. I will absolutely come to these guys next time Im in need of repairs!

The service is great! Their customer service goes above and beyond. It is the customer service that I was raised on that my grandpa taught me. The work with you to help get your car in and worked out. They offer loaner cars which is helpful when you still need a vehicle. But what I find the most helpful is they have a shuttle option, and with two kids and car seats, it works the best for us for longer repair times. Highly recommend Village Autoworks for any service that needs to be done.

The people at Village Auto Works were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Mark got me in quickly on a Friday evening at closing. They actually diagnosed that I had NO problem and did not attempt to “find” something wrong to charge me unnecessarily, which as a woman with little to no auto knowledge I greatly appreciated. Then the mechanic actually helped me retrieve a mailbox key I had lodged inside the seat motor. The nicest mechanics I’ve ever met. I will use them for all my auto need!

2004 Chevy Duramax with cooling problems was fixed for a fair price in a timely fashion. When I need more work done Ill be going back to Village.

I just had Village Auto Works rebuild my transmission. They were all very helpful. getting my truck towed in, getting me a loaner car and most of all keeping me informed during the whole process. Best experience I have ever had at a repair shop. They answered all of my questions and went above and be on to service my truck. Just got her back the other day and she runs great. super smooth. I have found my new place to have mine and my families cars serviced. Thanks again to Rich, and everyone at Village Auto.

I would rank getting work done on my vehicle about as fun as going to the dentist. It’s not something anyone really looks forward to doing. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. The customer service from Chris the manager was stellar. He has a wonderful personality, was very welcoming and easy to talk to. He was patient with my seemingly endless questions my children had about various things and you can tell he really enjoys his job. The place is clean and neat and they have complimentary snacks (my kids liked this part as well)! I will definitely go out of my way to come here for any of my auto repair needs. I like Village Auto because their turn around times are often swift, and they catch details that have been overlooked by the Subaru dealership. Their fee estimates have been accurate and they always ask permission before starting work. My wife feels comfortable going there by herself due to a distinct lack of dude bro culture.

I take my car here for everything that needs to be done, including just for oil changes. They have a nice, clean, and comfortable lobby to sit in and they even have added discounts to lower my bill even when I didn’t know about it. Great service!

I have been looking for an independent repair shop for some time. When I received the mailer from Village Auto Works I decided to go over and talk to them and get an estimate for a mechanical repair. I am glad I did. When I walked in the door Kevin and his crew were very welcoming and friendly. After describing my problem they took the vehicle for a short road test. After the test they gave a couple of repair options and a clear explanation of each along with the cost and their guarantee.They were very sincere about wanting to get the repair done right. The repair was done quickly the same day. They even gave me a ride home and offered to pick me up.About two weeks after the repair one of the name brand parts installed gave me some concern. I stopped in to tell them about my concern. They quickly assessed the problem and replaced the part under warranty.In the future I will use Village Auto Works for my auto repair and maintenance as well as referring to friends and family. Always excellent customer service! Dependable and easy to schedule. Work is done fairly quickly and done right the first time. Sitting in the waiting room Ive been impressed with how helpful, patient and non-condescending their mechanical advice is with customers with little to no auto mechanics knowledge. I would not hesitate to send my wife here by herself. The waiting room is clean and attractive with amenities such as free beverages and free wifi. Cant recommend this place enough!

I originally gave Village a bad review because I was upset about over paying for a specific repair. After my car was fixed there were still some issues I was dealing with that I could not figure out. Brandon at Village set me up with a loaner car and put over 2 days of his time into trying to diagnose my vehicle for FREE ( along with replacing some parts for free). That level of respect and effort is something you wont find at most Auto shops.
