Good people and i forgot to tape my package and they taped it for me
It was busy in here even with 3 employees at the counter. I used the self service kiosk and was out in less than 5 mins
I continually receive the wrong mail and mark it on the envelope to return to addressee. This post office continually mails the wrong mail back to my house when its clearly written on the envelope RETURN TO SENDER. Something seriously wrong with the employees at this location.
This review is for the the three individuals (two men and a woman behind the counter.) You are awesome. Even during the hardest time of the corona virus you all three worked as heroes. I know all USPS employees are doing their best but I was witness of your fantastic job. God bless you all.
They delivered my package to the wrong house. When I complained I had not recieved they found out which house they took it too, but never would go get it! 3 weeks and no effort to fix. They owe me $64.11 and the people kept my merchandise! No follow up or anything!!
This post office is nothing but terrible. The postal clerks in the names of Valerie and Jasmine are horrible. Valerie is terrible in customer service. Its as if she brings her domestic issues to work. We asked her questions about the mail pricings and she just ignored us. We wish we could slap her in the face to correct her attitude. Jasmine is better at customer service but inefficient in her work. She would spend at least 15 minutes on one customer whereas other clerks would take care of as many as 5 customers within that time frame. We have come up to her counter three times in the past few months. Even though she was taking her sweet time, she still made mistakes in addresses and not attaching the labels to our packages. I dont know why she is still standing here. She should be doing something else somewhere.
I have a hero in this office. Her name is Valerie. She went above and beyond to help me to receive a package that was time sensitive. Shee deserve a great bonus. She is a model! I which we have more Valeries all a cross usps nationwide!Valerie, thank you so much!
If I could give it a negative star I would. This is the WORST run post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You schedule a pick up and no one shows up. They dont deliver mail daily to businesses. You try to contact them and the line is busy when they transfer you to the operator.
My packages always become missing from this post office. This happens so often that I won’t even order items if the use usps.
Whoever reads this, ask for the manager when you go into this post office and suggest someone spend some time looking at these reviews. Personally, I just had efficient service there. Walking in at 4:55, there were about 10 people in front of me. I took care of my business at the desk and was out of there in 10 minutes or less. So, I am highly satisfied with this and the other 15 visits I have done in about 6 years. My career was Supervisor of public service employees. If I was not given the chance of reviewing complaints, I would not be doing my job. I personally will ask for the Supervisor next time I go in and update this posting. Believe me, if I do not get a satisfactory response, I will go higher. KNOW THIS, there are great public servants out there. So, when you have a bad experience, let it be known. /// I just now took the time to write USPS, suggestion they have all location Supervisors be directed and enabled to address google reviews. The next day Tonya from Reddy Dr. post office called me. I shared the idea above and she agreed. She will share the idea with the Post Master.
I personally have little problem at this location because I don’t require much help from the staff. However, the majority of patrons are immigrants whose English is sometimes poor, and I observe the USPS staff often treat them dismissively and fail to offer help when it could be easily rendered. Yesterday a young man was trying to overnight a package (likely a Christmas gift for relatives), but the postal worker offered little help, never paused to be sure he was understood and generally made the experience demeaning and stressful for this young man. Other customers seemed to try to help him more than the USPS workers who are actually paid to do it. It’s a shame when the customers in line are more helpful than the people behind the counter.
If I could give a rating of zero, I would. Have lived in the same location for over 10 years a didnt have any problems until two years ago. I understand that mailmen cycle out and move on, but whats the excuse for the new guy repeatedly delivering packages to the wrong parcel box? I now get mail thats open and looks to be tampered with.Customer service at the office is no better either. I was told to fill out an investigative card for the lost package and it would be passed along to the investigator. The guy just tossed it to the side where it could easily be lost in a pile of mail.Ive gotten better customer service at Walmart on PW parkway on a Saturday, and thats saying a lot.
Small location that needs better lighting. However the customer service by Maritzio made all the difference! He added a little shine to a gloomy day. Patience with my large packages as well.
I have been here three times over the past few months. Each time the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful- no matter how crowded or close to closing time it was! I don’t understand the bad reviews.
The post office itself is ok it never gave me any major issues but my postal carrier is straighr up amazing so i have to come and leave a review!! thnajs for all you do for us guys!!
Trying to get a human - no success - can understand why President wants to close the USPS
Had missing mail, contacted customer support, I was told to go to the local post office and speak the manager, waited in line, spoke to the manager (Joseph) who handled my situation very well & professionally, got me in and out, he handled over whelming situations very well, if ever in need dont hesitate to talk to him, he can help with majority of your needs.
Good customer service, it’s busy location be patient,
I would like to thank Ms. Tonia Mitchell for her assistance today. My important mail was placed in the wrong box by the mail carrier. I went to the Woodbridge Va post office on Reddy St., Ms. Mitchell was so helpful today with getting my mail. I really appreciated all of her professionalism and kindness she displayed. Again, Thank you Ms. Mitchell!
The USPS representative here (white male, tall, thinning hair, with glasses) took my package and never sent it out. He put it close to himself and said “I’ll send it out when I find tape for the new label” two days later, the status said “label created/ awaiting item”
This post office is terrible. My latest issue is that I have several pieces of missing mail that they have yet to locate. I moved and changed my address. MOST of my mail has been forwarded as required. And yes, I changed my address at all the places that Im aware of, such as accounts etc. However, mail is being sent to us by some businesses or people that we arent aware of. Also with some financial accounts, when you change your address with them, they send you a confirmation letter to your old address. I get an email each day showing the mail going to my old address and my new address. There are several items that were sent to my old address a couple of weeks ago that were never forwarded to my new address. They also arent at my old address. I know because I still own that house and checked the mailbox. So I went to the post office and asked to speak to the postmaster. I was told he wasnt there. So I showed them the emails that showed the missing letters. They checked and cant find them. So I asked that the postmaster call me back the next day when he comes in. This is almost a week later and I still havent received a call. So I tried calling. Well you can forget that. Hold time was more than an hour. Ridiculous! Ive had other problems in the past and went there in person and asked to speak to the postmaster and he was never there. I always asked for a return call and never got one. Where exactly is the postmaster and what are they doing? They certainly arent insuring that the mail is delivered. And does anyone look at these reviews? Clearly, there is at least one employee that needs to be fired due to abusing customers. This just tells me that the management of this post office is a problem as well, since they are allowing this to continue. Not to mention, that I now have several important pieces of mail missing and they cant find them, and I cant get a call back or get through on the phone lines..
Worst service I’ve ever experienced. They don’t treat people equally. They don’t know how to look presentable in front of customer and how to deal with problems. I wasn’t treated equally when I went in. This post office is trash. They need to get new employees ASAP.
I gave the clerk the zip code to where my package needed to be sent. I paid, took the receipt and tucked it away thinking all was well with the universe. I checked the tracking on the date of delivery and they sent my package to New York, when my package needed to be sent to a city in Virginia and I live in Virginia. You sent the package to a PO Box number when I gave you the zip code for the city in VA and the zip code is also on the package itself. How does this happen? To the clerk that wasnt paying attention you cost me money. Thanks in advance! Next time please dont rush telling me or any other customer they are timing you because there is a small line in the lobby. Take your time and properly do your job. Customers trust you as the professional with expertise in what you do. Each customer deserves your undivided attention and best customer service effort. Extremely disappointed customer second package in 1 week that has been lost by this location.
I have come to this post office every day for over a year now, dropping off around 8 packages per day.Let me tell you something that team up there is amazing, they are super fast and knowledgeableTHEY HAVE NEVER LOST A PACKAGEIn my honest opinion that post office is run as efficiently as .is possible.5 stars
(I added in the photos what my package looked like when delivered which is unacceptable.)If I could give 0 stars, I would. They don’t care about customers and although they supply cardboard boxes, labels, etc. according to the manager you’re supposed to bring your own supplies. That was his “excuse.” I’ve never been to a post office where they weren’t helpful or didn’t offer a tape gun or scissors. Their excuse was “They stole them.” I have no idea who “they,” is, but it doesn’t mean you should punish the entire public for something one person did.Probably find a solution, but no... these people are WAY TOO lazy. The manager is unprofessional, sleezy, and was leaning the whole time he talked to me. He didn’t shake my hand, make very much eye contact, and basically told me excuses.I wish I would have looked at the reviews before going here and I hope they don’t do anything to my package I’m sending home since I put in a complaint and recommendations.
Not bad for a small post office. Dont over-expect.
Mail carriers from this location seem to lose my packages all the time. I will get delivery exception alerts on their tracking page saying undeliverable as addressed even though the recipients address is 100% correct. This has happened to at least 3 out of 6 packages so far this year, which is absolutely abysmal as far as delivery success rates go.Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering online from places that use USPS as the basic mailing option. Its absolutely worth it to pay a few extra dollars to make sure your package even arrives at your door. Because half of mine have not even made it that far.
Do not use this service. Packages disappear.
This USPS store does not integrate with the online USPS system. If you request online to hold your package at this location, somehow that request does not make it to this store. You need to follow up with them persistently to ensure they can track your package and hold it at their location. Their drivers only deliver to leasing offices, not to your apartment and you will never receive a slip. Their drivers also appear to work until extremely late at night at times making me wonder if they have the adequate resources for their coverage areas. The best solution for this place would be to encourage more workplace diversity and integrate with the USPS online system.
Once again, our local USPS on Reddy Drive scanned an Amazon package as DELIVERED IN MAILBOX but nope, it’s not there and Amazon said to wait 3 business days. USPS has a major integrity issue, I do wish they’d privatize this organization.
I don’t come here often, but when I have I have received top notch service. The gentleman at this facility are very patient, kind, and helpful. I think they do a great job especially with the budget cuts etc.
Atrocious customer service. The manager is uncertain what mail hold procedures the mail carriers utilize. She could not tell me where my mail is. She stated that the carriers have discretion as to whether they carry mail that is on hold with them each day. She could not get into contact with my carrier so she could not tell me where my mail was. Totally archaic, inefficient and inept system. Beyond disappointing!
Mr Hammid is my regular mailman. He is always so helpful and nice. I work from home and sometimes I have mail that goes out. He takes the extra mile to check with me. Sometimes i catch him taking an afternoon walk and he remembers my name and always says hello. This guy is refreshing and is great at what he does. Best mailman ever :-).
The worst customer service I have EVER experienced at a post office. Apart from Richard, everyone seems to have a nasty attitude and not want to be bothered (even supervisors). The lobby line is always long- not a quick trip. I personally limit my visits to this particular location as a last resort. The upside is this post office opens 30 mins sooner that other locations in the area. Overall an unpleasant experience almost every time I “run in” to drop off packages. The lack of clerks at the counter sort of reminds me of Walmart’s dilemma.
This post office is a freaking joke I had a package delivered August 31st a couple days went by and I still didn’t get the package so I went to the post office on four different occasions. The first time I went I gave James my information and he said he would give me a phone call two days passed no phone call. Made my second trip and he said oh let me call the carrier and the carrier said it’s in my parcel locker and he will put it in my locker the next day. A few days passed nothing in my mailbox so I went in a third time and there was a different carrier on my route and he called him and he checked the mailbox and parcel lockers and there was no package. Then James said he would call me the next day to talk the normal carrier I never received a phone call AGAIN. I went in a fourth time and called the carrier on my route again and he said I put in her mailbox. Well all said and done James said you need to contact the company because someone misplaced your package. It took them 3 weeks to solve the mystery from my delivery date. WTH???
Avoid this post office like the plague! I have never had such bad service. The first time I used it they lost a large box with expensive Christmas presents in it. I have never lost anything in the mail so I never thought it was important to insure it! (Keep in mind Ive sent LOTS of stuff to the Middle East!) This package was supposed to go to MN but never made it.THEN! They were supposed to overnight an envelope and the lady must have marked signature required even though I didnt request it so the post office in the town I sent it to held it instead of putting it in the post office box. Now my rent check is late. The woman who waited on me was quite rude. I could tell she was having a terrible day so I tried to be cheerful. Do yourself a favor and go to another post office. This place is NOT the place to go.
Question: Why have the self-service machine in the lobby if there are NOT any supplies (tape, priority packages, labels, etc). Ring the bell 🛎 they don’t answer. This machine is a great idea - saves customers time and eliminates long lines. Yet, not having the supplies is ridiculous and annoying.
Very rude staff. They won’t even let you explain your problem. They’re not helpful at all.
They dont deliver packages when they are supposed to. They say an attempt was made and it wasnt, this happens EVERY TIME I have a package. When they do deliver the packages a day or two after they are supposed to they always throw them at the door. I have complained to the supervisor on multiple occasions and nothing is ever done because it keeps happening. They also mis deliver my mail. We are always exchanging our mail with our neighbors, sometimes even a few streets over. Something needs to be done about this location and the rude and lazy carriers.
Ive had all kinds of problems with this post office!! Our mail is always missing and I am just about tired of this situation. Nothing is being done and its so stressing knowing I cant order anything due to it being lost ALL THE TIME. And I have to agree with everyone else if you call to complain you are wasting your time the person who answers is very rude and if they dont like your response they hang up. I had these very important package I needed for a friend wedding and go figure it went missing!!! Even though the package said it was delivered but it never arrived. The next morning I waited for mail carrier and asked her where she put my package and she claimed she had left it on the front porch. I went back home and called, than the following morning she comes to my door with my package and said oops must have not seen it. But yet she had told me from the beginning she left them on porch and now it turns out she didnt see them?? I am sick and tired of this post office they simply dont care about the customers. USPS needs to train them to smile and be more cheerful when speaking to customers always seems like theyre all in a bad mood. At least train them to SMILE.
They have a very good customer service. They all are good and Mr. Roger, is the best I would say among them. He is the best customer service giver Ive ever encountered.
I have been to many USPS locations around the US and this is by far the worst. Once I get through the line I ask for an estimate for a package so that I can see if it would be cheaper to send it priority mail. After being told it will be I was also then charged for the package I originally picked up(no signs say once you close it you buy it, I have also encountered other USPS locations that will gladly throw away the package and allow me to send priority no problem at all.). After being told I have to pay for the package I ask to see the manager and as soon as she came up to me she started yelling at me. I mean I couldnt even get a word in. Finally after explaining myself she still thought I was in the wrong(the customer is apparently not always right) and took the package out. The package btw was $1.... They are flipping out on me over 1 dollar.. They spent more than that paying the employee and manager to argue with me.. After this the manager then proceeds back out to the customers and gossips with every one of them as if they didnt hear her yelling at me already. I go to check out and the lady behind the counter then takes out money out of her pocket and pays for the package just to try to make me feel bad for all of this. I have never seen such customer service from both employees and a manager. They are not there to make money they are there to make people feel bad. This location is run by the worst ideals, when a customer is wrong go get all the other customers to turn on him.
Great peopleAlways nice and helpfulNeed more employees
Not the friendliest. I called to ask for info on passports and they couldnt give me any extra information or even acknowledge my Thank you at the end of the conversation. (Not sure what I was saying thank you for). I called another post office (Lorton) and they were very friendly AND helpful!
So a few months ago, my grandmother sent my husband a birthday card and it got returned to her saying that “this person doesn’t live at this address” or something when we clearly do. Yet the lady that used to live here still frequantlt gets mail and we send it back every time. Even when I write “return to sender, this person not at this address” the same letter will be back in our mailbox just a few days later. Then today, I go to check the mail and I got a “sorry we kissed you and couldn’t deliver your package” notice when I’ve been by my front door ALL day and no one ever knocked! They aren’t sorry they missed me, there’s no way they even TRIED to come to the front door.
Postal carrier doesnt pick up packages that have been scheduled to be picked up via the USPS website, has thrown packages at the door and has attempted to open my front door - We have security cameras at the front door and back porch. Im afraid to have anything delivered or arrange for pick-ups anymore. I live in the Misty Ridge Apartment complex.
This place is awful. I scheduled a pick up about 6 months ago of merchandise worth over $400 - it was scanned saying it was picked up and then went missing. I went in and spoke to 2 people about it, very upset. They were supposed to look into it and call me back - never did. A few weeks later when I went in to ask about it and they asked my address they said, oh its you. I wish I could charge post offices but sadly Im stuck! Ive scheduled 2 more pick ups in the past week thinking Ill give it another try and both times no one came and my pick up had been canceled. Its ridiculous that they offer a service I cant even use. The lady closest to when you walk in is super rude to people and no one there is professional. This place sucks, shut it down.
Phone is always busy 90% of the time and when you do get through every employee Ive talked to has an attitude.Carriers mark packages as delivered when it clearly hasnt been delivered.Im sure theres at least one good employee at this location but the rest should be working at McDonalds.Shut this place down, they are garbage
Location is ok with getting basic needs done, however the workers there ( especially a particular older woman on last register) are not very professional. The lady is hard to miss. She is loud and rude to customers. They ask her simple questions and she talks down on them as if they are children. There’s no need to try to embarrass customers and seek so much attention. Other then that, the service here is regularly pretty slow. A lot of the time only one register is open.
Worse Customer service except 2 people.Seems like they don’t want to be there to help customer...... Facial expression is really bad ....Never smile, never greet . I noticed only two associates are good only . All others employee rude 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
I have not received my mail for four days. I tried calling this office about this issue and all I get are quick answers with attitude. I tried calling for 16 minutes today and all I got was a busy tone each of the 30 times that I called. The main number is not helpful either. The automated service takes a long time to get through before you can speak to someone and then the wait times are always very long. I guess this is the fourth day that I do not get mail or help on finding out why I am not receiving my mail.
The telephone is constantly busy. A government building is never that busy. I have been serviced by this location now for 2 years. The mail delivery for the first 6 months to a year was great. Mail delivery was normally between 12p - 1p. Then it dropped a bit but was always delivered by 3:30p. For the last 6 months it has been getting worse and worse. Now mail delivery time is running between 7p and 7:30p. The service now absolutely sucks!
The worst costumer service! I called twice and they are super rude!
The service from this location is atrocious. The mail carriers here make a habit of doing the absolute bare minimum when delivering packages, if they deliver it at all. I have had my packages thrown at my door (I can hear it when it hits), tossed onto my neighbors porches, and literally thrown into the middle of the parking lot where I live. I have found boxes with my name on it in the middle of the parking lot on my way to taking the garbage to the corner for pickup. The mail carriers never knock or ring the doorbell. I have had to call Amazon several times in the past several weeks over lost or non-delivered packages, always when its USPS delivering it. Ive never had this issue if its shipped through UPS or FedEx. USPS will mark a package as delivered even when it isnt. Most of the time, it will be marked delivered then actually delivered the next day. I have to wait 24 hours after tracking says delivery was completed to actually see if I receive my mail. There have been several times when the package was marked as delivered, but it was never received. When this happens, I have no recourse since it shows as a completed transaction on their end. Calling this office is just plain impossible. They purposely leave the phone off the hook so no matter what time or how often you try to call this location, you get a busy dial tone. Visiting this office is also no help. The staff is completely dismissive and unhelpful. This location should just be shut down completely. Why bother having a post office when they dont deliver mail?? If I could give this place negative stars, I would.
Avoid this post office. Employee was so rude to me. I can’t believe they allow people like that to have a job. I will drive to Lorton or the other post office before I visit this unprofessional post office again. All my issues were over two stamps for graduation cards. I was made to feel like a criminal and treatment was terrible bc I wanted a nicer stamp than the common one for the cards. Employee got rude and told me I probably put something toxic in the card. Maybe she should check the name is clearly a family member and watch false accusations. Seriously Just not worth dealing with these people. I will never visit them again. Not to mention they are slow and never friendly.
Worst Post Office ever, Passport Service is NOT FOR WALK INS BE AWARE PLEASE!! The website is not accurate and the people here has not clue about anything!, customer service is one of the worst I have ever seen.
Received a priority mail today that was marked fragile and perishable. Box was crushed with a hole on the side. Cant eat it. This is the shipment I paid for???
Only because I had to give it a star. When I go into the post office the workers are very nice and helpful but the mail carriers are horrible. My particular mail carrier will mark my packages “delivery attempted” on the day that the package should arrive and then deliver them the next morning. Just lazy, lazy, lazy! It’s ridiculous that we’re getting mail and packages a day late.
Post office was ok, but customer service could be better. The lady I dealt with was pretty short with me for no reason. No wonder USPS is struggling.
I stop to find somehow the carrier thinks my mail box is vacant. I am trying to determine when they cam to make decisions for the customer. This is on top of being locked out mistakenly a few months ago. Now, have to contact all senders I am still here. Whenever you try to call, non-stop busy and when you stop by, they talk down to you. I wish we had a choice where our mail can come from.
This is the worse post office in the State. I have a PO Box and even after complaining numerous times about getting someone else’s mail in my box, it still continues. They just don’t care. When you look at the benefits postal workers get you would think they would give a damn, but they don’t. Not only do I continue to get other people’s mail, but I don’t get my expected mail!
In the process of moving..I had my mail forwarded to another location. Two weeks have gone by and i did not receive it. So i called because I was unsure of what was going on. I was very polite to the lady. However, she was quick to tell me in an ill-mannered way how I need to wait longer. Rather than blaming me for not waiting long enough, how about explaining that it takes a little over two weeks to receive mail? Its called customer service for a reason.
The worker had NO idea how to ship international. He suggested i just go to FedEx or UPS if I wanted to make sure it was delivered properly. Seriously??
I have had terrible service with this location. Mail seldom arrives before 4pm and packages never arrive on time. I tried to expedite a package three days ago and it still hasnt been delivered. I tried calling for almost an hour but all I got was a busy signal. When my husband tried to pick it up from the office, he was told that it was put on the wrong truck and thats why it wasnt delivered. So now the package is once again sitting on a truck and we still dont have it. If you have to ship through this area I recommend using FedEx instead.
There are three good workers there the rest are not helpful and very sarcastic one lady always talks about the customer as they leave her station and u can see how she stares at the customer in disgust. So unprofessional. however the new spanish guy that works there and the young girl are very nice and polite and helpful.
I would be so glad if our mail could be delivered through another office or service. For over a year we have had several lost packages saying they were delivered to us and have received other peoples packages and mail. We havent received several shipments in just the last week and when you call this office for help they are very rude and unhelpful, even though they are our local office. Its probably because theyre government workers and know they wont lose their job. I wish something would be done to make it better!
Called about a package that was marked as deliverable. Service was quick and the woman I spoke with was extremely nice. Issue was resolved in under 20 minuets.
Probably without a doubt the worst USPS location Ive ever been to. They seriously need to fire that older, sarcastic Black lady that works there whose usually stationed at the very end (closest to the far right from the customers PoV). Shes the type of person, and I kid you not... if she doesnt like you, shell embarrass you in front of everyone just to make you feel stupid. She personally did it to me. This is what bullies do. If customer service meant anything to whoever is responsible for the business flow at that location, shed be fired a LONG time ago. She may be know how to do her duties but when it comes to treating customers right... forget it. Id give no stars if I could.
Worst service ever. My package was inside this post office afer it failed to deliver to my house. I asked the lady at the counter for my package and I showed her the tracking number and she went in the back to look for it. When she came out, she said she might have found something like my package but isnt sure if thats the correct one (?1). So she said she had to call the manager to verify my package and he is going to be out of the office for a few days and he hasnt left, yet he isnt available right now (?2). The lady at the counter was unclear when she explained the instructions on retrieving my package and started getting an attitude with me when I asked to clarify. She got impatient and angry. Very unprofessional and rude behavior. Especially when that package was my expedited passport and I was leaving in 6 days.
The clerks went out of their way to assist me. Truly professional and courteous.
Poor customer service. Carriers dont know how to read the addresses to deliver the packages properly. They need to learn to fix their mistake or at least apologize
This location doesnt serve the community well at all. Should be shut down or entire staff replaced. This is the 2nd time they screwed up a package. First time they lost my package and I complained and basically nothing was done. I even opened a case at the headquarters of USPS. This time I sent out a packed for return to QVC. I checked the tracking online and it hasnt left and says its ready for pick up on my end. What? Its always packages going outbound that seem to be a problem. Now I have to waste time and money going back. Ive had mail get to my mail box opened. I dont think its the mail carriers that service the neighborhood but the staff at this location. Terrible as all heck.
Mail hold ended on 10/22/18 but not delivered. Called post office 10/23/2018 and confirmed mail was still there and would be delivered next day. Two days after that call I am still waiting for mail to be delivered.
Avoid this place at all cost. Even though its literally round the corner I will happily get in my car & drive the 5 miles to the main post office. Ive never had an issue until just recently. Since Click & Ship didnt have the parcel post option I had to physically go to the post office. Once I got there the worker informed me that they didnt do parcel post & I needed to send it Priority. I dont mind sending stuff priority but it was going to cost $10 more for me to do that. After arguing with the lady she finally rung me up for parcel post. I brushed it off & figured one bad worker wouldnt spoil the bunch. The second time I came here I had to hand my package off to the ladies out the counter since it wouldnt fit in the drop box. The lady told me the postage on my package was incorrect for the weight and I would have to repurchase a whole new label. I asked why I couldnt add additional postage & I got the we dont do that here thing again. She then tried to charge a whole pound more for the package telling me if its 12.2 pounds you have to round up to charge me for 13. What the heck?! I made her reweigh the package show it should the 12.2 pounds not 13. She continued to argue with me that the postage wasnt right and I need a whole new label because my postage was less then it should be. Obviously this woman hasnt even heard of eBay. eBay gives its sellers discounted postal rates. After trying to explain it to this woman I got so frustrated that I left for the main branch. Funny that the main branch didnt give me any of these problems. As a small business owner I dont have the time or patience to deal with this crap. No wonder the post office is going under its like going to the worst possible DMV. Never again.
The customer service here is the worst I have ever experienced. I had called the morning I was suppose to get my passport to confirm the time and was told that they dont confirm until after 10. So I showed up at 10:30 and was told my appointment was at 9;30. Well it would have been nice for someone to confirm when I had called 2 hours prior. The lady that does that passports is beyond rude. I witnessed her shut the passport door in someones face when they were trying to talk to her.
Worst experience ever. I went to pick up a package and the man that was SUPPOSED to be helping me was very rude for no reason
Without a doubt the worst insulting USPS location ive ever been to. they seriously need to fire that older black lady asap that worked very end cash register her name is Barbara. she called next customer as soon as i walked to her register she said i wasnt talking to you what does it mean you called next customer which i was the one. then i told her ok and go back again line mean while she was talking to her customs about me so rude not respecting my job these kinda people Im dealing with everyday something like that. i did not say a word to her or argue. USPS especially that location need to take a step improve customer services need read all reviews. ZERO STAR SERIOUSLYI will make sure call complain to head office.
The worse customer service ever. Their seasonal workers were never delivering the packages and inputting into their system that the items were delivered. Never left a note, never knocked on the door, never placed it in the mailbox. Its obvious that they never even attempted to deliver it . Their line is always busy and when you go inside they argue with you when you tell them the situation. This has made me stop ordering from companies that ship through usps.
U cant even get a hold of anyone cause the phone are always busy this is the worst office
For the 4th time in 3 months, this post office has mysteriously delivered packages to me yet I NEVER receive them. Forget trying to call the number that is listed for this location- its ALWAYS a busy tone. I have also given up calling USPS altogether because no resolution comes from their inquiries. The driver that delivers mail here constantly puts my neighbors mail in my box. I am hoping that is the case with this last delivered package as I had a package addressed to my neighbor left in my box today. I am fed up.
I have never had a problem when I have gone inside the post office. The employees there are generally helpful and friendly. I have mailed and received many packages with few problems (with occasional delays). My only complaint would be that in our neighborhood, we get delivery of neighbors mail quite a bit.
Horrible! Called to track a package that was marked as delivered on yesterday and Cory decided to just place me on hold and not return to the phone. if they’d stop stealing packages, the phones wouldn’t be ringing off the hook.
Absolutely horrendous service- The delivery driver left a note saying no one was available to sign for a package when I was waiting inside for the package- when i noticed the note I called the office and they were supposed to redeliver the package that day- no one did. Then the next day they leave a key to open the parcel drop box and there is NO PACKAGE- again, i call the office and they say they will have the driver return only to not return. Worthless employees and an absolute WASTE OF TAX DOLLARS!THE STAFF ARE INCOMPETENT, LIARS, & THIS BRANCH NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY DISMANTLED!!!! IF I COULD GIVE IT A -5 stars I would!
This is the worst post office I’ve ever had my packages sent to or out of. I had not changed my address and have been living at the same address for 2 years and they lost all 5 of my packages and till this minute will not tell me where they are. And when I asked the status of it it said undeliverable and they tried convincing me I had moved when I have never ever moved. How can your system tell the resident hey moved when they in fact did not and yet u refuse to track the package ??!! And the supervisor is even worst. Very lazy and jut a clueless person. Very incompetent team of staff, all very clueless, and all with such attitudes. I am changing my packages to be sent to a different post office in fairfax county because you guys are ridiculous. How sad I have to travel to a different county to get my mail.
Theyre liars and just plain rude and disrespectful ! They said they tried to deliver my package but no one answered the door, which is a lie because Ive been in the house all day waiting on my package. They said they left a note which is also a lie. I called, and on the 7th call someone picked up and was very curt. They didnt even deliver mail on my side today. Avoid this place. Their service is terrible.
An awesome Passport services. The clerk was knowledgeable and helpful. thanks
I CONSTANTLY get others mail, and always have issues receiving my own mail. I call USPS at least once per week regarding my mail.
The line is always extremely long. However, I usually use the kiosk on the side and get out faster.
The staff is pathetic. Simply stating that the staff is unprofessional just doesnt do it justice.
Worst, most unprofessional post office ever. Good luck calling them EVER. They intentionally tie the phone lines up so they wont have to take your call. Phone stays busy for hours straight (I actually tried it). Sucks that youre subject to the post office in which your residence is located.
This is possibly the worst Post Office I have ever experienced in life. Not once but numerous times they have failed to deliver items or delivered to the wrong address.
Last month i ordered an item online and the mail man delivered my package to the wrong address luckily just few houses away. my neighbor was nice enough to return it to me. He also reported that his packages have been delivered to wrong address numerous times.
These people dont care as long as they make up their daily 8 hours schedule. Brian who answered the phone put me on hold and never came back to the phone twice. I tried this with my brother, sister, etc he says the same thing to everyone who calls
I spoke to a Hispanic man about passports. He was very helpful
They are liars they send messages for packages that are not delivered.
Bruh i need them to be open TODAY on a sunday LMFAO
Honeslty, I havent even been to the location yet, but I have a passport appointment on the 1st of April and Im DREADING it. They never answer the phone, thats of course if the line isnt busy for 3 hours of calling first. When I did finally get someone, she made my appointment, then when I asked her what type of payment I can bring, she put me on hold for 10 mins! 10! And then I call back and of course its busy. Im DREAING going to this location, but its my only option for now... UGH!
Wow. Never in my life...have I honestly ever had any trouble w/any business, mail service for that matter. The lady, I will update w/her name shortly...would not accept my credit card. Claiming that it needs a signature-I wrote See id on the back of my card, and she did not ask for my ID. I gave it to her and she still would not accept it, saying the law has been like that for 10 years (Yet, no one in my life has given me problems once my ID was given)I gave her my debit card, she said if the signature and see id message was on the card, shed accept it. The signature on my debit card was faded. Yet she only responds I could try this but does not bother trying to use it.I try one debit card, it gets declined. She announces it...(it has 100 dollars in it so what gives?) she then says Idk if it will work, the system doesnt usually do well w/debit I suggest my other debit card. It works, she then responds Oh, thats a keeper, you should keep thatIm ignoring these responses. This was the most unpleasant transaction Ive ever had with anyone. Im not even one to report, review a company negatively--its really a disappointment. Especially when I come home to find out my mother has also had a bad experience with this same woman and reported her last year after telling her what went down for me today. Why am I not surprised?
I have asked for help to pick up the box from the floor onto the counter so i could pay amd it was heavy I was told the guys didnt want to help. So I ended up doing it myself even tho I have back problems. I have never encounter this kind of service in the past. It is sad I even offered to pay for their help and still no help. It was my first time in that post office and I will never go back again.
