I had a very pleasant experience with Potomac Family Dental! I have been jumping between different dentists over the past few years, but the staff and dentist here are very nice and superb! I think I will be coming back here for a while. I had Tammy as my cleaner and she was wonderful, very kind and gentle as she worked on my teeth. She let me know what was happening so I wouldnt feel anxious and she made sure I was very comfortable for the whole visit, one of the best cleaners Ive had!

Great customer service, the staff I encountered during my visit were very well trained. I’m normally shy to visit the dentist for regular cleaning, but Tammy, the hygienist reassured me that regular check ups were important for your overall health. Thank you Tammy for all the information you provided! Second, the doctor was very quick, precise, and accurate with the information he provided to better improve my cleaning habits, and mentioned seeing other professionals about my current conditions, thank you doctor! Lastly, Judy was amazing from start to finish. From when I walked into the office to get checked in, and from checking me out, scheduling my appointment, and proving that excellent customer service is key in any work environment. Potomac Family Dentistry is a wonderful clinic and experience. The doctors and technicians are all kind and skilled, and they really do their best to make your appointment as enjoyable as it can be. I just left the practice after starting a crown procedure and I had a bit of anxiety, but Natalie and Dr. Ahmed both assured me that it would be fine compared to my last experience. It was just that from numbing to leaving a pleasure to have work done and they have a new in house tool for making the crown! Kudos to the staff again!

I’ve been going to Potomac Family Dental since 2017 and have always been greeted as if I were family. The front staff is always so nice. Judy always remembers my son and I and Erika was very pleasant towards my son during our visit. The dental assistants are always so great! At my most recent visit Tammy did my cleaning and did an awesome job (felt like she gave me new teeth LOL)! Natalie cleaned my sons teeth and also did a great job and was very nice and patient with him. I usually always see Dr. Khattab because my first experience was great with him and my last 2 visits I saw Dr Uthman and he was also very wonderful and patient with us. The office staff is overall friendly, fun and very professional at all times. The office is very clean and modern!!

I have been coming to see Dr. Uthman now for over three years for my dental needs and I have always been greeted with friendly and professional staff. Today was no exception. I had to have a dental procedure done and I was really nervous. Dr. Uthman was so kind and made sure he took him time. Not only did he make sure I understood what was going on every step of the way, but he made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. If i could give this dentist office 10 stars i would. I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me in the last 48 hours. Judy and Erika first informed me that they didn’t have anything until 4/6/2021 i explained how much pain i was in they som how managed to make an opening for me. Literally 5 minutes after i hung up Judy called me back and said “Mr.Hassan i know how much pain your in and someone just canceled would you like to come now?”I will forever be loyal to this dentist office as long as i live in the area. Dr. Uthman Was so kind and professional. i have a fear of dentists lol. But by far the best visit i ever had at the district EVER. I love this place! Everyone on staff that I’ve encountered has exemplary customer service! I started out just bringing my children but, after a couple of years, I decided to make them my dentist as well. Dr. Uthman is so kind and gentle! The assistants are knowledgeable as are the office staff. Never have I experienced such a well put together office. The atmosphere is even “light” meaning the staff works well together and that can make the biggest difference. Potomac Family Dental I have recommended and will continue to do so.

Dr Uthman is one of the most caring, altruistic, honest, genuine and professional dentists that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Not only has he given my daughter and I top notched dental care and treatment he treated my mom so very special. She was having pain that was affecting her ability to eat. My daughter and I began orthodontic care at Potomac Family Dental in 2018. Dr. Uthman provided excellent guidance throughout the process carefully explaining expectations and possible changes to treatment initially planned. We werent caught by any surprises during our Invisalign treatment.The staff has always been extremely professional, friendly, and proactive. The receptionists Brenda and Judy have always worked with and tried to accommodate me when I needed to make last minute appointment changes. They were even proactive in catching and correcting over payments made by my insurance company.My appreciation for Dr. Uthman and the staff goes beyond the dental care I have received at the clinic. Dr. Uthman has become a mentor for my daughter who also is in college and working to become a dentist. They ladies in the clinic works with her to build on her Spanish (she had several years of H.S. Today was my family’s first visit to Potomac Family Dental and we absolutely loved it! They were able to schedule my children on the same day, which makes it very convenient. They provide dental services as well as orthodontist services. Everyone was super friendly the dental assistants, receptionist and dentist. We will definitely be coming back and referring others.

I’ve always been very hesitant about going to dentist offices, and have a habit of changing providers cause I was never comfortable. After my husband had moved to Woodbridge when we got married, he started going to Potomac Family Dental after we had done some research on good providers in the area. I have been going elsewhere and was looking for a new provider myself. He said he loved it so I started going too. Choosing this practice was definitely the best decision. The girls at the front desk have exceptional customer service and made me feel like I just walked into my best friends house - as if we were family. The dental assistants and hygienist are extremely nice and compassionate. I saw Dr. Khattab who was gentle during the cleaning and created a treatment plan with me that made me feel super comfortable with going forward with his office. He was kind and also respectful of my time. He didn’t make me feel rushed or feel like just another paper for his file. Definitely a great practice that my husband and I will continue coming to.

Dr. Ahmed Uthman, DDS is absolutely amazing!!!!!!! Two and a half weeks before our PCS date his team accommodated me with an appointment for a full day of dental work. Literally hours before our family departure he was still able to see me. Also great with kids. Amazing team. Highly recommended.

Really bad experience they offer to everybody Invisalign even if you don’t really need them I Paid more then $2,000 and i don’t have my teeth right they take my impressions wrong and the Invisalign never do anything the dentist always complain was my fold because I wasn’t using the braces at the time suggested, how was I going to be paying something so expensive and not using them? They send new impressions and I was waiting and waiting for the new Invisalign and they never call me, I call them to ask about the new ones and they said we receive them but I was very disappointed for all the time with no braces and waiting and they was charging to my credit card even the I wasn’t receiving the service after I recibe an statement for the insurance that he was charging more then 6,000$ too so it this point I am with no Invisalign and no money I waisted my money for nothing more then 2,000$ for nothing I don’t have any filling nothing only a Cleaning but I paid separate and the insurance cover the extra. Hope anyone doesn’t have this experience:(

Unprofessional, poor customer service, I have been waiting for 1 hour to make an appointment for my daughter, the front desk lady was so rude acting like she owns the place, I don’t know how someone can have workers like that one.

Very nice place! We have been seeing Dr. Uthman and he is great. Dr. Uthman is compassionate and takes a personal interest in your dental health. The staff are great too and they try to work around your schedule. When you go there, its nice and clean and its not overcrowded. Wait time is short. Though, I may move out of the area at the end of the year, I will be making the drive to Potomac Family Dental for dental service regardless. Their service and patience is that good!

Dr. Khattab is a very well experienced and detailed dentist, his dental work always exceeds my expectations. He did my Invisalign and I couldnt find a better dentist to do such outstanding job. He is truly amazing and he ensures you obtain outstanding results!! I hardly leave any online feedback for anything, but Dr. Khattab and his clinic deserve this review!!
