After noticing a wasps nest underneath my windowsill, I reached out to Terminix (via Angies List) to request a quote. Someone from Terminix reached out within a couple hours to schedule the onsite quote the following day. After inspecting the nest, a technician provided me with a reasonable quote and was able to schedule someone to remove the nest (and another abandoned one) a couple days later. I was very happy with my experiences! Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. Most importantly, the wasp nest was dealt with professionally.

I am a long time customer who recently had an issue with bees dwelling in the side of my house. They made an appointment for a few days from my call, then called notifying they could come even earlier. They checked out the problem, discussed in detail the management plan, and sprayed the nest. I was given a card to call if I had any concerns. When there was continued activity they came immediately to examine, then further spray the nest. I have since called them for additional advice which they promptly provided.Excellent prompt service.

My Terminix inspector was VERY knowledgeable. And gave helpful tips on work that needed to be done. Ranging from extremely important to get it done later. He knew what he was doing. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I have been a Terminix customer for termite control for more than 20 years. Until 2016 I would rate the service we received good to excellent, but since then I would rate it extremely poor. The problems range from no inspections over 12 months, not upgrading to the new bait system but listing it as done, missed appointments with no notice and not inspecting the bait stations correctly when they do show up. Branch management has been unresponsive. If you do decide to go with Terminix I recommend familiarizing yourself with the bait station’s manufacturer’s inspection procedure and insisting to be present for inspections to observe them.

The whole process from setting up the appointment to the treatment was fast and easy. Our technician was very polite and knowledgeable. He walked me through everything. I know he said it could take a few weeks for the ants to die off but it’s been 2 days and I haven’t seen any. This has been a major problem every summer so it’s a relief. Thanks Derek!

We had a problem with ticks. We called different exterminators and Terminix set up a convenient appointment. They came out explained the process and cost. Sounded good and they did the first treatment then. Told us to call with any questions or problems. Everything was good. Pleasantly surprised.

As a very long time client of Terminix, I like my service because (1) Terminixs pest maintenance and treatment keeps my home in top form, (2) the Terminix technicians are professional, conscientious and friendly, (3) Terminix responds quickly to customer requests to address any new pest issues, (4) Terminixs notification and tracking system (a phone call is made to the client the day before service is provided, a paper report detailing the service is left for the client by the technician, and follow up emails that detail the service provided are sent to the client after service) provides an excellent record of service for the client. These are the key qualities of service one wants from a pest monitoring, maintenance and treatment provider. Terminix satisfies them all!

Thorough inspection. My complaint is that Terminix schedules the visit without consulting the customer. It is then up to the customer to change the date-time of the visit. All the other vendors I deal with work with the customer (generally via a phone call) to pick a mutually compatible time for the visit. Terminix should be more customer-friendly with the scheduling.

Metro west MA Terminix team is amazing! Frances in pest control has protected us from pests for over 15 years! His response time and attention to detail is like no other. He listens and has solved all our issues over the years.We have been Vith and team in wildlife for over 5 years now and they have been diligent at finding and blocking access points in our 1860s home. At the beginning appt scheduling was frustrating but Frances has helped ease our frustrations and get us to the right people to schedule.Highly satisfied customer and highly recommend this team!

Scheduled a time for them to come out and spray for ants. They gave me a two hour window and 30 minutes after the two hour window they sent me a text cancelling. I tried to call and reschedule and got directed to an answering service through which there was no way to stay on hold to speak with a representative. The only options were to call back later or have someone call you later. I still have not received a call to reschedule and they have already charged my card. Completely unacceptable, horrible customer service.

They always confirmed the appointment with me and sent E-mail on they appointment day remined when they would arrive.. they talked about what they found, and how it would be addressed. I feel comfortable with the technician, how they work. I have recommenced the company and the technician to people when asked about problems.

Terminix will not send a heads up via email notifying you that you are up for service. 24 hours before a service call TELLING ME! that they are coming. No, I TELL them. It is my time! This goes on every time. Terminix is in the Middle Ages when it come to contact. But, if your contract is up for renewal they are like a pack of wild hungry dogs, Emails, Phone Calls and Texts. There service is good but their Customer Service ROTS.

The worst customer service I’ve come across in years. Technician that was recently sent out is totally inept and the manager never returns calls. Save your money!The manager did return the call three days later. He was able to tell me the tech’s name for my October 16 service, but had a hard time remembering the inept tech’s name that showed up for October 20. According to the BBB, he has until November 13 to respond, maybe then I’ll get my confirmation in writing. Not holding my breath.Unbelievable. After receiving a confirmation letter from this manager through BBB, I just received a confirmation voicemail today, November 9, from this same tech- confirming he will be at my house tomorrow for service. And guess what, the manager is unavailable yet again. I called and canceled service until February, we’ll see what happens now. The BBB is getting a workout today.

I have been trying to call Terminix three times to cancel the service, and for three times they have been putting me on hold for HALF HOUR. The technician didnt call before, didnt cancel the appointment when asked to, and charged me anyway. I asked them to remove my service and my CC information from their records THREE TIMES and three times I was told it was taken care of. Now they just told me that they cant give me the contact information of the branch, and they need to approve or deny (????) the cancellation (on what basis they have this right???) I have had enough and I am posting this review on any possible outlet. STAY AWAY THIS IS A SCAM.

We are in the process of buying a house and need a quick check of the property. We were able to set up an appointment with terminix with only 24 h notice. We were given a 2-h appointment window and our inspector Steve Williams came on time. He did a great job checking out the house carefully and provided a free consultation without hard selling the service. We feel comfortable using Terminix service in the future.

Do not use this company. Paid $600 for absolutely nothing. I was told they are Pest Control not Exterminators. Not only did they not fix the problem with spiders it got worse. The only thing the technician was good for was to school me on insects. Was told they cant spray for spiders even though they you sell you that service. New company got rid of them in one treatment. Thanks for nothing Terminex.

Aaron is our TERMINEX representative and has been for the years weve been at this Needham residence. Aaron is the reason for the 10. He knows bugs and critters like the back of his hand. ANY question I ask him about things that are crawling around our home he can answer and tell me something helpful. Even if I dont know what the thing is...if I describe it, even vaguely...he knows what Ive described, he identifies it and can help me understand why they are showing up in the particular season and what to do or not do. When I save the little carcass for him, he says, this is a...... Aaron shows up on time, every time. Now he is in social distance/mask safety mode-GREAT. He is always pleasantly professional and it does not take him long to do his work. If he is not an instructor already, Aaron ought to be an instructor in your company-in whatever way you teach and train your employees. As a higher education administrator myself, I know a natural educator when I see one and Aaron is that person. I hope he is in some kind of a leadership position because he represents TERMINEX at a high level. I dont know what he makes but give him a RAISE!!! Aaron is a blessing to your company.

We had a nest of yellow jackets above a window in the front of our house. Terminix responded to my call within minutes. They came out the next day to inspect. The work was done 1 day later. A few yellow jackets were still around 4 days later. Terminix returned (no cost). With another application, they were finally gone. I would highly recommend Terminix.

All associates (from the one in the call center to the technician that treated our home) were excellent in listening about our issue with carpenter ants and addressing the actions to be taken to resolve the problem. In addition, the technician was absolutely perfect: in maintaining communication prior to the appointment, explaining how he was going to treat the home, explaining about the safety around the chemicals to be used, what to expect from the treatment, listening to any other concerns, and at the end, taking the time to check and treat the whole property. Ive been a Terminix customer for about a year. Mark, my technician is always punctual, friendly, professional and very, very knowledgeable. Very thankful for him. Hes great. I had a problem with carpenter ants, specifically. Terminix has gotten rid of the ants and all the other annoying insects. There was a huge difference after just one visit! They called right before the inspection was scheduled and the call disconnected after like 10 seconds and they didnt call back. Terrible customer service, and their automated phone service is the worst Ive ever dealt with.

Well, I was not home. The person called me to let me know he was on his way. The appointment was for 4pm to 7pm but he called me at 2pm. I had to call my mom to let her know he was coming. When he got there he sprayed on the the inside of the house and not the outside. Also he did not help my mom pull a refrigerator out so he could spray behind the refrigerator. Not friendly at all.

We have very happy with the services Terminix has been providing us. I cant put into words the feeling you get when you discover mice/rats in your home. Its upsetting to say the least. Terminix came right out and almost immediately we noticed a very big difference. Josh our service tech always lets me know when he will be by. He is very professional and does his job great. Awful customer service. Scheduled someone to come by at 10am and they never showed so I called and it took the person a very long time to find and pull up my account (even though I was giving all the correct information). Then they said they probably wouldnt be able to have someone come out today and gave no reason as to why the person scheduled for 10am never arrived. When they asked what the appointment was for I said “Bees” and they replied “Beasts?” I have lost all my faith in this company.

I spent over $5000 on the exclusion service. Terminix did a tap insulation in my attic and I was told that I am not going to have mice any more that are coming from the attic. I did not have mice for a year, but after that they (mice) started to come again. I called Terminix and a technician came and said I can see what is happening, but I will ask my manager to call you. Nobody called me. I called myself and manager sent me another tech. The tech was much better then the previous one, but nobody would go to the attic to see if there is a trace of mice even I asked to check. So, I had to call another company and they went to the attic and found a trace of mice. The tap insulation is not working. I asked Terminix for a refund of my annual fee and exclusion service that they did initially, but they would not do it and I Terminix customer for 15 years.

I am a current customer of TEMINIX Pest control service. I was happy for last 1 year. The great technician has visited every quarter and treated in advance. Yes. it is good while nothing happens. BUT, something happens, nothing done. The technician visited in May 11 and did general treatment in external area of my house. About 10 days later, ants were found inside. I found 1-2 ants per day in guest room and kitchen area. I called TEMINIX. They scheduled 1 week later, the technician didnt show up on the appointment date due to car accident. I used a day PTO but understood the unexpected accident. Okay. Again 1 week later, the service was scheduled, Ants increased 3-4 per day. Good technicians come home and treated on June 4. Today is June 10. 5-8 ants are coming out every day. I called the customer service again, the agent said the available date is July. I was upset and asked to schedule ASAP. Not acceptable to schedule in July. I pushed a lot and eventually he scheduled to this week. Im not sure if they can resolve this problem. But its very disappointing. Scheduling is difficult, results are not satisfactory. One more, I want to cancel External service which I ordered last month but now want 100% refund. I have called three times to cancel this but its impossible to reach any agent to cancel. Agents do not have any authority about cancellation. I contact the credit card company to dispute this transaction now. Sad. I have to find another pest control company, if this coming treatment doesnt work again.
