Bob @ Central Automotive has been our family mechanic for 15+ years. Found him through a referral by a colleague who had been a happy customer. We have been very happy since as well and have referred him to multiple friends... who in turn have all been satisfied customers. Bob is just as honest and straightforward with his assessments as he is skilled in doing challenging diagnosis and repairs. Most folks reading this probably know how hard it is to find that combination! We have come to fully trust Bob when it comes to looking after our vehicles... old and new. Thanks Bob!
As always, Bob is honest and professional...a rare combination these days!! Wouldnt go anywhere else.
Bob is a cracker Jack has . Work is always completed by the end of the day
So so great here! I needed new brakes and Bob did such a great job at a really affordable and honest price. He also replaced two of my tires, and the whole thing was inexpensive and very efficient. Will go here for any maintenance I need.
Central Automotive is great. We have had our cars serviced there for 12 years. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and trustworthy. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
I have never been disappointed, always honest and trustworthy. Bob the owner runs a great shop, does excellent work on my cars when I need them serviced. Fast turnaround and fixes repairs right the first time. I never need to second guess or go anywhere else. Highly recommend if you need a honest auto mechanic.
Just purchased a used car on 5/6/19 from Bob Celati dealer/owner/mechanic of Central Automotive.Under the terms of Bobs Purchase Agreement the vehicle is covered by 30 day Express Warranty provided by dealer and Implied Warranty of Merchantability and fitness provided by the state to protect buyers of used vehicles from defects that impair the safety and use of a vehicle.During the warranty period I was having a problem with my power steering a problem that would be considered a defect that impairs the safety of a vehicle. Under The Massachusetts used car Warranty Law that was displayed in the vehicle at the time of purchase the dealer is required by law to fix the problem or issue a refund. Bob acknowledged that there was a problem with the steering. He tried to diagnos and fix the problem but was unable to.So he offered a refund/ buy-back I accepted. Bob said he would only honor the buy-back under one condition that I agreed to sign a Confidentiality Agreement I have since tried to contact Bob in an attempt to resolve problem. He refuses to respond. Ive tried by phone and mail. Now my only recourse is to contact the Attorney Generals Office Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation under The used car Warranty Law a consumer can request a state certified arbitrator to decide the case.
If you want quality work from a reputable mechanic, this is the place for yo
Bob is always so nice and helpful. I used to bring my car to a service center that wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars in repairs every time I brought it in for maintenance. Bob is honest and upfront about finding and fixing any issues Ive experience with my car. I brought it in a few days ago because it was making a loud, rattling sound every time I started it. Bob was able to look under it, and it took him 5-10 minutes to find the problem and to remove and replace an aluminum shield. At $25, it cost me so little to fix compared to my past several visits to the service center. I highly recommend having Bob take a look if you need any work done, or even for a second opinion. The guys at central automotive are the best!
Great work at a reasonable rate.Cant beat getting it done right the first time
