Just because they are basically the only game store in the area that offers older games does not give them the right to treat their customers with such blatant disrespect. I went in with hopes of purchasing game that Ive really been looking forward to getting and I was told that it would be a certain price before checkout. In the middle of checking out another staff member interrupted the sale and made the price HIGHER than what I was originally told. Better to buy online

I have come to this place multiple times since i moved to casselberry. I love the retro games and systems. They also have the newer games as well. Ive also had them repair a controller from my switch at an affordable price. I tend to visit every couple of weeks. Super nice people work there.

Really amazing store; good deals and quality games and fair return policy; but im giving them 1 star because they sell some anime stickers that come from other artists without permission. We found one sticker that had the artists handle we contacted them to see if we can het more stickers from their own shop but come to realize that they dont even make stickers. If i were you dont buy the stickers.

I really like this gaming store. The prices are fair especially for Super Nes games. The employees are nice. If you havent been here yet go check them out. You can find most stuff here a little cheaper than other places thats for sure.

I went up to get a ps4 controller for $64 and didn’t want it. Went back and was told I couldn’t get a refund even though I just came from there. If I can’t get a refund then whats the point of buying anything?

I spent several years of buying and selling from them and they are worth it! They have saved me time and stress with the treasures they had or I had found, even helping me get one of my most frustrating treasures to gain. My most recent treasures sold them saved me in a money making issue. Thank you so much!

If you want retro games this is THE best place to go, tons and tons of awesome finds, fair prices, and staff knows what theyre doing when it comes to reproduction carts/boxes so its properly labeled if you care about that (like me). You can also request to be put on a wishlist for specific games if something you really want isnt in currently. I dont live in the area but anytime I come back I will definitely be stopping by.

This store has SNES, NES, Game Cube, 3DS, Wii U, Wii, Switch, depending on the console/game that you might want to buy from, they will have! They also have a couple limited time products too, such as Limited Run and Limited Consoles! I really enjoyed my time there, the employees are delightful and really nice!! They didn’t mind me asking questions and generally just talking about our favorite games or just anything game-related.I see full potential for this store! Recommended for anyone around the Orlando area!

Favorite local video game store. Carries a ton of retro games.

I took in several games, systems and controllers last year in the spring. I received a gift card of over $125. Finally, today I went in with intent to buy games to resell. There were two people working. One called her boss and I was told they dont sell to resellers. However they are selling knock off pokemon games. Im surprised thats allowed. I wont be back. They had no problems taking my games to resell for a profit. There business model stinks.

Nice people, good prices. If selling, youll have to haggle with them. Depending on who is working seems to affect how much value youll receive for your trade in.

Very poor customer service. I dropped off a PS2 slim for repairs and they said itd take 2 weeks. I waited 2 weeks and a day and since Id not heard back I called for an update. They said it was ready so I came to pick it up to be told they couldnt fix it, with no explanation as to why they didnt call me or details about what was wrong with it. Very disappointed and will not recommend anymore.

Bro, I just brought in a wii that doesnt read discs and one wii game and got 45 bucks for it like 30 minutes before this review was written. Also I got 40 something bucks for a huge stack of games at some other retro store so definitely go to this place. I picked up a n64 controller and 3 n64 games. This (in my opinion) was a great haul! 🤣Edit: got some ps1 games for the cheap with store credit and this review would still be 5 stars... if I didnt just realize the cashier didnt give me my gift card with my remaining store credit. Now I gotta wait till the morning and call to see what we can do about it

Hands down my favorite videogame store. I have frequented this location for several years now and always recommend it to all my friends looking for local store. They have an incredible selection of games for every console you can think of, theyve got games I didnt even know existed. They get new trades in all the time and post big collections to their social media so you know when new stuff is in. Staff is incredible, they all love games and are extremely knowledgeable and eager to help, very awesome and friendly people working there.

Great store! It is fun to look around in and the employees are friendly. There is a great selection of stuff. I like that they sell plenty of retro games and they offer repairs on many items. It is worth noting though, that they do not do cash refunds. This was particularly frustrating for me since I bought a used Nintendo switch joy con, and upon bringing it home it had a dead zone at first, and was unreliable when the dead zone went away. Being unable to get a cash refund, I was able to trade it in for store credit towards a different purchase. I bought a used pro controller and it has worked well for the past month or so since I bought it. Even though this whole ordeal was annoying, the staff were incredibly helpful and understood my frustration. I just recommend bringing your device to test anything you purchase that is used to make sure it is properly working. Other than that one experience though, I have had very positive experiences at Cybertron and I plan to continue shopping there when I am in the area.

Been a regular here for years and its easily my favorite game store in the area. 9/10 times theyll have what youre looking for without even having to call in to check. Staff are nice, love to converse, and super chill. They tend to get new games in about a day before street date and even sell them for $5 under market price.A few days ago, I took in a Wii U GamePad to get the screen replaced and bought a copy of Paper Mario TTYD on GameCube. When I got home, I realized the volume slider was stuck and the case to TTYD was printed on computer paper. I took them both in today and they fixed the volume slider for free and let me switch out my ugly case with an official one. (Had to pay an upcharge for the good case but thats understandable, games super rare.)Only criticism I have of the place is the rewards loyalty card. The card says one punch per $15 spent and ten punches (in other words, at least $150 spent) gives you a $20 coupon. However, I was told that they can only give you one punch a day. The employees and manager have been super lenient about that with me for about a year and give me multiple punches when I make big purchases or multiple purchases in a day, but I wonder why the rule is there in the first place, and I wonder if non-regular customers havent been given the same considerate treatment. For major purchases like consoles or incredibly rare games that cost hundreds of dollars, I understand that a local business bleeding $20 coupons might be harmful, but surely a middle ground could be reached, like a three-punch a day limit instead, or one punch per item $15 or over. Id imagine that these cards are great ways to generate regular customers and develop loyalty, so severely limiting the loyalty given back to the customer seems off to me. If a customer is willing to spend more money at a local store, the customer should be rewarded.Amazing store that I make a half-hour hike to over GameStop or other local game stores because theyre selection is massive, their staff is friendly, and their service is incredible. Its absolutely worth it.

The staff here are amazing! They are very patient and are open to friendly conversation. I genuinely feel welcome here despite visiting the store so much over a short timespan.You can tell that they care about their customers and they want you to come back, which is the main reason why I visit this store every time I make the trip to Oviedo.The store has an exciting selection of retro games, accessories, and hardware; I cant wait to visit again!

Fantastic store, been a few times before but never tried their disc repair services till as of recently.Yesterday, I went in to resurface my copy of Melee and I was delighted to see it fully playable. I highly recommend this place.

This place has the best selection of retro games I have ever seen. Xbox, PS2, PS one, even super Nintendo just to name a few. They were also the only place I could find that would fix my PS3. I wish they would open one up near my house in ocoee or apopka or windermere but as far as I know this one by fullsail is the only one.

I wrote a negative review a year ago because of a mishap I had with my first experience at the store. Which I now regret because my visits have since been amazing. The prices cant be beaten. They even tried to repair my Sega Gamegear but their repair guy couldnt be reached that day. So yes they do installs and repairs. I had an internal battery installed in my Pokemon Yellow. Ive even purchased a Gameboy Advance, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis from Cybertron. I cant wait for my next visit because I get a free $20 game with my next purchase!

Love this store i brought a gamecube there and alot more !! Would really highly recommend this place. Never let me down 1 bit and if there was a mistake i can call back and tell them politely whats the issue. Hope this store and stores like this get very popular. As a collector this store is a must stop. I always stop by both stores when I’m in Orlando. And every time I walk out with a huge pile of games I need and at great prices.

Very disappointed in our visit. The staff was incredibly rude. The girl handed my fiancé a game and told him not to steal it and the other guy was no help. Just kept saying “look in the case”

Its a pretty great shop. I bought a game here I had been looking for. I am a collector so I look for things in pristine condition always. It wasnt until I got back to my hotel and started inspecting that I found they put metallic stickers on their discs. I can understand rental companies doing it, but not when you are selling games. It isnt a practice people do or is wide spread I buy games all over and this is the first I have found. I will not leave it on there so this can either be a minor inconvenience if I use wd 40 and a razor blade to remove it, or if someone with less knowledge got it and wanted to remove it and just pulled it off it could possibly rip the entire data layer of the disc off, in that spot. Good selection, incredibly nice employees, and thoughtful about covid-19 and its spread. However this one practice really dampened my experience. Was planning on going back today in fact and still may but only to buy cartridge based games.

This is an amazing place. Their prices are generally equal or better than other retro game shops. The selection at this location is amazing. You could spend hours just looking through a treasure trove of video game history. If youre looking for it, they probably have it. Every time I go here, the employees are always friendly and helpful. You dont feel the sales pressure like other game stores. Many times I end up having a great conversation with them. There was one time I bought a game and the disc gave errors. I brought it back and they exchanged it easily with no hassles. I will always keep coming back to this store.

Ive been to Cybertron many times in the last few weeks, I can honestly say that there is an extensive and exciting variety of games to see, given enough experience and time. The selection is very versatile, providing not only many different titles, but consoles and accessories for those as well. Curated collections in glass cases offer some of the most noteworthy selections you could make, I recommend asking the staff if there should be any question, theyre very knowledgeable.A caveat about Cybertron is that most issues with purchases have been met with skepticism and addressed at least partially condescendingly on most occasions.You are more likely to be respected if more than moderately knowledgeable about and experienced in video games. Some of the staff is unafraid to talk about customers ten feet away in a way that is hurtful or unaware that they can be heard, ouch.Rest assured that even if they do not care for you, they will usher aside any contempt and bear through a smile for the sake of giving kind service. Even during a slow time of day, far before closing, expect to go at high speed through your transactions. Have your card ready.Ive spent a lot of money at Cybertron because I love it and I love supporting local businesses and I love the staff, but I wish there were greater patience. I dont think Ill be going back. You will probably enjoy it, its a great store with great hardworking people behind it, hopefully this helps.

First off this shop is Amazing, I love it. I collect and mod game consoles and this shop always has what I need. Today I got a SNES mini here. I saw a review on here earlier that said their MSRP is 80 and that this place is way overpriced. Ive been looking for this product for months and any place that sells them for the MSRP sells out almost as soon as they come in stock, their site doesnt even have a chance to update. Resellers are selling these things online for Mid 100s to low 200s and thats why theyre so hard to find in store. I honestly think its great that they dont mark up this product more because they totally could and would still sell it. While I agree that its a shame that everybody cant buy the Nintendo product for the MSRP because Nintendo hasnt put out enough supply to meet demand Im glad that local game shops are willing to sell it at this price range so that I dont have to buy it from scalpers. I love this shop because the selection is always great and the staff has extensive knowledge on everything from games to the specs of specific console models. Sure you could probably find the same stuff cheaper online but its going to take forever and you cant determine the quality with your own eyes. The mark-up the shop does is minimal and I appreciate it, because of that markup they always seem to have at least one of what I want in stock. People just need to realize that local shops need to sell things slightly more expensive to keep a decent stock and a good shop running and I am happy to pay that extra 10 to 15% to keep an awesome local game shop running so I dont have to sell my soul at GameStop. I miss this place greatly. I had to move from this area a few years back and This place always comes to mind. Great service and great prices.Im not too big on buying used games but the few I have from here was awesome and still work.Trade in value is great as well. Very knowledgable and helpful service. I try my best to inform my other gaming buddies in Central Florida to come here. Specially if they are looking for other items like movies and collectibles.

Dont come here for repairs. Lost my childhood PS1 controller to a simple solder fix.The selection of retro games and hardware is good, however. Conversation/customer service can be lacking and awkward, but if you know what you want and what youre looking for, its a good spot to pick up games.

BEST GAME STORE AND BEST SERVICE, I was referred to come here by a friend, because although I am no longer a huge video game enthusiast, I still have a soft spot in my heart for the classics. First off, the staff is friendly and kind, not snobby like most video game store folks. Theyre quick to help and the store has AMAZING inventory and selection. I am a very critical person of guest service, and my experience with Brandon was phenomenal. If I had a business and needed to hire someone to interact with customers, I would hire Brandon in an instant. I am not even from Orlando, so I dont come here very often, but know that I am a forever customer and supporter. If you need or want great priced games, classic or now, come here. The fella working was clearly not interested in talking with me about their stuff and got back to chatting with the other employees as fast as possible after giving me very basic and almost curt answers.A young female employee (who had literally just walked in) saved the day. She immediately came over to me and ended up selling me a new system and some games...if it hadnt been for her I probably would have left without buying anything.A word to the manager/owner...you got a nice store, but some of your employees need to realize they are there to help folks and not roost upon their position as clerks in a game store. Over all good store, mediocre staff.

Had all 4 of my PS2 ratchet & Clank games as well as my Jak II disc reconditioned and repaired for $25 total. The scratches were pretty much smothering each disc light and deep, their resurfacing machine buffed out basically 90-95% of the nasty and/or light scratches present making them completely presentable again. Will be back to repair any other discs that I believe need the work done. A++

Always good finds, friendly service with people who know their games, great prices especially compared to websites, and better quality than local competition. I come here a lot, usually looking for older stuff. They have supplied the majority of my Nintendo selection from NES to SNES, N64, Gamecube and Wii. I have even gotten good deals on new PS4 games and controllers. Youll love it

They have a pretty diverse selection of games both new and old-school. The prices are good, they can clean your effd-up discs if they arent actually cracked or severely damaged.Theres another store so if they dont have a game you want in stock theres still a chance that itll be at their other place. Theyll just have it delivered in a few days.

I want to come back on here and write an updated and better review. I have been a customer at Cybertron for the past 5 years or so. Overall I really love this store. Its my #1 go-to for retro video games and modern games in the area. While this store isnt perfect I have always been pleased with their services. Out of all the retro stores in Central Florida, Cybertron has the cheapest prices. However, as a collector, I wish they would take some extra measures to make the games on their shelves look a little better such as swapping cases and artwork when necessary. One problem I would like to see them address is testing games before putting them on the shelves. My friend and I who are retro collectors have had game discs not work when we got back home. However, we have been very pleased with how they have handled these situations with their return policies. If the game disc wouldnt work after resurfacing it, they would give us a refund in store credit and would allow us to buy something different. I might be a bit nitpicky, but I like my games looking the best they can. I love how they get in new games before street date. Its very fun being able to play new games a few days before launch! The staff has always been really friendly and very helpful over the years, including the owner Gus. If you are a collector like me or you are someone who wants to experience games new and old, this store is perfect for you. Im looking forward to coming here more often and keep building my game collection!

This place is amazing. The staff is much more friendly than a typical game store and theyre all gamers so they actually know what theyre talking about. The selection is huge and the prices are always very competitive. I just happened upon Cybertron one day while I was looking for n64 games and now they couldnt keep me out if they tried.

Customer Service has improved immensely. I never wrote a review before, because frankly it probably would have been a 2 or 3. Im particularly happy with the store since I had an issue with my PS Vitas Memory Card. I bought this system from Cybertron almost a year ago, so I wasnt expecting anything. But I called and asked if there was anything they could do. They helped me out and replaced my memory card, no questions asked.Its still not the most ideal Retro Store. But customer service goes a long way. If your staff continues to be friendly, then Ill still find my place coming by to check to see if you have anything I want.Id come in more if the selection and prices on certain things were better. Specifically common games that have crappy labels are often over priced.But kudos for the improvements.

This store is great! Lots of vintage games and a knowledgeable staff that is amazing. Angel answered every question my six year old had. Things are priced well too. The 3ds game was $5 cheaper than the other used video game store. I will say they have so much it takes some time to go through everything but worth it!

Cybertron is a store thats needed in the day an age where popular chain stores no longer offer gems of the past. I have always been treated well by the staff of this place, like a person and not a reservation number. They host local tournaments and events which bring our community together. In short this store is great and so is the staff I highly recommend you visit.

Updated reviewSo I came here about a year ago and had a not so great experience but I really needed a charger for a retro system and decided to give this place a try again. let me just say it was a very different experience from my first visit. As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed any help. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They quickly answered all my questions and have a great selection of products. I left the store with my new charger and a smile on my face. Definitely recommend.
