Great place to have your clothing tailored. So far Ive brought three jackets, one whole suit, and 2 pants tailored here, all on separate occasions. Easy experience and great results each time. Remember, you always want to give your tailor enough time for the job. So bring in your pieces at least a week before you need them.

I drive right by this wonderful place every day on my way to work and am thrilled to have finally had a reason to stop in and try out their alterations services! I had a nightmare scenario with a bridesmaids dress where when I received it from the designer three months late and three weeks before the big day, I realized it was missing a huge chunk of material at the bottom of the dress!? This area was ripped and torn...like a hungry dog had gotten to it. Well, I brought the dress to Judi, owner of the store and in as little as one week she worked her MAGIC. The dress is PERFECT and looks like it should have looked when I first received it!! Judi is beyond talented and such a pleasure to get to know. She is extremely professional and can work miracles in a very short period of time. And the best thing of all? Her prices are so reasonable and will not break your bank!! Words cant even begin to describe how amazing Judi and her staff is. From the moment I walked into the door I knew I was in the perfect place :) Judi has extensive knowledge and knows what works and what doesnt. She made me feel beautiful and every appointment enjoyable. I actually looked forward to all of my fittings. Her and her team of talented seamstresses actually went above and beyond on all my requests. Not only did I want my wedding dress altered in quite a few ways but I wanted to create a one of a kind rehearsal dinner dress that incorporated my mothers wedding dress. Judi listened carefully to all of my ideas and took my inspiration picture and gave me a dress that was beyond perfect! Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would turn out this gorgeous!!! The service from The Seamstress was amazing. I went to Judi on a suggestion from my planner, Michele Butler (who I also recommend :P), and I was so pleased. Judi had a great sense of humor, helpful tips, and is very good at what she does. My dress fit like a dream on my big day, and she bustled up all that skirt for this Princess in a lovely and elegant way.On the day of my second fitting, which I attended with my then soon-to-be mother-in-law, Judi was ready to show us how to bustle the gown, but it was too heavy for my tiny future mum-in-law to handle - LOTS of fabric. Judi and the team did a demo for us, and I recorded it with my cellphone camera to show my maid of honor and planner on the day of the wedding. Step-by-step, she went through every tie and eye/hook, explaining everything.I love Judi and The Seamstress - Quality and Great Service. You made me look good, Judi! Thank you so very much.

Excellent customer service and they did an amazing job with my wedding dress! It’s multiple layers and poofy with a lot of details but they did amazing with the alterations! They also took a video of how to bustle the dress properly! Highly recommend

I am always weary about trying new places but after hearing so many great reviews - I had to try! I brought a casual Kate Spade dress to have hemmed and I was so impressed. Judi and her team were AMAZING! Super friendly and fairly priced for the quick turn around and great work. I will definitely be returning for all of my alterations!

Judi is AMAZING! She is sweet, caring, straight forward and a true professional. From the moment I walked in with my Sister and best friend, she was welcoming. I put on my dress, she made me feel good and knew exactly what needed to be done to get the perfect fit. I am getting married 3/7/15 and I know that I will look stunning because of her.My Sisters initial dress didnt fit, it was sent in the wrong size, and of course she was upset. Judi was so kind to talk to her and let her know it would all be alright. Judi worked well with Alex from Calvet Couture to get a new dress sent within a matter of weeks. Now the dress fits and looks fantastic!THANK YOU JUDI FOR EVERYTHING!!

Judi altered the dresses for my daughters wedding March 2014, no complaints. I bring another daughters prom dress to be altered in March 2015. There is sequin beading in the bust area of dress. Judi said this will be pricey. I said what are talking here? Judi said $75.00 I said Ouch, but okay One week later, my daughter picks up dress and Judi is charging us $239!!! (thats $42/hr/ 6 hours). I begged Judi to work with us since she had said $75. She said no & that she never said it...I have one witness that says she did say $75. I dont why Judi treated us this way. After phoning her a few days later, I am more stunned with her attitude. I asked if she would forewarn future customers when the price will be so outrageously high, she wouldnt answer & then hung up. Judi has since blocked my phone number from being accepted on her phone. I think what I am most surprised at is Judi doesnt seem to care that she lost several customers and that I would be writing these reviews..I wonder how many other customers Judi has done this to? My advice, go anywhere else .

Unfortunately, this business has fallen VERY short of expectations. The seamstress here did not take good measurements and essentially ruined a $425 blouse from Neiman Marcus due to her lacking ability. Three trips to the store have not fixed the issue. There are other issues with the service that aren’t even worth discussing. Avoid this shop and take your nice clothing elsewhere.

Judi, You are wonderful you made my $250 wedding dress look like I paid a MILLION bucks. Plus my daughter and step daughter dresses you made look amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you want to go to a location with a pleasant atmosphere, quality customer service, and feel confident about the dress you chose, Judy may not be the right seamstress for you. I noticed when I booked my appointment with Judy she did not sound very friendly on the phone, but I went in for a free consultation anyway. She said my dress was out of style multiple times, because it had silk fabric and it was a ball gown. She criticized several things about the dress and said whoever made it did a horrible job. She seemed to contradict herself a couple of times and had a negative attitude. She told me it would be $900 to fix and recreate my dress. My friend also asked about bringing her dress in for a consultation, but she found Judy negative and her words to both of us discouraging. She said her lack of customer service and positivity would make her hard to work with. If you meet with Judy, ask yourself what you think of her manner and deamoner? Please read and consider other reviews about her before you use her as your seamstress.

I was a customer at this seamstress for years, and my daughter have a bridesmaid to alter when I come, I just find out Judy passed away and lady over there cant do it, so my wedding planner send me to Thais alterations, I went there then I find out Tammy is the lady use to work for Judy longtime ago, Im so happy to see her, so now I want to let everyone know, she is the best of the best, you wont disappointed. She did amazing job ✅The price very fair, I love her ❤️

Judy did a phenomenal job altering my wedding gown, which was accidentally ordered 2 sizes too big based on my measurements and the designers size chart. All of the pleats were resewn perfectly, and the fact that she had pieces of chocolate ready at a moments notice to quell any bridal breakdowns (good or panicked) was wonderful. My appointments sometimes started a few minutes later than scheduled (less than 10 minutes) but it was because she was still working with a bride and was clearly intent on getting their dress correct, and was not going to be rushed. I was always shown that same courtesy of never rushed and always sure I was happy before moving on. The reminders of posture and how to stand to really show off really did ring in my head a week later. Two thumbs up!

WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a seamstress and this is the place I take ALL of my clothes when I need alterations. They do everything from formal wear to regular everyday clothing. Jeans, Dresses, Pants, Jackets, whatever you have these ladies are up for the task! Very fair pricing, clean store and wonderful alteration work!!!!!

Great friendly, experienced staff. A gem of a find. Cannot beat the price and service. Had my slacks taken in and they did superb work.

While I am terribly sorry for Judis death, I myself am upset that my dress was not finished and had to be redone. We paid $216 for an incomplete dress that was done very poorly. I do not believe Judi did any work on my dress. Had to take the dress elsewhere and pay $130 to get it fixed. I am still waiting for the shop to make this right.

I wanted to take the time to review this place. I have been to several alterations shops and this one has been the most personable, professional, and also the most patient. My wife had 3 fittings for one dress and came back again for another one. For my engagement photoshoot that same day, I was unaware of the hours open and when I got to the shop, it was closed. I called they m and they came to open the store within 30 mins! This was a huge lifesaver. The dress fit was immaculate and she even made custom stitching to fit my wife’s dress more snuggly to her body. I hope for those that were on the fence read my review and take my advice! I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Judy is, by far, the best seamstress I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Took my wedding gown to her back in December of 2015 for minor alterations for my February 2016 wedding. Everything went so smoothly and quick; and at a reasonable rate too. I was, and still am, oh so very pleased with her work. She was so kind and straight forward. She cut up with me and my girls and we felt completely at home with her. Judy is very professional and knows what she is doing. She doesnt waist any time either, and who could blame her as she stays very busy. Her shop was filled with gowns to be worked on. She had us in and out in no time flat, but also made us feel like we were her only clients. My gown did not need much. She sewed my bra into the dress as well as the crinoline. She completed the alteration by also sewing the sash around the outside of my dress. It looks fantastic and made for easy day of dressing. I would recommend The Seamstress to anyone looking for a quality, professional seamstress. Do not be fooled by going somewhere else like a friend of mine did. She was thinking about going to The Seamstress and decided to go elsewhere and has expressed to me multiple times that she regrets not going to Judy. Although her wedding gown looked great, she was not pleased at all at the alterations someone else did. Dont even question it, call Judy and make the appointment. You wont regret it.P.S.
