If you’re looking to relax and get your full times worth don’t visit this location.The esthetician was kind but the whole experience felt rushed, and by the time we were finished and I checked the time, it had only been 45minutes. My session was suppose to be 60minutes. Now I understand dress/consultation time but 45minutes? Really? I’ve had a long week and came by to be relaxed not rushed. The front desk told me a manager would be contacting me about this, but it’s been 3 days now and no phono call or email.I’ll be going to other locations now and not recommending this one.

Overall, the scheduling of my service and the explanation of what the service entails. I paid 2 sessions for a microdermabrasion for it only to be in total about a 25 minute service. Since Ive been going to massage envy Ive never had a service less than 1 hour total. I was done getting dressed and leaving the room at 8:42! My service didnt even start on time. I took a photo because I was in shock when I looked at the clock after my service. The therapist showed up late (7 minutes) then brought me in after getting settled (8:12). This was not the issue at all. The issue was no one explained the service would only be this amount of time or the fact that when I called and asked for a facial I would only be getting microdermabrasion. I am unhappy with the service and I will most definitely be cancelling my membership soon. If I didnt have over 6 sessions to utilize I would cancel it now.The communication with Heather could have been better. She offered something as a courtesy due to the issue I had to only call back and change the originally agreed upon offer. Her reasoning being OTHER locations dont do this. However, I am in fact very aware that most locations are independently owned and separately franchised and operated. So, I am not entirely sure why what other locations do would dictate and prevail over what this location does. I typically do not have issues here other than when they scheduled a male therapist although I asked for female and when the therapist did not “know” they had my session scheduled and never showed up. After 5+ years, Massage Envy will not be getting anymore of my money!

Worst massage I’ve ever had. Therapist was ten minutes late, used lotion when I requested oil, did not use the aromatherapy I requested, and was totally rushed in everything from setting me up to the actual massage.

Love this place and the staff. I wish the middle aged white women didnt give them such a hassel. You pay for your time, you get it all. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes to be seen after your scheduled appointment, but its a health service provided... Much like a doctors office. Some people just dont get it. these people work with their hands all day for hours at a time. Sometimes breaks between clients are needed.

I got a gift card and booked at the Winter park location. (Big mistake) first, while sitting in the waiting area... theres a female who sits in the public massage chair. 10 minutes later she gets called in, a few minutes later a man walks in who was waiting for his wife and he asks can I sit on this chair? The girl at the front says SURE! doesnt wipe down the chair, doesnt tell him to wipe down the chair, while the previous person was barefoot with her feet on the massager too. This grossed me out and made me concerned on the sanitation routine they are practicing. (If any)Then, its a 60 minute FULL body massage, I got an upper back massage for 60 mins! HORRIBLE! My husband was also scheduled for a massage which he got. He expressed that the massage therapist never asked if she was pressing to hard or to soft, was he comfortable, etc.. I noticed that they have a lot of regulars that seem to go there and those are the ones who get special treatment.Anyways, I do not recommend this location and will never go back.

I recently went to this location. I signed up for a membership that I couldn’t keep due to conflicts with my schedule. I had an issue with my bill and of course I wasn’t happy with it but their billing department fixed it really soon!!! Their customer service was exceptional and it is a very nice location. Terrible location - every other store in Central Florida has been great to work with but for some reason Winter Park location does not answer the phone at all. I have called this location dozens of times without getting someone on the phone.

Im not one to write bad reviews, but I had to share my experience. Ive used this location for a couple years on and off, and its been fine. Massages are pretty good.BUT I booked an appointment on a Saturday at 5pm for a deep tissue massage, because I had really bad neck/back pain. I received a call on Friday asking if I could possibly move my appointment to Sunday at 5pm because their employee had been excused. I said okay and that was fine. Come Sunday, I received another call in the morning saying that yet ANOTHER therapist had been excused and if I would like to either reschedule for a facial on Sunday or book for another day. By Sunday night I was in terrible pain and had to find another massage therapist.I know businesses are navigating through COVID, but it was very unprofessional to cancel twice. Why even say you have an opening? Please fix this with management, its really inexcusable.

I was given a gift card for $60 to Massage Envy last Christmas. A 60 minute massage costs $110 so I wouldnt have even considered it without the gift card but figured Id give it a shot.Ive now booked a massage online TWICE at this location only to arrive and be told that my appointment had been cancelled. Not right away though, after 15 minutes of trying to figure out what happened, they eventually figure out that the therapist I had booked had called in sick and that they had left a voicemail about the cancellation. But I didnt get any voicemails either time. No voicemail, email, text message, nothing. Same exact issue TWICE, months apart. The only help they offer is to re-book your appointment on another day.After reading other reviews online it appears that it is a common practice to reschedule and cancel without much notice, if any.There are plenty of reasonably priced massage services around and always tons of deals on Groupon. Dont waste your money at Massage Envy when you can get the same thing for half the price elsewhere (with better service). Ill be giving away my gift card this Christmas. Hopefully someone will have better luck than I did.

Best massages in town!!! Super clean and freshly remodeled. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Hands are borderline magical. Facials offered at a reasonable price. Membership options which would include a discount on services. Cant beat it if you tried. Im a firm believer in massages and these are great!

Great staff at this location. I stopped by yesterday for a deep tissue massage and unfortunately the masseuse I came to see was out for the day so I was helped by Monica. Although she told me she doesnt do deep tissue massages, she still gave me an amazing massage. Ive been going to Massage Envy for over a year, to various locations, but I would have to say this is my favorite in the Orlando area. Thank you Monica for beating up my back so I could have some relief yesterday. I would highly recommend this location.

Great massage therapist here - one star reduced because they stopped offering any water under the premise of COVID. Bottled water is not a hazard nor is water served just like coffee at Starbucks or other spots by the staff with masks and gloves. Otherwise, very nice place and would recommend.

I have been going to the massage envy on Aloma next to the First Watch, Nail Salon, and Aloma Cinema Grille for about a year. The staff there is super nice, and the place is very clean. Marissa is definitely the best masseuse. She truly cares about making you feel better and relaxed. She is very kind and wonderful at her job. I always leave feelings relaxed and refreshed. I recommend massage envy to everyone!

No the best experience...My boyfriend got me a gift card for Massage Envy to help me release stress and feel better physically. I’ve been so looking forward to scheduling this session and have some me time. When I called to book the session, the person on the phone was able to book me for the same day appointment which I thought was great, but they never asked if I had a therapist preference or what my goal was for my massage session (it would be helpful to pair a client up with the right therapist). When I arrived 15 minutes early to my scheduled massage session, my temperature was checked and I signed a waiver, then I waited until a little after my scheduled time (no one let me know how long it would be, no updates at all). When my assigned therapist came to get me, she let the reception know that I still need to do the paperwork. By the time I finished the paperwork and walked back to the room, it was at least 10mins into my session (not to count undressing). The session itself felt rushed. The room was cold. I had goosebumps on my body. I asked massage therapist to focus on my back, and most of the time was spent on my shoulders (I’m thankful for the therapist trying to get the knots out of my shoulders, I know I need work and attention in that area, but I specifically asked for my back). The rest of the body was skimmed through. When I was told that I was done, I looked at the clock and felt cheated (it was 10 mins left to the end of the session, so the time that I spent waiting and then doing paperwork during my session time because they forgot or didn’t pay attention was never added to the session). The session started late, but finished on time. I get it you have the schedule to follow and need to prepare the room for the next appointment, but then you need to be on top of your game. I came in early. This was my Intro session, needless to say I would not be signing up for a membership, nor would I recommend it to my friends or clients. The customer service was just below average. This is where franchise businesses need to pay attention and focus on client experiences from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they are out and every step of the way.

Second worst massage I have ever had. The room temperature was cold and the blankets along with the massage oil was cold. I’ve been getting massage since I was 18, I’m 31 now. In my experience there’s usually a heating pad or a heated massage table. Besides that the girl who gave me a massage had a some body order issues and was basically rubbing the oil on me with a slight massage when I asked for deep tissue. I also asked for her to focus on my back more but she worked on that the least. I was planning on purchasing a membership but after that massage I will never go back. I envy nothing about massage envy.

I had purchased a gift card and was told even if I lost the gift card, my name and information would be in the system. The gift card was purchased with no expiration date! When I decided to go in to use the gift card, I was not able to locate the actual card. I went in to see if I would be able to use the gift card, my information was in the system, because the receptionist confirmed the name and saw that it had never been used. However, I was told massage envy stopped the program because apparently it was being abused.......... However, I think it is extremely unfair that they would not honor what they originally told me and now I had paid for a gift card and basically I am screwed!!!!!! They offered no compensation AT ALL!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

I received a massage here once and scheduled a second time. The therapist I had the first time was fantastic. Male therapist but I cant remember his name. The second time my fiancee and I set up appointments for a couples massage, specifically requesting 2 male therapists. I checked 3 different dates with the front desk woman before we found a day 2 male therapists were available for a couples massage. My fiancee and I went in, were taken back to their tranquility room and then a female and male therapist come up to take us back. The woman was the same one my fiancee had previously had and said she was terrible. I went up to the front desk, told them about the mix up and all she had to say was oh, well someone put it in the computer as no preference for the second therapist. I told her she was wrong, we requested 2 males and she never even apologized, just said do you want to reschedule? I did not reschedule. Im quite appalled by her lack of customer service. Not even an apology for THEIR mistake. I will not go back.

Massages were fine, but after cancelling my membership my card has been charged every month for the past three months, despite calling each time to complain. Each time I have been assured the issue is taken care of. At this point I feel they either dont know what theyre doing or are intentionally dishonest.

Bad experience here. They tried charging me $90 for a sixty minute Massage. Then the male therapist did not have a good touch and he messed up my neck. Now every time I turn my head it cracks and makes a noise that it did not do prior to the massage. My back hurt terribly on and off for two weeks After the Massage. Would Not Recommend At All. Bad experience.

Everyone there was extremely friendly, the massage therapist I saw was very thorough and worked wonders on my back issues. My sciatic nerve had been pinched for a couple weeks and this helped tremendously! I am definatley going back in the near future!

I was offered a membership for 6 months. The massages are great if you can get an appointment. Most of the time you call to make an appointment and you get a voicemail. You expect a call back in order to schedule your appointment, it rarely happens at this location. In addition, the process to make an appointment in another clinic is simply a pain because you have to fill out again all the forms for each location.My recommendation if you want to ensure you relax and enjoy, plan 30 minutes of meditation prior going there or calling for an appointment and you will be able to appreciate the massage. The therapists that are awesome!I will not renew my membership and hire a massage therapist instead.

I am a member at Massage Envy and Was really looking forward to booking an appointment. Asked all the right questions, had everything set up and the receptionist wouldn’t confirm my appointment until I gave her my credit card over the phone. I insisted for her to hold my appointment until I could get my credit card since I didn’t have it in front of me and she wouldn’t. I called 10 minutes later and the appointment was ‘gone’ and suddenly they were booked for the day. Real unprofessional and not at all customer service oriented. Looking forward to going back to my usual locations. Terrible policy!

I must say in the 9 days Ive been a member, Ive been called three times to reschedule appointments. The excuse is we have issues with our online scheduling system sometimes. The reason is really that their masseuse only get paid for the time they are giving massages. Since people are booking their own appointments online, there sometimes is a gap. So instead of the employee or the company finding a solution to this problem, they call the client, who has already booked a time that is convenient for them and ask them to reschedule or book with another masseuse. Sorry, I dont want just anyone giving me a massage. If I have established a relationship with a masseuse, thats who I want. Scheduling is real pain in the a$$ and Im just going to start cancelling my appointments when they call instead of trying to readjust my schedule.

Just had a massage from Jennifer tonight and she was the third female therapist I have tried since I signed on with the membership. She is the one I think I will stick with for now on. She was awesome!

Bad customer service. My wife had a bad experience with the masseuse. You would be better off looking on Google for a higher rated massage place. I have read some of the other reviews about over billing and mis billing. Management really missed the mark on correcting these mistakes. I understand when mistakes are made but its how they are handled that shows the true character of an establishment. Go somewhere else if you want a pleasant experience.

Whatever you do, DONT sign up for the membership. While the massages are fine for the price (not medical massage, but feel good), I lost hundreds of dollars I can never get back. When the membership was presented to me by a receptionist/salesperson, I thought I could cancel at any time. Had I read more closely, I would have seen that if you cancel in the first year, you still have to pay for the rest of the annual membership or pay a fine. Then, once cancelled, you must use all your massages youve accumulated within 30 days of your last billing charge. Otherwise, you lose that money and the service forever. Well, I got busy. I also have a handicap that prevents me from driving. I racked up six massages, and now that my membership is up I will be able to use only two of those six Ive paid for. I tried to cancel in October which is when I found out I couldnt without losing even more money.Overall, its not a bad experience if you stick to buying your services individually as a non-member. But they try to rope you in with the promises of how great the membership is. I also liked that I could give my massages to other people, and I thought you could do one per person per month for free - wrong. Its a $10 charge to transfer it even if youve already paid for it. Basically Ive ended up paying $91 per massage without including tips. So not really a bargain.As for the quality, some of their therapists are great, most are average. I never got a facial or any of the other special services.

Ive been going to this location off and on for many years. Everytime I get a good massage therapist to stick with, they end up gone the next time I visit. Therefore the massage experience is always hit or miss. Also, the hour massage is only 40-45 mins of massage time, the allocate 15-20 mins to prep. The place is nice and staff is pleasant but not the best massage you will have.
