I am from out of town and badly needed a haircut. The reviews looked good so I gave Turning Heads a try.I’m a 62 yr old male with all my hair. I booked with Phillip and all I can say is, I wish he was my barber back home. He followed my instructions to perfection, # 4 clippers on sides and back, and scissor trim top and bangs. He blended it absolutely perfectly, no harsh lines the younger generation prefers. He called it a Gentleman’s Cut, and thats the way it looks. My wife and I loved itPhillip is a perfectionist., really taking his time with attention to detailThe shop is spotless and I noticed all barbers cleaned their chair and equipment between customers. Everyone that works there is very friendly.We visit this area often and without a doubt I will go back to this shop, and hopefully Phillip, on our next visitBob

I have had two different people cut my hair here. Both did a tremendous job. Very pleased with both peoples work. The prices are reasonable and I like how you add on each thing that you want done it’s not a flat fee and you get a whole package every time. Some times I just need a quick in and out haircut. Other times I enjoy a little pampering when I have the time and money. They facilitate this with their menu.

I had the pleasure of having my son first haircut ever and the entire staff there took their timeout to ensure he was comfortable with candy, clippers, toys and they were patient with him. Special shout out to Phillip who took care of my fade and BIG...BIG....Shout out to “NATO” who made my little man cut a success even with the screaming....lol

I used to live about 15 minutes from here in Winter Garden and decided to give it a shot. Turning Heads has such a great and professional staff and I have had a consistently great experience whenever I go in. I’ve been going for about 3 years now, and would even drive an hour when I moved to Sanford for a year. Would highly recommend!

This place is amazing. I just got a wonderful haircut form Nato. She was wonderful to talk with and it made for a great experience. I also brought my 5 year old son in recently ( he had a different stylist) and once we got home I felt like we had left his hair to long. Called to make an appointment and whoever picked up the phone today @ 1:40 pm just left the phone on the side, didn’t get back to me; I waited for over 10 minutes. Unfortunate, but I’ll take my $ somewhere else. That to me is a sign that no attention to detail and customer service is a priority.

We took a reluctant teen to this shop. Leigh was his stylist. She was so very attentive and professional with him that he allowed her to cut his hair. She listened to what he had to say, and that impressed us the most.It’s a modern shop with a steam punk flair. All of the stylists and barbers are friendly and cheerful. The charges are very reasonable and they will make appointments! We’ll be back!

The staff here is extremely nice, professional and engaging. The shop is small but very stylish and their heated massage chairs are amazing when getting a wash. I highly recommend the GQ experience! Worth every penny.

Went here after V’s barber shop butchered my hair (so bad they didn’t charge me). Andrea gave me the best haircut of my life, and I’m not exaggerating. I have my cosmetology license and have cut my own hair most of my life because it’s so hard to trust someone and find someone who will do a good job but Andrea rose to the occasion. Can’t recommend enough. Prices are super reasonable as well. And they take Apple Pay which is nice for 2% cash back if you have the Apple credit card

This was my first visit to this barbershop. I was pleasantly greeted by the two barbers. The barbers were working on clients so I had to wait a short time. I looked around and found the place very clean, sanitary looking and was nicely decorated. When it was my turn I was welcomed with a firm handshake by Liz. I told her the type of haircut I wanted and she went to work. We had great conversations and I was glad I found a nice shop. While it takes me longer to get there it was well worth it. I have made that shop my go-to place. And on top of it seniors get a discount.

I made an appointment after my last haircut with Andrea. She did a great job!! When I arrived today for that appointment I was told it was scheduled for yesterday. I’m sure that I made it for Friday because that is a day I work from home but mistakes happen. What I’m very disappointed in is the lack of trying to do anything by the gentleman working the front desk. He did not try and reschedule my appointment, did not attempt to get me an appointment for anytime today. Just looked at me like it was my mistake and too bad for me. I know they do a great business because it’s always crowded and that’s why I made an appointment.

I recently moved to Winter Garden and read great reviews about this barbershop and decided to give it a try. Normally I only go to Hispanic barbers as I find the attention to detail is superior. I dont speak Spanish and normally just show a photo of how I like my hair.That has always been enough. I showed the assigned barber my photo and was met with twenty questions of which I knew the answer to none. Maybe I should pay more attention; but, the fact is I dont cut hair so I dont pay attention to those details. I leave that to what I believe are the experts.It seems to me a good practitioner should be able to look at a photo and know how to duplicate that cut without needing more information. And, I assure you its a standard haircut -- we arent talking about engraved letters or anything custom. Just short on the sides with it being a little longer on top.When my response just kept being Im not sure; but, just like it is in the photo youd have think she got the hint that I just wanted a haircut similar to the one I just showed.The haircut I ultimately received wasnt good or bad and probably did wind up being close to the photo (though way too much was left on top) what was really almost impossible to accommodate was the barber being a smoker.Frankly I have no moral issue against those that smoke. Its legal and your right. However, I shouldnt have to smell your hands in my face for the whole time you are cutting my hair. It was nauseating. Those of you that dont smoke know what I mean. Its not an easy smell to accommodate.When she finally finished I was so eager to get out of the chair and away from that smell that I didnt even really look at what cut I was left with or I would have asked for more to be trimmed off the top.I know most barbers shops have gloves. If you smoke its probably a good idea to wear gloves that way your non-smoking customers dont have to share your habit against their will.Lastly I paid about $10 more than I usually do at the Hispanic barber for a cut that took 3/4 of the time.

Made an appointment - came 15 minutes earlier got skipped by a walk in and an appointment that was initially setup half an hour later. Tried to explain - Rude reception. Value peoples time as we value your business. Many others out there doing same or better job... Not going there again.

Nato took good care of me. got a great cut and a wonderful hot lather shave. This is a new shop but the staff are well experienced. Recommend you give them a try. Prices are good. For the guys - never had a straight razor shave before? Go get one - youll really like it.

Just discovered this place. My family loves it. They do great haircuts and are really nice to my son. Since we moved from another local chain haircut place he went from begging NOT to get a haircut to now asking us how long he has to wait until he can go back to Turning Heads for another haircut. They are skilled, have a cool shop and a great location.

Will not return. Was a regular customer Made an appointment online. My co-worker had an appointment an hour before mine. He - not me - was told my appointment was changed. Because allegedly their system double booked. He called to tell me. Nobody from Turning Heads called. Nobody bothered to ask if was even available to change times. No apology. No nothing.If indeed this alleged double booking did happen - which I doubt - how unprofessional and just plain rude to wait till an hour before to even tell not even the actual customer of a issue.I believe because I was a regular they - the receptionist there - thought no big deal to push me back to fit in someone else. The receptionist there is unfriendly and full of his own self importance at the best of times.You just lost a regular customer.

Nato has always taken good care of me. I dont trust many people to cut my hair and Ive been going there for quite a while now. She is an excellent small business owner and it shows with how the shop treats the customers!

EXCEPTIONAL! I decided to try out this place having recently moved to the area. I am very particular about my haircuts and skeptical about new places. My experience with Leigh was amazing from the time she greeted me, through the haircut, and during check out. She spent extra time, effort, and detail during my first cut to make sure she understood my style. I have returned back for a second cut since and it keeps getting better! I even take my son here and they cater to kids very well. I am glad to have found this local barbershop. Everyone is friendly and make it a fun & relaxing experience. Great place for an excellent haircut!

If you are coming here for a haircut, try to get some kind of gauge by asking around first which one of the hair cutters cuts best. You may sit down for a cut with someone who may not be able to do what you are looking for. However, if you are coming here for a shave, do not get a shave here. The barber I had was experienced in shaving but not experience in skincare and how shaving affects your skin. The barber also lacked a bit of confidence needed to make the skin taut as the barber asked me to taut my own skin. I had more than one or two nicks and came out with a painful shave. They use the Art of Shavings products, but not in the recommended way according to the Art of Shavings instructions. Too much preshave oil, a strange mix for the shaving cream, and optional after shave... Look elsewhere for a nice hot shave. I went home to wash off the loose hair on my face and my skin burned! What a painful experience.

Been a regular monthly customer since they opened. Would often notice people come in to get cuts and sign in only to wait 10-15min to be told that they were understaffed or overbooked and to leave/reschedule. I never gave it much thought until of course it happened to me. Called ahead to make sure I could be seated next, they confirmed. Drove there, signed in and asked again, confirmed I was next again. After waiting close to 20 min for prior appt to be finished I proceed to make my way to barber chair and am told that the manager wants me to cut the other mans hair 1st because he is a new customer! I was baffled and just left...Where is that kind of unprofessionalism heard of?? Manager admitted to it and offered me a lousy 10% off...what a joke!

So pretty much not 17 dollars unless of course you only getting a haircut and thats it. Doesnt involve towel or massage just an FYI for those reading this. 27 was paid to do 20 dollar work but I guess thats the price for winter garden

Love Nato and her cuts, I really have a hard time finding barber thats can do a proper and good medium high skin fade, but she always impresses me and makes sure the cut looks good. Her barbers are polite, and service is prompt. I recommend making appointments but walk ins are always welcome and the wait is generally short.

Received a great haircut, this is more of a no frills place in how it looks. Apparently they are working on it again. Reminds me of a place where the haircutters are renting a chair and are responsible for themselves. Getting the right person is key to your experience.

I’ve been coming a few times now and always having Leigh by luck of the draw. She’s nice but the other poster is right, she smells of cigarettes all the time and can be very careless with her hands. She poked my eye when she was brushing my hair and jabbed me with the comb prior to that. She needs to be more careful instead of moving so rough and recklessly.
