What an amazing place to get a cut and a shave!! Was looking for a place that was much closer to me here in winter garden and my friend recommended hector. I have been going now for a couple months and I don’t know why I didn’t start coming here sooner! It’s super easy to book your appointment online and pick the services you want. He makes it super easy and even though they may allow wall-ins… it’s best to book online as they can get busy. If you can’t figure out how to book online with his simple process, you’ve got issues lol.I love the ambience of this true, American barbershop… You won’t be disappointed!

I was recommended to Hector through a coworker as I was not satisfied with my current barbers level of service and pricing. I scheduled for an appointment with Hector and was met with professionalism and a very high level of service. I told Hector the type of haircut that I wanted and he provided me with exactly what I was looking for. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Not only was Hector quick, but he was highly efficient and knows his stuff. 10/10 would recommend if you are new to the area or looking to switch barbers.

Waited almost an hour before walking out. Hector is not professional nor knows how to run a business. Explains why most of the good barbers left there. Most barbershops know the simple order or clients but not here. Then they try to excuse it by claiming they are appointments. Its a shame because I tip equal to the cut so $20 haircut $ 20 tip. You expect people to pay for a poor service? Do yourself a favor and read the reviews.

Completely shaved my back and sides when i only wanted my sides cut and when i asked for an inch off the top they cut a whole 7 inches of my hair, they do not understand basic measurements and i will 100% not be going here ever again and will suggest no one else to go there either.

First time here stopped in only waited 10 minutes. Place is clean, barbers disinfected everything after cuts.Vince did a amazing job on my fade make sure to ask for him. Will definitely be back 👍

Ive been here multiple times, I bring my kid here, and I always leave happy. Its your typical guys barber shop, hip hop playing, with sports or a good movie playing on the big screen.Fades, blowouts, custom designs, Ive seen their barbers do it all.... good place, good ppl, great cuts, and good prices!

Hector is awesome. This time it was last minute and I called Hector, he stated someone else can cut my hair. I was on my way and only waited about 2-3 minutes, in/out. They are friendly to talk to.

Used to go there for years but after most of the best barbers left, it got very seedy and unprofessional. Barbers pick and choose clients and its just not the way it used to be a few years ago. From $10 to $20 dollars in less than a year for a very simple haircut

Shop had a relaxed vibe, staff was friendly. No pricing for haircuts posted (was $17 for mens cut). Not exactly what I wanted but the barber did a great job on this haircut so I will try again.

Ray is one of my favorite barbers here. He is always so professional while also being a genuine person. This place has been our go to place for my son. He got his first haircut here and hasnt stopped wanting to come ever since. They treat the kids top notch and their fade and edge are always on point. The same service my husband receives my son also gets. Wouldnt think of taking my son else where so we drive from Minneola to here for his haircuts. They are that good.

This is a great barber shop, clean, professional, and cuts that are always on point. Every barber Ive been given a cut by so far has been very good at their craft and knows what theyre doing. Its first come first serve too (from what I know) so youre not just sitting around waiting for someone to run out of appointments. Though, it does get busy from time to time during the usual rush hour, but for good reason, the good spots often do. If youre new to the area or just looking for a new barber, Id highly recommend HBS. Doesnt matter who you are, what cut you want, so on so forth, they got you.

Hector keeps raising the prices without notice! Been taking my children there for the last year. The last few months the price went up 4 dollars! 17 dollars to cut an 8 yr olds head is a bit steep whithout any complimentary services. If youre going to raise prices by all means do it but the professional approach is make your patrons aware (i.e. signage, word of mouth, etc) BEFORE the service is performed. As a consumer Im disappointed in the lack of appreciation towards loyal customers. Will not return or recommend this shop to fo anyone.

WARNING: This is not negative towards the establishment but a warning about a newer barber there. I Did not catch his name but he is a bigger guy with a Louis Vuitton front barber hair protector thing he wears. He literally looks like the kind of barber you know you are not going to get a good cut from. I felt that way rt when he called me up, i was in a rush or i would have waited. The cut i received is not a bad cut. Its a total annihilation of terrible. I have had bad cuts, but still looks like a haircut. There is no way a single person walks away from his chair like, damn thats a good cut, its not possible, his skills are so far in the wrong direction. IDK why Hector would hire this guy. i know he wont last after the complaints and failures he makes but, just toss him now. YOU HAVE TO KNOW HE IS BAD!!! Im not saying because i received a bad cut, its the technique, the failure to do the simplest things right, very very sloppy, and no knowledge on how to cut hair. Its all there. I promise he has no experience. There is no way. Anyways, wait the extra time for a barber. 10, 30, 100 minutes, hell if you gotta set up a tent outside and wait a week, do it. I promise!!!!

This place is horrible. Ive had so many problems with this place. There is no management whats so ever. Theres been numerous times Ive had gone and sat there for 2 hours without getting a cut. Barbers let people cut in front of people all the time. I talked to the guy in the front about it and he didnt care whats so ever. What Barber shop isnt open on a Sunday. Ive given this place lots of chances and still nothing has changed.

Only person who can truly cut is the bald guy that sits near the door. The rest if these guys need to learn how to give an even haircut with both sides matching up the same. Its been multiple times where I left out this place not satisfied. Some of the worst barbers are all on thus side. If you want a good cut go to Show Time barbershop in Longwood. Those guys there are very legit with the clippers Ive never in my life been disappointed at Show Time.

Ive been following Hector for some time now and he never ceases to amaze me; whether it be his professionalism he displays, cleanliness of the shop, or just added entertainment while the clients wait. All his barbers are fantastic, Im confident that whenever Im in the chair Ill leave happy and satisfied with the best cut in town.

I tend to disagree with Jessica Lopez. My 3 boys and I have been pleased with the haircuts we received at Hectors Barbershop. The attention to detail has been great and we all have different barbers that we like. Being an African American, I have enjoyed listening to hip hop, Latin, and ol school songs over the sound system. We have had great conversations about basketball teams, football teams, and soccer, from high school to the Pros. We have also enjoyed pizzas, drinks, candy, and many,fellas conversations, during after hours. What Jessicas brother may have experienced is a haircut that he didnt like. At that point, he could have asked for a manager or owner phone number and the issue could have been resolved immediately. Also, if you walk into a barbershop and see hair on the floor, that doesnt mean the place is dirty. Give it a minute or two and Im sure you will see someone grab a broom to sweep it up. Sometimes we get so angry at the small business owner, we run to our computer to show our dislike. When all it takes is a few minutes to find out who you need to speak with, like most adults do, at restaurants, Wal-Mart, Target, and even barbershops. Speaking Spainish isnt a crime. I have learned a few words myself by just listening. Every Barber in there speaks fluent English. So next time you are in the area and want to look your best, stop by and ask for my barber Gio also known as Hollywood G! Tell him T sent you.

Been going here for about three years now. I have never had a problem with my haircut, never been cut accidentally, never had any problem really. All the barbers here are great, Ive probably been cut perfectly by all of them, I dont have a particular barber. The wait can be long but Id recommend going in on Tuesday afternoon. There is also a bright house wifi hotspot if youre a client of BH which is nice. Haircuts here are much more affordable than say superclips. Quality banter among the gentlemen and barbers. Overall Id totally recommend hectors, and I do to my friends who are lookin nappy lol. Wont be going to any other barber shops as long as hectors is cutting

I was there before 9am on a Saturday, found out that there were people already in. I was waiting for Hector to do my haircut and when it was about to be my turn he called two guys that got there after me, Hector told me that they were first. I saw the two dudes getting in and greet Hector, so they were not there before me, probably they called Hector and got their turn by phone. This is unfair. Horrible service. They should have a policy, no turns by phone.
