Benjamin, Jared, Brooks, and the owner Mr. Loy truly care about the customers experience. As someone who also runs a business, in todays world I appreciate the adage of an older culture that is a lost in many other businesses.
Finding tech support that knows what they’re doing is really hard. Finding support that knows what they’re doing and is actually personable is dang near impossible.My iMac’s hard drive needed replaced and the guys at IT Worx took great care of me, getting me a great deal on a new drive and replacing it in a timely manner. They saved me time and money and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
I brought my computer in for a bad fan, took a full 5 days to diagnose which is the far end of what they said it would take, which is fine, but frustrating since when I went back to the store for pickup a new sign said only 3 days, not 3-5. I got the diagnosis after 5 days on a Friday, and was told 1-2 buisness days for the part to come in and be put in the computer, it took 4 buisness days until the following Thursday. When I arrived to pick it up on Friday I noticed some marring/dents in the top of the machine that were not there when it came in, the repair person said there was no notes of that on intake, obviously because it wasn’t there on intake. We kind of stood in silence for a few minutes, before I asked what they were going to do to fix it, and he told me the part it would be, then had someone else come out who looked over some stuff on the store’s computer and told me that he would have the manager look at it and call me within the next hour or two. No one ever called and now the store is closed until Monday.In summary the repair they said would take 5-7 buisness days took 9 and counting, it will probably be at least another 4 for them to replace the back housing which they damaged, but I still haven’t gotten a call from the manager so who knows. Save yourself the trouble and go to apple directly for warranty repair.
I brought my computer in when the IT work in Winston Salem had a turnover of a 5-7 day wait. I waited patiently and on day 5 I still hadnt received a diagnostic. I called and asked and they vaguely game me an answer about a couple more days. I called again and got the same answer. Day 8 comes around and they still havent diagnosed my computer. They then tell me that I can pay the rush fee... when the standard turnover should have already happened. Then I receive a diagnosis of $1,000 repair and a vague explanation about water damage. I received my apple diagnostic today of $471. Tread lightly folks! I have always had amazing experiences at the IT worx in Greensboro but would NOT recommend the WS one.. idk if its just Matt who works there or what. hope yall figure it out tho.
Very happy with my experience with this place! They’re very responsive and communicate very well! They fixed my iMac like new! Would definitely recommend!
📽🎥Took my Macbook in for repairs, VERY clean and organized waiting area. From phone call to visit to ordering replacement part to repair to pickup took 3 business days!!! Of course it depends on the level of repair but from my own the turnaround time and result was phenomenal!!
I paid an absurd amount to get a new battery plus a rush fee that puts me to the top of their list. Currently in a jam for work and assignments, I needed my lap top so I paid the rush fee. Understandably, it takes time to get the battery part. However, I was told that I would receive my laptop no problem by Monday and that if I couldnt get it by Monday they would call so that I could come pick up my laptop to use it and be productive until the part came in. Not only did I not get a phone call to reach out to me, they did not answer when I called several times and left a voice mail. So I drove up there Tuesday to not have it ready - and went back home (30 min there, and another 30 back)I requested the rush fee refunded for lack of communication and for loss of productivity time that can be purely pinpointed on them. I felt it would be more of a courtesy to apologize for poor communication and a waste of my time. Upon returning home, sure my battery is fixed. However, there are 3 loose keys on my keyboard and after dealing with them, I am unsure if it is even worth it to call and get that fixed. They are currently the only ones open right now so they may use that to excuse themselves of poor communication and an inattention to the keys that they loosened in attempt to fix my battery. If you can wait, you might as well pay an absurd amount at the Apple store instead of paying an absurd amount at an affiliate store.
I brought my iphone in to have a new battery replaced.These clowns broke my display, did not replace my battery and litterally gave my phone back shattered and not functioning at all. The phone worked perfectly fine before i took it to them. The battery just needed to be replaced. Definitely taking this to small claims court. In no world, can a professional business break your belongings, and refuse to make it right.
Wonderful experience. These folks are professional, efficient, courteous & kept me informed of progress. I highly recommend them. So glad there is a good Apple certified resource that is local!
Helped out during a punch to get my development machine back up and running. If I waited for an apple store I would have lost a lot of work.
Not very trust worthy guys. I took my iMac for repair. due to pandemic they were not able to work on it timely manner but after couple of months when I decided not to get it repaired, they returned my computer back. I could not power it on after I took it home. when I opened the computer I found that they did not connect all the wires back on.

Good service by this place. I needed a new macbook battery and they were very upfront with me about what the costs would be. They also discovered my hard drive was failing and were upfront about the costs for that too, as well as gave me candid information about what I could do on my own and what their labor would best be put towards. They worked with me when I wanted to purchase the parts myself and have them just do the installation.
Highly recommend IT Worx for all of your IT needs. The staff is very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I was having trouble getting my iMac to turn on. Alvin was able to diagnose and fix my computer within a few minutes! It is great to have a local company who you can trust and lean on for all of your IT needs. Thanks for making my day, Alvin!
Wont return phone calls, nor return emails
I took my iMac to this site, because my computer was in panic kernel and besides that it could not connect to a server, they charged me $ 160 to install the software on my computer and also arrange to remove the panic kernel, they told me My computer was ready to use, after I got home I connected the computer and it was exactly the same as how I took it, it kept shutting down continuously and told me that it could not connect to a server, a waste of money and time since I traveled around 1:30 am, myself at home watching YouTube tutorials I was able to connect my computer to a server and updating it was that I was able to remove the state of panic
Broke phone refused to repair. Literally shattered my phone.
Corresponded with them about new iphone battery; was told they’d contact me when they had one in stock. Months later had not heard from them. Called and was told they had battery in stock and I made appointment for the next week. Spent 30 minutes there and they couldn’t find a battery. Apparently, only one person knows if and/or where they have batteries, and he was going to be an hour late. I found another company in W-S (I’ll abbreviate it a2a) that provided outstanding same day service.
This place is amazing! Simply amazing! The turnaround time was faster than expected! Good to know there’s a certified repair place in Winston Salem. 🤘🏾
I had a minor issue with my MacBook Air ...after spending 3 hours on the phone with Apple and even driving all the way to the Greensboro Apple store to find out that they couldn’t help me....I ended up here. Which was a great thing. The guy who met me at the service desk was so polite and kind (Brandon?) He actually helped me resolve the issue right there in the lobby...while I realize that most people come to them with more major issues that cannot be fixed in the amount of time it took to fix mine I did just want to show my appreciation and that if I ever have any issues with my Mac again they will be the first people I call!
After (5) years of use the battery in my MacBook Pro needed to be replaced. Luckily, I.T. Worx in Winston-Salem had just opened preventing me from taking my laptop to the nearest Apple repair in Greensboro, (40) miles away! Outstanding service and repair. The transaction was simple and done in a timely, professional manner. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. Highly recommend them for all of your Apple needs.
Came in a week before for stuck key, they ordered the parts I needed, came in a week later and they fixed my computer that same day and gave it back to me within ten minutes. Great customer service.

The guys at I.T. WORX were so amazing and helped me get my computer fixed and back to working like new so fast! I was out of options and just new that I would have to get a new computer but after their diagnostic I quickly learned that I had a failing hard drive. They called me constantly with updates on the status of everything so I didnt have to wonder when things would be done. Mike got the part ordered, installed, and tested to make sure all was well so fast! When I went to pick up they helped me get the big screen out to my vehicle and even went above and beyond by providing me with a mouse and keyboard to use during set up in case my bluetooth ones wouldnt connect! I will definitely be telling everyone with a computer to check these guys out whenever they have an issue! QUALITY customer service at its finest!
Thanks to Mike and his crew for diagnosing my apple macbooks problems correctly. Initially, I was told it was a battery, then the operating software, non of which were true. I highly recommend ITWORX if you want an accurate diagnosis of the problem. Afterwards, you can determine if it is feasible or not to repair or trash your component.
Absolute trash turnaround time. you can tell this business is dysfunctional. please save the stress and bring your computer somewhere else.
The worst absolute service ever. They didn’t even look at my computer and charged $55. Don’t ever take any thing to these cheats.
